Napisevan kansan rangaistus. Tappio Horman luona.

1. Silloin koko kansa alkoi huutaa ja parkua, ja kansa itki sen yön.

2. Ja kaikki Israelin lapset napisivat Mosesta ja Aaronia vastaan, ja koko joukko sanoi heille: jospa olisimme kuolleet Egyptin maalla! taikka jospa tässä korvessa vielä kuolisimme!

2 And all the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron. And the whole congregation said to them, Would that we had died in the land of Egypt, or would that we had died in this wilderness!

2. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

2. Und alle Kinder Israel murrten wider Mose und Aaron, und die ganze Gemeinde sprach zu ihnen: Ach, daß wir in Ägyptenland gestorben wären oder noch stürben in dieser Wüste!

2. Y quejáronse contra Moisés, y contra Aarón, todos los hijos de Israel, y dijéronles toda la multitud: Ojalá hubiéramos muerto en la tierra de Egipto: o en este desierto, ojalá muriéramos.

2 и роптали на Моисея и Аарона все сыны Израилевы, и все общество сказало им: о, если бы мы умерли в земле Египетской, или умерли бы в пустыне сей!

3. Ja miksi viekään Herra meitä tuohon maahan, jossa me kaadumme miekkaan ja vaimomme ja lapsemme joutuvat vihollisen saaliiksi! Eikö meidän olisi parempi palata Egyptiin?

3. Miksi Herra vie meitä tälle maalle miekalla surmattaa! Meidän vaimomme ja lapsemme tulevat saaliiksi! Eikö parempi ole, että palajamme Egyptiin?

3 And why does Jehovah bring us to this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will be a prey. Were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

3. And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

3. Warum führt uns der HERR in dies Land, daß wir durchs Schwert fallen und unsere Weiber und unsere Kinder ein Raub werden? Ist's nicht besser, wir ziehen wieder nach Ägypten?

3. Y ¿por qué nos trae Jehová a esta tierra para caer a cuchillo, y que nuestras mujeres y nuestros chiquitos sean por presa? ¿No nos sería mejor volvernos a Egipto?

3 и для чего Господь ведет нас в землю сию, чтобы мы пали от меча? жены наши и дети наши достанутся в добычу врагам ; не лучше ли нам возвратиться в Египет?

4. Ja he puhuivat toinen toiselleen: Valitkaamme johtaja ja palatkaamme Egyptiin.

4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain and let us return into Egypt.

5. Silloin Mooses ja Aaron lankesivat kasvoilleen Israelin kansan koko seurakunnan eteen.

5. Niin Moses ja Aaron lankesivat kasvoillensa, koko Israelin lasten seurakunnan edessä.

5. Mutta Moses ja Aaron langeisit caswoillens coco Israelin lasten seuracunnan edes.

5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the sons of Israel.

5 И пали Моисей и Аарон на лица свои пред всем собранием общества сынов Израилевых.

6 И Иисус, сын Навин, и Халев, сын Иефонниин, из осматривавших землю, разодрали одежды свои

7. ja puhuivat kaikelle israelilaisten seurakunnalle näin: Maa, jota kävimme vakoilemassa, on ylen ihana maa.

7 And they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land.

7 и сказали всему обществу сынов Израилевых: земля, которую мы проходили для осмотра, очень, очень хороша;

8. Jos Herra on meille suosiollinen, niin hän vie meidät siihen maahan ja antaa sen meille, maan, joka vuotaa maitoa ja mettä.

8. Jos Herralla on hyvä suosio meihin, niin hän vie meidät sille maalle, ja antaa sen meille: se on maa, jossa rieskaa ja hunajaa vuotaa.

8 If Jehovah delights in us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.

8. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

8. Wenn der HERR uns gnädig ist, so wird er uns in das Land bringen und es uns geben, ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt.

8. Si Jehová se agradare de nosotros, él nos meterá en esta tierra, y nos la entregará, tierra que corre leche y miel.

8 если Господь милостив к нам, то введет нас в землю сию и даст нам ее– эту землю, в которой течет молоко и мед;

9. Älkää vain kapinoiko Herraa vastaan älkääkä peljätkö sen maan kansaa, sillä heitä ei ole meille kuin suupalaksi. Heidän varjelijansa on väistynyt heistä, mutta meidän kanssamme on Herra. Älkää te heitä peljätkö.

9. Ainoastansa älkäät olko Herraa vastaan niskurit, ja älkäät te peljätkö tämän maan kansaa; sillä me syömme heitä niinkuin leipää: heidän turvansa on erinnyt heistä, ja Herra on meidän kanssamme: älkäät peljätkö heitä.

9 Only do not rebel against Jehovah, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense is removed from over them and Jehovah is with us. Fear them not.

9. Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

9. Fallt nur nicht ab vom HERRN und fürchtet euch vor dem Volk dieses Landes nicht; denn wir wollen sie wie Brot fressen. Es ist ihr Schutz von ihnen gewichen; der HERR aber ist mit uns. Fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen.

9. Por tanto no seais rebeldes contra Jehová, ni temáis al pueblo de aquesta tierra, porque nuestro pan son. Su amparo se ha apartado de ellos, y con nosotros es Jehová, no los temáis.

9 только против Господа не восставайте и не бойтесь народа земли сей; ибо он достанетсянам на съедение: защиты у них не стало, а с нами Господь; не бойтесь их.

10. Silloin koko seurakunta vaati heitä kivitettäviksi, mutta Herran kirkkaus ilmestyi kaikille israelilaisille ilmestysmajassa.

10. Niin sanoi koko kansan joukko, että he piti kivitettämän kuoliaaksi, ja Herran kunnia näkyi seurakunnan majassa kaikille Israelin lapsille.

10 But all the congregation commanded, stone them with stones. And the glory of Jehovah appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.

10. Da sprach das ganze Volk, man sollte sie steinigen. Da erschien die Herrlichkeit des HERRN in der Hütte des Stifts allen Kindern Israel.

10. Entónces toda la multitud habló de apedrearlos con piedras, y la gloria de Jehová se mostró en el tabernáculo del testimonio a todos los hijos de Israel.

10 И сказало все общество: побить их камнями! Но слава Господня явилась в скинии собрания всем сынам Израилевым.

11. Ja Herra sanoi Moosekselle: Kuinka kauan tämä kansa pitää minua pilkkanaan eikä usko minuun, huolimatta kaikista tunnusteoista, jotka minä olen tehnyt sen keskuudessa?

11. Ja Herra sanoi Mosekselle: kuinka kauvan tämä kansa pilkkaa minua? ja kuinka kauvan ei he usko minun päälleni, kaikkein tunnustähtein kautta, jotka minä heidän seassansa tehnyt olen?

11 And Jehovah said to Moses, How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have worked among them?

11. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

11. Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Wie lange lästert mich dies Volk? und wie lange wollen sie nicht an mich glauben durch allerlei Zeichen, die ich unter ihnen getan habe?

11. Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: ¿Hasta cuándo me ha de irritar este pueblo? ¿Hasta cuándo no me ha de creer con todas las señales que he hecho en medio de ellos?

11 И сказал Господь Моисею: доколе будет раздражать Меня народ сей? и доколе будет он не верить Мне при всех знамениях, которые делал Я среди его?

12. Minä tuhoan sen rutolla ja hävitän sen perinjuurin, mutta sinusta minä teen suuremman ja väkevämmän kansan, kuin se on.

12. Minä lyön heitä ruttotaudilla, ja hävitän heitä, ja minä teen sinun suuremmaksi ja väkevämmäksi kansaksi, kuin tämän.

12 I will kill* them with the pestilence and disinherit them and will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.

12. Yo lo heriré de mortandad, y lo destruiré, y a tí te pondré sobre gente grande y fuerte más que él.

12 поражу его язвою и истреблю его и произведу от тебя народ многочисленнее и сильнее его.

13. Mutta Mooses sanoi Herralle: Ovathan egyptiläiset kuulleet, että sinä voimallasi olet vienyt tämän kansan heidän keskeltänsä.

13. Ja Moses sanoi Herralle: jos Egyptiläiset saavat sen kuulla, joiden keskeltä sinä olet johdattanut tämän kansan sinun voimallas,

13 And Moses said to Jehovah, Then the Egyptians will hear it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them,

13. And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

13. Mose aber sprach zu dem HERRN: So werden's die Ägypter hören; denn du hast dies Volk mit deiner Kraft mitten aus ihnen geführt.

13. Y Moisés respondió a Jehová: Y oirlo han los Egipcios, porque de en medio de él sacaste a este pueblo con tu fortaleza.

13 Но Моисей сказал Господу: услышат Египтяне, из среды которых Тысилою Твоею вывел народ сей,

14. Ja he ovat puhuneet siitä sen maan asukkaille; hekin siis ovat kuulleet, että sinä, Herra, olet tämän kansan keskellä, sinä Herra, joka olet sille ilmestynyt silmästä silmään, ja että sinun pilvesi pysyy heidän päällänsä ja että sinä kuljet heidän edellänsä pilvenpatsaassa päivin ja tulenpatsaassa öin.

14. Ja ne sanovat tämän maan asuvaisille, jotka kuulleet ovat, että sinä Herra olet tämän kansan seassa, ja että sinä Herra nähdään kasvoista niin kasvoihin, ja sinun pilves seisoo heidän päällänsä, ja sinä käyt heidän edellänsä, päivällä pilven patsaassa ja yöllä tulen patsaassa;

14 and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you Jehovah are in the midst of this people, for you Jehovah are seen face to face and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

14. And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

14. Und man wird es sagen zu den Einwohnern dieses Landes, die da gehört haben, daß du, HERR, unter diesem Volk seist, daß du von Angesicht gesehen werdest und deine Wolke stehe über ihnen und du, HERR, gehest vor ihnen her in der Wolkensäule des Tages und Feuersäule des Nachts.

14. Y dirán los Egipcios a los habitadores de esta tierra, los cuales han ya oido que tú, oh Jehová, estabas en medio de este pueblo, que ojo a ojo aparecías tú, oh Jehová, y que tu nube estaba sobre ellos y que de día ibas delante de ellos en columna de nube, y de noche en columna de fuego;

14 и скажут жителям земли сей, которые слышали, что Ты, Господь, находишьсясреди народа сего, и что Ты, Господь, даешь им видеть Себя лицем к лицу, и облако Твое стоит над ними, и Ты идешь пред ними днем в столпе облачном, а ночью в столпе огненном;

15. Mutta jos sinä nyt surmaat tämän kansan, niinkuin yhden miehen, niin kansat, jotka saavat kuulla sitä kerrottavan sinusta, sanovat näin:

15. Jos sinä tapat tämän kansan, niinkuin yhden miehen, niin pakanat, jotka sanoman sinusta kuulleet ovat, puhuvat ja sanovat:

15. Jos sinä tapat tämän Canssan nijncuin yhden miehen nijn pacanat jotca sencaltaisen sanoman sinusta cuullet owat puhuwat ja sanowat:

15 Now if you will kill this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying,

15. Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

15. Würdest du nun dies Volk töten, wie einen Mann, so würden die Heiden sagen, die solch Gerücht von dir hören, und sprechen:

15. Y que has hecho morir a este pueblo como a un hombre: y dirán las gentes, que oyeren tu fama, diciendo:

15 и если Ты истребишь народ сей, как одного человека, то народы, которые слышали славу Твою, скажут:

16. Koska Herra ei kyennyt viemään tätä kansaa siihen maahan, jonka hän oli heille valalla vannoen luvannut, tappoi hän heidät erämaahan.'

16. Ei Herra voinut johdattaa tätä kansaa siihen maahan, jonka hän heille vannoi; sentähden on hän heidät surmannut korvessa.

16. Ettei HERra woinut johdatta tätä Canssa sijhen maahan josta hän heille wannoi sentähden on hän murhannut heitä corwes.

16 Because Jehovah was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.

16. Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

16. Der HERR konnte mitnichten dies Volk in das Land bringen, das er ihnen geschworen hatte; darum hat er sie geschlachtet in der Wüste.

16. Porque no pudo Jehová meter este pueblo en la tierra de la cual les había jurado, los mató en el desierto.

16 Господь не мог ввести народ сей в землю, которую Он с клятвою обещал ему, а потому и погубил его в пустыне.

17. Osoittautukoon nyt sinun suuri voimasi, Herra, niinkuin olet puhunut sanoen:

17. Nyt siis enentäkään Herra voimansa, niinkuin sinä puhunut olet, sanoen:

17. Mingätähden enändäkän HERra woimans nijncuin sinä puhunut olet sanoden:

17 And now, I beseech you, let the power of the Lord be great, just-as you have spoken, saying,

17. And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

17. So laß nun die Kraft des HERRN groß werden, wie du gesagt hast und gesprochen:

17. Ahora, pues, yo te ruego que sea magnificada la fortaleza del Señor, como lo hablaste, diciendo:

17 Итак да возвеличится сила Господня, как Ты сказал, говоря:

18. Herra on pitkämielinen ja suuri armossa, hän antaa anteeksi pahat teot ja rikokset, mutta ei jätä niitä rankaisematta, vaan kostaa isien pahat teot lapsille kolmanteen ja neljänteen polveen.'

18. Herra on pitkämielinen ja sangen laupias, ja antaa anteeksi vääryydet ja rikokset, ja ei yhtään viallista pidä viatoinna, mutta kostaa isäin vääryydet lapsille kolmanteen ja neljänteen polveen.

18 Jehovah is slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression and that will by no means clear (the guilty), visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

18. The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

18. Der HERR ist geduldig und von großer Barmherzigkeit und vergibt Missetat und Übertretung und läßt niemand ungestraft sondern sucht heim die Missetat der Väter über die Kinder ins dritte und vierte Glied.

18. Jehová, luengo de iras, y grande en misericordia, que suelta la iniquidad y la rebelión: y absolviendo no absolverá. Que visita la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta los terceros y hasta los cuartos.

18 Господь долготерпелив и многомилостив, прощающий беззакония ипреступления, и не оставляющий без наказания, но наказывающий беззаконие отцов в детях до третьего и четвертого рода.

19. Anna siis anteeksi tämän kansan pahat teot suuressa armossasi, niinkuin sinä ennenkin olet anteeksi antanut tälle kansalle, Egyptistä tänne saakka.

19. Niin ole armollinen tämän kansan rikokselle, sinun suuresta laupiudestas, niinkuin sinä tälle kansalle annoit anteeksi hamasta Egyptistä tähän asti.

19. Nijn ole armollinen tämän Canssan ricoxille sinun suurest laupiudestas nijncuin sinä tälle Canssalle annoit andexi hamast Egyptist tähän asti.

19 Pardon, I beseech you, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness and just-as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

19. Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

19. So sei nun gnädig der Missetat dieses Volks nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit, wie du auch vergeben hast diesem Volk aus Ägypten bis hierher.

19. Perdona ahora la iniquidad de este pueblo según la grandeza de tu misericordia, y como has perdonado a este pueblo desde Egipto hasta aquí.

19 Прости грех народу сему по великой милости Твоей, как Ты прощалнарод сей от Египта доселе.

20. Ja Herra vastasi: Minä annan anteeksi, niinkuin sinä olet anonut.

20. Ja Herra sanoi: minä annoin sen heille anteeksi, sinun sanas jälkeen.

20. JA HERra sanoi: minä annoi sen heille andexi sinun sanas jälken.

20 And Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to your word,

20. And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

20. Und der HERR sprach: Ich habe es vergeben, wie du gesagt hast.

20. Entónces Jehová dijo: Yo lo he perdonado conforme a tu dicho.

20 И сказал Господь Моисею : прощаю по слову твоему;

21. Mutta niin totta kuin minä elän, ja niin totta kuin Herran kirkkaus on täyttävä kaiken maan:

21. Mutta niin totta kuin minä elän, niin koko maailma täytetään Herran kunnialla.

21. Mutta nijn totta cuin minä elän nijn coco mailma täytetän HERran cunnialla:

21 but in very deed, as I live and as all the earth will be filled with the glory of Jehovah,

21. But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

21. Aber so wahr als ich lebe, so soll alle Herrlichkeit des HERRN voll werden.

21. Mas ciertamente vivo yo, y mi gloria hinche toda la tierra,

21 но жив Я, и славы Господней полна вся земля:

22. Denn alle die Männer, die meine Herrlichkeit und meine Zeichen gesehen haben, die ich getan habe in Ägypten und in der Wüste, und mich nun zehnmal versucht und meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht haben,

22. Que todos los que vieron mi gloria, y mis señales que he hecho en Egipto y en el desierto, y me han tentado ya diez veces, y no han oido mi voz,

22 все, которые видели славу Мою и знамения Мои, сделанные Мною в Египте и в пустыне, и искушали Меня уже десять раз, и не слушали гласаМоего,

23. ei yksikään heistä ole näkevä sitä maata, jonka minä valalla vannoen lupasin heidän isillensä; ei yksikään minun pilkkaajistani ole sitä näkevä.

23 surely they will not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither will any of them who despised me see it.

23. No verán la tierra de la cual juré a sus padres; y que ninguno de los que me han irritado, la verá.

23 не увидят земли, которую Я с клятвою обещал отцам их; все, раздражавшие Меня, не увидят ее;

24. Mutta koska minun palvelijassani Kaalebissa on toinen henki, niin että hän on minua uskollisesti seurannut, niin hänet minä vien siihen maahan, jossa hän kävi, ja hänen jälkeläisensä saavat sen omakseen.

24 но раба Моего, Халева, за то, что в нем был иной дух, и он совершенно повиновался Мне, введу в землю, в которую он ходил, и семя его наследует ее;

25. Mutta koska amalekilaiset ja kanaanilaiset asuvat laaksoissa, niin kääntykää huomenna toisaanne päin ja painukaa erämaahan, Kaislameren tietä.

28 Say to them, As I live, says Jehovah, surely as you* have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you*.

30. Totisesti, te ette pääse siihen maahan, jonka minä olen kättä kohottaen luvannut antaa teille asumasijaksi, ei kukaan teistä, paitsi Kaaleb, Jefunnen poika, ja Joosua, Nuunin poika.

30 surely you* will not come into the land, concerning which I swore that I would make you* dwell in it, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

30. Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

30. sollt nicht in das Land kommen, darüber ich meine Hand gehoben habe, daß ich euch darin wohnen ließe, außer Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, und Josua, dem Sohn Nuns.

30. Que vosotros no entraréis en la tierra por la cual alcé mi mano de haceros habitar en ella, sacando a Caleb hijo de Jefone, y a Josué hijo de Nun.

30 не войдете в землю, на которой Я, подъемля руку Мою, клялся поселить вас, кроме Халева, сына Иефонниина, и Иисуса, сына Навина;

31 But your* little ones, that you* said would be a prey, them I will bring in and they will know the land which you* have rejected.

31. Eure Kinder, von denen ihr sagtet: Sie werden ein Raub sein, die will ich hineinbringen, daß sie erkennen sollen das Land, das ihr verwerft.

31. Y vuestros chiquitos, de los cuales dijisteis: Por presa serán, yo los meteré, y ellos sabrán la tierra que vosotros despreciasteis.

31 детей ваших, о которых вы говорили, что они достанутся в добычу врагам , Я введу туда , и ониузнают землю, которую вы презрели,

32 But as for you*, your* dead bodies will fall in this wilderness.

32. Aber ihr samt euren Leibern sollt in dieser Wüste verfallen.

32. Y vuestros cuerpos, vosotros, en este desierto caerán.

32 а ваши трупы падут в пустыне сей;

33. ja teidän lastenne täytyy harhailla paimentolaisina tässä erämaassa neljäkymmentä vuotta ja kärsiä teidän uskottomuutenne tähden, kunnes teidän ruumiinne ovat maatuneet tähän erämaahan.

33. Ja teidän lapsenne pitää oleman paimenina tässä korvessa, neljäkymmentä ajastaikaa, kantaen teidän huoruuttanne, siihenasti että ruumiinne kuluvat korvessa.

33 And your* sons will be wanderers in the wilderness forty years and will bear your* prostitutions, until your* dead bodies be consumed in the wilderness.

33. Und eure Kinder sollen Hirten sein in dieser Wüste vierzig Jahre und eure Untreue tragen, bis daß eure Leiber aufgerieben werden in der Wüste,

33. Mas vuestros hijos serán pastores en este desierto cuarenta años, y ellos llevarán vuestras fornicaciones, hasta que vuestros cuerpos sean consumidos en el desierto:

33 а сыны ваши будут кочевать в пустыне сорок лет, и будут нести наказание за блудодейство ваше, доколе не погибнут все тела ваши в пустыне;

34. Niinkuin te neljäkymmentä päivää vakoilitte maata, niin saatte nyt, päivä vuodeksi luettuna, neljäkymmentä vuotta kärsiä pahoista teoistanne ja tulla tuntemaan, mitä se on, että minä käännyn teistä pois.

34. Nach der Zahl der vierzig Tage, darin ihr das Land erkundet habt; je ein Tag soll ein Jahr gelten, daß ihr vierzig Jahre eure Missetaten tragt; auf daß ihr innewerdet, was es sei, wenn ich die Hand abziehe.

34. Conforme al número de los dias en que reconocisteis la tierra, cuarenta dias, día por año, día por año, llevaréis vuestras iniquidades cuarenta años, y conoceréis mi castigo.

34 по числу сорока дней, в которые вы осматривали землю, вы понесетенаказание за грехи ваши сорок лет, год за день, дабы вы познали, что значит быть оставленным Мною.

35. Minä, Herra, olen puhunut. Totisesti, niin minä teen tälle häijylle kansalle, joka on käynyt kapinoimaan minua vastaan: he hukkuvat tähän erämaahan, tänne he kuolevat.

35 I, Jehovah, have spoken, surely I will do this to all this evil congregation that are gathered together against me. In this wilderness they will be consumed and there they will die.

35. I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

35. Ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt; das will ich auch tun aller dieser bösen Gemeinde, die sich wider mich empört hat. In dieser Wüste sollen sie aufgerieben werden und daselbst sterben.

35. Yo Jehová he hablado: Si esto no hiciere a toda esta congregación mala, que se ha juntado contra mí: en este desierto serán consumidos, y ahí morirán.

35 Я, Господь, говорю, и так и сделаю со всем сим злым обществом,восставшим против Меня: в пустыне сей все они погибнут и перемрут.

36. Mutta ne miehet, jotka Mooses oli lähettänyt maata vakoilemaan ja jotka palattuaan olivat saattaneet koko kansan napisemaan häntä vastaan, saattamalla sen maan pahaan huutoon,

36. Ja nijn cuolit HERran rangaistuxesta ne miehet jotca Moses lähetti maata wacoiman ja palaisit saattain caiken seuracunnan napiseman händä wastan

36 And the men, whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation to murmur against him by bringing up an evil report against the land,

36. And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,

36. Also starben durch die Plage vor dem HERRN alle die Männer, die Mose gesandt hatte, das Land zu erkunden, und wiedergekommen waren und wider ihn murren machten die ganze Gemeinde,

36. Y los varones que Moisés envió a reconocer la tierra, y vueltos habían hecho murmurar contra él a toda la congregación infamando la tierra:

36 И те, которых посылал Моисей для осмотрения земли, и которые, возвратившись, возмутили против него все сие общество, распуская худую молву о земле,

37. ne miehet, jotka olivat saattaneet sen maan pahaan huutoon, kuolivat äkkikuolemalla Herran edessä.

37. Ne miehet kuolivat Herran rangaistuksesta, jotka toivat pahan sanoman maasta,

37. Että he laitit maata ja sanoit sen pahaxi.

37 even those men who brought up an evil report of the land, died by the plague before Jehovah.

37. Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

37. damit daß sie dem Lande ein Geschrei machten, daß es böse wäre.

37. Aquellos varones, que habían infamado la tierra, murieron de plaga delante de Jehová:

37 сии, распустившие худую молву о земле, умерли, быв поражены пред Господом;

38. Mutta Joosua, Nuunin poika, ja Kaaleb, Jefunnen poika, jäivät eloon niistä miehistä, jotka olivat käyneet maata vakoilemassa.

38. Mutta Josua Nunin poika ja Kaleb Jephunnen poika jäivät elämään kaikista niistä miehistä, jotka menneet olivat maata vakoomaan.

38. Mutta Josua Nunin poica ja Caleb Jephunnen poica jäit elämän caikista nijstä miehistä jotca mennet olit maata wacoiman.

38 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, remained alive of those men who went to spy out the land.

38. But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

38. Aber Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, blieben lebendig aus den Männern, die gegangen waren, das Land zu erkunden.

38. Mas Josué hijo de Nun, y Caleb hijo de Jefone, vivieron, de aquellos hombres que habían ido a reconocer la tierra.

38 только Иисус, сын Навин, и Халев, сын Иефонниин, остались живы из тех мужей, которые ходили осматривать землю.

39. Ja Mooses puhui tämän kaikille israelilaisille. Niin kansa tuli kovin murheelliseksi.

39. Ja Moses puhui kaikki nämät sanat kaikille Israelin lapsille: silloin kansa murehti suuresti.

39 And Moses told these words to all the sons of Israel and the people mourned greatly.

39. And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

39. Und Mose redete diese Worte zu allen Kindern Israel. Da trauerte das Volk sehr,

39. Y Moisés dijo estas cosas, a todos los hijos de Israel, y el pueblo se enlutó mucho.

39 И сказал Моисей слова сии пред всеми сынами Израилевыми, и народ сильно опечалился.

40. Ja he nousivat varhain seuraavana aamuna lähteäkseen ylös vuoristoon ja sanoivat: Katso, tässä me olemme; me lähdemme siihen paikkaan, josta Herra on puhunut, sillä me olemme syntiä tehneet.

40 And they rose up early in the morning and got up to the top of the mountain, saying, Behold, we are here and will go up to the place which Jehovah has promised, for we have sinned.

40. And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

40. und sie machten sich des Morgens früh auf und zogen auf die Höhe des Gebirges und sprachen: Hier sind wir und wollen hinaufziehen an die Stätte, davon der HERR gesagt hat; denn wir haben gesündigt.

40. Y levantáronse por la mañana, y subieron a la cumbre del monte, diciendo: Hénos aquí aparejados para subir al lugar del cual ha hablado Jehová, por cuanto hemos pecado.

40 И, встав рано поутру, пошли на вершину горы, говоря: вот, мы пойдем на то место, о котором сказал Господь, ибо мы согрешили.

41. Mutta Mooses sanoi: Minkätähden te nyt käytte rikkomaan Herran käskyä? Ei se onnistu.

41. Mutta Moses sanoi: miksi te niin rikotte Herran sanan? ei se teille menesty.

41. Mutta Moses sanoi: mixi te nijn ricotte HERran sanan? ei se teille menesty.

41 And Moses said, Why do you* now transgress the commandment of Jehovah, seeing it will not prosper?

41. And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.

41. Mose aber sprach: Warum übertretet ihr also das Wort des HERRN? Es wird euch nicht gelingen.

41. Y dijo Moisés: ¿Por qué quebrantáis el dicho de Jehová? Esto tampoco os sucederá bien.

41 Моисей сказал: для чего вы преступаете повеление Господне? это будет безуспешно;

42. Älkää lähtekö sinne, sillä Herra ei ole teidän keskellänne; älkää lähtekö, etteivät vihollisenne voittaisi teitä.

42. Älkäät menkö, sillä ei ole Herra teidän kanssanne, ettette lyötäisi teidän vihollisiltanne.

42. Älkät mengö sillä ei ole HERra teidän cansan ettei te lyödäis teidän wiholisildan.

42 Do not go up, for Jehovah is not among you*, that you* are not struck down before your* enemies.

42. Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

42. Ziehet nicht hinauf, denn der HERR ist nicht unter Euch, daß ihr nicht geschlagen werdet vor euren Feinden.

42. No subáis, porque Jehová no está en medio de vosotros, no seais heridos delante de vuestros enemigos.

42 не ходите, ибо нет среди вас Господа, чтобы не поразили вас врагиваши;

43. Sillä amalekilaiset ja kanaanilaiset ovat siellä teitä vastassa, ja niin te kaadutte miekkaan; sillä te olette kääntyneet pois Herrasta, eikä Herra ole teidän kanssanne.

43. Sillä Amalekilaiset ja Kanaanealaiset ovat siellä teidän edessänne, ja miekalla surmataan, että te itsenne käänsitte pois Herrasta: ja ei ole Herra teidän kanssanne.

43. Sillä Amalechiterit ja Cananerit owat siellä teidän edesän ja te miecalla surmatan että te idzen käänsitte pois HERrasta. Ja ei ole HERra teidän cansan.

43 For there the Amalekite and the Canaanite are before you* and you* will fall by the sword. Because you* have turned back from following Jehovah, therefore Jehovah will not be with you*.

43. For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.

43. Denn die Amalekiter und Kanaaniter sind vor euch daselbst, und ihr werdet durchs Schwert fallen, darum daß ihr euch vom HERRN gekehrt habt, und der HERR wird nicht mit euch sein.

43. Porque el Amalecita, y el Cananeo están allí delante de vosotros, y caeréis a cuchillo; porque por cuanto os habéis tornado de seguir a Jehová, y Jehová no será con vosotros.

43 ибо Амаликитяне и Хананеи там пред вами, и вы падете от меча, потому что вы отступили от Господа, и не будет с вами Господа.

44. Yhtäkaikki he lähtivät uppiniskaisuudessaan kulkemaan ylös vuoristoon; mutta ei Herran liitonarkki eikä Mooseskaan siirtynyt leiristä.

44. Mutta he rohkaisivat itsensä menemään vuoren kukkulalle, vaan Herran liitonarkki ja Moses ei menneet leiristä ulos.

44. Mutta he rohwaisit idzens menemän wuoren cuckulalle. Mutta HERran lijton Arcki ja Moses ei mennet leiristä ulos.

44 But they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain, nevertheless the ark of the covenant of Jehovah and Moses, did not depart out of the camp.

44. But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.

44. Aber sie waren störrig, hinaufzuziehen auf die Höhe des Gebirges; aber die Lade des Bundes des HERRN und Mose kamen nicht aus dem Lager.

44. Y forzáronse a subir en la cumbre del monte, mas el arca del concierto de Jehová, y Moisés no se quitaron de en medio del campo.

44 Но они дерзнули подняться на вершину горы; ковчег же завета Господня и Моисей не оставляли стана.

45. Silloin amalekilaiset ja kanaanilaiset, jotka siinä vuoristossa asuivat, syöksyivät alas ja voittivat heidät ja hajottivat heidät, ajaen heitä aina Hormaan asti.

45. Niin tulivat Amalekilaiset ja Kanaanealaiset, jotka vuorella asuivat, ja löivät heidät ja runtelivat heitä hamaan Hormaan asti.

45. Nijn tulit Amalechiterit ja Cananerit jotca wuorella asuit ja löit heidän ja rundelit heitä haman Horman asti.

45 Then the Amalekites came down and the Canaanites who dwelt in that mountain and killed* them and beat them down, even to Hormah.

45. Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

45. Da kamen die Amalekiter und Kanaaniter, die auf dem Gebirge wohnten, herab und schlugen und zersprengten sie bis gen Horma.

45. Y descendió el Amalecita, y el Cananeo que habitaban en el monte, e hiriéronlos, y deshiciéronlos, hasta Jorma.

45 И сошли Амаликитяне и Хананеи, живущие на горе той, и разбили их, и гнали их до Хормы.
