Gibeonilaisten juoni.

1. Kun kaikki kuninkaat, jotka asuivat tällä puolella Jordanin, Vuoristossa, Alankomaassa ja pitkin Suuren meren koko rannikkoa Libanoniin päin, heettiläiset, amorilaiset, kanaanilaiset, perissiläiset, hivviläiset ja jebusilaiset, kuulivat, mitä oli tapahtunut,

1. Ja kuin kaikki kuninkaat sen kuulivat, jotka sillä puolella Jordania olivat vuorilla ja laaksoissa ja kaikissa ison meren satamissa, Libanonin vuoren kohdalla: Hetiläiset, ja Amorilaiset, Kanaanilaiset, Pheresiläiset, Heviläiset ja Jebusilaiset,

1. COsca caicki Cuningat jotca sillä puolen Jordanit olit wuorilla ja laxois isoin meren satamis ja jotca olit Libanonin wuoren tykönä nimittäin Hetherit Amorrerit Cananerit Phereserit Hewerit ja Jebuserit nämät cuulit:

1 And it happened, when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill-country and in the lowland and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon — the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite — heard of it,

1. And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

1. Da nun das hörten alle Könige, die jenseit des Jordans waren auf den Gebirgen und in den Gründen und an allen Anfurten des großen Meers, auch die neben dem Berge Libanon waren, nämlich die Hethiter, Amoriter, Kanaaniter, Pheresiter, Heviter und Jebusiter,

1. Y ACONTECIÓ que como oye- ron estas cosas todos los reyes que estaban de esta parte del Jordán, así en las montañas como en los llanos, y en toda la costa de la gran mar delante del Líbano, los Jetteos, Amorreos, Cananeos, Ferezeos, Heveos, y Jebuseos,

1 Услышав сие, все цари, которые за Иорданом, на горе и на равнине и по всему берегу великого моря, близ Ливана, Хеттеи, Аморреи, Хананеи, Ферезеи, Евеи и Иевусеи,

2. niin he kokoontuivat yhteen sotiakseen yksimielisesti Joosuaa ja Israelia vastaan.

2. Juntáronse a una de un acuerdo para pelear contra Josué e Israel.

2 собрались вместе, дабы единодушно сразиться с Иисусом и Израилем.

3. Mutta kun Gibeonin asukkaat kuulivat, mitä Joosua oli tehnyt Jerikolle ja Aille,

3 But when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and to Ai,

3. Aber die Bürger zu Gibeon, da sie hörten, was Josua mit Jericho und Ai gemacht hatte, erdachten sie eine List,

3. Mas los moradores de Gabaón, como oyeron lo que Josué había hecho a Jericó y a Hai;

3 Но жители Гаваона, услышав, что Иисус сделал с Иерихоном и Гаем,

4. niin hekin menettelivät viekkaasti: he menivät ja tekeytyivät lähettiläiksi, ottivat kuluneita säkkejä aasiensa selkään sekä kuluneita, repeytyneitä ja kiinnisolmeiltuja viinileilejä

4. Niin ajattelivat he petoksen, menivät ja teeskelivät itsensä sanansaatajiksi, ja ottivat vanhat säkit aaseinsa päälle, ja vanhat kuluneet ja ravistuneet viinaleilit,

4 they also worked shrewdly and went and made as if they had been ambassadors and took old sacks upon their donkeys and wine-skins, old and torn and bound up,

4. gingen hin und versahen sich mit Speise und nahmen alte Säcke auf ihre Esel.

4. Ellos usaron también de astucia; y fueron, y fingiéronse embajadores, y tomaron sacos viejos sobre sus asnos, y cueros viejos de vino rotos y remendados;

4 употребили хитрость: пошли, запаслись хлебом на дорогу и положили ветхие мешки на ослов своих и ветхие, изорванные и заплатанные мехи вина;

5. ja panivat kuluneet, paikatut kengät jalkaansa ja kuluneet vaatteet päällensä; ja kaikki heidän eväsleipänsä olivat kuivia ja murentuneita.

5 and old and patched shoes upon their feet and old garments upon them and all the bread of their provision was dry and became moldy.

5. And old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their provision was dry and mouldy.

5. und alte, zerrissene, geflickte Weinschläuche und alte, geflickte Schuhe an ihre Füße und zogen alte Kleider an, und alles Brot, das sie nahmen, war hart und schimmlig.

5. Y zapatos viejos y remendados en sus piés, y vestidos viejos sobre sí: y todo el pan que traían para el camino, seco y mohoso.

5 и обувь на ногах их была ветхая с заплатами, и одежда на них ветхая; и весь дорожный хлеб их был сухой и заплесневелый.

6. Niin he menivät Joosuan luo Gilgalin leiriin ja sanoivat hänelle sekä Israelin miehille: Me olemme tulleet kaukaisesta maasta; tehkää siis liitto meidän kanssamme.

6. Ja menivät leiriin Josuan tykö Gilgaliin ja sanoivat hänelle ja kaikelle Israelille: me olemme kaukaiselta maalta tulleet, tehkäät nyt liitto meidän kanssamme.

6. Ja menit leirijn Josuan tygö Gilgalijn ja sanoit hänelle ja caikelle Israelille:

6 And they went to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal and said to him and to the men of Israel, We have come from a far country, now therefore make you* a covenant with us.

6. And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.

6. Und gingen zu Josua ins Lager gen Gilgal und sprachen zu ihm und zum ganzen Israel: Wir kommen aus fernen Landen; so macht einen Bund mit uns.

6. Y vinieron a Josué al campo en Galgala, y dijéronle a él y a los de Israel: Nosotros venimos de tierra muy lejana, hacéd pues ahora con nosotros alianza.

6 Они пришли к Иисусу в стан Израильский в Галгал и сказали ему и всем Израильтянам: из весьма дальней земли пришли мы; итак заключите с нами союз.

7. Mutta Israelin miehet vastasivat hivviläisille: Kenties te asutte täällä meidän keskellämme; kuinka me tekisimme liiton teidän kanssanne?

7. Niin sanoi koko Israel Heviläisille, mitämaks sinä asut meidän seassamme, kuinka me teemme liiton sinun kanssas?

7 And the men of Israel said to the Hivites, Perhaps you* dwell among us and how will we make a covenant with you*?

7. And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

7. Da sprach das ganze Israel zu dem Heviter: Vielleicht möchtest du unter uns wohnend werden; wie könnte ich dann einen Bund mit dir machen?

7. Y los de Israel respondieron a los Heveos: Quizá vosotros habitáis en medio de nosotros: ¿cómo pues podremos nosotros hacer alianza con vosotros?

7 Израильтяне же сказали Евеям: может быть, вы живете близ нас? как нам заключить с вами союз?

8. Niin he sanoivat Joosualle: Me olemme sinun palvelijoitasi. Joosua sanoi heille: Keitä te olette ja mistä tulette?

8. He sanoivat Josualle: me olemme sinun palvelias. Ja Josua sanoi heille: kutka te olette ja kusta te tulette?

8. He sanoit Josualle: me olemme sinun palwelias. Josua sanoi heille: cutca te oletta ja custa te tuletta?

8 And they said to Joshua, We are your servants. And Joshua said to them, Who are you* and from where do you* come?

8. And they said unto Joshua, We are thy servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who are ye? and from whence come ye?

8. Sie aber sprachen zu Josua: Wir sind deine Knechte. Josua sprach zu ihnen: Was seid ihr, und woher kommt ihr?

8. Y ellos respondieron a Josué: Nosotros somos tus siervos. Y Josué les dijo: ¿Quién sois vosotros; y de donde venís?

8 Они сказали Иисусу: мы рабы твои. Иисус же сказал им: кто вы и откуда пришли?

9. Niin he vastasivat hänelle: Palvelijasi tulevat hyvin kaukaisesta maasta Herran, sinun Jumalasi, nimen tähden. Sillä me olemme kuulleet hänestä kaiken, mitä hän teki Egyptissä,

9. He sanoivat hänelle: palvelias ovat sangen kaukaiselta maalta tulleet Herran sinun Jumalas nimen tähden; sillä me olemme kuulleet hänen sanomansa ja kaikki mitä hän Egyptissä on tehnyt,

9. He sanoit hänelle: sinun palwelias owat sangen caucaiselda maalda tullet sinun HERras Jumalas nimen tähden: sillä me olem cuullet hänen sanomans ja caicki mitä hän Egyptis on tehnyt.

9 And they said to him, From a very far country. Your servants have come because of the name of Jehovah your God, for we have heard the fame of him and all that he did in Egypt,

9. And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

9. Sie sprachen: Deine Knechte sind aus sehr fernen Landen gekommen um des Namens willen des HERRN, deines Gottes; denn wir haben sein Gerücht gehört und alles, was er in Ägypten getan hat,

9. Y ellos respondieron: Tus siervos han venido de muy lejanas tierras por la fama de Jehová tu Dios, porque hemos oido su fama, y todas las cosas que hizo en Egipto:

9 Они сказали ему: из весьма дальней земли пришли рабы твои во имя Господа Бога твоего; ибо мы слышали славу Его и все, что сделал Он в Египте,

10. ja kaiken, mitä hän teki niille kahdelle amorilaisten kuninkaalle, jotka asuivat tuolla puolella Jordanin, Siihonille, Hesbonin kuninkaalle, ja Oogille, Baasanin kuninkaalle, joka asui Astarotissa.

10. Ja kaikki mitä hän on tehnyt kahdelle Amorilaisten kuninkaalle, jotka olivat sillä puolella Jordania: Sihonille Hesbonin kuninkaalle ja Ogille Basanin kuninkaalle, joka asui Astarotissa;

10. Ja caicki mitä hän sillä puolen Jordanin cahdelle Amorrerein Cuningalle on tehnyt Sihonille Hesbonin Cuningalle ja Oggille Basanin Cuningalle jotca asuit Astarothis.

10 and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon and to Og king of Bashan, who was at Ashtaroth.

10. And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.

10. und alles, was er den zwei Königen der Amoriter jenseit des Jordans getan hat: Sihon, dem König zu Hesbon, und Og, dem König von Basan, der zu Astharoth wohnte.

10. Y todas las cosas que hizo a los dos reyes de los Amorreos, que estaban de la otra parte del Jordán: a Sejón rey de Jesebón, y a Og rey de Basán, que estaban en Astarot.

10 и все, что Он сделал двум царям Аморрейским, которые по ту сторону Иордана, Сигону, царю Есевонскому, и Огу, царю Васанскому, который жил в Астарофе.

11. Sentähden sanoivat meille meidän vanhimpamme ja kaikki maamme asukkaat näin: 'Ottakaa evästä mukaanne matkalle ja menkää heitä vastaan ja sanokaa heille: Me olemme teidän palvelijanne, tehkää siis liitto meidän kanssamme.'

11. Sentähden sanoivat meille meidän vanhimmat ja kaikki meidän maan asuvaiset: ottakaat evästä myötänne, ja menkäät heitä vastaan ja sanokaat heille: me olemme teidän palvelianne, tehkäät liitto kanssamme.

11. Sentähden sanoit meille meidän wanhimmat ja caicki maan asuwaiset: ottacat ewästä teidän myötän ja mengät heitä wastan ja sanocat heille: me olem teidän palwelian tähkät lijtto meidän cansam.

11 And our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, Take provision in your* hand for the journey and go to meet them and say to them, We are your* servants and now make you* a covenant with us.

11. Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.

11. Darum sprachen unsere Ältesten und alle Einwohner unsers Landes: Nehmt Speise mit euch auf die Reise und geht hin, ihnen entgegen, und sprecht zu ihnen: Wir sind eure Knechte. So macht nun einen Bund mit uns.

11. Por lo cual nuestros ancianos y todos los moradores de nuestra tierra nos dijeron: Tomád en vuestras manos provisión para el camino, e id delante de ellos, y decídles: Nosotros somos vuestros siervos, y hacéd ahora con nosotros alianza:

11 Слыша сие , старейшины наши и все жители нашей земли сказали нам: возьмите в руки ваши хлеба на дорогу и пойдите навстречу им и скажите им: „мы рабы ваши; итак заключите с нами союз".

12. Tämä leipämme oli vielä lämmintä, kun kotoa otimme sen evääksi lähtiessämme matkalle teidän luoksenne, ja katso, nyt se on kuivaa ja murentunutta.

12. Tämä leipämme, jonka me myötämme evääksi otimme kotoamme, oli vielä tuore, kuin me läksimme tulemaan teidän tykönne, mutta katso, tämä on nyt kova ja homehtunut.

12 This our bread we took hot for our provision out of our houses on the day we came out to go to you*, but now, behold, it is dry and has become moldy.

12. Dies unser Brot, das wir aus unsern Häusern zu unsrer Speise nahmen, war noch frisch, da wir auszogen zu euch, nun aber, siehe, es ist hart und schimmlig;

12. Este nuestro pan tomámos caliente de nuestras casas para el camino el día que salimos para venir a vosotros; y hélo aquí, ahora que está seco y mohoso:

12 Этот хлеб наш из домов наших мы взяли теплый в тот день, когда пошли к вам, а теперь вот, он сделался сухой и заплесневелый;

13. Ja nämä viinileilit, jotka uusina täytimme, ovat nyt repeytyneitä; ja nämä vaatteemme ja kenkämme ovat kovin pitkällä matkalla kuluneet.

13. Ja nämät viinaleilit me täytimme uusina, ja katso, ne ovat kuluneet, ja nämät vaatteemme ja kenkämme ovat vanhaksi tulleet, aivan pitkän matkan tähden.

13. Ja nämät wijnaleilit me täytimme utena ja cadzo ne owat culunet ja nämät meidän waattem ja kengäm owat wanhaxi tullet pitkän matcan tähden.

13 And these wine-skins, which we filled, were new, and behold, they are torn. And these our garments and our shoes have become old by reason of the very long journey.

13. And these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and these our garments and our shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey.

13. und diese Weinschläuche füllten wir neu, und siehe, sie sind zerrissen; und diese unsre Kleider und Schuhe sind alt geworden über der sehr langen Reise.

13. Estos cueros de vino también los henchimos nuevos; hélos aquí: ya rotos: también estos nuestros vestidos y nuestros zapatos están ya viejos a causa de la grande longura del camino.

13 и эти мехи с вином, которые мы налили новые, вот, изорвались; и эта одежда наша и обувь наша обветшала от весьма дальней дороги.

14. Niin miehet ottivat heidän evästänsä, mutta eivät kysyneet Herran mieltä.

14. Niin ottivat päämiehet heidän eväästänsä ja ei kysyneet Heran suuta.

14. Nijn otit päämiehet heidän ewästäns ja ei kysynet HERran suulle.

14 And the men took of their provision and did not ask counsel at the mouth of Jehovah.

14. And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.

14. Da nahmen die Hauptleute ihre Speise an und fragten den Mund des HERRN nicht.

14. Y los hombres de Israel tomaron de su provisión del camino, y no preguntaron a la boca de Jehová.

14 Израильтяне взяли их хлеба, а Господа не вопросили.

15. Niin Joosua takasi heille rauhan ja teki heidän kanssaan liiton, luvaten jättää heidät henkiin; ja kansan päämiehet vannoivat heille valan.

15. Ja Josua teki rauhan heidän kanssansa ja teki liiton heidän kanssansa, että he saisivat elää; ja kansan päämiehet vannoivat heille.

15. Ja Josua teki rauhan heidän cansans ja teki lijton heidän cansans että he saisit elä ja päämiehet Canssan seas wannoit heille.

15 And Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them to let them live and the rulers of the congregation swore to them.

15. And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

15. Und Josua machte Frieden mit ihnen und richtete einen Bund mit ihnen auf, daß sie leben bleiben sollten. Und die Obersten der Gemeinde schwuren ihnen.

15. E hizo Josué paz con ellos, y trató con ellos alianza que les daría la vida. Y los príncipes del pueblo les juraron.

15 И заключил Иисус с ними мир и постановил с ними условие в том, что он сохранит им жизнь; и поклялись им начальники общества.

16. Mutta kolmen päivän kuluttua, sen jälkeen kuin liitto heidän kanssaan oli tehty, saatiin kuulla, että he olivat lähiseuduilta ja asuivat heidän keskellänsä.

16. Mutta kolmen päivän jälkeen, sitte kuin he tekivät liiton heidän kanssansa, kuulivat he, että he olivat läsnä heitä ja asuivat heidän keskellänsä.

16 And it happened at the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, that they heard that they were their neighbors and that they dwelt among them.

16. And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.

16. Aber über drei Tage, nachdem sie mit ihnen einen Bund gemacht hatten, kam es vor sie, daß jene nahe bei ihnen waren und würden unter ihnen wohnen.

16. Pasados tres dias después que hicieron con ellos el concierto, oyeron como eran sus vecinos, y que habitaban en medio de ellos.

16 А чрез три дня, как заключили они с ними союз, услышали, что они соседи их и живут близ них;

17. Niin israelilaiset lähtivät liikkeelle ja tulivat kolmantena päivänä heidän kaupunkeihinsa; ja heidän kaupunkinsa olivat Gibeon, Kefira, Beerot ja Kirjat-Jearim.

17. Kuin Israelin lapset matkustivat, tulivat he kolmantena päivänä heidän kaupunkeihinsa, jotka kutsutaan Gibeon, Kephira, Beerot ja KirjatJearim.

17. Cosca Israelin lapset menit edes tulit he colmandena päiwänä heidän Caupungeins jotca cudzutan Gibeon Caphira Beeroth ja KiriatJearim.

17 And the sons of Israel journeyed and came to their cities on the third day. Now their cities (were) Gibeon and Chephirah and Beeroth and Kiriath-jearim.

17. And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.

17. Denn da die Kinder Israel fortzogen, kamen sie des dritten Tages zu ihren Städten, die hießen Gibeon, Kaphira, Beeroth und Kirjath-Jearim,

17. Y partiéronse los hijos de Israel, y al tercero día llegaron a sus ciudades: y sus ciudades eran Gabaón, Cafira, Berot, y Cariatjarim.

17 ибо сыны Израилевы, отправившись в путь, пришли в города их на третий день; города же их были : Гаваон, Кефира, Беероф и Кириаф-Иарим.

18. Mutta israelilaiset eivät surmanneet heitä, sillä kansan päämiehet olivat vannoneet heille valan Herran, Israelin Jumalan, kautta. Ja koko seurakunta napisi päämiehiä vastaan.

18. Ja ei Israelin lapset lyöneet heitä; sillä kansan päämiehet olivat vannoneet heille Herran Israelin Jumalan kautta. Ja kaikki kansa napisi päämiehiä vastaan.

18. Ja ei lyönet heitä: sillä ylimmäiset Canssan seas olit wannonet heille HERran Israelin Jumalan cautta. Ja silloin caicki Canssa napisit päämiehiä wastan.

18 And the sons of Israel did not kill* them, because the rulers of the congregation had sworn to them by Jehovah, the God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the rulers.

18. And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.

18. und schlugen sie nicht, darum daß ihnen die Obersten der Gemeinde geschworen hatten bei dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels. Da aber die ganze Gemeinde wider die Obersten murrte,

18. Y no los hirieron los hijos de Israel, por cuanto los príncipes del pueblo les habían jurado por Jehová el Dios de Israel: y toda la congregación murmuraba contra los príncipes.

18 сыны Израилевы не побили их, потому что начальники общества клялись им Господом Богом Израилевым. За это все общество Израилево возроптало на начальников.

19. Silloin kaikki päämiehet sanoivat koko seurakunnalle: Me olemme vannoneet heille valan Herran, Israelin Jumalan, kautta; sentähden me emme voi koskea heihin.

19. Niin sanoivat kaikki kansan päämiehet kaikelle joukolle: me olemme vannoneet heille Herran Israelin Jumalan kautta, ja sentähden emme heihin taida ruveta.

19. Nijn sanoit caicki ylimmäiset Canssan seas: me olem wannonet heille HERran Israelin Jumalan cautta ja sentähden en me heihin rupe.

19 But all the rulers said to all the congregation, We have sworn to them by Jehovah, the God of Israel, now therefore we may not touch them.

19. But all the princes said unto all the congregation, We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: now therefore we may not touch them.

19. sprachen alle Obersten zu der ganzen Gemeinde: Wir haben ihnen geschworen bei dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels; darum können wir sie nicht antasten.

19. Mas todos los príncipes respondieron a toda la congregación: Nosotros les hemos jurado por Jehová Dios de Israel: por tanto ahora no les podemos tocar.

19 Все начальники сказали всему обществу: мы клялись им Господом Богом Израилевым и потому не можем коснуться их;

20. Mutta tämän me teemme heille, jättäessämme heidät henkiin, ettei viha kohtaisi meitä valan tähden, jonka olemme heille vannoneet.

20 This we will do to them and let them live, lest wrath be upon us because of the oath which we swore to them.

20. Aber das wollen wir tun: laßt sie leben, daß nicht ein Zorn über uns komme um des Eides willen, den wir ihnen getan haben.

20. Empero esto haremos con ellos: dejarlos hemos vivir, porque no venga ira sobre nosotros a causa del juramento que les hemos hecho.

20 а вот что сделаем с ними: оставим их в живых, чтобы не постиг нас гнев за клятву, которою мы клялись им.

21. Ja päämiehet sanoivat heistä: Jääkööt henkiin, mutta tulkoon heistä halonhakkaajia ja vedenkantajia kaikelle kansalle. Näin päämiehet antoivat käskyn heistä.

21. Ja päämiehet sanoivat heille: antakaamme heidän elää, että he olisivat halkoin hakkaajat ja veden kantajat kaikelle kansalle, niinkuin päämiehet heille sanoneet ovat.

21. Ja päämiehet sanoit heille: andacam heidän elä että he olisit halcoin hackajat ja weden candajat caikelle Canssalle nijncuin päämiehet heille sanonet owat.

21 And the rulers said to them, Let them live. So they became hewers of wood and drawers of water to all the congregation, as the rulers had spoken to them.

21. And the princes said unto them, Let them live; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them.

21. Und die Obersten sprachen zu ihnen: Laßt sie leben, daß sie Holzhauer und Wasserträger seien der ganzen Gemeinde, wie ihnen die Obersten gesagt haben.

21. Y los príncipes les dijeron: Vivan; mas sean leñadores y aguadores para toda la congregación, como los príncipes les han dicho.

21 И сказали им начальники: пусть они живут, но будут рубить дрова и черпать воду для всего общества. И сделало все общество так, как сказали им начальники.

22. Silloin Joosua kutsui heidät ja puhui heille sanoen: Miksi olette pettäneet meidät ja sanoneet: 'Me asumme hyvin kaukana teistä', vaikka asutte täällä meidän keskellämme?

22. Niin Josua kutsui heitä ja puhui heille, ja sanoi: miksi te olette pettäneet meidät ja sanoneet: me asumme aivan kaukana teistä; ja kuitenkin te asutte meidän seassamme?

22. NIin Josua cudzui heitä ja puhui heille ja sanoi: mixi te olette pettänet meidän ja sanonet teidän asuwan caucana meistä ja cuitengin te asutte meidän seasam?

22 And Joshua called for them and he spoke to them, saying, Why have you* beguiled us, saying, We are very far from you*, when you* dwell among us?

22. And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We are very far from you; when ye dwell among us?

22. Da rief sie Josua und redete mit ihnen und sprach: Warum habt ihr uns betrogen und gesagt, ihr seid sehr ferne von uns, so ihr doch unter uns wohnet?

22. Y llamándoles Josué les habló, diciendo: ¿Por qué nos habéis engañado, diciendo: Muy léjos habitamos de vosotros, morando en medio de nosotros?

22 Иисус призвал их и сказал: для чего вы обманули нас, сказав: „мы весьма далеко от вас", тогда как вы живете близ нас?

23. Sentähden olkaa kirotut! Älköön ikinä ketään teistä päästettäkö olemasta minun Jumalani huoneen palvelijana, halonhakkaajana ja vedenkantajana.

23. Sentähden pitää teidän kirotut oleman, niin ettei teiltä pidä orjat puuttuman, jotka halkoja hakkaaman ja vettä kantaman pitää minun Jumalani huoneeseen.

23. Sentähden pitä teidän kirotut oleman nijn että te alat oletta orjana jotca halcoja hackaman ja wettä candaman pitä minun Jumalani huoneseen.

23 Now therefore you* are cursed and there will never fail to be bondmen of you*, both hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.

23. Now therefore ye are cursed, and there shall none of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.

23. Darum sollt ihr verflucht sein, daß unter euch nicht aufhören Knechte, die Holz hauen und Wasser tragen zum Hause meines Gottes.

23. Vosotros pues ahora seréis malditos, y no faltará de vosotros siervo, y quien corte la leña, y saque el agua para la casa de mi Dios.

23 за это прокляты вы! без конца вы будете рабами, будете рубить дрова и черпать воду для дома Бога моего!

24. He vastasivat Joosualle ja sanoivat: Sinun palvelijoillesi oli kerrottu, että Herra, sinun Jumalasi, oli käskenyt palvelijaansa Moosesta antamaan teille koko tämän maan ja tuhoamaan kaikki maan asukkaat teidän tieltänne. Sentähden me suuresti pelkäsimme henkeämme teidän edessänne ja teimme tämän.

24. He vastasivat Josuaa ja sanoivat: se on todella sanottu sinun palvelioilles, että Herra sinun Jumalas on käskenyt palveliansa Moseksen antaa teille kaiken tämän maan ja hävittää teidän edestänne kaikki maan asuvaiset; niin me suuresti pelkäsimme henkeämme teidän edessänne ja teimme tämän.

24. He wastaisit Josualle ja sanoit: se on sanottu sinun palwelioilles että sinun HERras Jumalas on käskenyt hänen palwelians Mosexen anda teille caiken tämän maan ja häwittä teidän edestän caicki maan asuwaiset nijn me suurest pelkäisim hengem teidän tähden ja teimme tämän.

24 And they answered Joshua and said, Because it was certainly told your servants, how that Jehovah your God commanded his servant Moses to give you* all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you*. Therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you* and have done this thing.

24. And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

24. Sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Es ist deinen Knechten angesagt, daß der HERR, dein Gott, Mose, seinem Knecht, geboten habe, daß er euch das ganze Land geben und vor euch her alle Einwohner des Landes vertilgen wolle. Da fürchteten wir für unser Leben vor euch sehr und haben solches getan.

24. Y ellos respondieron a Josué, y dijeron: Como fué dado a entender a tus siervos, que Jehová tu Dios había mandado a Moisés su siervo, que os había de dar toda la tierra, y que había de destruir todos los moradores de la tierra delante de vosotros; por esto temimos en grande manera de vosotros por nuestras vidas, e hicimos esto.

24 Они в ответ Иисусу сказали: дошло до сведения рабов твоих, что Господь Бог твой повелел Моисею, рабу Своему, дать вам всю землю и погубить всех жителей сей земли пред лицем вашим; посему мы весьма боялись, чтобы вы не лишили нас жизни, и сделали это дело;

25. Mutta katso, nyt me olemme sinun käsissäsi: tee meille, mikä mielestäsi on hyvin ja oikein.

25. Mutta katso, me olemme nyt sinun kädessäs: mikä sinulle näkyy oikiaksi eli hyväksi meille tehdäkses, se tee.

25. Mutta cadzo me olemma nyt sinun kädesäs mikä sinulle näky oikiaxi eli hywäxi meille tehdäzes se tee.

25 And now, behold, we are in your hand. As it seems good and right to you to do to us, do.

25. And now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.

25. Nun aber, siehe, wir sind in deinen Händen; was dich gut dünkt uns zu tun, das tue.

25. Ahora, pues, hénos aquí en tu mano, lo que te pareciere bueno y recto hacer de nosotros, eso haz.

25 теперь вот мы в руке твоей: как лучше и справедливее тебе покажется поступить с нами,так и поступи.

26. Silloin hän teki heille näin: hän pelasti heidät israelilaisten käsistä, niin etteivät he heitä surmanneet.

26. Ja hän teki heille niin ja vapahti heitä Israelin lasten kädestä, ettei he lyöneet heitä kuoliaaksi.

26. Ja hän teki heille nijn ja wapahti heitä Israelin lasten kädest ettei he lyönet heitä cuoliaxi.

26 And so he did to them and delivered them out of the hand of the sons of Israel, that they did not kill them.

26. And so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.

26. Und er tat ihnen also und errettete sie von der Kinder Israel Hand, daß sie sie nicht erwürgten.

26. Y él lo hizo así, que los libró de la mano de los hijos de Israel, que no los matasen.

26 И поступил с ними так: избавил их от руки сынов Израилевых, и они не умертвили их;

27. Niin Joosua sinä päivänä määräsi heidät seurakunnan ja Herran alttarin halonhakkaajiksi ja vedenkantajiksi, aina tähän päivään asti, sitä paikkaa varten, jonka Herra oli valitseva.

27. Niin teki Josua heidät sinä päivänä halkoin hakkaajiksi ja veden kantajiksi seurakunnalle ja Herran alttarille tähän päivään asti, siihen paikkaan jonka hän valitsi.

27. Nijn teki Josua heidän sinä päiwänä halcoin hackajaxi ja weden candajaxi seuracunnalle ja HERran Altarille tähän päiwän asti sijhen paickaan jonga hän walidzi.

27 And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation and for the altar of Jehovah to this day in the place which he should choose.

27. And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

27. Also machte sie Josua desselben Tages zu Holzhauern und Wasserträgern für die Gemeinde und den Altar des HERRN bis auf diesen Tag, an dem Ort, den er erwählen würde.

27. Y Josué los constituyó aquel día por leñadores y aguadores para la congregación, y para el altar de Jehová en el lugar que él escogiese, hasta hoy.

27 и определил в тот день Иисус, чтобы они рубили дрова и черпали воду для общества и для жертвенника Господня; – посему жители Гаваона сделались дровосеками и водоносами для жертвенника Божия, – даже до сего дня, на месте, какое ни избрал бы Господь .
