Herran arkki filistealaisten maassa. Herran käsi painaa filistealaisia.

1. Kun filistealaiset olivat ryöstäneet Jumalan arkin, veivät he sen Eben-Eseristä Asdodiin.

1. Ja Philistealaiset ottivat Jumalan arkin ja veivät sen EbenEtseristä Asdodiin,

1 Now the Philistines had taken the ark of God and they brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.

1. And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.

1. Die Philister aber nahmen die Lade Gottes und brachten sie von Eben-Ezer gen Asdod

1. Y LOS Filisteos tomada el arca de Dios, la trajeron desde Eben-ezer a Azoto.

1 Филистимляне же взяли ковчег Божий и принесли его из Авен-Езера в Азот.

2. Ja filistealaiset ottivat Jumalan arkin ja veivät sen Daagonin temppeliin ja asettivat sen Daagonin rinnalle.

2. Ja veivät sen sisälle Dagonin huoneesen ja asettivat sen Dagonin rinnalle.

2. ja weit EbenEzerist Asdodijn Dagonin huoneseen ja asetit hänen Dagonin tygö.

2 And the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon.

2. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.

2. Y tomaron los Filisteos el arca de Dios, y metiéronla en la casa de Dagón, y pusiéronla junto a Dagón.

2 И взяли Филистимляне ковчег Божий, и внесли его в храм Дагона, и поставили его подле Дагона.

3. Kun asdodilaiset nousivat varhain seuraavana päivänä, niin katso: Daagon makasi kasvoillaan maassa Herran arkin edessä. Mutta he ottivat Daagonin ja asettivat sen takaisin paikoillensa.

3. Ja Asdodilaiset nousivat toisena päivänä varhain, ja katso, Dagon makasi suullansa maassa Herran arkin edessä; mutta he ottivat Dagonin ja nostivat entiselle siallensa.

3. Ja cosca Asdoditerit toisna päiwänä warhain nousit cadzo löysit he Dagonin macawan suullans maasa HERran Arkin edes. Mutta he otit Dagonin ja nostit endiselle siallens.

3 And when those of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah. And they took Dagon and set him in his place again.

3. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

3. Und da die von Asdod des andern Morgens früh aufstanden, fanden sie Dagon auf seinem Antlitz liegen auf der Erde vor der Lade des HERRN. Aber sie nahmen den Dagon und setzten ihn wieder an seinen Ort.

3. Y el siguiente día los de Azoto se levantaron de mañana, y, he aquí Dagón postrado en tierra delante del arca de Jehová: y tomaron a Dagón, y volviéronle a su lugar.

3 И встали Азотяне рано на другой день, и вот, Дагон лежит лицем своим к земле пред ковчегом Господним. И взяли они Дагона и опять поставили его на свое место.

4. Kun he taas nousivat varhain seuraavana aamuna, niin katso: Daagon makasi kasvoillaan maassa Herran arkin edessä, mutta Daagonin pää ja molemmat kädet olivat katkaistuina kynnyksellä, ja ainoastaan muu ruumis oli jäljellä.

4. Ja he nousivat toisena huomenna, ja katso, Dagon makasi suullansa maassa Herran arkin edessä, mutta Dagonin pää ja molemmat hänen kätensä olivat poikki hakattuina kynnyksellä, ja muu ruumis vain oli jälellä.

4. Cosca he toisna huomena nousit jällens cadzo löysit he Dagonin jällens macawan suullans maasa HERran Arkin edes. Mutta hänen pääns ja molemmat kätens olit hacatut kynnyxellä pois ja muu ruumis macais sijnä.

4 And when they arose early on the morning of the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands (lay) cut off upon the threshold. Only (the stump of) Dagon was left to him.

4. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

4. Da sie aber des andern Morgens früh aufstanden, fanden sie Dagon abermals auf seinem Antlitz liegen auf der Erde vor der Lade des HERRN, aber sein Haupt und seine beiden Hände waren abgehauen auf der Schwelle, daß der Rumpf allein dalag.

4. Y tornándose a levantar de mañana el día siguiente, he aquí que Dagón había caido postrado en tierra delante del arca de Jehová: y la cabeza de Dagón, y las dos palmas de sus manos estaban cortadas sobre el umbral de la puerta; solamente había quedado Dagón en él.

4 И встали они поутру на следующий день, и вот, Дагон лежит ниц на земле пред ковчегом Господним; голова Дагонова и обе руки его лежали отсеченные, каждая особо, на пороге, осталось только туловище Дагона.

5. Sentähden eivät Daagonin papit eikä kukaan, joka menee Daagonin temppeliin, astu Daagonin kynnykselle Asdodissa vielä tänäkään päivänä.

5. Sentähden Dagonin papit ja kaikki jotka Dagonin huoneesen menevät, ei astu Dagonin kynnykselle Asdodissa tähän päivään asti.

5. Sentähden Dagonin papit ja caicki cuin Dagonin huoneseen menewät ei astu Dagonin kynnyxelle Asdodis tähän päiwän asti.

5 Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any who come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod, to this day.

5. Darum treten die Priester Dagons und alle, die in Dagons Haus gehen, nicht auf die Schwelle Dagons zu Asdod bis auf diesen Tag.

5. Por esta causa los sacerdotes de Dagón, y todos los que entran en el templo de Dagón, no pisan el umbral de Dagón en Azoto hasta hoy.

5 Посему жрецы Дагоновы и все приходящие в капище Дагона в Азот не ступают на порог Дагонов до сего дня.

6. Mutta Herran käsi painoi asdodilaisia, ja hän tuhosi heitä: hän löi heitä ajoksilla, sekä Asdodia että sen aluetta.

6. Mutta Herran käsi oli raskas Asdodilaisten päällä ja hävitti heidät, ja löi Asdodin ja kaiken ympäristön ajoksilla.

6. MUtta HERran käsi oli rascas Asdoditerein päälle ja hucutti heidän ja löi Asdodin ja caiken ymbäristön peräpuolet paiseilla.

6 But the hand of Jehovah was heavy upon them of Ashdod and he destroyed them and killed* them with tumors, even Ashdod and the borders of it.

6. But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

6. Aber die Hand des HERRN war schwer über die von Asdod und verderbte sie und schlug sie mit bösen Beulen, Asdod und sein Gebiet.

6. Y la mano de Jehová se agravó sobre los de Azoto, que los destruyó; y los hirió con hemorróides en los siesos en Azoto y en todos sus términos.

6 И отяготела рука Господня над Азотянами, и Он поражал их и наказал их мучительными наростами, в Азоте и в окрестностях его.

7. Kun Asdodin miehet näkivät, miten oli, sanoivat he: Älköön Israelin Jumalan arkki jääkö meidän luoksemme, sillä hänen kätensä on käynyt raskaaksi meille ja meidän jumalallemme Daagonille.

7. Kuin Asdodin miehet näkivät niin olevan, sanoivat he: älkäämme antako Israelin Jumalan arkin olla meidän tykönämme; sillä hänen kätensä on juuri raskas meitä ja jumalaamme Dagonia vastaan.

7. Cosca Asdodin Canssa sen näit nijn olewan sanoit he: älkän andaco olla Israelin Jumalan Arckia meidän tykönäm: sillä hänen kätens on juuri rascas meitä ja meidän jumalatam Dagonita wastan.

7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel will not abide with us, for his hand is hard upon us and upon Dagon our god.

7. And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

7. Da aber die Leute zu Asdod sahen, daß es so zuging, sprachen sie: Laßt die Lade des Gottes Israels nicht bei uns bleiben; denn seine Hand ist zu hart über uns und unserm Gott Dagon.

7. Y viendo esto los de Azoto, dijeron: No quede con nosotros el arca del Dios de Israel: porque su mano es dura sobre nosotros, y sobre nuestro dios Dagón.

7 И увидели это Азотяне и сказали: да не останется ковчег Бога Израилева у нас, ибо тяжка рука Его и для нас и для Дагона, бога нашего.

8. Ja he lähettivät sanan ja kokosivat kaikki filistealaiset ruhtinaat luoksensa ja sanoivat: Mitä me teemme Israelin Jumalan arkille? He vastasivat: Israelin Jumalan arkki siirtyköön Gatiin. Ja he siirsivät Israelin Jumalan arkin sinne.

8. Ja he lähettivät ja kutsuivat kaikki Philistealaisten päämiehet tykönsä kokoon, ja sanoivat: mitä me teemme Israelin Jumalan arkille? He vastasivat: antakaat kantaa Israelin Jumalan arkki Gatin ympäri; ja he kantoivat Israelin Jumalan arkin ympäri.

8. Ja he lähetit matcaans ja cudzuit caicki Philisterein Päämiehet tygöns cocoon ja sanoit: mitä me teemme Israelin Jumalan Arkille? he wastaisit: andacat Israelin Jumalan Arcki cannetta Gathin ymbärins. Ja he cannoit Israelin Jumalan Arkin ymbärins.

8 They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines to them and said, What will we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about to Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel (there).

8. They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.

8. Und sie sandten hin und versammelten alle Fürsten der Philister zu sich und sprachen: Was sollen wir mit der Lade des Gottes Israels machen? Da antworteten sie: Laßt die Lade des Gottes Israels nach Gath tragen. Und sie trugen die Lade des Gottes Israels dahin.

8. Y enviaron a juntar a sí todos los príncipes de los Filisteos, y dijeron: ¿Qué haremos del arca del Dios de Israel? Y ellos respondieron: Pásese el arca del Dios de Israel en Get. Y pasaron el arca del Dios de Israel.

8 И послали, и собрали к себе всех владетелей Филистимских, и сказали:что нам делать с ковчегом Бога Израилева? И сказали: пусть ковчег БогаИзраилева перейдет в Геф. И отправили ковчег Бога Израилева в Геф.

9. Mutta kun he olivat siirtäneet sen sinne, kohtasi Herran käsi kaupunkia ja sai aikaan suuren hämmingin: hän löi kaupungin asukkaita, sekä pieniä että suuria, niin että heihin puhkesi ajoksia.

9. Ja kuin he sen kantoivat, nousi suuri kapina kaupungissa Herran käden kautta, ja hän löi kaupungin miehet sekä pienet että suuret; ja he saivat salaiset kivut salaisiin paikkoihinsa.

9. Ja cosca he sen cannoit nousi suuri capina Caupungis HERran käden cautta ja hän löi Canssan Caupungis sekä pienet että suuret ja he sait salaiset kiwut heidän salacaluins.

9 And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of Jehovah was against the city with a very great confusion. And he killed* the men of the city, both small and great and tumors broke out upon them.

9. And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

9. Da sie aber dieselbe dahin getragen hatten, ward durch die Hand des HERRN in der Stadt ein sehr großer Schrecken, und er schlug die Leute in der Stadt, beide, klein und groß, also daß an ihnen Beulen ausbrachen.

9. Y aconteció que como la hubieron pasado, la mano de Jehová fué contra la ciudad con grande quebrantamiento: que hirió los hombres de aquella ciudad desde el chico hasta el grande que se les cubrían los siesos con hemorróides.

9 После того, как отправили его, была рука Господа на городе – ужас весьма великий, и поразил Господь жителей города от малого до большого, и показались на них наросты.

10. Silloin he lähettivät Jumalan arkin Ekroniin. Mutta kun Jumalan arkki tuli Ekroniin, huusivat ekronilaiset sanoen: He ovat siirtäneet Israelin Jumalan arkin tänne minun luokseni, surmaamaan minut ja minun kansani.

10. Niin he lähettivät Jumalan arkin Ekroniin. Kuin Jumalan arkki tuli Ekroniin, huusivat Ekronilaiset ja sanoivat: he ovat vetäneet Israelin Jumalan arkin minun tyköni, surmataksensa minua ja minun kansaani.

10. NIin he lähetit HERran Arkin Ekronijn. Cosca HERran Arcki tuli Ekronijn huusit Ekroniterit ja sanoit: he owat wetänet Jumalan Arkin ymbärins minun tygöni surmataxens minua ja minun Canssani.

10 So they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it happened, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people.

10. Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.

10. Da sandten sie die Lade des HERRN gen Ekron. Da aber die Lade Gottes gen Ekron kam, schrieen die von Ekron: Sie haben die Lade Gottes hergetragen zu mir, daß sie mich töte und mein Volk.

10. Y enviaron el arca de Dios a Accarón. Y como el arca de Dios vino a Accarón, los de Accarón dieron voces, diciendo: Pasaron a mí el arca del Dios de Israel por matarme a mí y a mí pueblo.

10 И отослали они ковчег Божий в Аскалон; и когда пришел ковчег Божий в Аскалон, возопили Аскалонитяне, говоря: принесли к нам ковчег Бога Израилева, чтоб умертвить нас и народ наш.

11. Ja he lähettivät sanan ja kokosivat kaikki filistealaisten ruhtinaat ja sanoivat: Lähettäkää Israelin Jumalan arkki pois, ja palatkoon se kotiinsa älköönkä enää surmatko minua ja minun kansaani. Sillä surma oli saattanut koko kaupungin hämminkiin; Jumalan käsi painoi sitä kovasti.

11. Niin lähettivät he ja kutsuivat kaikki Philistealaisten päämiehet kokoon, ja sanoivat: lähettäkäät Israelin Jumalan arkki siallensa jälleen, ettei hän surmaisi minua ja minun kansaani; sillä kaikessa kaupungissa oli suuri kapina kuoleman tähden, ja Jumalan käsi oli siellä sangen raskas.

11. Nijn lähetit he ja cudzuit caicki Philisterein Päämiehet cocoon ja sanoit: lähettäkät Israelin Jumalan Arcki siallens jällens ettei hän surmais minua ja minun Canssani: sillä caikes Caupungis oli suuri capina cuoleman tähden ja Jumalan käsi oli siellä sangen rascas.

11 They sent therefore and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines and they said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel and let it go again to its own place, that it not kill us and our people. For there was a deadly confusion throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

11. So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

11. Da sandten sie hin und versammelten alle Fürsten der Philister und sprachen: Sendet die Lade des Gottes Israels wieder an ihren Ort, daß sie mich und mein Volk nicht töte. Denn die Hand Gottes machte einen sehr großen Schrecken mit Würgen in der ganzen Stadt.

11. Y enviaron a juntar todos los príncipes de los Filisteos, diciendo: Enviád el arca del Dios de Israel, y tórnese a su lugar, y no mate a mí y a mí pueblo. Porque había quebrantamiento de muerte en toda la ciudad, y la mano de Dios se había allí agravado.

11 И послали, и собрали всех владетелей Филистимских, и сказали: отошлите ковчег Бога Израилева; пусть он возвратится в свое место, чтобы не умертвил он нас и народа нашего. Ибо смертельный ужас был во всем городе; весьма отяготела рука Божия на них.

12. Ne asukkaat, jotka eivät kuolleet, olivat ajoksilla lyödyt, ja huuto nousi kaupungista ylös taivaaseen.

12. Ja ihmiset, jotka ei kuolleet, olivat lyödyt salaisissa paikoissansa, niin että huuto meni kaupungista ylös taivaasen.

12. Ja ihmiset jotca ei cuollet lyötin heidän salacaluisans nijn että huuto meni Caupungist taiwaseen.

12 And the men who did not die were struck with the tumors and the cry of the city went up to heaven.

12. And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.

12. Und welche Leute nicht starben, die wurden geschlagen mit Beulen, daß das Geschrei der Stadt auf gen Himmel ging.

12. Y los que no morían, eran heridos con hemorróides en los siesos, que el clamor de la ciudad subía al cielo.

12 И те, которые не умерли, поражены были наростами, так что вопль города восходил до небес.
