Seban kapina. Jooab murhaa Amasan. Seban kuolema. Daavidin virkamiehet.

1. Ja siellä oli sattumalta kelvoton mies, nimeltä Seba, Bikrin poika, benjaminilainen. Hän puhalsi pasunaan ja sanoi: Meillä ei ole mitään osaa Daavidiin eikä perintöosaa Iisain poikaan. Kukin majallensa, Israel!

1 And there happened to be there a worthless fellow whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite. And he blew the trumpet and said, We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse. Every man to his tents, O Israel.

1. And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

1. Es traf sich aber, daß daselbst ein heilloser Mann war, der hieß Seba, ein Sohn Bichris, ein Benjaminiter; der blies die Posaune und sprach: Wir haben keinen Teil an David noch Erbe am Sohn Isais. Ein jeglicher hebe sich zu seiner Hütte, o Israel!

1. A CASO estaba allí un hombre perverso que se llamaba Seba, hijo de Bocri, varón de Jemini; este tocó corneta, diciendo: No tenemos nosotros parte en David, ni heredad en el hijo de Isaí: Israel vuélvase cada uno a sus estancias.

1 Там случайно находился один негодный человек, по имени Савей, сын Бихри, Вениамитянин; он затрубил трубою и сказал: нет намчасти в Давиде, и нет нам доли в сыне Иессеевом; все по шатрам своим, Израильтяне!

2. Silloin kaikki Israelin miehet luopuivat Daavidista ja seurasivat Sebaa, Bikrin poikaa; mutta Juudan miehet riippuivat kiinni kuninkaassansa ja seurasivat häntä Jordanilta aina Jerusalemiin.

2. Silloin jokainen Israelissa luopui Davidista, ja seurasivat Sebaa Bikrin poikaa. Mutta Juudan miehet riippuivat kuninkaassansa Jordanista Jerusalemiin asti.

2 So all the men of Israel went up from following David and followed Sheba the son of Bichri, but the men of Judah clung to their king, from the Jordan even to Jerusalem.

2. So every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.

2. Da fiel von David jedermann in Israel, und sie folgten Seba, dem Sohn Bichris. Aber die Männer Juda's hingen an ihrem König vom Jordan an bis gen Jerusalem.

2. Así se fueron de en pos de David todos los varones de Israel, y seguían a Seba, hijo de Bocri; mas los que eran de Judá estuvieron llegados a su rey, desde el Jordán hasta Jerusalem.

2 И отделились все Израильтяне от Давида и пошли за Савеем,сыном Бихри; Иудеи же остались на стороне царя своего, от Иордана до Иерусалима.

3. Niin Daavid tuli linnaansa Jerusalemiin. Ja kuningas otti ne kymmenen sivuvaimoa, jotka hän oli jättänyt palatsia vartioimaan, ja panetti heidät vartioituun taloon; ja hän elätti heitä, mutta ei mennyt heidän luoksensa. Siellä he olivat eristettyinä kuolinpäiväänsä asti, elävän miehen leskinä.

3 And David came to his house at Jerusalem. And the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house and put them in confinement and provided them with sustenance, but did not go in to them. So they were shut up to the day of their death, living in widowhood.

3. Da aber der König David heimkam gen Jerusalem, nahm er die zehn Kebsweiber, die er hatte zurückgelassen, das Haus zu bewahren, und tat sie in eine Verwahrung und versorgte sie; aber er ging nicht zu ihnen ein. Und sie waren also verschlossen bis an ihren Tod und lebten als Witwen.

3. Y David vino a su casa a Jerusalem: y tomó el rey las diez mujeres concubinas que había dejado para guardar la casa, y púsolas en una casa en guarda, y dióles de comer, y nunca más entró a ellas, y quedaron encerradas hasta que murieron, en viudez de vida.

3 И пришел Давид в свой дом в Иерусалиме, и взял царь десять жен наложниц, которых он оставлял стеречь дом, и поместил их в особый дом под надзор, и содержал их, но не ходил к ним. И содержались они там до дня смерти своей, живя как вдовы.

4. Ja kuningas sanoi Amasalle: Kutsu koolle Juudan miehet kolmen päivän kuluessa ja ole silloin itse paikallasi täällä.

4 Then the king said to Amasa, Call the men of Judah together to me within three days and be here present.

4. Und der König sprach zu Amasa: Berufe mir alle Männer in Juda auf den dritten Tag, und du sollst auch hier stehen!

4 И сказал Давид Амессаю: созови ко мне Иудеев в течение трех дней и сам явись сюда.

5. Niin Amasa meni kutsumaan koolle Juudaa; mutta hän viipyi ohi sen ajan, jonka hän oli määrännyt.

5 So Amasa went to call (the men of) Judah together, but he delayed longer than the set time which he had appointed him.

5. So Amasa went to assemble the men of Judah: but he tarried longer than the set time which he had appointed him.

5. Und Amasa ging hin, Juda zu berufen; aber er verzog die Zeit, die er ihm bestimmt hatte.

5. Y fué Amasa a juntar a Judá, y detúvose más que el tiempo, que le había sido señalado.

5 И пошел Амессай созвать Иудеев, но промедлил более назначенного ему времени.

6. Silloin sanoi Daavid Abisaille: Nyt Seba, Bikrin poika, tekee meille enemmän pahaa kuin Absalom. Ota sinä herrasi palvelijat ja aja häntä takaa, ettei hän saisi haltuunsa varustettuja kaupunkeja ja repisi meiltä silmiä.

6 And David said to Abishai, Now will Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom. You take your lord's servants and pursue after him, lest he get him fortified cities and escape out of our sight.

6. And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities, and escape us.

6. Da sprach David zu Abisai: Nun wird uns Seba, der Sohn Bichris, mehr Leides tun denn Absalom. Nimm du die Knechte deines Herrn und jage ihm nach, daß er nicht etwa für sich feste Städte finde und entrinne aus unsern Augen.

6. Y dijo David a Abisaí: Seba, hijo de Bocri, nos hará ahora más mal que Absalom: toma pues tú los siervos de tu señor, y vé tras él, porque él no halle las ciudades fortificadas, y se nos vaya de delante.

6 Тогда Давид сказал Авессе: теперь наделает нам зла Савей, сын Бихри, больше нежели Авессалом; возьми ты слуг господина твоегои преследуй его, чтобы он не нашел себе укрепленных городов и не скрылся от глаз наших.

7. Niin Jooabin miehet sekä kreetit ja pleetit ja kaikki urhot lähtivät liikkeelle hänen jäljessään; he lähtivät Jerusalemista ajamaan takaa Sebaa, Bikrin poikaa.

7 And there went out after him Joab's men and the Cherethites and the Pelethites and all the mighty men. And they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

7. And there went out after him Joab's men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

7. Da zogen aus, ihm nach, die Männer Joabs, dazu die Krether und Plether und alle Starken. Sie zogen aber aus von Jerusalem, nachzujagen Seba, dem Sohn Bichris.

7. Entónces salieron en pos de él los varones de Joab, y los Cereteos, y Feleteos, y todos los valientes hombres salieron de Jerusalem para ir tras Seba, hijo de Bocri.

7 И вышли за ним люди Иоавовы, и Хелефеи и Фелефеи, и все храбрыепошли из Иерусалима преследовать Савея, сына Бихри.

8. Mutta kun he olivat suuren kiven luona, joka on Gibeonissa, tuli Amasa heitä vastaan. Ja Jooab oli puettu takkiinsa, ja sen päällä oli miekanvyö, kiinnitettynä vyötäisille; miekka oli tupessaan, mutta kun hän lähti liikkeelle, niin se putosi.

8 When they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa came to meet them. And Joab was girded with his apparel of war that he had put on and on it was a belt with a sword fastened upon his loins in the sheath of it. And as he went forth it fell out.

8. Da sie aber bei dem großen Stein waren zu Gibeon, kam Amasa vor ihnen her. Joab aber war gegürtet über seinem Kleide, das er anhatte, und hatte darüber ein Schwert gegürtet, das hing in seiner Hüfte in der Scheide; das ging gerne aus und ein.

8. Ellos estaban cerca de la grande peña, que está en Gabaón, y Amasa les salió al encuentro. Y Joab estaba ceñido sobre su ropa que tenía vestida, sobre la cual tenía ceñida una espada pegada a sus lomos en su vaina, la cual salió, y cayó.

8 И когда они были близ большого камня, что у Гаваона, то встретился с ними Амессай. Иоавбыл одет в воинское одеяние свое и препоясан мечом, который висел при бедре в ножнах и который легко выходил из них и входил.

9. Ja Jooab sanoi Amasalle: Voitko hyvin, veljeni? Ja Jooab tarttui oikealla kädellään Amasaa partaan, muka suudellakseen häntä.

9 And Joab said to Amasa, Is it well with you, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

9. Und Joab sprach zu Amasa: Friede sei mit dir, mein Bruder! Und Joab faßte mit seiner rechten Hand Amasa bei dem Bart, daß er ihn küßte.

9. Y Joab dijo a Amasa: ¿Tienes paz hermano mío? Y tomó Joab con la diestra la barba de Amasa para besarle:

9 И сказал Иоав Амессаю: здоров ли ты, брат мой? И взял Иоав правою рукою Амессая за бороду, чтобы поцеловать его.

10. Ja kun Amasa ei varonut miekkaa, joka Jooabilla oli kädessään, pisti tämä häntä sillä vatsaan, niin että hänen sisälmyksensä valuivat maahan; toista pistoa ei tarvittu: hän kuoli. Sitten Jooab ja hänen veljensä Abisai ajoivat takaa Sebaa, Bikrin poikaa.

10. Mutta ei Amasa ottanut vaaria miekasta joka oli Joabin kädessä: ja hän pisti sillä häntä vatsaan ja vuodatti hänen sisällyksensä maalle, eikä häntä enää pistänyt, ja hän kuoli. Mutta Joab ja hänen vejensä Abisai ajoivat Sebaa Bikrin poikaa takaa.

10 But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab's hand. So he killed* him with it in the body and shed out his guts to the ground and struck him not again and he died. And Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.

10. But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab's hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth rib, and shed out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.

10. Und Amasa hatte nicht acht auf das Schwert in der Hand Joabs; und er stach ihn damit in den Bauch, daß sein Eingeweide sich auf die Erde schüttete, und gab ihm keinen Stich mehr und er starb. Joab aber und sein Bruder Abisai jagten nach Seba, dem Sohn Bichris.

10. Y Amasa no se guardó de la espada que Joab tenía en la mano: y él le hirió con la espada en la quinta costilla, y derramó sus entrañas por tierra, y cayó muerto sin darle segundo golpe. Y Joab y Abisaí su hermano fueron tras Seba, hijo de Bocri.

10 Амессай же не остерегся меча, бывшего в руке Иоава, и тот поразил его им в живот, так что выпали внутренности его на землю, и не повторил ему удара , и он умер. Иоав и Авесса, брат его, погнались за Савеем, сыном Бихри.

11. Mutta eräs Jooabin palvelijoista jäi seisomaan Amasan ääreen ja huusi: Jokainen, joka on Jooabille myötämielinen ja joka on Daavidin puolella, seuratkoon Jooabia!

11 And there stood by him one of Joab's young men and said, He who favors Joab and he who is for David, let him follow Joab.

11. And one of Joab's men stood by him, and said, He that favoureth Joab, and he that is for David, let him go after Joab.

11. Und es trat ein Mann von den Leuten Joabs neben ihn und sprach: Wer's mit Joab hält und für David ist, der folge Joab nach!

11. Y uno de los criados de Joab se paró junto a él, diciendo: Cualquiera que amare a Joab y a David, vaya tras de Joab.

11 Один из отроков Иоавовых стоял над Амессаем и говорил: тот, кто предан Иоаву и кто за Давида, пусть идет за Иоавом!

12. Ja Amasa virui verissään keskellä tietä; mutta kun se mies näki, että kaikki väki pysähtyi siihen, vei hän Amasan tieltä syrjään pellolle ja heitti vaatteen hänen päällensä, nähdessään, että kaikki ohikulkijat pysähtyivät.

12. Mutta Amasa makasi tahrattuna veressä keskellä tietä. Kuin yksi näki sen, että kaikki kansa seisahti, siirsi hän Amasan tieltä kedolle ja heitti vaatteen hänen päällensä; sillä hän näki, että jokainen joka hänen tykönsä tuli, seisahti siihen.

12 And Amasa lay wallowing in his blood in the midst of the highway. And when the man saw that all the men stood still, he carried Amasa out of the highway into the field and cast a garment over him, when he saw that everyone who came by him stood still.

12. And Amasa wallowed in blood in the midst of the highway. And when the man saw that all the people stood still, he removed Amasa out of the highway into the field, and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that every one that came by him stood still.

12. Amasa aber lag im Blut gewälzt mitten auf der Straße. Da aber der Mann sah, daß alles Volk da stehenblieb, wandte er Amasa von der Straße auf den Acker und warf Kleider auf ihn, weil er sah, daß, wer an ihn kam, stehenblieb.

12. Y Amasa se había revolcado en la sangre en mitad del camino; y viendo aquel hombre que todo el pueblo se paraba, apartó a Amasa del camino al campo, y echó sobre él una vestidura, porque veía que todos los que venían, se paraban junto a él.

12 Амессай же лежал в крови среди дороги; и тот человек, увидев, что весь народ останавливается над ним, стащил Амессая с дороги в поле инабросил на него одежду, так как он видел, что всякий проходящий останавливался над ним.

13. Ja kun hänet oli toimitettu pois tieltä, kulkivat kaikki ohi ja seurasivat Jooabia ajaakseen takaa Sebaa, Bikrin poikaa.

13. Kuin hän oli tieltä siirretty, meni jokainen Joabin jälkeen, ajamaan Sebaa Bikrin poikaa takaa.

13 When he was removed out of the highway, all the men went on after Joab to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

13. Da er nun aus der Straße getan war, folgte jedermann Joab nach, Seba, dem Sohn Bichris, nachzujagen.

13. Y estando él ya apartado del camino, todos los que seguían a Joab pasaron, yendo tras Seba, hijo de Bocri.

13 Но когда он был стащен с дороги, то весь народ Израильский пошел вслед за Иоавом преследовать Савея, сына Бихри.

14. Tämä kulki kaikkien Israelin sukukuntien kautta Aabeliin ja Beet-Maakaan, ja kaikki beeriläiset kokoontuivat ja seurasivat häntä sinne saakka.

14. Ja hän vaelsi kaikki Israelin sukukunnat lävitse Abelaan ja BetMaakaan ja koko Berimiin, ja ne kokoontuivat ja seurasivat myös häntä.

14 And he went through all the tribes of Israel to Abel and to Beth-maacah and all the Berites. And they were gathered together and also went after him.

14. And he went through all the tribes of Israel unto Abel, and to Bethmaachah, and all the Berites: and they were gathered together, and went also after him.

14. Und er zog durch alle Stämme Israels gen Abel und Beth-Maacha und ganz Haberim; und versammelten sich und folgten ihm nach

14. Y él pasó por todas las tribus de Israel hasta Abel, y Bet-maaca, y todo Barim: y juntáronse, y siguiéronle también.

14 А он прошел чрез все колена Израильские до Авела-Беф-Мааха и чрез весь Берим; и жители собирались и шли за ним.

15. Mutta he tulivat ja piirittivät häntä Aabel-Beet-Maakassa ja loivat kaupunkia vastaan vallin, joka ulottui ulkomuuriin. Ja kaikki Jooabin väki teki hävitystyötä kukistaakseen muurin.

15. Mutta kuin he tulivat, niin he piirittivät hänen Abelassa BetMaakan tykönä, ja rakensivat vallin kaupungin ympärille, joka seisoi muurin tasalla. Mutta kaikki kansa, joka Joabin myötä oli, karkasi muuria kukistamaan.

15 And they came and besieged him in Abel of Beth-maacah and they cast up a mound against the city and it stood against the rampart. And all the men who were with Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.

15. und kamen und belagerten ihn zu Abel-Beth-Maacha und schütteten einen Wall gegen die Stadt hin, daß er bis an die Vormauer langte; und alles Volk, das mit Joab war, stürmte und wollte die Mauer niederwerfen.

15. Y vinieron, y cercáronle en Abel y Bet-maaca, y pusieron baluarte contra la ciudad, y el pueblo se puso al muro: y todo el pueblo que estaba con Joab trabajaba de trastornar el muro.

15 И пришли и осадили его в Авеле-Беф-Маахе; и насыпали вал пред городом и подступили к стене, и все люди, бывшие с Иоавом, старалисьразрушить стену.

16. Silloin huusi viisas vaimo kaupungista: Kuulkaa! Kuulkaa! Sanokaa Jooabille, että hän tulee tänne lähelle puhutellakseni häntä.

16. Niin toimellinen vaimo huusi kaupungista: kuulkaat, kuulkaat! sanokaat Joabille, että hän tulee tänne lähes, minä puhuttelen häntä.

16 Then a wise woman out of the city cried out, Hear, hear. Say, I beseech you*, to Joab, Come near here, that I may speak with you.

16. Then cried a wise woman out of the city, Hear, hear; say, I pray you, unto Joab, Come near hither, that I may speak with thee.

16. Da rief eine weise Frau aus der Stadt: Hört! hört! Sprecht zu Joab, daß er hierher komme; ich will mit ihm reden.

16. Entónces una mujer sábia dió voces de la ciudad, diciendo: Oid, oid: ruégoos que digáis a Joab que se llegue acá, para que yo hable con él.

16 Тогда одна умная женщина закричала со стены города: послушайте, послушайте, скажите Иоаву, чтоб он подошел сюда, и я поговорю с ним.

17. Ja kun tämä tuli häntä lähelle, sanoi vaimo: Oletko Jooab? Hän vastasi: Olen. Vaimo sanoi hänelle: Kuule palvelijattaresi sanoja. Hän vastasi: Minä kuulen.

17 And he came near to her and the woman said, Are you Joab? And he answered, I am. Then she said to him, Hear the words of your handmaid. And he answered, I do hear.

17. And when he was come near unto her, the woman said, Art thou Joab? And he answered, I am he. Then she said unto him, Hear the words of thine handmaid. And he answered, I do hear.

17. Und da er zu ihr kam, sprach die Frau: Bist du Joab? Er sprach: Ja. Sie sprach zu ihm: Höre die Rede deiner Magd. Er sprach: Ich höre.

17. Y como él se acercó a ella, dijo la mujer: ¿Eres tú Joab? Y él respondió: Yo soy. Y ella le dijo: Oye las palabras de tu sierva. Y él respondió: Oigo.

17 И подошел к ней Иоав, и сказала женщина: ты ли Иоав? И сказал: я. Онасказала: послушай слов рабы твоей. И сказал он: слушаю.

18. Silloin vaimo sanoi: Muinoin oli tapana sanoa: 'On kysyttävä neuvoa Aabelista', ja niin tuli valmista.

18. Ja hän puhui, sanoen: muinoin sanottiin: joka kysellä tahtoo,hän kysykään Abelassa, ja niin se menestyi.

18 Then she spoke, saying, They were accustomed to speak in old time, saying, They will surely ask (counsel) at Abel and so they ended (the matter).

18. Then she spake, saying, They were wont to speak in old time, saying, They shall surely ask counsel at Abel: and so they ended the matter.

18. Sie sprach: Vorzeiten sprach man: Wer fragen will, der frage zu Abel; und so ging's wohl aus.

18 Она сказала: прежде говаривали: „кто хочет спросить, спроси в Авеле"; и так решали дело.

19. Minä olen rauhallisimpia ja uskollisimpia Israelissa, ja sinä koetat ottaa hengen kaupungilta, joka on äiti Israelissa. Miksi sinä tahdot hävittää Herran perintöosan?

19 I am of those who are peaceable and faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city and a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up the inheritance of Jehovah?

19. I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?

19. Ich bin eine von den friedsamen und treuen Städten in Israel; und du willst die Stadt und Mutter in Israel töten? Warum willst du das Erbteil des HERRN verschlingen?

19. Yo soy de las pacíficas y fieles de Israel, y tú procuras de matar una ciudad, que es madre en Israel. ¿Por qué destruyes la heredad de Jehová?

19 Я из мирных, верных городов Израиля; а ты хочешь уничтожить город, и притом мать городов в Израиле; для чего тебе разрушать наследие Господне?

20. Jooab vastasi ja sanoi: Pois se, pois se! En minä tahdo hävittää enkä tuhota.

20 И отвечал Иоав и сказал: да не будет этого от меня, чтобы я уничтожил или разрушил!

21. Niin ei ole asia, vaan eräs mies Efraimin vuoristosta, nimeltä Seba, Bikrin poika, on nostanut kätensä kuningas Daavidia vastaan; luovuttakaa hänet yksin, niin minä lähden pois kaupungin edustalta. Vaimo vastasi Jooabille: Katso, hänen päänsä heitetään sinulle muurin yli.

21 The matter is not so, but a man of the hill-country of Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, has lifted up his hand against the king, even against David. Deliver him only and I will depart from the city. And the woman said to Joab, Behold, his head will be thrown to you over the wall.

21. sondern ein Mann vom Gebirge Ephraim mit Namen Seba, der Sohn Bichris, hat sich empört wider den König David. Gebt ihn allein her, so will ich von der Stadt ziehen. Die Frau aber sprach zu Joab: Siehe, sein Haupt soll zu dir über die Mauer geworfen werden.

22. Sitten vaimo viisaudessaan meni kaiken kansan luo; niin he löivät Sebalta, Bikrin pojalta, pään poikki ja heittivät sen Jooabille. Silloin tämä puhalsi pasunaan, ja he hajaantuivat kaupungin edustalta, kukin majallensa. Mutta Jooab palasi kuninkaan luo Jerusalemiin.

22. Ja vaimo tuli kaiken kansan tykö toimellansa. Ja he hakkasivat Seban Bikrin pojan pään pois ja heittivät Joabille. Ja hän soitti basunalla, ja he hajosivat kaikki kaupungin tyköä itsekukin majoihinsa; mutta Joab palasi Jerusalemiin kuninkaan tykö.

22 Then the woman went to all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it out to Joab. And he blew the trumpet and they were dispersed from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.

22. Und die Frau kam hinein zu allem Volk mit ihrer Weisheit. Und sie hieben Seba, dem Sohn Bichris, den Kopf ab und warfen ihn zu Joab. Da blies er die Posaune, und sie zerstreuten sich von der Stadt, ein jeglicher in seine Hütte. Joab aber kam wieder gen Jerusalem zum König.

22. Y la mujer vino a todo el pueblo con su sabiduría, y ellos cortaron la cabeza a Seba, hijo de Bocri, y echáronla a Joab: y él tocó la corneta, y esparciéronse todos de la ciudad, cada uno a su estancia: y Joab se volvió al rey a Jerusalem.

22 И пошла женщина по всему народу со своим умным словом; и отсекли голову Савею, сыну Бихри, и бросили Иоаву. Тогда Иоав затрубил трубою, и разошлись от города все люди по своим шатрам; Иоав же возвратился в Иерусалим к царю.

23. Jooab oli Israelin koko sotajoukon ylipäällikkönä, ja Benaja, Joojadan poika, oli kreettien ja pleettien päällikkönä.
