Sodoman hävitys ja Lootin pelastus. Lootin tyttäret.

1. Ja ne kaksi enkeliä tulivat Sodomaan illalla, ja Loot istui Sodoman portissa; ja nähtyänsä heidät Loot nousi heitä vastaan ja kumartui maahan kasvoillensa.

1. Ja kaksi enkeliä tulivat ehtoona Sodomaan, ja Lot istui Sodoman portissa: ja kuin hän näki heidät, nousi hän heitä vastaan, ja kumarsi kasvoillensa maahan.

1. JA caxi Engelitä tulit ehtona Sodomaan ja Loth istui Sodoman portis ja cuin hän näki heidän nousi hän heitä wastan ja cumarsi caswoillens maahan.

1 And the two messengers came to Sodom in the evening and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. And Lot saw (them) and rose up to meet them. And he bowed himself (with his) face to the earth

1. And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

1. Die zwei Engel kamen gen Sodom des Abends; Lot aber saß zu Sodom unter dem Tor. Und da er sie sah, stand er auf, ihnen entgegen, und bückte sich mit seinem Angesicht zur Erde

1. VINIERON, pues, los dos ánge- les a Sodoma a la tarde: y Lot estaba sentado a la puerta de Sodoma: y viéndolos Lot, levantóse a recibirlos, e inclinóse la faz a tierra.

1 И пришли те два Ангела в Содом вечером, когда Лот сидел у ворот Содома. Лот увидел, и встал, чтобы встретить их,и поклонился лицем до земли

2. Ja hän sanoi: Oi herrani, poiketkaa palvelijanne taloon yöksi ja peskää jalkanne! Aamulla varhain voitte jatkaa matkaanne. He sanoivat: Emme, vaan me jäämme yöksi taivasalle.

2. Ja sanoi: katso, minun Herrani, poiketkaat teidän palvelianne huoneeseen yöksi, ja antakaat pestä jalkanne, ja aamulla varhain noustuanne menette matkaan. Ja he sanoivat: ei suinkaan, vaan kadulla me yötä pidämme.

2. Ja sanoi: cadzo HERra poiketcat teidän palweljan huoneseen yöxi ja andacat pestä jalcan ja amulla warhain nostuan menette matcaan. Ja he sanoit: ei suingan catulla me yötä pidäm.

2 and he said, Behold now, my lords, I beseech you*, turn aside into your* servant's house and abide all night and wash your* feet and you* will rise up early and go on your* way. And they said, No, but we will abide in the street all night.

2. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

2. und sprach: Siehe, liebe Herren, kehrt doch ein zum Hause eures Knechtes und bleibt über Nacht; laßt eure Füße waschen, so steht ihr morgens früh auf und zieht eure Straße. Aber sie sprachen: Nein, sondern wir wollen über Nacht auf der Gasse bleiben.

2. Y dijo: He aquí ahora, mis señores, ruégoos que vengáis a casa de vuestro siervo, y dormiréis, y lavaréis vuestros piés: y por la mañana os levantaréis, e iréis vuestro camino. Y ellos respondieron: No, que en la plaza dormiremos.

2 и сказал: государи мои! зайдите в дом раба вашего и ночуйте, и умойте ноги ваши, и встаньте поутру и пойдете в путь свой. Но они сказали: нет, мы ночуем на улице.

3. Mutta hän pyysi heitä pyytämällä, ja he poikkesivat hänen luoksensa ja tulivat hänen taloonsa. Ja hän valmisti heille aterian ja leipoi happamattomia leipiä, ja he söivät.

3. Ja hän kovin vaati heitä, ja he poikkesivat hänen tykönsä, ja tulivat hänen huoneeseensa. Ja hän valmisti heille aterian, ja leipoi happamattomia leipiä, ja he söivät.

3. Silloin hän cowin waadei heitä ja he poickeisit hänen tygöns ja tulit hänen huoneseens. Ja hän walmisti heille aterian ja leiwoi happamattomia leipiä ja he söit.

3 And he urged them greatly. And they turned aside to him and entered into his house. And he made a feast for them and baked unleavened (bread) and they ate.

3. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

3. Da nötigte er sie sehr; und sie kehrten zu ihm ein und kamen in sein Haus. Und er machte ihnen ein Mahl und buk ungesäuerte Kuchen; und sie aßen.

3. Mas él porfió con ellos mucho, y viniéronse con él, y entraron en su casa, e hízoles banquete, y coció panes sin levadura, y comieron.

3 Он же сильно упрашивал их; и они пошли к нему и пришли в дом его. Онсделал им угощение и испек пресные хлебы, и они ели.

4. Ennenkuin he olivat laskeutuneet levolle, piirittivät kaupungin miehet, sodomalaiset, sekä nuoret että vanhat, koko kansa kaikkialta, talon.

4. Ennenkuin he levätä panivat, tulivat kaupungin miehet, Sodomalaiset, nuoret ja vanhat: kaikki kansa joka kulmalta, ja piirittivät huoneen.

4. MUtta ennencuin he lewätä panit tulit Caupungin miehet Sodomast nuoret ja wanhat ja caicki Canssa jocaculmalda ja pijritit huonen.

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, encompassed (themselves) around the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter.

4. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

4. Aber ehe sie sich legten, kamen die Leute der Stadt Sodom und umgaben das ganze Haus, jung und alt, das ganze Volk aus allen Enden,

4. Y ántes que se acostasen, los varones de la ciudad, los varones de Sodoma, cercaron la casa desde el mozo hasta el viejo, todo el pueblo de cabo a cabo.

4 Еще не легли они спать, как городские жители, Содомляне, от молодого до старого, весь народ со всех концов города , окружили дом

5. Ja he huusivat Lootia sanoen hänelle: Missä ne miehet ovat, jotka tulivat luoksesi yöllä? Tuo heidät tänne meidän luoksemme, ryhtyäksemme heihin.

5. Ja huusivat Lotin, ja sanoivat hänelle: kussa ovat ne miehet, jotka sinun tykös yöllä tulivat? tuo heitä meidän tykömme tutaksemme heitä.

5. Ja cudzuit Lothin ulos ja sanoit hänelle: cusa owat ne miehet jotca sinun tygös yöllä tulit? tuo heitä meidän tygöm tutaxem heitä.

5 And they called to Lot and said to him, Where (are) the men who came to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may know them.

5. And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

5. und forderten Lot und sprachen zu ihm: Wo sind die Männer, die zu dir gekommen sind diese Nacht? Führe sie heraus zu uns, daß wir sie erkennen.

5. Y llamaron a Lot, y dijéronle: ¿Dónde están los varones que vinieron a tí esta noche? Sácanoslos, para que los conozcamos.

5 и вызвали Лота и говорили ему: где люди, пришедшие к тебе на ночь? выведи их к нам; мы познаем их.

6. Silloin Loot meni ulos heidän luokseen portille ja sulki oven jälkeensä

6. Silloin Lot meni ulos heidän tykönsä oven eteen, ja sulki oven jälkeensä.

6. Silloin Loth meni ulos heidän tygöns owen eteen ja sulki owen jälkens.

6 And Lot went out to them to the doorway and shut the door after him.

6. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

6. Lot ging heraus zu ihnen vor die Tür und schloß die Tür hinter sich zu

6. Entónces Lot salió a ellos a la puerta, y cerró las puertas tras sí;

6 Лот вышел к ним ко входу, и запер за собою дверь,

7. ja sanoi: Älkää, veljeni, tehkö niin pahoin.

7. Ja sanoi: älkäät te, rakkaat veljeni, tehkö niin pahoin.

7. Ja sanoi: älkätte rackat weljeni tehkö nijn pahoin.

7 And he said, I beseech you*, my brothers, do not (act) so wickedly.

7. And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

7. und sprach: Ach, liebe Brüder, tut nicht so übel!

7. Y dijo: Hermanos míos, ruégoos que no hagáis mal.

7 и сказал: братья мои, не делайте зла;

8. Katsokaa, minulla on kaksi tytärtä, jotka eivät vielä miehestä tiedä. Ne minä tuon teille, tehkää heille, mitä tahdotte. Älkää vain tehkö näille miehille mitään pahaa, sillä he ovat tulleet minun kattoni suojaan.

8. Katso, minulla on kaksi tytärtä, jotka ei vielä miehestä mitään tiedä: ne minä tuotan teille, tehkäät heille mitä te tahdotte: ainoastansa näille miehille älkäät mitään pahaa tehkö; sillä sentähden ovat he tulleet minun kattoni varjon ala.

8. Cadzo minulla on caxi tytärtä jotca ei wielä miehestä mitän tiedä ne minä tuotan teille tehkät heille mitä te tahdot ainoastans näille miehille älkät mitän paha tehkö sillä sentähden owat he tullet minun cattoni warjon ala.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters who have not known a man. I beseech you*, let me bring them out to you* and you* do to them as (is) good in your* eyes. Only do nothing to these men, inasmuch as they have come under the shadow of my roof.

8. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

8. Siehe, ich habe zwei Töchter, die haben noch keinen Mann erkannt, die will ich herausgeben unter euch, und tut mit ihnen, was euch gefällt; allein diesen Männern tut nichts, denn darum sind sie unter den Schatten meines Daches eingegangen.

8. He aquí ahora, yo tengo dos hijas, que no han conocido varón; sacarlas he ahora a vosotros, y hacéd de ellas como bien os parecerá: solamente a estos varones no hagáis nada, porque por eso vinieron a la sombra de mi tejado.

8 вот у меня две дочери, которые не познали мужа; лучше я выведу их к вам, делайте с ними, что вам угодно, только людям сим не делайте ничего, так как они пришли под кров дома моего.

9. Mutta he vastasivat: Mene tiehesi! Ja he sanoivat: Tuo yksi on tullut tänne asumaan muukalaisena, ja yhtäkaikki hän alati pyrkii hallitsemaan. Nytpä me pitelemmekin sinua pahemmin kuin heitä. Ja he tunkeutuivat väkivaltaisesti miehen, Lootin, kimppuun ja kävivät murtamaan ovea.

9. Mutta he sanoivat: tule tänne. Ja sanoivat: tuleeko joku muukalaiseksi, ja kuitenkin tahtoo kokonansa hallita? nyt, me teemme enemmän pahaa sinulle kuin heille: ja he tekivät suurella väkivallalla miehelle Lotille ylläkön, ja juoksivat ovea särkemään.

9. Mutta he sanoit: tule tänne. Ja sanoit: etkös ole yxinäns muucalainen täsä ja tahdot hallita? olcon me waiwam sinua cowemmin cuin heitä.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said, This one came in to journey and he will be a judge? Now we will deal worse with you, than with them. And they pressed greatly upon the man, (against) Lot and drew near to break the door.

9. And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

9. Sie aber sprachen: Geh hinweg! und sprachen auch: Du bist der einzige Fremdling hier und willst regieren? Wohlan, wir wollen dich übler plagen denn jene. Und sie drangen hart auf den Mann Lot. Und da sie hinzuliefen und wollten die Tür aufbrechen,

9. Y ellos respondieron: Quita allá. Y dijeron aun: Vino solo para habitar: ¿y juzgará juzgando? Ahora te haremos más mal que a ellos. Y hacían gran violencia al varón, a Lot: y llegáronse para quebrar las puertas.

9 Но они сказали: пойди сюда. И сказали: вот пришлец, и хочет судить? теперь мы хуже поступим с тобою, нежели с ними. И очень приступали к человеку сему, к Лоту, и подошли, чтобы выломать дверь.

10. Silloin miehet ojensivat kätensä, vetivät Lootin luoksensa huoneeseen ja sulkivat oven.

10. Niin miehet ojensivat kätensä ulos, ja tempasivat Lotin tykönsä huoneesen, ja paiskasivat oven kiinni.

10. Ja he teit suurella wäkiwallalla miehelle Lothille ylläkön ja cosca he juoxit owe särkemän nijn miehet pistit kätens ulons ja temmaisit Lothin tygöns huoneseen ja paiscaisit owen kijnni.

10 But the men put forth their hand and brought Lot to them into the house and shut the door.

10. But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

10. griffen die Männer hinaus und zogen Lot hinein zu sich ins Haus und schlossen die Tür zu.

10. Entónces los varones extendieron su mano, y metieron a Lot consigo en casa, y cerraron las puertas.

10 Тогда мужи те простерли руки свои и ввели Лота к себе в дом, и дверь заперли;

11. Ja he sokaisivat ne miehet, jotka olivat talon ovella, sekä nuoret että vanhat, niin että he turhaan koettivat löytää ovea.

11. Ja miehet, kuin huoneen oven edessä olivat, löivät he sokeudella, pienet ja suuret, niin että he väsyivät ovea etseissänsä.

11. Ja miehet cuin huonen owen edes olit löit he sokeudella suuret ja pienet nijn että he wäsyit owe edzeisäns.

11 And they struck the men who (were) at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied (themselves) (trying) to find the door.

11. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

11. Und die Männer vor der Tür wurden mit Blindheit geschlagen, klein und groß, bis sie müde wurden und die Tür nicht finden konnten.

11. Y a los varones, que estaban a la puerta de la casa, hirieron con ceguedades, desde el pequeño hasta el grande; mas ellos se fatigaban por hallar la puerta.

11 а людей, бывших при входе в дом, поразили слепотою, от малого до большого, так что они измучились, искав входа.

12. Ja miehet sanoivat Lootille: Vieläkö sinulla on ketään omaista täällä? Vie pois täältä vävysi, poikasi, tyttäresi ja kaikki, keitä sinulla kaupungissa on,

12. Ja miehet sanoivat Lotille: onko sinulla vielä tässä jouku? vävyjä, eli poikia taikka tyttäriä, eli kaikkia mitä sinulla on tässä kaupungissa? vie ne ulos tästä siasta.

12. JA miehet sanoit Lothille: ongo sinulla täsä wäwyjä poikia eli tyttäritä caicki jotca omas owat Caupungis wie ulos tästä siast.

12 And the men said to Lot, Have you any here (in Sodom) besides (those in the house)? (Take your) son-in-law and your sons and your daughters and whomever you have in the city (and) bring (them) out of the place.

12. And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

12. Und die Männer sprachen zu Lot: Hast du noch irgend hier einen Eidam und Söhne und Töchter, und wer dir angehört in der Stadt, den führe aus dieser Stätte.

12. Y dijeron los varones a Lot: ¿Tienes aun aquí alguno? Yernos, y tus hijos, y tus hijas, y todo lo que tienes en la ciudad, saca de este lugar.

12 Сказали мужи те Лоту: кто у тебя есть еще здесь? зять ли, сыновья ли твои, дочери ли твои, и кто бы ни был у тебя в городе, всех выведи из сего места,

13. sillä me hävitämme tämän paikan. Koska huuto heistä on käynyt suureksi Herran edessä, lähetti Herra meidät hävittämään sen.

13. Sillä me hukutamme tämän paikan: että heidän huutonsa on suuri Herran edessä, niin Herra lähetti meidät heitä hukuttamaan.

13. Me hucutam tämän paican: sillä heidän huutons on suuri HERran edes joca meidän lähetti heitä hucuttaman.

13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them has been great (before) Jehovah. And Jehovah has sent us to destroy it.

13. For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

13. Denn wir werden diese Stätte verderben, darum daß ihr Geschrei groß ist vor dem HERRN; der hat uns gesandt, sie zu verderben.

13. Porque destruimos este lugar, porque el clamor de ellos se ha engrandecido delante de Jehová; por tanto Jehová nos ha enviado para destruirlo.

13 ибо мы истребим сие место, потому что велик вопль на жителей его к Господу, и Господь послал нас истребить его.

14. Silloin Loot meni puhuttelemaan vävyjänsä, joiden oli aikomus ottaa hänen tyttärensä, ja sanoi: Nouskaa, lähtekää pois tästä paikasta, sillä Herra hävittää tämän kaupungin. Mutta hänen vävynsä luulivat hänen laskevan leikkiä.

14. Niin Lot meni ulos ja puhutteli vävyjänsä, jotka piti saaman hänen tyttärensä, ja sanoi: nouskaat ja lähtekäät tästä siasta: sillä Herra hukuttaa tämän kaupungin: mutta hän oli niinkuin leikkiä tekevä hänen vävyinsä silmäin edessä.

14. Nijn Loth meni ulos ja puhutteli wäwyjäns jotca piti saaman hänen tyttärens ja sanoi: noscat ja lähtekät tästä siast: sillä HERra hucutta tämän Caupungin: mutta se oli nijncuin houraus heidän silmäins edes.

14 And Lot went out and spoke to his sons in-law, who married his daughters and said, Up, you* get out of this place, because Jehovah will destroy the city. But he seemed as a (man) jesting, to his sons-in-law.

14. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

14. Da ging Lot hinaus und redete mit seinen Eidamen, die seine Töchter nehmen sollten: Macht euch auf und geht aus diesem Ort; denn der HERR wird diese Stadt verderben. Aber es war ihnen lächerlich.

14. Entónces salió Lot, y habló a sus yernos, los que habían de tomar sus hijas, y díjoles: Levantáos, salíd de este lugar; porque ha de destruir Jehová esta ciudad: mas fué tenido como burlador en los ojos de sus yernos.

14 И вышел Лот, и говорил с зятьями своими, которые брали за себядочерей его, и сказал: встаньте, выйдите из сего места, ибо Господьистребит сей город. Но зятьям его показалось, что он шутит.

15. Aamun sarastaessa enkelit kiirehtivät Lootia sanoen: Nouse, ota vaimosi ja molemmat tyttäresi, jotka ovat luonasi, ettet hukkuisi kaupungin syntivelan tähden.

15. Koska aamurusko kävi ylös, kiiruhtivat enkelit Lotin joutumaan, ja sanoivat: nouse, ota emäntäs, ja kaksi tytärtäs, jotka saapuvilla ovat, ettet sinä myös hukkuisi tämän kaupungin pahuudessa.

15. COsca amurusco käwi ylös kijrutit Engelit Lothin joutuman ja sanoit: walmista sinus ota emändäs ja caxi tytärtäs jotca saapuilla owat ettet sinäkän huckuis tämän Caupungin pahudes.

15 And when the morning arose, then the messengers hurried Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who (are) found (here), lest you are consumed in the iniquity of the city.

15. And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

15. Da nun die Morgenröte aufging, hießen die Engel den Lot eilen und sprachen: Mache dich auf, nimm dein Weib und deine zwei Töchter, die vorhanden sind, daß du nicht auch umkommst in der Missetat dieser Stadt.

15. Y como el alba subía, los ángeles dieron priesa a Lot, diciendo: Levántate, toma a tu mujer, y tus dos hijas, que se hallan aquí, porque no perezcas en el castigo de la ciudad.

15 Когда взошла заря, Ангелы начали торопить Лота, говоря: встань, возьми жену твою и двух дочерей твоих, которые у тебя, чтобы не погибнуть тебе за беззакония города.

16. Ja kun hän vielä vitkasteli, tarttuivat miehet hänen käteensä sekä hänen vaimonsa ja molempien tyttäriensä käteen, sillä Herra tahtoi säästää hänet, ja veivät hänet ulos ja jättivät hänet ulkopuolelle kaupunkia.

16. Koska hän viipyi, tarttuivat miehet hänen käteensä, ja hänen emäntänsä, ja hänen kahden tyttärensä käteen, sillä Herra tahtoi säästää heitä: ja taluttivat hänen ulos ja jättivät hänen ulkopuolelle kaupunkia.

16. Cosca hän wijpyi tartuit miehet hänen käteens ja hänen emändäns ja hänen cahden tyttärens käteen ( sillä HERra tahdoi säästä heitä ) talutit hänen ja weit hänen Caupungist ulos.

16 But he lingered. And the men laid hold upon his hand and upon the hand of his wife and upon the hand of his two daughters, (because) Jehovah (was) being merciful to him and they brought him forth and set him outside the city.

16. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

16. Da er aber verzog, ergriffen die Männer ihn und sein Weib und seine zwei Töchter bei der Hand, darum daß der HERR ihn verschonte, und führten ihn hinaus und ließen ihn draußen vor der Stadt.

16. Y deteniéndose él, los varones asieron de su mano, y de la mano de su mujer, y de las manos de sus dos hijas, en la misericordia de Jehová que era sobre él: y sacáronle, y pusiéronle fuera de la ciudad.

16 И как он медлил, то мужи те, по милости к нему Господней, взяли за руку его и жену его, и двух дочерей его, и вывели его и поставили его внегорода.

17. Ja viedessään heitä ulos sanoi mies: Pakene henkesi tähden, älä katso taaksesi äläkä pysähdy mihinkään lakeudella. Pakene vuorille, ettet hukkuisi.

17. Ja koska he johdattivat heitä ulos, sanoivat he: pelasta sinun sielus, ja älä katsahda taakses, ja älä myös seisahda koko tälle lakeudelle; vaan turvaa sinuas vuorelle, ettes hukkuisi.

17. Ja cosca he johdatit heitä sanoit he: pelasta sinun sielus ja älä cadzata tacas ja älä myös seisata coco tälle lakeudelle waan turwa sinus wuorelle ettes huckuis.

17 And it happened, when they had brought them outside, that he said, Escape for your life. Do not look behind you, neither will you stay in all the Plain. Escape to the mountain, lest you are consumed.

17. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

17. Und als sie ihn hatten hinausgebracht, sprach er: Errette dein Seele und sieh nicht hinter dich; auch stehe nicht in dieser ganzen Gegend. Auf den Berg rette dich, daß du nicht umkommst.

17. Y fué, que sacándoles fuera, dijo: Escápate: sobre tu alma no mires tras tí, ni pares en toda esta llanura, en el monte escápate, porque no perezcas.

17 Когда же вывели их вон, то один из них сказал: спасай душу свою; не оглядывайся назад и нигде не останавливайся в окрестности сей; спасайся на гору, чтобы тебе не погибнуть.

18. Mutta Loot sanoi heille: Oi herrani, ei niin!

18. Ja Lot sanoi heille: Ei Herra.

18. Ja Loth sanoi heille: älkät minun HERRANI.

18 And Lot said to them, Oh, not (so), my lord.

18. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

18. Aber Lot sprach zu ihnen: Ach nein, Herr!

18. Y Lot les dijo: No, yo os ruego, señores míos:

18 Но Лот сказал им: нет, Владыка!

19 Behold now, your servant has found favor in your sight and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me and I die.

19. Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

19. Siehe, dieweil dein Knecht Gnade gefunden hat vor deinen Augen, so wollest du deine Barmherzigkeit groß machen, die du an mir getan hast, daß du meine Seele am Leben erhieltest. Ich kann mich nicht auf den Berg retten; es möchte mich ein Unfall ankommen, daß ich stürbe.

19. He aquí ahora, ha hallado tu siervo gracia en tus ojos, y has engrandecido tu misericordia, que has hecho conmigo, dándome la vida: mas yo no podré escaparme en el monte, que quizá no se me pegue el mal, y muera.

19 вот, раб Твой обрел благоволение пред очами Твоими, и велика милость Твоя, которую Ты сделал со мною, что спас жизнь мою; но я не могу спасаться на гору, чтоб не застигла меня беда и мне не умереть;

20. Katso, tuolla on kaupunki lähellä, vähän matkan päässä, paetakseni sinne; salli minun pelastua sinne — onhan se vähän matkan päässä — jäädäkseni eloon.

20 Behold now, this city (is) near to flee to and it (is) a little one. Oh let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul will live.

20. Siehe, da ist eine Stadt nahe, darein ich fliehen kann, und sie ist klein; dahin will ich mich retten (ist sie doch klein), daß meine Seele lebendig bleibe.

20. He aquí ahora, esta ciudad está cercana para huir allá, la cual es pequeña, escaparme he ahora allí; ¿no es pequeña, y vivirá mi alma?

20 вот, ближе бежать в сей город, он же мал; побегу я туда, – он жемал; и сохранится жизнь моя.

21. Ja hän sanoi hänelle: Katso, minä teen sinulle mieliksi tässäkin kohden; en hävitä kaupunkia, josta puhut.

21 And he said to him, Behold, I have lifted up you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city (of) which you have spoken.

21 И сказал ему: вот, в угодность тебе Я сделаю и это: не ниспровергну города, о котором ты говоришь;

22. Pakene nopeasti sinne, sillä minä en voi tehdä mitään, ennenkuin olet sinne saapunut. Siitä kaupunki sai nimekseen Sooar.

22. Riennä, pelasta sinuas siellä: sillä en minä taida tehdä mitään, siihenasti ettäs sinne sisälle tulet. Sentähden kutsui hän sen kaupungin Zoar.

22 You hasten, escape there, because I cannot do anything till you have come there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

22 поспешай, спасайся туда, ибо Я не могу сделать дела, доколе ты не придешь туда. Потому и назван город сей: Сигор.

25 And he overthrew those cities and all the Plain and all the inhabitants of the cities and what grew upon the ground.

25 и ниспроверг города сии, и всю окрестность сию, и всех жителей городов сих, и произрастания земли.

26. Ja Lootin vaimo, joka tuli hänen jäljessään, katsoi taaksensa, ja niin hän muuttui suolapatsaaksi.

27 And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he had stood (before) the face of Jehovah.

28. katseli Sodomaan ja Gomorraan päin ja yli koko lakeuden, ja katso, maasta nousi savu niinkuin pätsin savu.

28. Ja katsahti Sodomaa ja Gomorraa päin, ja kaiken sen maan lakeuteen; ja näki että savu nousi maasta niinkuin pätsin savu.

28. Ja cadzahti Sodoman ja Gomorran päin ja caiken sen maan lakeuteen ja näki että sauwu nousi maasta nijncuin pädzin sauwu:

28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the Plain and saw (it). And behold, the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace.

28 и посмотрел к Содому и Гоморре и на все пространство окрестности и увидел: вот, дым поднимается с земли, как дым из печи.

29. Kun Jumala tuhosi sen lakeuden kaupungit, muisti Jumala Aabrahamia ja johdatti Lootin pois hävityksen keskeltä, hävittäessään ne kaupungit, joissa Loot oli asunut.

29 And it happened, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham and (that he) sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.

29. Und es geschah, da Gott die Städte in der Gegend verderbte, gedachte er an den Abraham und geleitete Lot aus den Städten, die er umkehrte, darin Lot wohnte.

29. Y fué, que destruyendo Dios las ciudades de la llanura, Dios se acordó de Abraham, y envió a Lot de en medio de la destrucción, destruyendo las ciudades donde Lot estaba.

29 И было, когда Бог истреблял города окрестности сей, вспомнил Бог обАврааме и выслал Лота из среды истребления, когда ниспровергал города,в которых жил Лот.

30. Ja Loot lähti Sooarista ja asettui vuoristoon molempien tyttäriensä kanssa, sillä hän pelkäsi asua Sooarissa; ja hän asui luolassa, hän ja hänen molemmat tyttärensä.

30 И вышел Лот из Сигора и стал жить в горе, и с ним две дочери его, ибо он боялся жить в Сигоре. И жил в пещере, и с ним две дочери его.

31 And the firstborn said to the younger, Our father (is) old and (there is) not a man on the earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth.

31. Da sprach die ältere zu der jüngeren: Unser Vater ist alt, und ist kein Mann mehr auf Erden der zu uns eingehen möge nach aller Welt Weise;

31. Entónces la mayor dijo a la menor: Nuestro padre es viejo, y no queda varón en la tierra que entre a nosotras conforme a la costumbre de toda la tierra:

31 И сказала старшая младшей: отец наш стар, и нет человека на земле, который вошел бы к нам по обычаю всей земли;

32. Tule, juottakaamme isällemme viiniä ja maatkaamme hänen kanssaan, saadaksemme isästämme jälkeläisen.

32 итак напоим отца нашего вином, и переспим с ним, и восставим от отца нашего племя.

33. Niin he juottivat sinä yönä isällensä viiniä. Ja vanhempi meni ja makasi hänen kanssaan, eikä tämä huomannut, milloin hän tuli hänen viereensä ja milloin hän nousi.

33 И напоили отца своего вином в ту ночь; и вошла старшая и спала с отцом своим: а он не знал, когда она легла и когда встала.

34. Seuraavana päivänä sanoi vanhempi nuoremmalle: Katso, minä makasin viime yönä isäni kanssa; juottakaamme hänelle tänäkin yönä viiniä, ja mene sinä ja makaa hänen kanssaan, saadaksemme isästämme jälkeläisen.

34. Toisena päivänä sanoi vanhempi nuoremmalle: katso, minä makasin menneenä yönä isäni kanssa: juottakaamme häntä tänäkin yönä viinalla, ja mene sinä ja makaa hänen kanssansa, herättääksemme isästämme siementä.

34 And it happened on the day after, that the firstborn said to the younger, Behold, I lay with my father last night. Let us make him drink wine this night also and you go in (and) lie with him, that we may preserve seed by our father.

34. And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

34. Des Morgens sprach die ältere zu der jüngeren: Siehe, ich habe gestern bei meinem Vater gelegen. Laß uns ihm diese Nacht auch Wein zu trinken geben, daß du hineingehst und legst dich zu ihm, daß wir Samen von unserm Vater erhalten.

34. El día siguiente dijo la mayor a la menor: He aquí, yo dormí la noche pasada con mi padre; démosle a beber vino también esta noche, y entra, duerme con él, y conservarémos de nuestro padre generación.

34 На другой день старшая сказала младшей: вот, я спала вчера с отцом моим; напоим его вином и в эту ночь; и ты войди, спи с ним, и восставим от отца нашего племя.

37 And the firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab. He (is) the father of the Moabites to this day.

37. Und die ältere gebar einen Sohn, den nannte sie Moab. Von dem kommen her die Moabiter bis auf den heutigen Tag.

38. Ja nuorempi myös synnytti pojan, ja kutsui hänen nimensä BenAmmi: hänestä tulivat Ammonin lapset, hamaan tähän päivään asti.

38 And the younger, she also bore a son and called his name Ben-ammi. The same (is) the father of the sons of Ammon to this day.

38. Und die jüngere gebar auch einen Sohn, den hieß sie das Kind Ammi. Von dem kommen die Kinder Ammon bis auf den heutigen Tag.

38. La menor también parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Ben-ammi, el cual es padre de los Ammonitas hasta hoy.
