3 luku

Israel kulkee kuivin jaloin Jordanin yli.

1. Niin Joosua nousi varhain seuraavana aamuna, ja he lähtivät liikkeelle Sittimistä ja tulivat Jordanille, hän ja kaikki israelilaiset; ja he olivat siellä yötä, ennenkuin menivät virran yli.

1 And Joshua rose up early in the morning. And they moved from Shittim and came to the Jordan, he and all the sons of Israel and they lodged there before they passed over.

1. And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.

1. Und Josua machte sich früh auf, und sie zogen aus Sittim und kamen an den Jordan, er und alle Kinder Israel, und blieben daselbst über Nacht, ehe sie hinüberzogen.

1. Y MADRUGÓ Josué de mañana, y partieron de Setim, y vinieron hasta el Jordán él y todos los hijos de Israel; y reposaron allí ántes que pasasen.

1 И встал Иисус рано поутру, и двинулись они от Ситтима и пришли к Иордану, он и все сыны Израилевы, и ночевали там,еще не переходя его .

2. Mutta kolmen päivän kuluttua kulkivat päällysmiehet halki leirin

2. Ja tapahtui kolmen päivän perästä, että päämiehet menivät leirin lävitse,

2 And it happened after three days, that the officers went through the midst of the camp,

2. Y pasados tres dias, los alcaldes pasaron por medio del campo;

2 Чрез три дня пошли надзиратели по стану

3. ja käskivät kansaa sanoen: Kun te näette Herran, teidän Jumalanne, liitonarkin ja leeviläiset papit sitä kantamassa, niin lähtekää tekin liikkeelle paikoiltanne ja seuratkaa sitä.

3. Ja käskivät kansalle, sanoen: kuin te näette Herran teidän Jumalanne liitonarkin, ja papit Leviläiset kantavat sitä, niin matkustakaat te myös siastanne ja seuratkaat sitä,

3. Ja käskit Canssalle sanoden: cosca te näette HERran teidän Jumalan lijton Arkin ja Papit Lewitaist candawan sitä nijn matcustacat te myös siastan ja seuratcat händä.

3 and they commanded the people, saying, When you* see the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your* God and the priests the Levites bearing it, then you* will move from your* place and go after it.

3. And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

3. und geboten dem Volk und sprachen: Wenn ihr sehen werdet die Lade des Bundes des HERRN, eures Gottes, und die Priester aus den Leviten sie tragen, so ziehet aus von eurem Ort und folgt ihr nach.

3. Y mandaron al pueblo, diciendo: Cuando viereis el arca del concierto de Jehová vuestro Dios, y los sacerdotes y Levitas que la llevan, vosotros partiréis de vuestro lugar, y marcharéis en pos de ella.

3 и дали народу повеление, говоря: когда увидите ковчег завета Господа Бога вашего и священников и левитов, несущих его, то и вы двиньтесь с места своего и идите за ним;

4. Kuitenkin olkoon noin kahdentuhannen kyynärän välimatka teidän ja sen välillä — älkää menkö sitä lähelle — että tietäisitte tien, jota teidän on käytävä, sillä te ette ole ennen kulkeneet sitä tietä.

4. Kuitenkin niin että teidän välillänne ja hänen on liki kahdentuhannen kyynärän pituus siaa; eikä teidän pidä tuleman häntä juuri lähes, että te tietäisitte tien, jota teidän pitää matkustaman; sillä ette ennen ole sitä tietä vaeltaneet:

4 Yet there will be a space between you* and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near to it, that you* may know the way by which you* must go, for you* have not passed this way yesterday and the day before.

4. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.

4. Doch daß zwischen euch und ihr Raum sei bei zweitausend Ellen. Ihr sollt nicht zu ihr nahen, auf daß ihr wisset, auf welchem Weg ihr gehen sollt; denn ihr seid den Weg bisher nicht gegangen.

4. Empero entre vosotros y ella haya distancia como de la medida de dos mil codos, y no os acercaréis de ella: para que sepáis el camino por donde habéis de ir: por cuanto vosotros no habéis pasado ántes de ahora por este camino.

4 впрочем расстояние между вами и им должно быть до двух тысяч локтей мерою; не подходите к нему близко, чтобы знать вам путь, по которому идти; ибо вы не ходили симпутем ни вчера, ни третьего дня.

5. Ja Joosua sanoi kansalle: Pyhittäytykää, sillä huomenna Herra on tekevä ihmeellisiä tekoja teidän keskuudessanne.

5. Ja Josua sanoi kansalle: pyhittäkäät teitänne, sillä huomenna tekee Herra ihmeellisen työn teidän keskellänne.

5. JA Josua sanoi Canssalle: pyhittäkät teitän: sillä huomena teke HERra ihmellisen työn teidän keskellän.

5 And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow Jehovah will do wonders among you*.

5. And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.

5. Und Josua sprach zu dem Volk: Heiligt euch; denn morgen wir der HERR ein Wunder unter euch tun.

5. Y Josué dijo al pueblo: Santificáos, porque Jehová hará mañana entre vosotros maravillas.

5 И сказал Иисус народу: освятитесь, ибо завтра сотворит Господь среди вас чудеса.

6. Mutta papeille Joosua sanoi näin: Ottakaa liitonarkki ja kulkekaa kansan edellä. Niin he ottivat liitonarkin ja kulkivat kansan edellä.

6. Ja Josua puhui papeille, sanoen: ottakaat liitonarkki ja menkäät kansan edellä; niin he ottivat liitonarkin ja menivät kansan edellä.

6. Ja hän sanoi Papeille: ottacat lijton Arcki ja mengät Canssan edellä. Nijn he otit lijton Arkin ja menit Canssan edellä.

6 And Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.

6. And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.

6. Und zu den Priestern sprach er: Tragt die Lade des Bundes und geht vor dem Volk her. Da trugen sie die Lade des Bundes und gingen vor dem Volk her.

6. Y habló Josué a los sacerdotes, diciendo: Tomád el arca del concierto, y pasád delante del pueblo. Y ellos tomaron el arca del concierto, y fueron delante del pueblo.

6 Священникам же сказал Иисус: возьмите ковчег завета, и идите пред народом. Священники взяли ковчег завета, и пошли пред народом.

7. Silloin Herra sanoi Joosualle: Tästä päivästä alkaen minä teen sinut suureksi koko Israelin silmissä, jotta he tietäisivät, että niinkuin minä olin Mooseksen kanssa, niin minä olen sinunkin kanssasi.

7. Ja Herra sanoi Josualle: tänäpänä rupeen minä tekemään sinun suureksi koko Israelin edessä, että he tietäisivät, että niinkuin minä olin Moseksen kanssa, niin minä olen myös sinun kanssas.

7. Ja HERra sanoi Josualle: tänäpänä rupen minä sinun suurexi tekemän coco Israelin edes että he tietäisit että nijncuin minä olin Mosexen cansa nijn minä olen myös sinun cansas.

7 And Jehovah said to Joshua, This day I will begin to magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

7. And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

7. Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Heute will ich anfangen, dich groß zu machen vor dem ganzen Israel, daß sie wissen, wie ich mit Mose gewesen bin, also sei ich auch mit dir.

7. Entónces Jehová dijo a Josué: Desde aqueste día comenzaré a hacerte grande delante de los ojos de todo Israel: para que entiendan, que como fuí con Moisés, así seré contigo.

7 Тогда Господь сказал Иисусу: в сей день Я начну прославлять тебя пред очами всех сынов Израиля, дабы они узнали, что как Я был с Моисеем, так буду и с тобою;

8. Käske pappeja, jotka kantavat liitonarkkia, ja sano: 'Kun tulette Jordanin veden ääreen, niin pysähtykää Jordanin rantaan.'

8. Ja käske pappeja, jotka kantavat liitonarkkia, ja sano: kuin te tulette Jordanin vetten ääreen, niin seisahtukaat Jordanissa.

8. Ja käske Pappein jotca candawat lijton Arckia ja sano: cuin te tuletta ensin Jordanin weden äreen nijn seisattacat sijnä.

8 And you will command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When you* have come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you* will stand still in the Jordan.

8. And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.

8. Und du gebiete den Priestern, die die Lade des Bunde tragen, und sprich: Wenn ihr kommt vorn ins Wasser des Jordans, so steht still.

8. Tú pues mandarás a los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del concierto, diciendo: Cuando hubiereis entrado hasta el cabo del agua del Jordán, pararéis en el Jordán.

8 а ты дай повеление священникам, несущим ковчег завета, и скажи: как только войдете в воды Иордана, остановитесь в Иордане.

9. Sitten Joosua sanoi israelilaisille: Tulkaa tänne ja kuulkaa Herran, teidän Jumalanne, sanat.

9. Ja Josua sanoi Israelin lapsille: astukaat tänne ja kuulkaat Herran teidän Jumalanne sanaa.

9. Ja Josua sanoi Israelin lapsille: astucat tänne ja cuulcat HERran teidän Jumalan sana.

9 And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, Come here and hear the words of Jehovah your* God.

9. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.

9. Und Josua sprach zu den Kindern Israel: Herzu! und Hört die Worte des HERRN, eures Gottes!

9. Y Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: Llegáos acá, y escuchád las palabras de Jehová vuestro Dios.

9 Иисус сказал сынам Израилевым: подойдите сюда и выслушайте слова Господа, Бога вашего.

10. Ja Joosua sanoi: Tästä saatte tietää, että elävä Jumala on teidän keskellänne ja karkoittaa teidän tieltänne kanaanilaiset, heettiläiset, hivviläiset, perissiläiset, girgasilaiset, amorilaiset ja jebusilaiset:

10. Ja Josua sanoi: siitä tietäkäät elävän Jumalan olevan teidän seassanne, ja että hän kaiketi ajaa pois teidän edestänne Kanaanilaiset, Hetiläiset, Heviläiset, Pheresiläiset, Gergesiläiset, Amorilaiset ja Jebusilaiset:

10. Ja hän sanoi: sijtä tietkät eläwä Jumala olewan teidän seasan ja hänen caiketi ajawan teidän edestän Cananerit Hetherit Hewerit Pheserit Gergeserit Amorrerit ja Jebuserit.

10 And Joshua said, Hereby you* will know that the living God is among you* and that he will without fail drive out from before you* the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Hivite and the Perizzite and the Girgashite and the Amorite and the Jebusite.

10. And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.

10. Und sprach: Dabei sollt ihr merken, daß ein lebendiger Gott unter euch ist, und daß er vor euch austreiben wird die Kanaaniter, Hethiter, Heviter, Pheresiter, Girgasiter, Amoriter und Jebusiter.

10. Y Josué tornó a decir: En esto conoceréis que el Dios viviente está en medio de vosotros; y que él echará de delante de vosotros al Cananeo, y al Jetteo, y al Heveo, y al Ferezeo, y al Gergeseo, y al Amorreo, y al Jebuseo:

10 И сказал Иисус: из сего узнаете, что среди вас есть Бог живый,Который прогонит от вас Хананеев и Хеттеев, и Евеев, и Ферезеев, и Гергесеев, и Аморреев, и Иевусеев:

11. katso, kaiken maan Herran liitonarkki kulkee teidän edellänne Jordanin poikki.

11. Katso, kaiken maailman hallitsian liitonarkki menee Jordanissa teidän edellänne.

11. Cadzo joca on caiken mailman hallidzian lijton Arcki mene Jordanis teidän edellän.

11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passes over before you* into the Jordan.

11. Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.

11. Siehe, die Lade des Bundes des Herrschers über alle Welt wird vor euch her gehen in den Jordan.

11. He aquí, el arca del concierto del Señoreador de toda la tierra pasa el Jordán delante de vosotros.

11 вот, ковчег завета Господа всей земли пойдет пред вами чрез Иордан;

12. Ottakaa siis kaksitoista miestä Israelin sukukunnista, kustakin sukukunnasta yksi mies.

12. Niin ottakaat nyt teille kaksitoistakymmentä miestä Israelin sukukunnista, jokaisesta sukukunnasta yksi mies.

12. Nijn ottacat nyt caxitoistakymmendä miestä Israelin sucucunnista jocaidzest sucucunnast yxi.

12 Now therefore take for you* twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, for every tribe a man.

12. Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.

12. So nehmt nun zwölf aus den Stämmen Israels, aus jeglichem Stamm einen.

12. Tomád pues ahora doce hombres de las tribus de Israel, de cada tribu uno;

12 и возьмите себе двенадцать человек из колен Израилевых, по одномучеловеку из колена;

13. Niin pian kuin papit, jotka kantavat Herran, kaiken maan Herran, liitonarkkia, laskevat jalkansa Jordanin veteen, katkeaa Jordanin vesi, ylhäältä päin virtaava vesi, juoksussaan ja pysähtyy roukkioksi.

13. Ja pitää tapahtuman, että kuin papit, jotka kantavat Herran, kaiken maailman hallitsian arkkia, laskevat jalkansa Jordanin veteen, niin se vesi, joka Jordanissa ylimmäiseltä puolelta juoksee, eroittaa itsensä, niin että se seisoo yhdessä läjässä.

13. Ja cosca Pappein pöytäjalca jotca candawat HERRAN

13 And it will happen, when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of Jehovah, the Lord of all the earth, will rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan will be cut off, even the waters that come down from above and they will stand in one heap.

13. And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.

13. Wenn dann die Fußsohlen der Priester, die des HERRN Lade, des Herrschers über alle Welt, tragen, in des Jordans Wasser sich lassen, so wird das Wasser, das von oben herabfließt im Jordan, abreißen, daß es auf einem Haufen stehen bleibe.

13. Y cuando las plantas de los piés de los sacerdotes, que llevan el arca de Jehová Señoreador de toda la tierra, fueren asentadas sobre las aguas del Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se partirán: porque las aguas que descienden de arriba se detendrán en un montón.

13 и как только стопы ног священников, несущих ковчег Господа, Владыки всей земли, ступят в воду Иордана, вода Иорданская иссякнет, текущая же сверху вода остановится стеною.

14. Kun kansa sitten lähti liikkeelle teltoistaan mennäksensä Jordanin poikki, liitonarkkia kantavien pappien käydessä kansan edellä,

14. Ja koska kansa läksi majoistansa menemään Jordanin yli, ja papit kantoivat liitonarkkia kansan edellä,

14. JA cosca Canssa läxi heidän majoistans menemän Jordanin ylidze ja Papit cannoit lijton Arckia Canssan edellä/

14 And it happened, when the people moved from their tents to pass over the Jordan — the priests who bore the ark of the covenant being before the people–

14. And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;

14. Da nun das Volk auszog aus seinen Hütten, daß sie über den Jordan gingen, und die Priester die Lade des Bundes vor dem Volk her trugen

14. Y aconteció que partiendo el pueblo de sus tiendas para pasar el Jordán: y los sacerdotes delante del pueblo llevando el arca del concierto,

14 Итак, когда народ двинулся от своих шатров, чтобы переходить Иордан, и священники понесли ковчег завета пред народом,

15. ja niin pian kuin liitonarkin kantajat tulivat Jordanille ja liitonarkkia kantavien pappien jalat painuivat rantaveteen, niin vaikka Jordan koko elonleikkuuajan on tulvillaan yli kaikkien äyräidensä,

15. Ja kuin arkin kantajat tulivat Jordaniin, ja pappein, arkin kantajain jalat kastuivat veden syrjään, (ja Jordan oli täynnä partaaseen saakka kaiken elonajan).

15. Ja Arkin candajat tulit Jordanijn ja heidän jalcans ensin castuit weteen ( ja Jordan oli täynäns partasen saacka caiken sen syyscauden )

15 and when those who bore the ark came to the Jordan and the feet of the priests who bore the ark were dipped in the brink of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),

15. And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

15. und an den Jordan kamen und ihre Füße vorn ins Wasser tauchten (der Jordan aber war voll an allen seinen Ufern die ganze Zeit der Ernte),

15. Cuando los que llevaban el arca, entraron en el Jordán, y que los piés de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca fueron mojados a la orilla del agua, (porque el Jordán suele reverter sobre todos sus bordes todo el tiempo de la segada,)

15 то, лишь только несущие ковчег вошли в Иордан, и ноги священников,несших ковчег, погрузились в воду Иордана – Иордан же выступает из всех берегов своих во все дни жатвы пшеницы, –

16. pysähtyi ylhäältä päin virtaava vesi ja seisoi yhtenä roukkiona hyvin kaukana Aadamin luona, sen kaupungin, joka on Saaretanin vieressä; ja se vesi, joka virtasi alaspäin Aromereen, Suolamereen, hävisi kokonaan. Niin kansa kulki virran yli Jerikon kohdalta.

16. Niin seisoi se vesi, joka ylimmäiseltä puolelta juoksee, koottuna yhdessä läjässä, sangen kaukana Adamin kaupungin puolessa, joka on Zartanin tykönä; mutta se vesi, joka juoksi alas korven mereen, nimittäin Suolaiseen mereen, väheni ja juoksi pois; niin meni kansa yli Jerihon kohdalla.

16. Nijn seisoi se wesi joca ylimmäiseldä puolelda juoxe coottuna yhdes coosa sangen caucana Adamin Caupungin puolest joca on Zarthanin tykönä. Mutta se wesi joca juoxi alas suolaisen meren käsin wäheni ja juoxi pois. Nijn meni Canssa ylidzen Jerihota cohden.

16 that the waters which came down from above, stood and rose up in one heap a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were entirely cut off. And the people passed over right against Jericho.

16. That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

16. da stand das Wasser, das von oben herniederkam, aufgerichtet auf einem Haufen, sehr ferne, bei der Stadt Adam, die zur Seite Zarthans liegt; aber das Wasser das zum Meer hinunterlief, zum Salzmeer, das nahm ab und verfloß. Also ging das Volk hinüber, Jericho gegenüber.

16. Las aguas que descendían de arriba, se pararon como en un montón bien léjos de la ciudad de Adam, que está al lado de Sartán: y las que descendían a la mar de los llanos a la mar salada, se acabaron y fueron partidas, y el pueblo pasó en derecho de Jericó.

16 вода, текущая сверху, остановилась и стала стеною на весьма большое расстояние, до города Адама, который подле Цартана; а текущая в море равнины, в море Соленое, ушла и иссякла.

17. Ja Herran liitonarkkia kantavat papit seisoivat alallaan kuivalla pohjalla keskellä Jordania, kaiken Israelin kulkiessa kuivaa myöten, kunnes koko kansa oli ehtinyt kulkea Jordanin yli.

17. Ja papit, jotka kantoivat Herran liitonarkkia, seisoivat kuivan päällä, asetetut Jordanin keskellä ja koko Israel kävi kuivan päällä sen lävitse, siihenasti että kaikki kansa tuli Jordanin ylitse.

17. Ja Papit jotca cannoit HERran lijton Arckia seisatit cuiwana keskellä Jordanin ja coco Israel käwi cuiwin jalgoin sen läpidze sijhenasti että caicki Canssa tuli Jordanin ylidze.

17 And the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan and all Israel passed over on dry ground until all the nation were passed clean over the Jordan.

17. And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

17. Und die Priester, die die Lade des Bundes des HERRN trugen, standen still im Trockenen mitten im Jordan. Und ganz Israel ging trocken durch, bis das ganze Volk alles über den Jordan kam.

17. Mas los sacerdotes, que llevaban el arca del concierto de Jehová estuvieron en seco en medio del Jordán firmes, hasta que todo el pueblo hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán, y todo Israel pasó en seco.

17 И народ переходил против Иерихона; священники же, несшие ковчегзавета Господня, стояли на суше среди Иордана твердою ногою. Все сыны Израилевы переходили по суше, доколе весь народ не перешел чрез Иордан.
