Saulin kuolema

1. Mutta filistealaiset taistelivat Israelia vastaan; ja Israelin miehet pakenivat filistealaisia, ja heitä kaatui surmattuina Gilboan vuorella.

1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel. And the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell down slain in Mount Gilboa.

1. Die Philister stritten wider Israel. Und die von Israel flohen vor den Philistern und fielen erschlagen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa.

1. LOS Filisteos pelearon con Israel, e Israel huyó delante de ellos, y cayeron heridos en el monte de Gelboé.

1 Филистимляне воевали с Израилем, и побежали Израильтяне от Филистимлян, и падали пораженные на горе Гелвуе.

2. Ja filistealaiset pääsivät Saulin ja hänen poikiensa kintereille, ja filistealaiset surmasivat Joonatanin, Abinadabin ja Malkisuan, Saulin pojat.

2. Ja Philistealaiset kovin ajoivat Saulia ja hänen poikiansa takaa, ja Philistealaiset löivät Jonatanin, Abinadabin ja Malkisuan, Saulin pojat.

2 And the Philistines followed hard after Saul and after his sons. And the Philistines killed Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul.

2. And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.

2. Aber die Philister hingen sich an Saul und seine Söhne hinter ihnen her und erschlugen Jonathan, Abinadab und Malchisua, die Söhne Sauls.

2. Y los Filisteos siguieron a Saul, y a sus hijos; y mataron los Filisteos a Jonatán, y a Abinadab, y a Melquisua, hijos de Saul.

2 И погнались Филистимляне за Саулом и сыновьями его, и убили Филистимляне Ионафана и Авинадава и Мелхисуя, сыновей Сауловых.

3. Ja kun taistelu kiihtyi ankaraksi Saulia vastaan ja jousimiehet keksivät hänet, joutui hän hätään jousimiesten ahdistaessa.

3. Ja sota oli ankara Saulia vastaan, ja joutsimiehet tulivat hänen päällensä, ja hän haavoitettiin ampujilta.

3 And the battle went hard against Saul and the archers overtook him. And he was wounded because of the archers.

3. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.

3. Und des Streit ward hart wider Saul; und die Bogenschützen kamen an ihn, daß er von den Schützen verwundet ward.

3. Y la batalla se agravó sobre Saul, y alcanzáronle los flecheros, y fué herido de los flecheros.

3 Сражение против Саула усилилось, и стрелки устремились на него, так что он изранен был стрелками.

4. Ja Saul sanoi aseenkantajallensa: Paljasta miekkasi ja lävistä sillä minut, etteivät nuo ympärileikkaamattomat tulisi pitämään minua pilkkanaan. Mutta hänen aseenkantajansa ei tahtonut, sillä hän pelkäsi kovin. Niin Saul itse otti miekan ja heittäytyi siihen.

4. Niin sanoi Saul aseensa kantajalle: vedä miekkas ulos ja pistä minut lävitse, ettei nämät ympärileikkaamattomat tulisi ja tekisi häpiällisesti minulle. Mutta hänen aseensa kantaja ei tahtonut; sillä hän pelkäsi suuresti. Niin otti Saul miekan ja heittäysi siihen.

4. Silloin sanoi Saul asenscandajalle: wedä mieckas ulos ja pistä minua läpidze ettei nämät ymbärinsleickamattomat tulis ja tekis häpiälisest minulle. Mutta hänen asenscandaja ei tahtonut: sillä hän pelkäis suurest. Silloin otti Saul mieckans ja langeis sen päälle.

4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell upon it.

4. Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

4. Da sprach Saul zu seinem Waffenträger: Zieh dein Schwert aus und erstich mich damit, daß diese Unbeschnittenen nicht kommen und schändlich mit mir umgehen! Aber sein Waffenträger wollte nicht; denn er fürchtete sich sehr. Da nahm Saul sein Schwert und fiel hinein.

4. Entónces Saul dijo a su escudero: Saca tu espada, y pásame con ella, porque no vengan estos incircuncisos, y escarnezcan de mí. Mas su escudero no quiso, porque tenía gran miedo. Entónces Saul tomó la espada, y echóse sobre ella.

4 И сказал Саул оруженосцу своему: обнажи меч твойи заколи меня им, чтобы не пришли эти необрезанные и не надругались надо мною. Но оруженосец не решился, потому что очень испугался. Тогда Саул взял меч и пал на него.

5. Mutta kun hänen aseenkantajansa näki, että Saul oli kuollut, heittäytyi hänkin miekkaansa ja kuoli.

5 And when his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword and died.

5. Da aber sein Waffenträger sah, daß er tot war, fiel er auch ins Schwert und starb.

5. Y como su escudero vió a Saul muerto, él también se echó sobre su espada y matóse.

5 Оруженосец его, увидев, что Саул умер, и сам пал на меч и умер.

6. Niin kuolivat Saul ja hänen kolme poikaansa ynnä koko hänen perheensä; he kuolivat yhdessä.

6 So Saul died and his three sons. And all his house died together.

6. Así murió Saul, y sus tres hijos, y toda su casa murió juntamente con él.

7. Ja kun kaikki Israelin miehet, jotka asuivat tasangolla, huomasivat, että he olivat paenneet ja että Saul poikinensa oli kuollut, jättivät he kaupunkinsa ja pakenivat, ja filistealaiset tulivat ja asettuivat niihin.

7. Kuin Israelin miehet, jotka laaksossa olivat, näkivät heidän paenneeksi ja Saulin poikinensa kuolleeksi, jättivät he kaupunkinsa ja pakenivat. Ja Philistealaiset tulivat ja asuivat niissä.

7 And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled. And the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

7. Da aber die Männer Israels, die im Grunde wohnten, sahen, daß sie geflohen waren und daß Saul und seine Söhne tot waren, verließen sie ihre Städte und flohen, und die Philister kamen und wohnten darin.

7. Y viendo todos los de Israel que habitaban en el valle, que habían huido, y que Saul y sus hijos eran muertos, dejaron sus ciudades, y huyeron: y vinieron los Filisteos y habitaron en ellas.

7 Когда увидели Израильтяне, которые были в долине, что все бегут и что Саул и сыновья его умерли, то оставили города свои и разбежались; а Филистимляне пришли и поселились в них.

8. Seuraavana päivänä filistealaiset tulivat ryöstämään surmattuja ja löysivät Saulin ja hänen poikansa kaatuneina Gilboan vuorelta.

8. Toisena päivänä tulivat Philistealaiset riisumaan lyötyjä, ja he löysivät Saulin poikinensa makaavan Gilboan vuorella.

8 And it happened on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in Mount Gilboa.

8. Des andern Morgens kamen die Philister, die Erschlagenen auszuziehen, und fanden Saul und seine Söhne liegen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa

8. Y fué que viniendo el día siguiente los Filisteos a despojar los muertos, hallaron a Saul y a sus hijos tendidos en el monte de Gelboé.

8 На другой день пришли Филистимляне обирать убитых, и нашли Саула и сыновей его, павших на горе Гелвуйской,

9. Niin he ryöstivät hänet ja ottivat hänen päänsä ja hänen aseensa ja lähettivät ne ympäri filistealaisten maata, julistaaksensa voitonsanomaa epäjumalillensa ja kansalle.

9. Ja sittekuin he hänen riisuneet olivat, ottivat he hänen päänsä ja aseensa, ja lähettivät Philistealaisten maan ympäri, ja antoivat ilmoittaa epäjumalillensa ja kansalle,

9 And they stripped him and took his head and his armor and sent into the land of the Philistines all around to carry the news to their idols and to the people.

9. und zogen ihn aus und hoben auf sein Haupt und seine Waffen und sandten's ins Land der Philister umher und ließen's verkündigen vor ihren Götzen und dem Volk

9. Y después que le hubieron desnudado, tomaron su cabeza, y sus armas, y enviáronlo todo a la tierra de los Filisteos por todas partes, para que fuese denunciado a sus ídolos, y al pueblo.

9 и раздели его, и сняли с него голову его и оружие его, и послали по земле Филистимской, чтобы возвестить о сем пред идолами их и пред народом.

10. Ja he asettivat hänen aseensa jumalansa temppeliin, ja hänen pääkallonsa he kiinnittivät Daagonin temppeliin.

10. Ja panivat hänen aseensa jumalansa huoneesen, ja hänen päänsä löivät he kiinni Dagonin huoneen päälle.

10 And they put his armor in the house of their gods and fastened his head in the house of Dagon.

10. Y pusieron sus armas en el templo de su dios: y colgaron la cabeza en el templo de Dagón.

10 И положили оружие его в капище богов своих, и голову его воткнулив доме Дагона.

11. Kun koko Gileadin Jaabes kuuli, mitä kaikkea filistealaiset olivat tehneet Saulille,

11. Kuin kaikki Gileadin Jabeksessa kuulivat kaikki, mitä Philistealaiset Saulille tehneet olivat,

11. Cosca caicki Gileadin Jabexes cuulit caicki mitä Philisterit Saulille tehnet olit.

11 And when all Jabesh-gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,

11. Da aber alle die zu Jabes in Gilead hörten alles, was die Philister Saul getan hatten,

11. Y oyendo todos los de Jabes de Galaad lo que los Filisteos habían hecho de Saul,

11 И услышал весь Иавис Галаадский все, что сделали Филистимляне с Саулом.

12. nousivat he, kaikki asekuntoiset miehet, ja ottivat Saulin ja hänen poikainsa ruumiit ja toivat ne Jaabekseen. Sitten he hautasivat heidän luunsa tammen alle Jaabekseen ja paastosivat seitsemän päivää.

12 all the valiant men arose and took away the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons and brought them to Jabesh and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh and fasted seven days.

12. They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.

12. machten sie sich auf, alle streitbaren Männer, und nahmen die Leichname Sauls und seiner Söhne und brachten sie gen Jabes und begruben ihre Gebeine unter der Eiche zu Jabes und fasteten sieben Tage.

12. Levantáronse todos los valientes hombres, y tomaron el cuerpo de Saul, y los cuerpos de sus hijos, y trajéronlos a Jabes; y enterraron sus huesos debajo del alcornoque en Jabes, y ayunaron siete dias.

12 И поднялись все люди сильные, взяли тело Саулово и тела сыновей его, и принесли их в Иавис, и похоронили кости их под дубом в Иависе, и постились семь дней.

13. Niin kuoli Saul, koska hän oli ollut uskoton Herraa kohtaan eikä ollut ottanut vaaria Herran sanasta, ja myös sentähden, että hän oli kysynyt vainajahengeltä neuvoa,

13. Ja niin kuoli Saul pahoissa teoissansa, joita hän Herraa vastaan tehnyt oli, ettei hän pitänyt Herran sanaa, ja että hän myös etsi velhovaimoa kysyäksensä häneltä,

13. Ja nijn cuoli Saul hänen pahois tegoisans cuin hän HERra wastan tehnyt oli ettei hän pitänyt HERran sana ja että hän kysyi welhowaimolda.

13 So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah, which he did not keep and also because he asked counsel of a spiritist, to inquire (of it),

13. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;

13. Also starb Saul an seiner Missetat, die er wider den HERRN getan hatte an dem Wort des HERRN, das er nicht hielt; auch daß er die Wahrsagerin fragte{~}

13. Así murió Saul por su rebelión con que se rebeló contra Jehová, contra la palabra de Jehová, la cual no guardó; y porque consultó al pitón preguntando;

13 Так умер Саул за свое беззаконие, которое он сделал пред Господом, за то, что не соблюл слова Господня и обратился к волшебнице с вопросом,

14. mutta ei ollut kysynyt neuvoa Herralta. Sentähden Herra surmasi hänet ja siirsi kuninkuuden Daavidille, Iisain pojalle.

14. Ja ei kysynyt Herralta; sentähden tappoi hän hänen, ja käänsi valtakunnan Davidille Isain pojalle.

14 and did not inquire of Jehovah. Therefore he killed him and turned the kingdom to David the son of Jesse.

14. And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

14. und fragte den HERRN nicht, darum tötete er ihn und wandte das Reich zu David, dem Sohn Isais.

14. Y no consultó a Jehová; por esta causa le mató, y traspasó el reino a David, hijo de Isaí.

14 а не взыскал Господа. За то Он и умертвил его, и передал царство Давиду, сыну Иессееву.
