Vakoojia lähetetään Jerikoon. Raahab suojelee heitä.

1. Niin Joosua, Nuunin poika, lähetti salaa Sittimistä kaksi vakoojaa, sanoen: Menkää, katselkaa maata ja Jerikoa. Ja he menivät ja tulivat Raahab nimisen porton taloon ja laskeutuivat siellä levolle.

1. Ja Josua Nunin poika lähetti salaisesti kaksi vakoojaa Sittimistä, sanoen: menkäät ja katselkaat maata ja Jerihoa. Niin he läksivät matkaan ja tulivat porton huoneeseen, jonka nimi oli Rahab, ja lepäsivät siellä.

1. JOsua Nunin poica lähetti salaisest caxi wacojata Sittimist sanoden: mengät ja cadzelcat maata ja Jerihota. Nijn he läxit matcan ja tulit porton huoneseen jonga nimi oli Rahab ja lewäisit siellä.

1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men as spies secretly, saying, Go, view the land and Jericho. And they went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab and lay down there.

1. And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

1. Josua aber, der Sohn Nuns, hatte zwei Kundschafter heimlich ausgesandt von Sittim und ihnen gesagt: Geht hin, beseht das Land und Jericho. Die gingen hin und kamen in das Haus einer Hure, die hieß Rahab, und kehrten zu ihr ein.

1. Y JOSUÉ hijo de Nun envió desde Setim dos espías secretamente, diciéndoles: Andád, considerád la tierra, y a Jericó. Los cuales fueron, y entráronse en casa de una mujer ramera que se llamaba Raab, y posaron allí.

1 И послал Иисус, сын Навин, из Ситтима двух соглядатаев тайно и сказал: пойдите, осмотрите землю и Иерихон. Два юноши пошли и пришли в дом блудницы, которой имя Раав, и остались ночевать там.

2. Mutta Jerikon kuninkaalle kerrottiin näin: Katso, tänne on yöllä tullut miehiä israelilaisten joukosta vakoilemaan maata.

2. Mutta se ilmoitettiin Jerihon kuninkaalle, sanoen: katso, tänä yönä tulivat tänne miehet Israelin lapsista, vakoomaan maata.

2. Mutta se ilmoitettin Jerihon Cuningalle: cadzo tänä yönä tulit tänne miehet Israelin lapsist wacoileman maata.

2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, men came in here tonight of the sons of Israel to search out the land.

2. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

2. Da ward dem König von Jericho gesagt: Siehe, es sind in dieser Nacht Männer hereingekommen von den Kindern Israel, das Land zu erkunden.

2. Y fué dado aviso al rey de Jericó, diciendo: He aquí que hombres de los hijos de Israel han venido aquí esta noche a espiar la tierra.

2 И сказано было царю Иерихонскому: вот, какие-то люди изсынов Израилевых пришли сюда в эту ночь, чтобы высмотреть землю.

3. Silloin Jerikon kuningas lähetti sanan Raahabille: Tuo ulos ne miehet, jotka ovat tulleet luoksesi, jotka ovat tulleet sinun taloosi, sillä he ovat tulleet koko maata vakoilemaan.

3. Niin lähetti Jerihon kuningas Rahabin tykö, sanoen: tuo ne miehet ulos, jotka sinun tykös, sinun huoneesees tulivat, sillä he ovat tulleet vakoomaan kaikkea maata.

3. Nijn lähetti Jerihon Cuningas Rahabin tygö sanoden: tuo ne miehet ulos jotca sinun huoneses tulit sillä he owat tullet wacoiman caickea maata.

3 And the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men who came to you, who have entered into your house, for they have come to search out all the land.

3. And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

3. Da sandte der König zu Jericho zu Rahab und ließ ihr sagen: Gib die Männer heraus, die zu dir in dein Haus gekommen sind; denn sie sind gekommen, das ganze Land zu erkunden.

3. Entónces el rey de Jericó envió a Raab, diciendo: Saca fuera los hombres que han venido a tí, y han entrado en tu casa; porque han venido a espiar toda la tierra:

3 Царь Иерихонский послал сказать Рааве: выдайлюдей, пришедших к тебе, которые вошли в твой дом, ибо они пришли высмотреть всю землю.

4. Mutta vaimo otti molemmat miehet, piilotti heidät ja sanoi: Miehet kyllä tulivat minun luokseni, mutta en tiennyt, mistä he olivat.

4. Mutta vaimo otti molemmat miehet ja kätki heidät, ja sanoi näin: miehet tulivat minun tyköni, vaan en minä tietänyt, kusta he olivat.

4. Mutta waimo oli lymyttänyt molemmat miehet ja sanoi: tosin miehet tulit minun tygöni waan en minä tietänyt custa he olit.

4 And the woman took the two men and hid them. And she said, Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know from where they were.

4. And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

4. Aber das Weib verbarg die zwei Männer und sprach also: Es sind ja Männer zu mir hereingekommen; aber ich wußte nicht, woher sie waren.

4. Mas la mujer había tomado los dos hombres, y los había escondido; y dijo: Verdad es que hombres vinieron a mí: mas yo no supe de donde eran.

4 Но женщина взяла двух человек тех и скрыла их и сказала: точно приходили ко мне люди, но я не знала, откуда они;

5. Ja kun kaupungin portti pimeän tullen oli suljettava, niin miehet lähtivät ulos. En tiedä, minne miehet menivät; ajakaa nopeasti heitä takaa, niin te saavutatte heidät.

5. Ja kuin portti pimeässä pantiin kiinni, niin ne miehet läksivät ulos; enkä minä tiedä, kuhunka he menivät. Ajakaat nopiasti heitä takaa, niin heidät saatte kiinni.

5. Ja cosca portti pimeis pandin kijnni nijn ne miehet läxit ulos engän tiedä cuhunga he menit. Ajacat nopiast heitä taca nijn te heidän saatte kijnni.

5 And it happened about the time of the shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I do not know. Pursue after them quickly, for you* will overtake them.

5. And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

5. Und da man die Tore wollte zuschließen, da es finster war, gingen sie hinaus, daß ich nicht weiß, wo sie hingegangen sind. Jagt ihnen eilend nach, denn ihr werdet sie ergreifen.

5. Y siendo ya oscuro y cerrándose la puerta, esos hombres se salieron, y no sé donde se fueron: seguídlos a priesa, que alcanzarlos heis.

5 когда же в сумерки надлежало затворять ворота, тогда они ушли; не знаю, куда они пошли; гонитесь скорее за ними, вы догоните их.

6. Mutta hän oli vienyt heidät katolle ja kätkenyt heidät pellavanvarsien alle, joita oli asetellut katolle.

6 But she had brought them up to the roof and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

6. Sie aber ließ sie auf das Dach steigen und verdeckte sie unter die Flachsstengel, die sie auf dem Dache ausgebreitet hatte.

6. Mas ella los había hecho subir a la techumbre, y los había escondido entre unos tascos de lino que tenía puestos sobre la techumbre.

6 А сама отвела их на кровлю и скрыла их в снопах льна, разложенных у нее на кровле.

7. Niin miehet ajoivat heitä takaa Jordanin tietä kahlauspaikoille saakka, ja kaupungin portti suljettiin, niin pian kuin heidän takaa-ajajansa olivat menneet.

7. Ja miehet ajoivat heitä takaa, Jordanin tietä hamaan luotuspaikkaan; ja portti pantiin kiinni, sitte kohta kuin he läksivät, jotka heitä ajoivat takaa.

7. Ja miehet ajoit heitä taca Jordanin tietä haman luotus paickan. Ja portti pandin kijnni sijtte cohta cuin he läxit jotca heitä ajoit taca.

7 And the men pursued after them the way to the Jordan to the fords and as soon as those who pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

7. And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

7. Aber die Männer jagten ihnen nach auf dem Wege zum Jordan bis an die Furt; und man schloß das Tor zu, da die hinaus waren, die ihnen nachjagten.

7. Y los hombres fueron tras ellos por el camino del Jordán hasta los vados: y la puerta fué cerrada después que salieron los que iban tras ellos.

7 Посланные гнались за ними по дороге к Иордану до самой переправы; ворота же тотчас затворили, после того как вышли погнавшиеся за ними.

8. Mutta ennenkuin he olivat laskeutuneet levolle, nousi hän heidän luoksensa katolle ja sanoi miehille:

8 And before they were laid down, she came up to them upon the roof.

8. Und ehe denn die Männer sich schlafen legten, stieg sie zu ihnen hinauf auf das Dach

8. Mas ántes que ellos durmiesen, ello subió a ellos sobre la techumbre, y díjoles:

8 Прежде нежели они легли спать, она взошла к ним на кровлю

9. Minä tiedän, että Herra antaa teille tämän maan ja että kauhu teitä kohtaan on vallannut meidät ja että kaikki maan asukkaat menehtyvät pelkoon teidän edessänne.

9. Ja sanoi miehille: minä tiedän, että Herra antaa teille tämän maan; sillä teidän pelkonne on langennut meidän päällemme, ja koko maan asuvaiset ovat hämmästyneet teidän kasvoinne edessä.

9. Ja sanoi heille: minä tiedän HERran andanexi teille tämän maan ja teidän pelcon langennexi meidän päällem ja coco maan asuwaiset hämmästynexi teidän caswon edes:

9 And she said to the men, I know that Jehovah has given you* the land and that the fear of you* has fallen upon us. And that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you*.

9. And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

9. und sprach zu ihnen: Ich weiß, daß der HERR euch das Land gegeben hat; denn ein Schrecken ist über uns gefallen vor euch, und alle Einwohner des Landes sind feig geworden.

9. Yo sé que Jehová os ha dado esta tierra: porque el temor de vosotros ha caido sobre nosotros: y todos los moradores de la tierra están desmayados por causa de vosotros.

9 и сказала им: я знаю, что Господь отдал землю сиювам, ибо вы навели на нас ужас, и все жители земли сей пришли от вас вробость;

10. Sillä me olemme kuulleet, kuinka Herra kuivasi Kaislameren vedet teidän tieltänne, kun lähditte Egyptistä, ja mitä te teitte niille kahdelle amorilaisten kuninkaalle tuolla puolella Jordanin, Siihonille ja Oogille, jotka te vihitte tuhon omiksi.

10. Sillä me olemme kuulleet, kuinka Herra kuivasi Punaisen meren vedet teidän edestänne lähteissänne Egyptistä, ja mitä te olette tehneet nille kahdelle Amorilaisten kuninkaalle, jotka olivat tuolla puolella Jordania, Sihonille ja Ogille, jotka te tapoitte.

10. Sillä me olemma cuullet cuinga HERra cuiwais punaisen meren wedet teidän edestän lähteisän Egyptist. Ja mitä te oletta tehnet nijlle cahdelle Amorrerein Cuningalle Sihonille ja Oggille tuolla puolen Jordanin cuinga te heidän kiroisitte.

10 For we have heard how Jehovah dried up the water of the Red Sea before you* when you* came out of Egypt and what you* did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and to Og, whom you* utterly destroyed.

10. For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

10. Denn wir haben gehört, wie der HERR hat das Wasser im Schilfmeer ausgetrocknet vor euch her, da ihr aus Ägypten zoget, und was ihr den zwei Königen der Amoriter, Sihon und Og, jenseit des Jordans getan habt, wie ihr sie verbannt habt.

10. Porque hemos oido que Jehová hizo secar las aguas del mar Bermejo delante de vosotros, cuando salisteis de la tierra de Egipto; y lo que habéis hecho a los dos reyes de los Amorreos, que estaban de esa parte del Jordán, Sejón, y Og, a los cuales destruisteis.

10 ибо мы слышали, как Господь иссушил пред вами воду Чермного моря, когда вы шли из Египта, и как поступили вы с двумя царями Аморрейскими за Иорданом, с Сигоном и Огом, которых вы истребили;

11. Kun me sen kuulimme, raukesi meidän sydämemme, eikä kenessäkään ole enää rohkeutta asettua teitä vastaan; sillä Herra, teidän Jumalanne, on Jumala ylhäällä taivaassa ja alhaalla maan päällä.

11. Kuin me sen kuulimme, niin meidän sydämemme raukesi, ja ei ole yhdelläkään rohkeutta teidän edessänne; sillä Herra teidän Jumalanne on Jumala ylhäällä taivaissa ja alhaalla maassa.

11. Cosca me sen cuulim nijn meidän sydämem raukeis ja ei ole yhdelläkän rohkeutta teidän edesän: sillä HERra teidän Jumalan on Jumala ylhällä taiwas ja alhalla maasa.

11 And as soon as we had heard it, our hearts melted, neither did there remain any more spirit in any man because of you*, for Jehovah your* God, he is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

11. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

11. Und seit wir solches gehört haben, ist unser Herz verzagt und ist kein Mut mehr in jemand vor euch; denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist Gott oben im Himmel und unten auf Erden.

11. Oyendo esto ha desmayado nuestro corazon; ni más ha quedado espíritu en alguno por causa de vosotros. Porque Jehová vuestro Dios, es Dios arriba en los cielos, y abajo en la tierra.

11 когда мы услышали об этом, ослабело сердце наше, и ни в ком из нас не стало духа против вас; ибо Господь Бог ваш есть Бог на небе вверху и на земле внизу;

12. Niin vannokaa nyt minulle Herran kautta, että niinkuin minä olen tehnyt teille laupeuden, tekin teette laupeuden minun isäni perheelle; ja antakaa minulle varma merkki siitä,

12. Niin vannokaat nyt minulle Herran kautta, sillä minä tein armon teidän kohtaanne, että te myös teette armon minun isäni huoneelle ja annatte minulle totuuden merkin,

12. Nijn wannocat sijs minulle HERran cautta ( sillä minä tein armon teidän cohtan ) että te teette armon minun Isäni huonelle ja annatte minulle wahwan merkin/

12 Now therefore, I beseech you*, swear to me by Jehovah, since I have dealt kindly with you*, that you* also will deal kindly with my father's house and give me a true token,

12. Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

12. So schwört mir nun bei dem HERRN, daß, weil ich an euch Barmherzigkeit getan habe, ihr auch an meines Vaters Hause Barmherzigkeit tut; und gebt mir ein gewisses Zeichen,

12. Ruégoos pues ahora, que me juréis por Jehová, que como yo he hecho misericordia con vosotros, así la haréis vosotros, con la casa de mi padre, de lo cual me daréis una cierta señal;

12 итак поклянитесь мне Господом что, как я сделала вам милость, так и вы сделаете милость дому отца моего, и дайте мне верный знак,

13. että jätätte eloon minun isäni, äitini, veljeni, sisareni ja kaikki heidän omaisensa ja pelastatte meidät kuolemasta.

13. Että te jätätte elämään minun isäni, ja äitini, ja veljeni, ja sisareni, ja kaikki jotka heidän omansa ovat ja vapahdatte meidän sielumme kuolemasta.

13. Että te elämän jätätte minun Isäni ja äitini ja weljeni ja sisareni ja caicki cuin heidän omans owat ja wapahdatte meidän sielum cuolemast.

13 and that you* will save alive my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters and all that they have and will deliver our lives from death.

13. And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

13. daß ihr leben lasset meinen Vater, meine Mutter, meine Brüder und meine Schwestern und alles, was sie haben, und errettet unsere Seelen vom Tode.

13. Y que daréis la vida a mi padre y a mi madre; y a mis hermanos y hermanas, y a todo lo que es suyo; y que escaparéis nuestras vidas de la muerte.

13 что вы сохраните в живых отца моего и матерь мою, и братьев моих и сестер моих, и всех, кто есть у них, и избавите души наши от смерти.

14. Niin miehet sanoivat hänelle: Me vastaamme hengellämme teidän hengestänne, jos vain ette ilmaise tätä meidän asiaamme. Kun Herra antaa meille tämän maan, niin me osoitamme sinulle laupeutta ja uskollisuutta.

14. Ja miehet sanoivat hänelle: meidän sielumme kuolkaan teidän edestänne, jolles vaan petä tätä meidän asiaamme, jollemme tee armoa ja totuutta sinua kohtaan, kuin Herra tämän maan meille antaa.

14. Ja miehet sanoit hänelle: meidän sielum cuolcan teidän edestän jollen me tee armo ja totutta sinun cohtas cosca HERra tämän maan meille anda jolles waiwon petä tätä meidän asiatam.

14 And the men said to her, Our life for yours* if you* do not utter this our business. And it will be, when Jehovah gives us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you.

14. And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

14. Die Männer sprachen zu ihr: Tun wir nicht Barmherzigkeit und Treue an dir, wenn uns der HERR das Land gibt, so soll unsere Seele für euch des Todes sein, sofern du unser Geschäft nicht verrätst.

14. Y ellos le respondieron: Nuestra alma será por vosotros hasta la muerte, si no denunciareis este nuestro negocio: y cuando Jehová nos hubiere dado la tierra, nosotros haremos contigo misericordia y verdad.

14 Эти люди сказали ей: душа наша вместо вас да будет предана смерти, если вы не откроете сего дела нашего; когда же Господь предаст нам землю, мы окажем тебе милость и истину.

15. Ja hän laski heidät köydellä alas ikkunasta, sillä hänen talonsa oli kiinni kaupungin muurissa, niin että hän asui muurissa kiinni.

15. Ja hän laski heidät köydellä akkunasta alas; sillä hänen huoneensa oli kaupungin muurissa, ja hän asui juuri muurissa.

15. Ja hän laski heidän köydellä ackunast: sillä hänen huonens oli Caupungin muuris ja asui juuri muuris.

15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window, for her house was upon the side of the wall and she dwelt upon the wall.

15. Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.

15. Da ließ sie dieselben am Seil durchs Fenster hernieder; denn ihr Haus war an der Stadtmauer, und sie wohnte auch auf der Mauer.

15. Entónces ella los hizo descender con una cuerda por la ventana: porque su casa estaba a la pared del muro: y ella vivía en el muro.

15 И спустила она их по веревке чрез окно, ибо дом ее был в городской стене, и она жила в стене;

16. Ja hän sanoi heille: Menkää vuoristoon, etteivät takaa-ajajat kohtaisi teitä, ja olkaa siellä piilossa kolme päivää, kunnes takaa-ajajat ovat palanneet; sitten voitte lähteä matkaanne.

16. Ja hän sanoi heille: menkäät vuorelle, ettei ne teitä kohtaisi, jotka ajavat teitä takaa, ja olkaat siellä lymyssä kolme päivää, niinkauvan että takaa-ajajat palajavat, ja menkäät sitte tietänne.

16. Ja hän sanoi heille: mengät wuorelle ettei ne teitä cohdais jotca ajawat teitä taca ja olcat siellä lymys colme päiwä nijncauwan että tacaajajat palajawat ja mengät sijtte teidän tietän.

16 And she said to them, You* get to the mountain lest the pursuers come upon you*. And hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned and afterward you* may go your* way.

16. And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

16. Und sie sprach zu ihnen: Geht auf das Gebirge, daß euch nicht begegnen, die euch nachjagen, und verbergt euch daselbst drei Tage, bis daß sie wiederkommen, die euch nachjagen; darnach geht eure Straße.

16. Y díjoles: Idos al monte: porque los que fueron tras vosotros, no os encuentren: y estád escondidos allá tres dias, hasta que los que os siguen, hayan vuelto: y después os iréis vuestro camino.

16 и сказала им: идите на гору, чтобы не встретили вас преследующие, и скрывайтесь там три дня, доколе не возвратятся погнавшиеся завами ; а после пойдете в путь ваш.

17. Niin miehet sanoivat hänelle: Me olemme vapaat siitä valasta, jonka meillä vannotit,

17. Ja miehet sanoivat hänelle: vapaat me olemme tästä valastas, jolla meitä vannotit.

17. JA miehet sanoit hänelle: wapat me olemma tästä walasta jollas meitä wannotit.

17 And the men said to her, We will be guiltless of this your oath which you have made us to swear.

17. And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

17. Die Männer aber sprachen zu ihr: Wir wollen aber des Eides los sein, den du von uns genommen hast,

17. Y ellos le dijeron: Nosotros seremos desobligados de este tu juramento con que nos has conjurado, en esta manera:

17 И сказали ей те люди: мы свободны будем от твоей клятвы, которою ты нас закляла, если не сделаешь так :

18. jollet sinä, kun me tulemme tähän maahan, sido tätä punaista nauhaa siihen ikkunaan, josta laskit meidät alas, ja kokoa isääsi, äitiäsi, veljiäsi ja isäsi koko perhettä luoksesi taloon.

18. Katso, kuin maahan sisälle tulemme, niin sinun pitää ripustaman tämän punaisen köyden akkunaan, josta meidät laskit alas, ja sinun pitää kokooman tykös huoneesees isäs ja äitis ja veljes ja koko isäs huoneen.

18 Behold, when we come into the land, you will bind this line of scarlet cord in the window which you let us down by. And you will gather to you into the house your father and your mother and your brothers and all your father's household.

18. Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

18. wenn wir kommen ins Land und du nicht dies rote Seil in das Fenster knüpfst, womit du uns herniedergelassen hast, und zu dir ins Haus versammelst deinen Vater, deine Mutter, deine Brüder und deines Vaters ganzes Haus.

18. Que cuando nosotros entraremos la tierra, tú atarás esta cuerda de grana a la ventana por la cual nos descendiste, y tú juntarás en tu casa tu padre y tu madre, tus hermanos y toda la familia de tu padre.

18 вот, когда мы придем в эту землю, ты привяжи червленую веревку кокну, чрез которое ты нас спустила, а отца твоего и матерь твою и братьев твоих, все семейство отца твоего собери к себе в дом твой;

19. Ja kuka vain menee talosi ovesta ulos, sen veri tulkoon hänen oman päänsä päälle, ja me olemme vastuusta vapaat; mutta kuka vain on sinun kanssasi talossa, sen veri tulkoon meidän päämme päälle, jos kenen käsi sattuu häneen.

19. Mutta jos joku käy huonees ovesta ulos, hänen verensä olkoon oman päänsä päällä, ja me olemme viattomat; ja joka ikänä sinun kanssas huoneessa on, hänen verensä olkoon meidän päämme päällä, jos jonkun käsi häneen sattuu.

19 And it will be, that whoever will go out of the doors of your house into the street, his blood will be upon his head and we will be guiltless. And whoever will be with you in the house, his blood will be on our head if any hand be upon him.

19. And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

19. Und wer zu Tür deines Hauses herausgeht, des Blut sei auf seinem Haupt, und wir unschuldig; aber aller, die in deinem Hause sind, so eine Hand an sie gelegt wird, so soll ihr Blut auf unserm Haupt sein.

19. Cualquiera que saliere fuera de las puertas de tu casa, su sangre será sobre su cabeza y nosotros seremos sin culpa. Mas cualquiera que se estuviere en casa contigo, su sangre será sobre nuestra cabeza si mano le tocare.

19 и если кто-нибудь выйдет из дверей твоего дома вон, того кровь на голове его, а мы свободны будем от сей клятвы твоей ; а кто будет с тобою в твоем доме, того кровь на голове нашей, если чья рука коснется его;

20. Mutta jos sinä ilmaiset tämän meidän asiamme, niin me olemme vapaat valasta, jonka meillä vannotit.

20. Vaan jos sinä petät tämän meidän asiamme, niin me olemme vapaat sinun valastas, jolla meitä vannottanut olet.

20. Waan jos sinä petät tämän meidän asiam nijn me olem wapat sijtä walasta jonga me sinulle wannonet olemma.

20 But if you utter this our business, then we will be guiltless of your oath which you have made us to swear.

20. And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

20. Und so du etwas von diesem unserm Geschäft wirst aussagen, so wollen wir des Eides los sein, den du von uns genommen hast.

20. Mas si tú denunciares este nuestro negocio, nosotros seremos desobligados de este tu juramento con que nos has juramentado.

20 если же ты откроешь сие наше дело, то мы также свободны будем от клятвы твоей, которою ты нас закляла.

21. Ja hän sanoi: Olkoon, niinkuin sanotte, ja päästi heidät menemään, ja he lähtivät. Ja hän sitoi sen punaisen nauhan ikkunaan.

21. Hän vastasi: olkoon niinkuin te sanotte; ja päästi heidät menemään, ja he menivät pois; ja hän ripusti punaisen köyden akkunaan.

21 And she said, According to your* words, so be it. And she sent them away and they departed. And she bound the scarlet line in the window.

21. Sie sprach: Es sei, wie ihr sagt, und ließ sie gehen. Und sie gingen hin. Und sie knüpfte das rote Seil ins Fenster.

21. Y ella respondió: Como habéis dicho, así sea. Y así los envió, y se fueron; y ella ató la cuerda de grana a la ventana.

21 Она сказала: да будет по словам вашим! И отпустила их, и они пошли, а она привязала к окну червленую веревку.

22. Niin he lähtivät ja tulivat vuoristoon ja viipyivät siellä kolme päivää, kunnes takaa-ajajat olivat palanneet. Ja takaa-ajajat etsivät heitä kaikkialta tien varrelta, mutta eivät löytäneet.

22 And they went and came to the mountain and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned. And the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but did not find them.

22. Sie aber gingen hin und kamen aufs Gebirge und blieben drei Tage daselbst, bis daß die wiederkamen, die ihnen nachjagten. Denn sie hatten sie gesucht auf allen Straßen, und doch nicht gefunden.

22. Y caminando ellos llegaron al monte y estuviéronse allí tres dias, hasta que los que les seguían, fuesen vueltos: y los que los siguieron, buscaron por todo el camino, mas no los hallaron.

22 Они пошли и пришли на гору, и пробыли там три дня, доколе не возвратились гнавшиеся за ними . Гнавшиеся искали их по всей дороге и не нашли.

23. Sitten nuo kaksi miestä kääntyivät paluumatkalle. He laskeutuivat alas vuoristosta, menivät virran yli ja tulivat Joosuan, Nuunin pojan, luo ja kertoivat hänelle kaikki, mitä heille oli tapahtunut.

23. Niin ne molemmat miehet palasivat, sittekuin he olivat astuneet vuorelta alas, menivät ylitse, ja tulivat Josuan Nunin pojan tykö ja juttelivat hänelle kaikki, mitä heille tapahtunut oli.

23 Then the two men returned and descended from the mountain and passed over and came to Joshua the son of Nun. And they told him all that had befallen them.

23. So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:

23. Also kehrten die zwei Männer wieder und gingen vom Gebirge und fuhren über und kamen zu Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, und erzählten ihm alles, wie sie es gefunden hatten,

23. Y tornándose los dos varones descendieron del monte, y pasaron, y vinieron a Josué hijo de Nun: y contáronle todas las cosas que les habían acontecido.

23 Таким образом два сии человека пошли назад, сошли с горы, перешли Иордан и пришли к Иисусу, сыну Навину, ипересказали ему все, что с ними случилось.

24. Ja he sanoivat Joosualle: Herra on antanut koko maan meidän käsiimme, ja kaikki maan asukkaat menehtyvät pelkoon meidän edessämme.

24 And they said to Joshua, Truly Jehovah has delivered into our hands all the land and moreover all the inhabitants of the land melt away before us.

24. And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

24. und sprachen zu Josua: Der HERR hat uns alles Land in unsre Hände gegeben; so sind auch alle Einwohner des Landes feig vor uns.

24. Y dijeron a Josué: Jehová ha entregado toda la tierra en nuestras manos: y también todos los moradores de la tierra están desmayados delante de nosotros.

24 И сказали Иисусу: Господь предал всю землю сию в руки наши, и всежители земли в страхе от нас.
