Ain valloitus ja hävitys. Alttari rakennetaan Eebalin vuorelle ja laki luetaan kansalle.

1. Ja Herra sanoi Joosualle: Älä pelkää äläkä arkaile. Ota mukaasi kaikki sotaväki ja lähde ja mene Aihin. Katso, minä annan sinun käsiisi Ain kuninkaan ja hänen kansansa, hänen kaupunkinsa ja maansa.

1. Ja Herra sanoi Josualle: älä pelkää, älä myös vapise: ota kanssas kaikki sotaväki, ja nouse ja mene ylös Aihin; katso, minä annan Ain kuninkaan kansoinensa, kaupunkinensa ja mainensa sinun kätees.

1. JA HErra sanoi Josualle: älä pelkä älä myös wapise ota cansas caicki sotawäki ja walmista ja mene Aijn. Cadzo minä annoin Ain Cuningan Canssoinens Caupunginens ja mainens sinun kätees.

1 And Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not fear, neither be dismayed. Take all the people of war with you and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai and his people and his city and his land.

1. And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:

1. Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Fürchte dich nicht und zage nicht! Nimm mit dir alles Kriegsvolk und mache dich auf und zieh hinauf gen Ai! Siehe da, ich habe den König zu Ai samt seinem Volk, seiner Stadt, und seinem Lande in deine Hände gegeben.

1. Y JEHOVÁ dijo a Josué: No temas, ni desmayes: toma contigo toda la gente de guerra, y levántate y sube a Hai. Mira, yo he entregado en tu mano al rey de Hai, y a su pueblo, a su ciudad y a su tierra.

1 Господь сказал Иисусу: не бойся и не ужасайся; возьми с собою весь народ, способный к войне, и встав пойди к Гаю; вот, Я предаю в руки твои царя Гайского и народ его, город его и землю его;

2. Ja tee Aille ja sen kuninkaalle, niinkuin teit Jerikolle ja sen kuninkaalle; kuitenkin saatte ryöstää itsellenne, mitä sieltä on saatavana saalista ja karjaa. Aseta väijytys kaupungin taa.

2. Ja sinun pitää tekemän Aille ja sen kuninkaalle niinkuin sinä teit Jeriholle ja sen kuninkaalle; ainoasti hänen saaliinsa ja karjansa jakakaat keskenänne, ja pane väijyjät kaupungin taa.

2. Ja tee Aille ja hänen Cuningallens nijncuins teit Jeriholle ja hänen Cuningallens ainoastans hänen saalins ja carjans jacacat keskenän ja pane wäjyjät Caupungin taa.

2 And you will do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king. Only the spoil of it and the cattle of it, you* will take for a prey to yourselves. Set an ambush for the city behind it.

2. And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.

2. Du sollst mit Ai und seinem König tun, wie du mit Jericho und seinem König getan hast, nur daß ihr ihren Raub und ihr Vieh unter euch teilen sollt. Aber stelle einen Hinterhalt hinter der Stadt.

2. Y harás a Hai, y a su rey como hiciste a Jericó, y a su rey: sino que sus despojos y sus bestias saquearéis para vosotros. Pondrás pues emboscadas a la ciudad de tras de ella.

2 сделай с Гаем и царем его то же, что сделал ты с Иерихоном и царем его, только добычу его и скот его разделите себе; сделай засаду позадигорода.

3. Niin Joosua ynnä kaikki sotaväki lähti liikkeelle mennäkseen Aihin. Ja Joosua valitsi kolmekymmentä tuhatta miestä, sotaurhoa, ja lähetti heidät menemään yöllä.

3. Niin Josua nousi kaiken sotaväen kanssa menemään ylös Aihin, ja Josua valitsi kolmekymmentä tuhatta väkevää sotamiestä ja lähetti heidät yöllä ulos,

3 So Joshua arose and all the people of war, to go up to Ai. And Joshua chose out thirty thousand men, the mighty men of valor and sent them forth by night.

3. So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night.

3. Da machte sich Josua auf und alles Kriegsvolk, hinaufzuziehen gen Ai. Und Josua erwählte dreißigtausend streitbare Männer und sandte sie aus bei der Nacht{~}

3. Y Josué se levantó, y toda la gente de guerra para subir contra Hai: y escogió Josué treinta mil hombres fuertes, a los cuales envió de noche.

3 Иисус и весь народ, способный к войне, встал, чтобы идти к Гаю,и выбрал Иисус тридцать тысяч человек храбрых и послал их ночью,

4. Ja hän käski heitä sanoen: Asettukaa väijyksiin kaupungin taa, ei aivan kauas kaupungista; ja olkaa kaikki valmiina.

4. Ja käski heitä ja sanoi: katsokaat te, jotka väijytte kaupunkia kaupungin takana, ettette kauvas mene kaupungista, mutta olkaat kaikki valmiit.

4. Ja käski heitä ja sanoi: cadzocat te jotca wäjyttä Caupungin tacana ettet te ylön taamma mene Caupungista mutta olcat caicki walmit.

4 And he commanded them, saying, Behold, you* will lie in ambush against the city, behind the city. Do not go very far from the city, but be you* all ready,

4. And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready:

4. und gebot ihnen und sprach: Seht zu, ihr sollt der Hinterhalt sein hinter der Stadt; macht euch aber nicht allzu ferne von der Stadt und seid allesamt bereit!

4. Y mandóles, diciendo: Mirád, pondréis emboscada a la ciudad detrás de ella: no os alejaréis mucho de la ciudad, y estaréis todos apercibidos.

4 и дал им приказание и сказал: смотрите, вы будете составлять засаду у города позади города; не отходите далеко от города и будьте все готовы;

5. Mutta minä ynnä kaikki se väki, joka on minun kanssani, lähenemme kaupunkia. Kun he sitten tulevat ulos meitä vastaan niinkuin ensi kerrallakin, niin me käännymme pakoon heidän edestänsä.

5. Ja minä ja kaikki kansa, joka minun kanssani on, lähestymme kaupunkia. Ja kuin he tulevat ulos meitä vastaan niinkuin ennenkin, niin me pakenemme heidän edellänsä,

5. Minä ja caicki Canssa joca minun cansani on lähestym Caupungita ja cosca he tulewat meitä wastan nijncuin ennengin nijn me pakenem heidän edelläns.

5 and I and all the people that are with me, will approach to the city. And it will happen, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them.

5. And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,

5. Ich aber und das Volk, das mit mir ist, wollen uns zu der Stadt machen. Und wenn sie uns entgegen herausfahren wie das erstemal, so wollen wir vor ihnen fliehen,

5. Y yo y todo el pueblo que está conmigo nos acercarémos a la ciudad: y cuando ellos saldrán contra nosotros, como hicieron ántes, huiremos delante de ellos.

5 а я и весь народ, который со мною, подойдем к городу; и когда жители Гая выступят против нас, как и прежде, то мы побежим от них;

6. Ja he seuraavat meitä niin kauas, että eristämme heidät kaupungista, sillä he sanovat: 'He pakenevat meitä niinkuin ensi kerrallakin.' Kun me näin pakenemme heitä,

6. Että he tulisivat meidän jälkeemme niinkauvan, että me saisimme heidät eroitetuksi kaupungista; sillä he sanovat: he pakenevat meidän edellämme niinkuin ennenkin; ja me pakenemme heidän edellänsä.

6. Että he tulisit meidän jälkem nijncauwan että me saisim heidän eroitetuxi Caupungist: sillä he sanowat: he pakenewat meidän edelläm nijncuin ennengin ja me pakenem heidän edelläns.

6 And they will come out after us, till we have drawn them away from the city, for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first. So we will flee before them.

6. (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them.

6. daß sie uns nachfolgen heraus, bis daß wir sie von der Stadt hinwegreißen. Denn sie werden gedenken, wir fliehen vor ihnen wie das erstemal. Und wenn wir vor ihnen fliehen,

6. Y ellos saldrán tras nosotros hasta que les arranquemos de la ciudad. Porque ellos dirán: Huyen de nosotros como la primera vez: porque nosotros huiremos delante de ellos.

6 они пойдут за нами, так что мы отвлечем их от города; ибо они скажут: „бегут от нас, как и прежде"; когда мы побежим от них,

7. silloin nouskaa te väijytyksestä ja ottakaa kaupunki haltuunne, sillä Herra, teidän Jumalanne, antaa sen teidän käsiinne.

7. Silloin te nouskaat väijymästä ja ottakaat kaupunki; sillä Herra teidän Jumalanne antaa sen teidän käteenne.

7. Silloin noscat wäjymäst ja ottacat Caupungi: sillä HERra teidän Jumalan anda sen teidän käteen.

7 And you* will rise up from the ambush and take possession of the city, for Jehovah your* God will deliver it into your* hand.

7. Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.

7. sollt ihr euch aufmachen aus dem Hinterhalt und die Stadt einnehmen; denn der HERR, euer Gott, wird sie in eure Hände geben.

7. Entónces vosotros os levantaréis de la emboscada, y tomaréis la ciudad: y Jehová vuestro Dios os la entregará en vuestras manos.

7 тогда вы встаньте из засады и завладейте городом, и Господь Бог ваш предаст его в руки ваши;

8. Ja kun olette saaneet kaupungin valtaanne, sytyttäkää kaupunki palamaan; tehkää Herran sanan mukaan. Huomatkaa, että minä käsken teidän tehdä sen.

8. Ja kuin te olette saaneet kaupungin, sytyttäkäät siihen tuli ja tehkäät Herran sanan jälkeen; katsokaat, minä olen sen käskenyt teille.

8. Ja cosca te oletta saanet Caupungin sytyttäkät häneen tuli ja tehkät HERran sanan jälken cadzo minä olen sen käskenyt teille.

8 And it will be, when you* have seized upon the city, that you* will set the city on fire. According to the word of Jehovah will you* do. See, I have commanded you*.

8. And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.

8. Wenn ihr aber die Stadt eingenommen habt, so steckt sie an mit Feuer und tut nach dem Wort des HERRN. Seht, ich habe es euch geboten.

8. Y cuando la hubiereis tomado, meterla heis a fuego. Haréis conforme a la palabra de Jehová. Mirád, que yo os lo he mandado.

8 когда возьмете город, зажгите город огнем, по слову Господню сделайте; смотрите, я повелеваю вам.

9. Sitten Joosua lähetti heidät menemään, ja he menivät ja asettuivat väijytyspaikkaan Beetelin ja Ain välille, länteen päin Aista. Mutta Joosua oli sen yön kansan kanssa.

9. Niin Josua lähetti heidät, ja he menivät sinne väijymään ja pidättivät BetElin ja Ain välillä, lännen puolella Aista; mutta Josua yötyi kansan keskellä.

9 And Joshua sent them forth and they went to the ambush and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai, but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

9. Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

9. Also sandte sie Josua hin; und sie gingen hin auf den Hinterhalt und hielten zwischen Beth-El und Ai abendwärts von Ai. Josua aber blieb die Nacht unter dem Volk{~}

9. Entónces Josué les envió: y ellos se fueron a la emboscada, y pusiéronse entre Betel, y Hai, al occidente de Hai: y Josué se quedó aquella noche en medio del pueblo.

9 Таким образом послал их Иисус, и они пошли в засаду и засели междуВефилем и между Гаем, с западной стороны Гая; а Иисус в ту ночь ночевал среди народа.

10. Varhain seuraavana aamuna Joosua piti kansan katselmuksen ja lähti, hän ja Israelin vanhimmat, kansan etunenässä nousemaan Aihin.

10. Ja Josua nousi varhain ja asetti kansan, ja hän meni ylös ja Israelin vanhimmat Aihin kansan edellä.

10. Ja nousi warhain ja asetti Canssan ja meni wanhimbain cansa Israelist Aijn Canssan edellä.

10 And Joshua arose up early in the morning and mustered the people and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai.

10. And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai.

10. und machte sich des Morgens früh auf und ordnete das Volk und zog hinauf mit den Ältesten Israels vor dem Volk her gen Ai.

10. Y levantándose Josué muy de mañana, contó el pueblo, y subió él y los ancianos de Israel delante del pueblo contra Hai.

10 Встав рано поутру, Иисус осмотрел народ, и пошел он и старейшины Израилевы впереди народа к Гаю;

11. Ja kaikki se sotaväki, joka oli hänen kanssaan, nousi, lähestyi ja tuli kaupungin edustalle; ja he leiriytyivät Ain pohjoispuolelle, niin että laakso oli heidän ja Ain välillä.

11. Ja kaikki sotaväki, jotka hänen tykönänsä olivat, menivät, kävivät edes ja tulivat kaupungin kohdalle ja sioittivat itsensä pohjan puolelle Aista; ja laakso oli heidän ja Ain välillä.

11 And all the people, (even the men of) war who were with him, went up and drew near and came before the city and encamped on the north side of Ai. Now there was a valley between him and Ai.

11. And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai.

11. Und alles Kriegsvolk, das bei ihm war, zog hinauf, und sie traten herzu und kamen gegen die Stadt und lagerten sich gegen Mitternacht vor Ai, daß nur ein Tal war zwischen ihnen und Ai.

11. Asimismo toda la gente de guerra, que estaba con él, subieron, y llegaron, y vinieron delante de la ciudad: y asentaron el campo a la parte del norte de Hai: y el valle estaba entre él y Hai.

11 и весь народ, способный к войне, который был с ним, пошел, приблизился и подошел к городу,

12. Sitten hän otti noin viisituhatta miestä ja asetti heidät väijyksiin Beetelin ja Ain välille, länteen päin kaupungista.

12. Mutta hän otti liki viisituhatta miestä ja pani ne väijymään BetElin ja Ain välillä, lännen puolella kaupunkia.

12 And he took about five thousand men and set them in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.

12. And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.

12. Er hatte aber bei fünftausend Mann genommen und auf den Hinterhalt gestellt zwischen Beth-El und Ai abendwärts von der Stadt.

12. Y tomó como cinco mil hombres, y púsolos en emboscada entre Betel y Hai, a la parte occidental de la ciudad.

12 и поставил стан с северной стороныГая, а между ним и Гаем была долина. Потом взял он около пяти тысяч человек и посадил их в засаде между Вефилем и Гаем, с западной стороны города.

13. Niin kansa, koko leiri, joka oli kaupungin pohjoispuolella, ja kaupungin länsipuolella oleva jälkijoukko asetettiin asemiinsa. Mutta Joosua meni sinä yönä keskelle laaksoa.

13. Ja he asettivat koko leirin kansan, joka pohjan puolella kaupunkia oli, niin että ne viimeiset ulottuivat lännen puolelta kaupunkiin; niin Josua meni sinä yönä keskelle sitä laaksoa.

13 So they set the people, even all the army that was on the north of the city and their ambush that were on the west of the city and Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.

13. And when they had set the people, even all the host that was on the north of the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.

13. Und sie stellten das Volk des ganzen Lagers, das gegen Mitternacht vor der Stadt war, also, daß sein letztes reichte bis gegen den Abend von der Stadt. Und Josua ging hin in derselben Nacht mitten in das Tal.

13. Y el pueblo, es a saber, todo el campo que estaba a la parte del norte, se acercó de la ciudad: y su emboscada al occidente de la ciudad. Y Josué vino aquella noche al medio del valle.

13 И народ расположил весь стан, который был с северной стороны города, так, что задняя часть была с западной стороны города. Ипришел Иисус в ту ночь на средину долины.

14. Kun Ain kuningas näki sen, niin kaupungin miehet, kuningas ja kaikki hänen väkensä, lähtivät varhain aamulla nopeasti taisteluun Israelia vastaan määrättyyn paikkaan aromaan puolelle; hän ei näet tiennyt, että oli väijytys häntä vastaan kaupungin takana.

14. Kuin Ain kuningas sen näki, kiiruhti hän, ja varhain huomeneltain valmisti itsensä ja kaupungin miehet menivät ulos Israelia vastaan sotaan, kuningas itse kaiken väkensä kanssa, määrätyllä ajalla, lakialle kedolle; mutta ei hän tietänyt itsiänsä väijyttävän kaupungin takana.

14. COsca Ain Cuningas sen näki kijrutti hän ja warhain huomeneltain walmisti idzens ja Caupungin miehet menit Israeli cohtaman sodalla Cuningas idze caiken wäkens cansa määrätyllä ajalla lakialle kedolle mutta ei hän tiennyt händäns wäjyttäwän Caupungin tacana.

14 And it happened, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hastened and rose up early and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at the time appointed, before the Arabah, but he did not know that there was an ambush against him behind the city.

14. And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.

14. Als aber der König zu Ai das sah, eilten die Männer der Stadt und machten sich früh auf und zogen heraus, Israel zu begegnen im Streit, er mit allem seinem Volk, an einem bestimmten Ort vor dem Gefilde. Denn er wußte nicht, daß ihm ein Hinterhalt gelegt war hinter der Stadt.

14. Lo cual como vió el rey de Hai, levantóse prestamente de mañana, y salió con la gente de la ciudad contra Israel para pelear, él y todo su pueblo al tiempo señalado, por el llano, no sabiendo que le estaba puesta emboscada a las espaldas de la ciudad.

14 Когда увидел это царь Гайский, тотчас с жителями города, встав рано, выступил против Израиля насражение, он и весь народ его, на назначенное место пред равниною; а он не знал, что для него есть засада позади города.

15. Niin Joosua ja koko Israel olivat joutuvinaan tappiolle ja pakenivat erämaahan päin.

15. Mutta Josua ja kaikki Israel teeskelivät heidän edessänsä niinkuin he olisivat lyödyt ja pakenivat tietä myöten korpeen päin.

15. Mutta Josua ja caicki Israel teeskelit heidän edesäns nijncuin he olisit lyödyt ja pakenit tietä myöden corpen päin.

15 And Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them and fled by the way of the wilderness.

15. And Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness.

15. Josua aber und ganz Israel stellten sich, als würden sie geschlagen vor ihnen und flohen auf dem Weg zur Wüste.

15. Entónces Josué y todo Israel, como vencidos, huyeron delante de ellos por el camino del desierto.

15 Иисус и весь Израиль, будто пораженные ими, побежали к пустыне;

16. Silloin kaupungin koko väki kutsuttiin ajamaan heitä takaa; ja he ajoivat Joosuaa takaa, ja niin heidät eristettiin kaupungista.

16. Niin kaikki kansa, joka kaupungissa oli, huusi että heitä piti ajettaman takaa, ja he myös ajoivat Josuaa takaa ja eroitettiin kaupungista.

16. Nijn caicki Canssa huusi Caupungist että heitä piti ajettaman taca ja he myös ajoit Josuata taca ja eroitettin Caupungist/

16 And all the people that were in the city were called together to pursue after them and they pursued after Joshua and were drawn away from the city.

16. And all the people that were in Ai were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city.

16. Da ward das ganze Volk in der Stadt zuhauf gerufen, daß es ihnen sollte nachjagen.

16. Y todo el puebló que estaba en Hai se juntó para seguirlos: y siguieron a Josué: y arrancáronse de la ciudad:

16 а они кликнули весь народ, который был в городе, чтобы преследовать их, и, преследуя Иисуса, отдалились от города;

17. Eikä Aihin eikä Beeteliin jäänyt ainoatakaan miestä, joka ei lähtenyt Israelin jälkeen, vaan he jättivät kaupungin avoimeksi ja ajoivat takaa Israelia.

17. Niin ettei yhtäkään miestä jäänyt Aihin ja BetEliin, joka ei mennyt ulos Israelin perässä: ja he jättivät kaupungin avoin ja ajoivat Israelia takaa.

17 And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel who did not go out after Israel. And they left the city open and pursued after Israel.

17. And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel, that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel.

17. Und sie jagten Josua nach und wurden von der Stadt hinweggerissen, daß nicht ein Mann übrigblieb in Ai und Beth-El, der nicht ausgezogen wäre, Israel nachzujagen; und ließen die Stadt offen stehen, daß sie Israel nachjagten.

17. Y no quedó hombre en Hai, y Betel, que no saliese tras Israel: y dejaron abierta la ciudad por seguir a Israel.

17 в Гае и Вефиле не осталось ни одного человека, который не погнался бы за Израилем; и город свой они оставили отворенным, преследуя Израиля.

18. Niin Herra sanoi Joosualle: Ojenna keihäs, joka on kädessäsi, Aita kohti, sillä minä annan sen sinun käsiisi. Ja Joosua ojensi keihään, joka oli hänen kädessään, kaupunkia kohti.

18. Niin sanoi Herra Josualle: ojenna keihääs, joka on kädessäs Ain puoleen, sillä minä annan sen sinun kätees. Ja Josua ojensi keihäänsä, joka oli hänen kädessänsä, kaupungin puoleen.

18. Nijn sanoi HERra Josualle: ojenna keihäs cuin kädesäs on Ain puoleen: sillä minä annan sen sinun kätees. Ja cosca Josua ojensi keihäns joca oli hänen kädesäns Caupungin puoleen/

18 And Jehovah said to Joshua, Stretch out the javelin that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand. And Joshua stretched out the javelin that was in his hand toward the city.

18. And the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city.

24. Kun Israel oli surmannut kaikki Ain asukkaat kedolla, erämaassa, jonne he olivat heitä ajaneet takaa, ja he kaikki viimeiseen mieheen olivat kaatuneet miekan terään, palasi koko Israel Aihin, ja siellä olevat tapettiin miekan terällä.

24 And it happened, when Israel had made an end of killing all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness in which they pursued them and they were all fallen by the edge of the sword until they were consumed, that all Israel returned to Ai and killed* it with the edge of the sword.

24. Y cuando los Israelitas acabaron de matar todos los moradores de Hai en el campo, en el desierto, donde ellos les habían perseguido, y que todos habían caido a filo de espada hasta ser consumidos, todos los Israelitas se tornaron a Hai, y también la pusieron a cuchillo.

27. Ainoastaan karjan, ja mitä kaupungista oli saatavana saalista, Israel ryösti itselleen sen määräyksen mukaan, jonka Herra oli Joosualle antanut.

29. Mutta Ain kuninkaan hän ripusti hirteen, jossa hän riippui iltaan asti. Mutta auringon laskiessa Joosua käski ottaa hänen ruumiinsa alas hirrestä, ja he heittivät sen kaupungin portin edustalle ja kasasivat sen päälle suuren kiviroukkion, joka on siellä vielä tänäkin päivänä.

29. Ja antoi hirttää Ain kuninkaan puuhun ehtooseen asti; ja kuin päivä oli laskenut, käski hän ottaa hänen ruumiinsa puusta pois, ja he heittivät sen kaupungin portin eteen ja kokosivat suuren kiviraunion hänen päällensä, joka siellä on vielä nyt tähän päivään asti.

29 And he hanged the king of Ai on a tree until the evening. And at the going down of the sun Joshua commanded and they took his body down from the tree and cast it at the entrance of the gate of the city and raised a great heap of stones on it, to this day.

29. Mas al rey de Hai le colgó de un madero hasta la tarde : y como el sol se puso, Josué mandó que quitasen del madero su cuerpo, y le echasen a la puerta de la ciudad, y levantaron sobre él un gran montón de piedras hasta hoy.

29 а царя Гайского повесил на дереве, до вечера; по захождении же солнца приказал Иисус, и сняли труп его с дерева, и бросили его у ворот городских, и набросали над ним большую груду камней, которая уцелела даже до сего дня.

31. niinkuin Herran palvelija Mooses oli käskenyt israelilaisten tehdä ja niinkuin on kirjoitettuna Mooseksen lain kirjassa: alttarin hakkaamattomista kivistä, joihin ei oltu rauta-aseella koskettu. Ja he uhrasivat sen päällä polttouhreja Herralle ja teurastivat teuraita yhteysuhriksi.

31. Niinkuin Moses Herran palvelia Israelin lapsille käskenyt oli, niinkuin Moseksen lakikirjassa kirjoitettu on: alttarin kokonaisista kivistä, joihinka ei ole rauta sattunut. Ja he uhrasivat Herralle sen päällä polttouhria ja kiitosuhria.

31. Como lo había mandado Moisés siervo de Jehová a los hijos de Israel, como está escrito en el libro de la ley de Moisés: un altar de piedras enteras, sobre las cuales nadie alzó hierro. Y ofrecieron sobre él holocaustos a Jehová, y sacrificaron sacrificios pacíficos.

31 как заповедал Моисей, раб Господень, сынам Израилевым, о чем написано в книге закона Моисеева, – жертвенник из камней цельных, на которые не поднимали железа; и принесли на нем всесожжение Господу и совершили жертвы мирные.

Niin Israelin kansa ensiksi siunattiin, niin kuin Herran palvelija Mooses oli käskenyt,

33 And all Israel and their elders and officers and their judges, stood on this side of the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, as well the traveler as the home born, half of them in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of Jehovah had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel.

33. And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.

Und das ganze Israel mit seinen Ältesten und Amtleuten und Richtern standen zu beiden Seiten der Lade, gegenüber den Priestern aus Levi, die die Lade des Bundes des HERRN trugen, die Fremdlinge sowohl wie die Einheimischen, eine Hälfte neben dem Berge Garizim und die andere Hälfte neben dem Berge Ebal, wie Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, vormals geboten hatte zu segnen das Volk Israel.

33. Y todo Israel, y sus ancianos, alcaldes y jueces estaban de la una parte y de la otra junto al arca delante de los sacerdotes Levitas; que llevan el arca del concierto de Jehová; así los extranjeros como los naturales; la mitad de ellos estaba hacia el monte de Garizim, y la otra mitad hacia el monte de Hebal, de la manera que Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado ántes: que primeramente bendijesen al pueblo de Israel.

33 Весь Израиль, старейшины его и надзиратели его и судьи его, стали с той и другой стороны ковчега против священников и левитов, носящих ковчег завета Господня, как пришельцы, так и природные жители, одна половина их у горы Гаризим, а другая половина у горы Гевал, как прежде повелел Моисей, раб Господень, благословлять народ Израилев.
