Absalom tekee kapinan. Daavid poistuu Jerusalemista.

1. Mutta sitten tapahtui, että Absalom hankki itsellensä vaunut ja hevoset sekä viisikymmentä miestä, jotka juoksivat hänen edellänsä.

2 And Absalom rose up early and stood beside the way of the gate. And it was so, that, when any man had a suit which should come to the king for judgment, then Absalom called to him and said, Of what city are you? And he said, Your servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.

3. sanoi Absalom hänelle: Asiasi on kyllä hyvä ja oikea, mutta kuninkaan luona ei ole ketään, joka sinua kuulisi.

3 And Absalom said to him, See, your matters are good and right, but there is no man appointed by the king to hear you.

4. Ja Absalom sanoi vielä: Jospa minut asetettaisiin tuomariksi maahan! Silloin tulisi minun eteeni jokainen, jolla on riita- tai oikeusasia, ja minä antaisin hänelle oikeuden.

4 Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man who has any suit or case might come to me and I would do for him justice!

4. Und Absalom sprach: O, wer setzt mich zum Richter im Lande, daß jedermann zu mir käme, der eine Sache und Gerichtshandel hat, daß ich ihm hülfe!

4. Y decía Absalom: ¡Quién me pusiese, por juez en la tierra, para que viniesen a mí todos los que tienen pleito, o negocio, que yo les haría justicia!

4 И говорил Авессалом: о, если бы меня поставили судьею в этой земле! комне приходил бы всякий, кто имеет спор и тяжбу, и я судил бы его по правде.

5 And it was so, that, when any man came near to do him bowed-down, he put forth his hand and took hold of him and kissed him.

5. Y acontecía que, cuando alguno se llegaba para inclinarse a él, él extendía la mano, y le tomaba, y le besaba.

5 И когда подходил кто-нибудь поклониться ему, то он простирал рукусвою и обнимал его и целовал его.

6. Näin Absalom teki kaikille israelilaisille, jotka tulivat kuninkaan eteen saamaan oikeutta. Ja niin Absalom varasti Israelin miesten sydämet.

6 And on this manner Absalom did to all Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

6. Auf diese Weise tat Absalom dem ganzen Israel, wenn sie kamen vor Gericht zum König, und stahl also das Herz der Männer Israels.

6. Y de esta manera hacía con todo Israel que venía al rey a juicio: y así hurtaba Absalom el corazón de los de Israel.

6 Так поступал Авессалом со всяким Израильтянином, приходившим на суд к царю, и вкрадывался Авессалом в сердце Израильтян.

7. Neljän vuoden kuluttua sanoi Absalom kerran kuninkaalle: Salli minun mennä Hebroniin täyttämään lupaus, jonka olen Herralle tehnyt.

7 And it happened at the end of forty years, that Absalom said to the king, I beseech you, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed to Jehovah, in Hebron.

7 По прошествии сорока лет царствования Давида , Авессалом сказал царю: пойду я и исполню обет мой, который я дал Господу, в Хевроне;

8. Sillä asuessani Gesurissa, Aramissa, sinun palvelijasi teki lupauksen ja sanoi: 'Jos Herra antaa minun tulla takaisin Jerusalemiin, niin minä palvelen Herraa.'

8 For your servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If Jehovah will indeed bring me again to Jerusalem, then I will serve Jehovah.

8. Denn dein Knecht tat ein Gelübde, da ich zu Gessur in Syrien wohnte, und sprach: Wenn mich der HERR wieder gen Jerusalem bringt, so will ich dem HERRN einen Gottesdienst tun.

8. Porque tu siervo hizo voto cuando estaba en Gessur en Siria, diciendo: Si Jehová me volviere a Jerusalem, yo serviré a Jehová.

8 ибо я, раб твой, живя в Гессуре в Сирии, дал обет: если Господь возвратит меня в Иерусалим, то я принесу жертву Господу.

9. Kuningas sanoi hänelle: Mene rauhassa. Niin hän nousi ja meni Hebroniin.

9 And the king said to him, Go in peace. So he arose and went to Hebron.

9. Der König sprach: Gehe hin mit Frieden. Und er machte sich auf und ging gen Hebron.

9. Y el rey le dijo: Vé en paz. Y él se levantó, y se fué a Hebrón.

9 И сказал ему царь: иди с миром. И встал он и пошел в Хеврон.

10. Mutta Absalom lähetti vakoojia kaikkiin Israelin sukukuntiin ja sanoi: Kun kuulette pasunan äänen, niin sanokaa: 'Absalom on tullut kuninkaaksi Hebronissa'.

10 But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as you* hear the sound of the trumpet, then you* will say, Absalom is king in Hebron.

10. Absalom aber hatte Kundschafter ausgesandt in alle Stämme Israels und lassen sagen: Wenn ihr der Posaune Schall hören werdet, so sprecht: Absalom ist König geworden zu Hebron.

10. Y envió Absalom espías por todas las tribus de Israel, diciendo: Cuando oyereis el son de la trompeta, diréis: Absalom reina en Hebrón.

10 И разослал Авессалом лазутчиков во все колена Израилевы, сказав: когда вы услышите звук трубы, то говорите: Авессалом воцарился в Хевроне.

11. Ja Absalomin kanssa oli Jerusalemista kutsuvieraina mennyt kaksisataa miestä, jotka menivät sinne aivan viattomina, tietämättä mitään koko asiasta.

11. Mutta Absalomin kanssa meni kaksisataa miestä Jerusalemista, jotka olivat kutsutut; mutta ne menivät yksinkertaisuudessansa, eikä mitään asiasta tietäneet.

11 And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem who were invited and went in their simplicity. And they did not know anything.

11 С Авессаломом пошли из Иерусалима двести человек, которые были приглашены им, и пошли по простоте своей, не зная, в чем дело.

12. Ja Absalom lähetti myös, sillä aikaa kun uhrasi teurasuhrejaan, noutamaan giilolaisen Ahitofelin, Daavidin neuvonantajan, hänen kaupungistaan Giilosta. Ja salaliitto vahvistui, ja yhä enemmän kansaa meni Absalomin puolelle.

12. Ja Absalom lähetti myös Ahitophelin Gilonilaisen, Davidin neuvonantajan, perään hänen kaupungistansa Gilosta, kuin hän uhria uhrasi; niin tehtiin juuri vahva liitto, ja paljo kansaa lisääntyi ja eneni Absalomin tykö.

12 And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong, for the people increased continually with Absalom.

12. Absalom aber sandte auch nach Ahithophel, dem Giloniten, Davids Rat, aus seiner Stadt Gilo. Da er nun die Opfer tat, ward der Bund stark, und das Volk lief zu und mehrte sich mit Absalom.

12. También envió Absalom por Aquitofel Gilonita, del consejo de David, a Gilo su ciudad, cuando hacía sus sacrificios, y fué hecha una grande conjuración, y el pueblo se iba aumentando con Absalom.

12 Во время жертвоприношения Авессалом послал и призвал Ахитофела Гилонянина, советника Давидова, из его города Гило. И составился сильный заговор, и народ стекался и умножался около Авессалома.

13. Niin tultiin Daavidin luo ja ilmoitettiin: Israelin miesten sydämet ovat kääntyneet Absalomin puolelle.

13 И пришел вестник к Давиду и сказал: сердце Израильтян уклонилось на сторону Авессалома.

14. Silloin Daavid sanoi kaikille palvelijoillensa, jotka olivat hänen luonaan Jerusalemissa: Nouskaa, paetkaamme, sillä meillä ei ole muuta pelastusta Absalomin käsistä. Lähtekää kiiruusti, ettei hän äkkiä saavuttaisi meitä ja saattaisi onnettomuutta meille ja surmaisi kaupungin asukkaita miekan terällä.

14. 14 And David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, Arise and let us flee, for otherwise none of us will escape from Absalom. Make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly and bring down evil upon us and kill* the city with the edge of the sword.

14. David sprach aber zu allen seinen Knechten, die bei ihm waren zu Jerusalem: Auf, laßt uns fliehen! denn hier wird kein entrinnen sein vor Absalom; eilet, daß wir gehen, daß er uns nicht übereile und ergreife uns und treibe ein Unglück auf uns und schlage die Stadt mit der Schärfe des Schwerts.

14. Entónces David dijo a todos sus siervos, que estaban con él en Jerusalem: Levantáos, y huyamos, porque no podremos escapar delante de Absalom. Dáos priesa a andar, porque apresurándose él no nos tome, y eche sobre nosotros mal, y hiera la ciudad a filo de espada.

14 И сказал Давид всем слугам своим, которые были при нем в Иерусалиме: встаньте, убежим, ибо не будет нам спасения от Авессалома; спешите, чтобы нам уйти, чтоб он не застиг и не захватил нас, и не навел на нас беды и не истребил города мечом.

15. Kuninkaan palvelijat vastasivat kuninkaalle: Tehtäköön aivan niinkuin herrani, kuningas, harkitsee parhaaksi. Me olemme sinun palvelijoitasi.

15 And the king's servants said to the king, Behold, your servants are ready to do whatever my lord the king will choose.

15. And the king's servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.

15. Da sprachen die Knechte des Königs zu ihm: Was mein Herr, der König, erwählt, siehe, hier sind deine Knechte.

15. Y los siervos del rey dijeron al rey: He aquí, tus siervos están prestos a todo lo que nuestro señor el rey eligiere.

15 И сказали слуги царские царю: во всем, что угодно господину нашему царю, мы – рабы твои.

16. Ja kuningas lähti, ja koko hänen hovinsa seurasi häntä; kuitenkin jätti kuningas kymmenen sivuvaimoaan jäljelle vartioimaan linnaa.

16. Ja kuningas kävi jalkaisin ulos kaiken huoneensa kanssa; mutta hän jätti kymmenen jalkavaimoa huoneita vartioitsemaan.

16 And the king went forth and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, who were concubines, to keep the house.

16. El rey entónces salió con toda su casa a pié: y dejó el rey diez mujeres concubinas, para que guardasen la casa.

16 И вышел царь и весь дом его за ним пешком. Оставил же царь десять жен, наложниц своих , для хранения дома.

17. Niin kuningas lähti, ja kaikki väki seurasi häntä. He pysähtyivät kaukaisimman talon kohdalle

17 And the king went forth and all the people after him and they remained in the distant house {Beth-merhak}.

17 И вышел царь и весь народ пешие, и остановились у Беф-Мерхата.

18. kaikkien hänen palvelijainsa kulkiessa hänen ohitsensa. Myös kaikki kreetit ja pleetit sekä kaikki gatilaiset, kuusisataa miestä, jotka olivat tulleet hänen jäljessään Gatista, kulkivat kuninkaan ohitse.

18 And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites and all the Pelethites and all the Gittites, six hundred men who came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.

18 И все слуги его шли по сторонам его, и все Хелефеи, и все Фелефеи, и все Гефяне дошестисот человек, пришедшие вместе с ним из Гефа, шли впереди царя.

19. Niin kuningas sanoi gatilaiselle Ittaille: Miksi sinäkin tulet meidän kanssamme? Käänny takaisin ja jää kuninkaan luo, sillä sinä olet vieras, vieläpä maanpaossa kotoasi.

19. Ja kuningas sanoi Ittaille Gatilaiselle: miksi sinä myös tulet meidän kanssamme? Palaja ja ole kuninkaan tykönä; sillä sinä olet muukalainen, ja olet tänne tullut sinun sialtas.

19 Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, Why do you also go with us? Return and abide with the king, for you are a foreigner and also an exile. (Return) to your own place.

19. Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile.

19. Und der König sprach zu Itthai, dem Gathiter: Warum gehst du auch mit uns? Kehre um und bleibe bei dem König; denn du bist hier fremd und von deinem Ort gezogen hierher.

19. Y dijo el rey a Etai Geteo: ¿Para qué vienes tú también con nosotros? Vuélvete y quédate con el rey: porque tú eres extranjero, y desterrado también tú de tu lugar.

19 И сказал царь Еффею Гефянину: зачем и ты идешь с нами? Возвратись и оставайся с тем царем; ибо ты – чужеземец и пришел сюда из своего места;

20. Eilen sinä tulit; ottaisinko minä jo tänä päivänä sinut harhailemaan meidän kanssamme matkallamme, kun minä itsekin menen, minne menenkin? Käänny takaisin ja vie veljesi mukanasi. Armo ja uskollisuus sinulle!

20. Sillä eilen sinä tulit, ja minun pitäis tänäpänä antaman sinun käydä meidän kanssamme; mutta minä menen, kuhunka minä menen: palaja sinä ja vie sinun veljes myötäs. Sinun kanssas tapahtukoon armo ja vakuus!

20 вчера ты пришел, а сегодня я заставлю тебя идти с нами? Я иду, куда случится; возвратись и возврати братьев своих с собою; милость и истину с тобою !

21. Mutta Ittai vastasi kuninkaalle ja sanoi: Niin totta kuin Herra elää, ja niin totta kuin herrani, kuningas, elää: missä paikassa herrani, kuningas, on, siellä tahtoo myös palvelijasi olla, olkoonpa se elämäksi tai kuolemaksi.

21. Ittai vastasi kuningasta ja sanoi: niin totta kuin Herra elää, ja niin totta kuin minun herrani kuningas elää, kussa ikänä herrani kuningas on, olisi se kuolemassa eli elämässä, siellä pitää myös sinun palvelias oleman.

21 And Ittai answered the king and said, As Jehovah lives and as my lord the king lives, surely in what place my lord the king will be, whether for death or for life, even there your servant will also be.

21. And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be.

21. Itthai antwortete und sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt, und so wahr mein König lebt, an welchem Ort mein Herr, der König, sein wird, es gerate zum Tod oder zum Leben, da wird dein Knecht auch sein.

21. Y Etai respondió al rey, diciendo: Vive Dios, y vive mi señor el rey, que, o para muerte, o para vida, donde mi señor el rey estuviere, allí estará también tu siervo.

21 И отвечал Еффей царю и сказал: жив Господь, и да живет господин мой царь: где бы ни был господин мой царь, в жизни ли, в смерти ли, там будет и рабтвой.

22. Daavid sanoi Ittaille: Tule sitten ja kulje minun ohitseni. Niin gatilainen Ittai kulki ohitse ja kaikki hänen miehensä ja kaikki vaimot ja lapset, jotka olivat hänen kanssaan.

22 И сказал Давид Еффею: итак иди и ходи со мною. И пошел Еффей Гефянин и все люди его и все дети, бывшие с ним.

23. Ja koko maa itki ääneen, kun kaikki väki kulki ohitse. Ja kun kuningas oli kulkemassa Kidronin laakson poikki, kaiken väen kulkiessa erämaan tielle päin,

23 And all the country wept with a loud voice and all the people passed over. The king himself also passed over the brook Kidron and all the people passed over toward the way of the wilderness.

23. Und das ganze Land weinte mit lauter Stimme, und alles Volk ging mit. Und der König ging über den Bach Kidron, und alles Volk ging vor auf dem Wege, der zur Wüste geht.

23. Y toda la tierra lloró a alta voz: y pasó todo el pueblo el arroyo de Cedrón, y después pasó el rey, y todo el pueblo pasó al camino que va al desierto.

23 И плакала вся земля громким голосом. И весь народ переходил, и царь перешел поток Кедрон; и пошел весь народ по дороге к пустыне.

24. niin katso, siinä oli myös Saadok ynnä hänen kanssaan kaikki leeviläiset, jotka kantoivat Jumalan liitonarkkia. Mutta he laskivat Jumalan arkin maahan, ja Ebjatar uhrasi, kunnes kaikki väki kaupungista oli ehtinyt kulkea ohitse.

24. Und siehe, Zadok war auch da und alle Leviten, die bei ihm waren, und trugen die Lade des Bundes und stellten sie dahin. Und Abjathar trat empor, bis daß alles Volk zur Stadt hinauskam.

24. Y he aquí también Sadoc y todos los Levitas con él, que llevaban el arca del concierto de Dios; y asentaron el arca del concierto de Dios. Y subió Abiatar hasta que todo el pueblo hubo acabado de salir de la ciudad.

24 Вот и Садок, и все левиты с ним несли ковчег завета Божия из Вефары и поставили ковчег Божий; Авиафар же стоял на возвышении, доколе весь народ не вышел из города.

25. Niin kuningas sanoi Saadokille: Vie Jumalan arkki takaisin kaupunkiin. Jos minä saan armon Herran silmien edessä, tuo hän minut takaisin ja antaa minun vielä nähdä hänet ja hänen asumuksensa.

25 And the king said to Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city. If I will find favor in the eyes of Jehovah he will bring me again and show me both it and his habitation.

25. And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:

25. Aber der König sprach zu Zadok: Bringe die Lade Gottes wieder in die Stadt. Werde ich Gnade finden vor dem HERRN, so wird er mich wieder holen und wird mich sie sehen lassen und sein Haus.

25. Y dijo el rey a Sadoc: Vuelve el arca de Dios a la ciudad: que si yo hallare gracia en los ojos de Jehová, él me volverá, y me hará ver a ella y a su tabernáculo.

25 И сказал царь Садоку: возврати ковчег Божий в город. Если я обрету милость пред очами Господа, то Он возвратит меня и даст мне видеть его и жилище его.

26. Mutta jos hän sanoo näin: 'Minä en ole mielistynyt sinuun', niin katso, hän tehköön minulle, minkä hyväksi näkee.

26. Mutta jos hän niin sanoo: et sinä ole minulle otollinen! katso, tässä minä olen: hän tehköön minulle, mitä hän tahtoo!

26 But if he says thus, I have no delight in you, behold, here I am. Let him do to me as seems good to him.

26. But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.

26. Spricht er aber also: Ich habe nicht Lust zu dir, siehe, hier bin ich. Er mache es mit mir, wie es ihm wohl gefällt.

26 А если Он скажет так: „нет Моего благоволения к тебе", то вот я; пусть творит со мною, что Ему благоугодно.

27 The king said also to Zadok the priest, Are you (not) a seer? Return into the city in peace and your* two sons with you*, Ahimaaz your son and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

27. The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

27. Und der König sprach zu dem Priester Zadok: O du Seher, kehre um wieder in die Stadt mit Frieden und mit euch eure beiden Söhne, Ahimaaz, dein Sohn, und Jonathan, der Sohn Abjathars!

27. Y dijo el rey a Sadoc, sacerdote: ¿No eres tú el vidente? Vuélvete en paz a la ciudad: y estén con vosotros vuestros dos hijos, Aquimaas tu hijo, y Jonatán, hijo de Abiatar.

27 И сказал царь Садоку священнику: видишь ли, – возвратись в город с миром, и Ахимаас, сын твой, и Ионафан, сын Авиафара, оба сына ваши с вами;

28. Katsokaa, minä viivyn kahlauspaikoissa erämaassa, kunnes teiltä tulee sana minun tiedokseni.

28 See, I will remain at the fords of the wilderness until there comes word from you* to report to me.

28. Siehe ich will verziehen auf dem blachen Felde in der Wüste, bis daß Botschaft von euch komme, und sage mir an.

28 видите ли, я помедлю на равнине в пустыне, доколе не придет известие от вас ко мне.

29. Niin Saadok ja Ebjatar veivät Jumalan arkin takaisin Jerusalemiin ja jäivät sinne.

29 Therefore Zadok and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem and they abode there.

30 And David went up by the ascent of the (Mount of) Olives and wept as he went up and he had his head covered and went barefoot. And all the people who were with him covered every man his head and they went up, weeping as they went up.

30. And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

30. David aber ging den Ölberg hinan und weinte, und sein Haupt war verhüllt, und er ging barfuß. Dazu alles Volk, das bei ihm war, hatte ein jeglicher sein Haupt verhüllt und gingen hinan und weinten.

30. Y David subió la cuesta de las olivas, subiendo y llorando; llevando cubierta la cabeza, y los piés descalzos. Y todo el pueblo que tenía consigo cubrió cada uno su cabeza, y subieron, subiendo y llorando.

30 А Давид пошел на гору Елеонскую, шел и плакал; голова у него была покрыта; он шел босой, и все люди, бывшие с ним, покрыли каждый голову свою, шли и плакали.

31. Ja kun Daavidille kerrottiin, että myös Ahitofel oli salaliittolaisten joukossa Absalomin puolella, sanoi Daavid: Herra, käännä Ahitofelin neuvo hulluudeksi.

31 And it was told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Jehovah, I beseech you, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

31. And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

31. Und da es David angesagt ward, daß Ahithophel im Bund mit Absalom war, sprach er: HERR, mache den Ratschlag Ahithophels zur Narrheit!

31. Y dieron aviso a David, diciendo: Aquitofel también está con los que conspiraron con Absalom. Entónces David dijo: Enloquece ahora, oh Jehová, el consejo de Aquitofel.

31 Донесли Давиду и сказали: и Ахитофел в числе заговорщиков с Авессаломом. И сказал Давид: Господи! разрушь совет Ахитофела.

32. Kun sitten Daavid oli tullut vuoren laelle, jossa Jumalaa rukoiltiin, tuli arkilainen Huusai häntä vastaan, ihokas reväistynä ja multaa pään päällä.

32. Ja kuin David tuli kukkulalle, kussa Jumalaa rukoiltiin, katso, Husai Arkilainen kohtasi häntä reväistyllä hameella, ja multaa hänen päänsä päällä.

32 And it happened, that, when David came to the top (of the ascent), where God was worshiped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat torn and dirt upon his head.

32. And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:

32. Und da David auf die Höhe kam, da man Gott pflegt anzubeten, siehe, da begegnete ihm Husai, der Arachiter, mit zerrissenem Rock und Erde auf seinem Haupt.

32. Y como David llegó a la cumbre para adorar allí a Dios, he aquí Cusai Araquita, que le salió al encuentro trayendo desgarrada su ropa, y tierra sobre su cabeza.

32 Когда Давид взошел на вершину горы, где он поклонялся Богу, вот навстречу ему идет Хусий Архитянин, друг Давидов; одежда на нем была разодрана, и прах на голове его.

33. Daavid sanoi hänelle: Jos sinä tulet minun kanssani, niin olet minulle vain kuormaksi.

33 And David said to him, If you pass on with me, then you will be a burden to me,

33. Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me:

33. Und David sprach zu ihm: Wenn du mit mir gehst, wirst du mir eine Last sein.

33. Y díjole David: Si pasares conmigo, serme has carga:

33 И сказал ему Давид: если ты пойдешь со мною, то будешь мне в тягость;

34 but if you return to the city and say to Absalom, I will be your servant, O king. As I have been your father's servant in time past, so I will now be your servant, then you will defeat for me the counsel of Ahithophel.

34. But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

34. Wenn du aber wieder in die Stadt gingest und sprächest zu Absalom: Ich bin dein Knecht, ich will des Königs sein; der ich deines Vaters Knecht war zu der Zeit, will nun dein Knecht sein: So würdest du mir zugut den Ratschlag Ahithophels zunichte machen.

34. Mas si volvieres a la ciudad, y dijeres a Absalom: rey, yo seré tu siervo: como hasta ahora he sido siervo de tu padre, así seré ahora tu siervo; tú me disiparás el consejo de Aquitofel.

34 но если возвратишься в город и скажешь Авессалому: „царь, я раб твой;доселе я был рабом отца твоего, а теперь я – твой раб": то ты расстроишь для меня совет Ахитофела.

35. Siellähän ovat sinun kanssasi myöskin papit, Saadok ja Ebjatar; kaikki, mitä kuulet kuninkaan linnasta, ilmoita papeille, Saadokille ja Ebjatarille.

35. Eikö Zadok ja AbJatar papit ole sinun kanssas? Ja kaikki, mitäs kuulet kuninkaan huoneessa, ilmoita papeille Zadokille ja AbJatarille.

35 And have you not there with you Zadok and Abiathar the priests? Therefore it will be, that whatever thing you will hear out of the king's house, you will tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

35. And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

35. Auch sind Zadok und Abjathar, die Priester, mit dir. Alles, was du hörst aus des Königs Haus, würdest du ansagen den Priestern Zadok und Abjathar.

35. ¿No estarán allí contigo Sadoc y Abiatar sacerdotes? Por tanto todo lo que oyeres en casa del rey, darás aviso de ello a Sadoc y a Abiatar sacerdotes.

35 Вот, там с тобою Садок и Авиафар священники, и всякое слово, какое услышишь из домацаря, пересказывай Садоку и Авиафару священникам.

36. Katso, heillä on siellä mukanaan myös molemmat poikansa, Saadokilla Ahimaas ja Ebjatarilla Joonatan; näiden kautta voitte lähettää minulle tiedon kaikesta, mitä kuulette.

36 Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz, Zadok's son and Jonathan, Abiathar's son. And you* will send by them to me everything that you* will hear.
