Herran uskollisuus, Israelin uskottomuus.

1. Halleluja! Kiittäkää Herraa, sillä hän on hyvä, sillä hänen armonsa pysyy iankaikkisesti.

1 Praise Jehovah. O give thanks to Jehovah, because he is good, because his loving kindness is everlasting.

2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah, or show forth all his praise?

2 (105:2) Кто изречет могущество Господа, возвестит все хвалы Его?

3. Autuaat ne, jotka noudattavat oikeutta, jotka aina tekevät vanhurskauden!

4 Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor that you bear to your people. O visit me with your salvation,

4. HERR, gedenke mein nach der Gnade, die du dem Volk verheißen hast; beweise uns deine Hilfe,

4 (105:4) Вспомни о мне, Господи, в благоволении к народу Твоему; посетименя спасением Твоим,

5. että minä näkisin sinun valittujesi onnen, iloitsisin sinun kansasi ilolla, kerskaisin sinun perintöosasi kanssa.

5. Että minä näkisin valittujes menestyksen, ja iloitsisin kansas ilossa, ja kerskaisin perimises kanssa.

5 that I may see the prosperity of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.

6 (105:6) Согрешили мы с отцами нашими, совершили беззаконие, соделали неправду.

7. Eivät meidän isämme Egyptissä painaneet mieleensä sinun ihmeitäsi, eivät muistaneet sinun monia armotekojasi, vaan niskoittelivat meren rannalla, Kaislameren rannalla.

7. Ei meidän isämme tahtoneet ymmärtää Egyptissä sinun ihmeitäs, eikä muistaneet sinun suurta laupiuttas, ja olivat meren tykönä tottelemattomat, Punaisen meren tykönä.

7 Our fathers did not understand your wonders in Egypt. They did not remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

7 (105:7) Отцы наши в Египте не уразумели чудес Твоих, не помнили множества милостей Твоих, и возмутились у моря, у Чермного моря.

8. Kuitenkin hän pelasti heidät nimensä tähden, tehdäkseen voimansa tiettäväksi.

9 (105:9) Грозно рек морю Чермному, и оно иссохло; и провел их по безднам, как по суше;

10. Hän pelasti heidät vihamiehen kädestä ja lunasti heidät vihollisen vallasta.

14 (105:14) увлеклись похотением в пустыне, и искусили Бога в необитаемой.

15. Ja hän antoi heille, mitä he pyysivät, mutta lähetti heihin hivuttavan taudin.

23. Silloin hän aikoi hävittää heidät, mutta Mooses, hänen valittunsa, seisoi suojana hänen edessään ja käänsi pois hänen vihansa tuhoa tuottamasta.

23. Ja hän sanoi heitä hukuttavansa, ellei Moses hänen valittunsa olisi seisonut siinä välissä, ja palauttanut hänen vihaansa, ettei hän ratki heitä kadottanut.

45 And he remembered his covenant for them and relented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
