2. Ja Saulin pojalla oli partiojoukkojen päämiehinä kaksi miestä, toisen nimi oli Baana ja toisen Reekab, beerotilaisen Rimmonin poikia, benjaminilaisia; sillä Beerotkin luetaan kuuluvaksi Benjaminiin.

2 У Иевосфея , сына Саулова, два было предводителя войска; имя одного – Баана и имя другого – Рихав, сыновья Реммона Беерофянина, из потомков Вениаминовых, ибо и Беероф причислялся к Вениамину.

4 У Ионафана, сына Саулова, был сын хромой. Пять лет было ему, когда пришло известие о Сауле и Ионафане из Изрееля, и нянька, взяв его,побежала. И когда она бежала поспешно, то он упал, и сделался хромым. Имя его Мемфивосфей.

5. Beerotilaisen Rimmonin pojat Reekab ja Baana lähtivät matkaan ja tulivat päivän ollessa palavimmillaan Iisbosetin taloon, kun hän oli puolipäivälevollansa.

5 И пошли сыны Реммона Беерофянина, Рихав и Баана, и пришли в самый жар дня к дому Иевосфея; а он спал на постели в полдень.

6 Рихав и Баана, брат его, вошли внутрь дома, как бы для того, чтобы взять пшеницы; и поразили его в живот и убежали.

8. And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

8. und brachten das Haupt Is-Boseths zu David gen Hebron und sprachen zum König: Siehe, da ist das Haupt Is-Boseths, Sauls Sohnes, deines Feindes, der nach deiner Seele stand; der HERR hat heute meinen Herrn, den König, gerächt an Saul und an seinem Samen.

8. Y trajeron la cabeza de Is-boset a David en Hebrón, y dijeron al rey: He aquí la cabeza de Is-boset, hijo de Saul, tu enemigo, que procuraba matarte: y Jehová ha vengado hoy a mi señor el rey de Saul, y de su simiente.

8 и принесли голову Иевосфея к Давиду в Хеврон и сказали царю: вот голова Иевосфея, сына Саула, врага твоего, который искал души твоей; ныне Господь отмстил за господина моего царя Саулу и потомству его.

9. Niin Daavid vastasi Reekabille ja hänen veljellensä Baanalle, beerotilaisen Rimmonin pojille, ja sanoi heille: Niin totta kuin Herra elää, joka on vapahtanut minut kaikesta hädästä:

9 And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite and said to them, As Jehovah lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,

9. Da antwortete ihnen David: So wahr der HERR lebt, der meine Seele aus aller Trübsal erlöst hat,

9. Y David respondió a Recab y a Baana su hermano, hijos de Remmón Berotita, y díjoles: Vive Jehová, que ha redimido mi alma de toda angustia,

9 И отвечал Давид Рихаву и Баане, брату его, сыновьям РеммонаБеерофянина, и сказал им: жив Господь, избавивший душу мою от всякой скорби!

10. sen, joka ilmoitti minulle ja sanoi: 'Katso, Saul on kuollut', luullen tuovansa ilosanoman, minä otatin kiinni ja surmautin Siklagissa antaakseni hänelle sanansaattajan palkan;

10. ich griff den, der mir verkündigte und sprach: Saul ist tot! und meinte, er wäre ein guter Bote, und erwürgte ihn zu Ziklag, dem ich sollte Botenlohn geben.

10 если того, кто принес мне известие, сказав: „вот, умер Саул", и кто считал себя радостным вестником, я схватили убил его в Секелаге, вместо того, чтобы дать ему награду,

11. eikö minun paljoa enemmän nyt, kun jumalattomat miehet ovat murhanneet syyttömän miehen hänen omassa kodissaan, hänen vuoteeseensa, ole vaadittava hänen verensä teidän kädestänne ja hävitettävä teidät maan päältä?

11 How much more, when evil men have slain a righteous man in his own house upon his bed, shall I not now require his blood of your* hand and take you* away from the earth?

11. Und diese gottlosen Leute haben einen gerechten Mann in seinem Hause auf seinem Lager erwürgt. Ja, sollte ich das Blut nicht fordern von euren Händen und euch von der Erde tun?

11. ¿Cuánto más a los malos hombres, que mataron a un hombre justo en su casa, y sobre su cama? Ahora pues, ¿no tengo yo de demandar su sangre de vuestras manos, y quitaros de la tierra?

11 то теперь, когда негодные люди убили человека невинного в его доме на постели его, неужели я не взыщу крови его от руки вашей и не истреблю вас с земли?

12 And David commanded his young men and they killed them and cut off their hands and their feet and hanged them up beside the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth and buried it in the grave of Abner in Hebron.

12. Und David gebot seinen Jünglingen; die erwürgten sie und hieben ihre Hände und Füße ab und hingen sie auf am Teich zu Hebron. Aber das Haupt Is-Boseths nahmen sie und begruben's in Abners Grab zu Hebron.

12. Entónces David mandó a los mancebos, y ellos los mataron, y cortáronles las manos y los piés, y colgáronlos sobre el estanque en Hebrón. Y tomaron la cabeza de Is-boset, y la enterraron en el sepulcro de Abner en Hebrón.

12 И приказал Давид слугам, и убили их, и отрубили им руки и ноги, и повесили их над прудом в Хевроне. А голову Иевосфея взяли и погребли во гробе Авенира, в Хевроне.
