Israel tekee parannuksen. Filistealaisten tappio. Samuel tuomarina.

1. Niin Kirjat-Jearimin miehet tulivat ja veivät Herran arkin sinne ja toivat sen Abinadabin taloon mäelle. Ja hänen poikansa Eleasarin he pyhittivät pitämään huolta Herran arkista.

1 And the men of Kiriath-jearim came and fetched up the ark of Jehovah and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill and made Eleazar his son holy to keep the ark of Jehovah.

1. And the men of Kirjathjearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.

1. Also kamen die Leute von Kirjath-Jearim und holten die Lade des HERRN hinauf und brachten sie ins Haus Abinadabs auf dem Hügel; und seinen Sohn Eleasar heiligten sie, daß er die Lade des HERRN hütete.

1. Y VINIERON los de Cariat-jarim, y trajeron el arca de Jehová, y metiéronla en casa de Abinadab en Gabaa: y santificaron a Eleazar su hijo, para que guardase el arca de Jehová.

1 И пришли жители Кириаф-Иарима, и взяли ковчег Господа, и принесли его в дом Аминадава, на холм, а Елеазара, сына его, посвятили, чтобы онхранил ковчег Господа.

2. Ja siitä päivästä, jona arkki oli asettunut Kirjat-Jearimiin, kului pitkä aika, kului kaksikymmentä vuotta; ja koko Israelin heimo huokaili Herran puoleen.

2 And it happened, from the day that the ark abode in Kiriath-jearim, that the time was long, for it was twenty years and all the house of Israel lamented after Jehovah.

2. And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD.

2. Und von dem Tage an, da die Lade des HERRN zu Kirjath-Jearim blieb, verzog sich die Zeit so lange, bis es zwanzig Jahre wurden; und das ganze Haus Israel weinte vor dem HERRN.

2. Y aconteció que desde el día que llegó el arca a Cariat-jarim pasaron muchos dias, veinte años: y toda la casa de Israel lamentaba tras Jehová.

2 С того дня, как остался ковчег в Кириаф-Иариме, прошло много времени, лет двадцать. И обратился весь дом Израилев к Господу.

3. Mutta Samuel sanoi koko Israelin heimolle näin: Jos te kaikesta sydämestänne käännytte Herran puoleen, niin poistakaa keskuudestanne vieraat jumalat ja astartet ja kiinnittäkää sydämenne Herraan ja palvelkaa ainoastaan häntä, niin hän pelastaa teidät filistealaisten käsistä.

3. Mutta Samuel puhui koko Israelin huoneelle, sanoen: jos te käännätte teitänne kaikesta sydämestänne Herran tykö, niin heittäkäät teiltänne vieraat jumalat ja Astharot pois, ja valmistakaat teidän sydämenne Herran tykö, ja palvelkaat häntä ainoaa, niin hän pelastaa teidät Philistealaisten käsistä.

3. MUtta Samuel sanoi coco Israelin huonelle jos te käännätte teitän caikesta sydämestän HERran tygö nijn heittäkät teildän wierat jumalat ja Astharoth pois ja walmistacat teidän sydämen HERran tygö ja palwelcat händä ainoata nijn hän pelasta teidän Philisterein käsistä.

3 And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, If you* do return to Jehovah with all your* heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you* and direct your* hearts to Jehovah and serve him only. And he will deliver you* out of the hand of the Philistines.

3. And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

3. Samuel aber sprach zum ganzen Hause Israel: So ihr euch mit ganzem Herzen bekehrt zu dem HERRN, so tut von euch die fremden Götter und die Astharoth und richtet euer Herz zu dem HERRN und dienet ihm allein, so wird er euch erretten aus der Philister Hand.

3. Y habló Samuel a toda la casa de Israel, diciendo: Si de todo vuestro corazón os volvéis a Jehová, quitád los dioses ajenos, y a Astarot de entre vosotros, y preparád vuestro corazón a Jehová, y servíd a él solo, y él os librará de mano de los Filisteos.

3 И сказал Самуил всему дому Израилеву, говоря: если вы всем сердцемсвоим обращаетесь к Господу, то удалите из среды себя богов иноземных и Астарт и расположите сердце ваше к Господу, и служите Ему одному, и Он избавит васот руки Филистимлян.

4. Niin israelilaiset poistivat baalit ja astartet ja palvelivat ainoastaan Herraa.

4. Niin heittivät Israelin lapset heiltänsä Baalin ja Astharotin pois, ja palvelivat ainoaa Herraa.

4. Nijn heitit Israelin lapset heildäns Baalim ja Astharothin pois ja palwelit ainoata HErra.

4 Then the sons of Israel did put away the Baals {Baalim} and the Ashtaroth and served Jehovah only.

4. Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only.

4. Da taten die Kinder Israel von sich die Baalim und die Astharoth und dienten dem HERRN allein.

4. Entónces los hijos de Israel quitaron a los Baales, y a Astarot, y sirvieron a solo Jehová.

4 И удалили сыны Израилевы Ваалов и Астарт и стали служить одномуГосподу.

5. Ja Samuel sanoi: Kootkaa koko Israel Mispaan, ja minä rukoilen teidän puolestanne Herraa.

5. Ja Samuel sanoi: kootkaat kaikki Israel Mitspaan: ja minä rukoilen teidän edestänne Herraa.

5. Ja Samuel sanoi: cootca Israel Mizpaan ja minä rucoilen teidän edestän HERra.

5 And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpah and I will pray for you* to Jehovah.

5. And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpeh, and I will pray for you unto the LORD.

5. Samuel aber sprach: Versammelt das ganze Israel gen Mizpa, daß ich für euch bitte zum HERRN.

5. Y Samuel dijo: Juntád a todo Israel en Maspa, y yo oraré por vosotros a Jehová.

5 И сказал Самуил: соберите всех Израильтян в Массифу и я помолюсь о вас Господу.

6. Niin he kokoontuivat Mispaan, ammensivat vettä ja vuodattivat sitä Herran eteen sekä paastosivat sen päivän; ja he sanoivat siellä: Me olemme tehneet syntiä Herraa vastaan. Ja Samuel jakoi israelilaisille oikeutta Mispassa.

6. Ja he tulivat Mitspaan kokoon, ammunsivat vettä ja kaasivat Herran eteen, paastosivat sen päivän, ja sanoivat siinä paikassa: me olemme syntiä tehneet Herraa vastaan! Ja Samuel tuomitsi Israelin lapsia Mitspassa.

6. Ja he tulit Mizpaan cocoon ammunsit wettä ja caasit HERran eteen paastoisit sen päiwän ja sanoit sijnä paicas: me olem syndiä tehnet HERra wastan. Ja Samuel duomidzi Israelin lapset Mizpas.

6 And they gathered together to Mizpah and drew water and poured it out before Jehovah and fasted on that day and said there, We have sinned against Jehovah. And Samuel judged the sons of Israel in Mizpah.

6. And they gathered together to Mizpeh, and drew water, and poured it out before the LORD, and fasted on that day, and said there, We have sinned against the LORD. And Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.

6. Und sie kamen zusammen gen Mizpa und schöpften Wasser und gossen's aus vor dem HERRN und fasteten denselben Tag und sprachen daselbst: Wir haben an dem HERRN gesündigt. Also richtete Samuel die Kinder Israel zu Mizpa.

6. Y juntándose en Maspa, sacaron agua, y derramaron delante de Jehová: y ayunáron aquel día, y dijeron allí: Contra Jehová habemos pecado. Y juzgó Samuel a los hijos de Israel en Maspa.

6 И собрались в Массифу, и черпали воду, и проливали пред Господом, и постились в тот день, говоря: согрешили мы пред Господом. И судил Самуил сынов Израилевых в Массифе.

7. Kun filistealaiset kuulivat israelilaisten kokoontuneen Mispaan, lähtivät filistealaisten ruhtinaat Israelia vastaan. Kun israelilaiset kuulivat sen, pelkäsivät he filistealaisia.

7. Kuin Philistealaiset kuulivat Israelin lapset kokoontuneeksi Mitspaan, menivät Philistealaisten päämiehet Israelia vastaan. Kuin Israelin lapset sen kuulivat, pelkäsivät he Philistealaisia.

7. COsca Philisterit cuulit Israelin lapset cocondunexi Mizpaan menit Philisterein päämiehet Israeli wastan. Cosca Israelin lapset sen cuulit pelkäisit he Philisterejä.

7 And when the Philistines heard that the sons of Israel were gathered together to Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the sons of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.

7. And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.

7. Da aber die Philister hörten, daß die Kinder Israel zusammengekommen waren gen Mizpa, zogen die Fürsten der Philister hinauf wider Israel. Da das die Kinder Israel hörten, fürchteten sie sich vor den Philistern{~}

7. Y oyendo los Filisteos que los hijos de Israel estaban congregados en Maspa, subieron los príncipes de los Filisteos contra Israel. Lo cual como oyeron los hijos de Israel, hubieron temor de los Filisteos.

7 Когда же услышали Филистимляне, что собрались сыны Израилевы в Массифу, тогда пошли владетели Филистимские на Израиля. Израильтяне, услышав о том , убоялись Филистимлян.

8. Ja israelilaiset sanoivat Samuelille: Älä kieltäydy huutamasta meidän puolestamme Herraa, meidän Jumalaamme, että hän pelastaisi meidät filistealaisten käsistä.

8. Ja Israelin lapset sanoivat Samuelille: älä lakkaa huutamasta meidän edestämme Herran meidän Jumalamme tykö, että hän meidät pelastais Philistealaisten käsistä.

8. Ja sanoit Samuelille: älä lacka huutamast meidän edestäm HERran meidän Jumalam tygö että hän meidän pelastais Philisterein käsistä.

8 And the sons of Israel said to Samuel, Do not cease to cry to Jehovah our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

8. And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.

8. und sprachen zu Samuel: Laß nicht ab, für uns zu schreien zu dem HERRN, unserm Gott, daß er uns helfe aus der Philister Hand.

8. Y dijeron los hijos de Israel a Samuel: No ceses de clamar por nosotros a Jehová nuestro Dios, que nos guarde de mano de los Filisteos.

8 И сказали сыны Израилевы Самуилу: не переставай взывать о нас к Господу Богу нашему, чтоб он спас нас от руки Филистимлян.

9. Niin Samuel otti imevän karitsan ja uhrasi sen polttouhriksi, kokonaisuhriksi, Herralle; ja Samuel huusi Herraa Israelin puolesta, ja Herra kuuli häntä.

9. Niin Samuel otti yhden imevän karitsan ja uhrasi sen kokonansa Herralle polttouhriksi; ja Samuel huusi Herran tykö Israelin edestä, ja Herra kuuli hänen rukouksensa.

9. Nijn Samuel otti imewän caridzan ja uhrais sen coconans HERralle polttouhrixi ja huusi HERran tygö Israelin edest ja HERra cuuli hänen rucouxens.

9 And Samuel took a sucking lamb and offered it for a whole burnt offering to Jehovah. And Samuel cried to Jehovah for Israel and Jehovah answered him.

9. And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.

9. Samuel nahm ein Milchlämmlein und opferte dem HERRN ein ganzes Brandopfer und schrie zum HERRN für Israel; und der HERR erhörte ihn.

9. Y Samuel tomó un cordero de leche, y sacrificóle a Jehová en holocausto entero: y clamó Samuel a Jehová por Israel, y Jehová le oyó.

9 И взял Самуил одного ягненка от сосцов, и принес его во всесожжение Господу, и воззвал Самуил к Господу о Израиле, и услышал его Господь.

10. Sillä kun Samuelin uhratessa polttouhria filistealaiset lähestyivät käydäkseen taisteluun Israelia vastaan, niin sinä päivänä Herra jylisi kovalla ukkosen jylinällä filistealaisia vastaan ja saattoi heidät hämminkiin, niin että Israel voitti heidät.

10. Ja kuin Samuel uhrasi polttouhrin, lähestyivät Philistealaiset sotimaan Israelia vastaan; mutta Herra jylisti sinä päivänä suurella pauhinalla Philistealaisten ylitse ja peljätti heidät, niin että he lyötiin Israelin edessä.

10 And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel, but Jehovah thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines and confused them and they were struck down before Israel.

10. And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.

10. Und indem Samuel das Brandopfer opferte, kamen die Philister herzu, zu streiten wider Israel. Aber der HERR ließ donnern einen großen Donner über die Philister desselben Tages und schreckte sie, daß sie vor Israel geschlagen wurden.

10. Y aconteció que estando Samuel sacrificando el holocausto, los Filisteos llegaron para pelear con los hijos de Israel. Mas Jehová tronó con gran sonido aquel día sobre los Filisteos, y quebrantólos y fueron vencidos delante de Israel.

10 И когда Самуил возносил всесожжение, Филистимляне пришли воеватьс Израилем. Но Господь возгремел в тот день сильным громом над Филистимлянами и навел на них ужас, и они были поражены пред Израилем.

11. Ja Israelin miehet lähtivät Mispasta ja ajoivat filistealaisia takaa, surmaten heitä aina Beet-Kaarin alapuolelle asti.

11. Niin Israelin miehet menivät ulos Mitspasta, ja ajoivat Philistealaisia takaa, ja löivät heidät aina BetKarin alle.

11. Nijn Israelin miehet menit Mizpast ja ajoit Philisterejä taca ja löit heidän aina BethCarin ala.

11 And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines and killed* them until they came under Beth-car.

11. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Bethcar.

11. Da zogen die Männer Israels aus von Mizpa und jagten die Philister und schlugen sie bis unter Beht-Kar.

11. Y saliendo los hijos de Israel de Maspa, siguieron a los Filisteos hiriéndolos hasta abajo de Betcar.

11 И выступили Израильтяне из Массифы, и преследовали Филистимлян, ипоражали их до места под Вефхором.

12. Ja Samuel otti kiven ja pani sen Mispan ja Seenin välille ja antoi sille nimen Eben-Eser ja sanoi: Tähän asti on Herra meitä auttanut.

12. Ja Samuel otti kiven ja pani Mitspan ja Senin välille, ja kutsui sen nimen EbenEtser, ja sanoi: tähän asti on Herra auttanut meitä.

12. Silloin otti Samuel kiwen ja pani Mizpan ja Senin wälille ja cudzui hänen EbenEzer ja sanoi: tähän asti on HERra auttanut meitä.

12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Jehovah has helped us to now.

12. Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.

12. Da nahm Samuel einen Stein und setzte ihn zwischen Mizpa und Sen und hieß ihn Eben-Ezer und sprach: Bis hierher hat uns der HERR geholfen.

12. Y Samuel tomó una piedra, y púsola entre Maspa y Sen, y púsole nombre Eben-ezer, diciendo: Hasta aquí nos ayudó Jehová.

12 И взял Самуил один камень, и поставил между Массифою и между Сеном, и назвал его Авен-Езер, сказав: до сего места помог нам Господь.

13. Niin filistealaiset lannistettiin, eivätkä he enää tulleet Israelin alueelle. Ja Herran käsi oli filistealaisia vastaan Samuelin koko elinajan.

13. Ja niin Philistealaiset poljettiin, eikä enää tulleet Israelin rajoille. Ja Herran käsi oli Philistealaisia vastaan niinkauvan kuin Samuel eli.

13. Ja nijn Philisterit poljettin ja ei enämbi tullet Israelin rajoille. Ja HERran käsi oli Philisterejä wastan nijncauwan cuin Samuel eli.

13 So the Philistines were subdued and they came no more within the border of Israel and the hand of Jehovah was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

13. So the Philistines were subdued, and they came no more into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

13. Also wurden die Philister gedämpft und kamen nicht mehr in die Grenze Israels; und die Hand des HERRN war wider die Philister, solange Samuel lebte.

13. Y los Filisteos fueron humillados, que no vinieron más al término de Israel: y la mano de Jehová fué contra los Filisteos todo el tiempo de Samuel.

13 Так усмирены были Филистимляне, и не стали болееходить в пределы Израилевы; и была рука Господня на Филистимлянах во все дни Самуила.

14. Ja ne kaupungit, jotka filistealaiset olivat ottaneet Israelilta, joutuivat takaisin Israelille, Ekronista Gatiin saakka; ja myös niiden alueet Israel vapautti filistealaisten käsistä. Myöskin Israelin ja amorilaisten välillä oli rauha.

14. Niin Israelin lapset saivat ne kaupungit jälleen, jotka Philistealaiset heiltä olivat ottaneet pois, Ekronista Gatiin saakka, rajoinensa. Ne vapahti Israel Philistealaisten käsistä; sillä Israelilla oli rauha Amorilaisten kanssa.

14. Nijn Israelin lapset sait ne Caupungit jällens cuin Philisterit heildä olit ottanet pois Ekronist Gathin saacka rajoinens. Ne wapahti Israel Philisterein käsistä: sillä Israelillä oli rauha Amorrerein cansa.

14 And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even to Gath. And Israel delivered the border of it out of the hand of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.

14. And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.

14. Also wurden Israel die Städte wieder, die die Philister ihnen genommen hatten, von Ekron an bis gen Gath, samt ihrem Gebiet; die errettete Israel von der Hand der Philister. Und Israel hatte Frieden mit den Amoritern.

14. Y fueron tornadas a los hijos de Israel las ciudades, que los Filisteos habían tomado a los Israelitas desde Accarón hasta Get, con sus términos, e Israel las libró de mano de los Filisteos. Y hubo paz entre Israel y el Amorreo.

14 И возвращены были Израилю города, которые взяли Филистимляне у Израиля, от Аккарона и до Гефа, и пределы их освободил Израиль из рук Филистимлян, и был мир между Израилем и Аморреями.

15. Samuel oli tuomarina Israelissa koko elinaikansa.

15. Ja Samuel tuomitsi Israelia kaiken elinaikansa,

15 And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life.

15. Samuel aber richtete Israel sein Leben lang{~}

15. Y juzgó Samuel a Israel todo el tiempo que vivió.

15 И был Самуил судьею Израиля во все дни жизни своей:

16. Ja hän teki joka vuosi kiertomatkoja Beeteliin, Gilgaliin ja Mispaan, ja hän jakoi Israelille oikeutta kaikissa näissä paikoissa.

16. Ja vaelsi joka vuosi ympäri BetElin ja Gilgalin ja Mitspan. Ja kuin hän oli tuominnut Israelia kaikissa näissä paikoissa,

16 And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel and Gilgal and Mizpah. And he judged Israel in all those places.

16. und zog jährlich umher zu Beth-El und Gilgal und Mizpa. Und wenn er Israel an allen diesen Orten gerichtet hatte,

16. E iba todos los años, y daba vuelta a Betel y a Galgal, y a Maspa, y juzgaba a Israel en todos estos lugares:

16 из года в год он ходил и обходил Вефиль, и Галгал и Массифу и судил Израиля во всех сих местах;

17. Sitten hän palasi jälleen Raamaan, sillä siellä oli hänen kotinsa ja siellä hän jakoi oikeutta Israelille. Ja hän rakensi sinne alttarin Herralle.

17. Tuli hän Ramaan jälleen; sillä siellä oli hänen huoneensa ja siellä hän tuomitsi Israelia, ja rakensi Herralle siellä alttarin.

17. Tuli hän Ramathan jällens: sillä sielä oli hänen huonens ja siellä hän duomidzi Israeli ja rakensi HERralle siellä Altarin.

17 And his return was to Ramah, for his house was there. And there he judged Israel and there he built an altar to Jehovah.

17. And his return was to Ramah; for there was his house; and there he judged Israel; and there he built an altar unto the LORD.

17. kam er wieder gen Rama (denn da war sein Haus) und richtete Israel daselbst und baute dem HERRN daselbst einen Altar.

17. Y volvíase a Rama; porque allí estaba su casa, y allí también juzgaba a Israel, y edificó allí altar a Jehová.

17 потом возвращался в Раму; ибо там был дом его, и там судил он Израиля, и построил там жертвенник Господу.
