13 luku

Israel puhdistetaan kaikesta muukalaisuudesta. Palattuaan toisen kerran Jerusalemiin Nehemia poistaa useita epäkohtia.

2. sen tähden että he eivät tulleet leipää ja vettä tuoden israelilaisia vastaan ja koska hän palkkasi heitä vastaan Bileamin kiroamaan heidät, vaikka meidän Jumalamme muuttikin kirouksen siunaukseksi.

4 А прежде того священник Елиашив, приставленный к комнатам при доме Бога нашего, близкий родственник Товии,

5. sisustanut hänelle suuren kammion, johon ennen oli pantu ruokauhri, suitsuke, kalut ja jyvä-, viini- ja öljykymmenykset, jotka olivat määrätyt leeviläisille, veisaajille ja ovenvartijoille, sekä papeille tuleva anti.

5. und dahin hatten sie zuvor gelegt Speisopfer, Weihrauch, Geräte und die Zehnten vom Getreide, Most und Öl, die Gebühr der Leviten, Sänger und Torhüter, dazu die Hebe der Priester.

5. Y le había hecho una grande cámara en la cual ántes guardaban el presente, el perfume, y los vasos, y el diezmo del grano, y del vino, y del aceite, que era mandado dar a los Levitas, y a los cantores, y a los porteros; y la ofrenda de los sacerdotes.

5 отделал для него большую комнату, в которую прежде клали хлебное приношение, ладан и сосуды, и десятины хлеба, вина и масла, положенные законом для левитов, певцов и привратников, и приношения для священников.

6. Tämän kaiken tapahtuessa en minä ollut Jerusalemissa; sillä Artahsastan, Baabelin kuninkaan, kolmantenakymmenentenä toisena hallitusvuotena minä olin mennyt kuninkaan luo. Mutta jonkun ajan kuluttua minä pyysin kuninkaalta lomaa

6 Когда все это происходило , я не был в Иерусалиме, потому что в тридцать втором году Вавилонского царя Артаксеркса я ходил к царю, и по прошествии нескольких дней опятьвыпросился у царя.

7 and I came to Jerusalem and understood the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.

7. daß ich gen Jerusalem zog. Und ich merkte, daß nicht gut war, was Eljasib an Tobia getan hatte, da er sich eine Kammer machte im Hofe am Hause Gottes;

8 And it grieved me greatly. Therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber.

8. und es verdroß mich sehr, und ich warf alle Geräte vom Hause hinaus vor die Kammer{~}

8 тогда мне было весьма неприятно, и я выбросил вседомашние вещи Товиины вон из комнаты

9. Ja minä käskin puhdistaa kammiot ja panetin niihin takaisin Jumalan temppelin kalut, ruokauhrin ja suitsukkeen.

9 Then I commanded and they cleansed the chambers. And there I brought again the vessels of the house of God, with the meal offerings and the frankincense.

9. und hieß, daß sie die Kammern reinigten; und ich brachte wieder dahin das Gerät des Hauses Gottes, das Speisopfer und den Weihrauch.

9. Y dije, que limpiasen las cámaras: y volví allí las alhajas de la casa de Dios, en presente, y el perfume.

9 и сказал, чтобы очистили комнаты, и велел опять внести туда сосуды дома Божия, хлебное приношение и ладан.

10. Vielä minä sain tietää, ettei leeviläisille oltu annettu heidän osuuksiaan, ja niin olivat leeviläiset ja veisaajat, joiden olisi ollut tehtävä palvelusta, vetäytyneet kukin maatilalleen.

10 And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them, so that the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each one to his field.

10. Und ich erfuhr, daß der Leviten Teile ihnen nicht gegeben waren, derhalben die Leviten und die Sänger, die das Geschäft des Amts ausrichten sollten, geflohen waren, ein jeglicher zu seinen Acker.

10. Y entendí que las partes de los Levitas no habían sido dadas: y que cada uno se había huido a su heredad, los Levitas y los cantores que hacían la obra.

10 Еще узнал я, что части левитам не отдаются, и что левиты и певцы, делавшие свое дело, разбежались, каждый на свое поле.

11. Minä nuhtelin esimiehiä siitä ja sanoin: Minkätähden on Jumalan temppeli laiminlyöty? Ja minä kokosin leeviläiset ja veisaajat ja asetin heidät paikoilleen.

11 Then I contended with the rulers and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together and set them in their place.

11 Я сделал за это выговор начальствующим и сказал: зачем оставлен нами дом Божий? И я собрал их и поставил их на местоих.

12. Ja koko Juuda toi kymmenykset jyvistä, viinistä ja öljystä varastohuoneisiin.

12 Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil to the treasuries.

12 И все Иудеи стали приносить десятины хлеба, вина и масла в кладовые.

13. Ja minä asetin Selemjan, papin, ja Saadokin, kirjanoppineen, ja Pedajan, leeviläisen, valvomaan varastohuoneita ja annoin heidän apulaisekseen Haananin, Sakkurin pojan, Mattanjan pojanpojan; sillä heitä pidettiin luotettavina, ja heidän tehtävänään oli toimittaa jako veljiensä kesken.

13 And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest and Zadok the scribe and of the Levites, Pedaiah and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah. For they were counted faithful and their business was to distribute to their brothers.

13. Und ich setzte über die Vorräte Selemja, den Priester, und Zadok, den Schriftgelehrten, und aus den Leviten Pedaja und ihnen zur Hand Hanan, den Sohn Sakkurs, des Sohnes Matthanjas; denn sie wurden für treu gehalten, und ihnen ward befohlen, ihren Brüdern auszuteilen.

13. Y puse sobre los cilleros a Selemías sacerdote, y a Sadoc escriba, y a Padaias de los Levitas, y junto a su mano, a Hanán, hijo de Zacur, hijo de Matanías, que eran tenidos por fieles: y de ellos era el repartir a sus hermanos.

13 И приставил я к кладовым Шелемию священника и Садока книжника иФедаию из левитов, и при них Ханана, сына Закхура, сына Матфании, потому что они считались верными. И на них возложено раздавать части братьям своим.

14. Muista tämän tähden minua, Jumalani, äläkä pyyhi pois minun hurskaita tekojani, jotka minä olen tehnyt Jumalani temppelin ja siinä toimitettavan palveluksen hyväksi.

14. Minun Jumalani, muista minua sen edestä, ja älä pyyhi laupiuttani pois, minkä minä olen tehnyt Jumalani huoneelle ja hänen vartiollensa!

14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God and for the observances of it.

14. Gedenke, mein Gott, mir daran und tilge nicht aus meine Barmherzigkeit, die ich an meines Gottes Hause und an seinem Dienst getan habe!

14. Acuérdate de mí, oh Dios, por esto: y no raigas mis misericordias que hice en la casa de mi Dios, y en sus guardas.

14 Помяни меня за это, Боже мой, и не изгладь усердных дел моих, которые я сделал для дома Бога моего и для служения при нем!

15. Siihen aikaan minä näin Juudassa niitä, jotka sapattina polkivat viinikuurnaa ja jotka kuljettivat viljaa ja kuormittivat aaseja sillä sekä viinillä, rypäleillä, viikunoilla ja kaikenlaisella muulla kuormatavaralla. Ja he toivat niitä Jerusalemiin sapatinpäivänä; ja minä varoitin heitä, kun he myivät elintarpeita.

15 In those days I saw in Judah some men treading wine-presses on the Sabbath and bringing in sheaves and loading donkeys (on them), as also wine, grapes and figs and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. And I testified (against them) in the day in which they sold foods.

15. En aquellos dias ví en Judá algunos que pisaban lagares en sábado, y que traían los montones, y que cargaban asnos de vino, y de uvas, y de higos, y de toda carga, y traían a Jerusalem en día de sábado: e hice testigos el día que vendían el mantenimiento.

15 В те дни я увидел в Иудее, что в субботу топчут точила, возят снопы и навьючивают ослов вином, виноградом, смоквами и всяким грузом, и отвозят в субботний день в Иерусалим. И я строго выговорил им в тот же день, когда они продавали съестное.

16. Sinne oli myös asettunut tyyrolaisia, jotka toivat kalaa ja kaikenlaista kauppatavaraa ja myivät Juudan kansalle sapattina ja Jerusalemissa.

16. Siinä asui myös Tyrolaisia, jotka toivat kaloja ja kaikkinaista kauppakalua, ja myivät Juudan lapsille Jerusalemissa sabbatina.

16 There dwelt men of Tyre also in it who brought in fish and all manner of wares and sold on the Sabbath to the sons of Judah and in Jerusalem.

16. También estaban en ella Tirios que traían pescado, y toda mercadería: y vendían en sábado a los hijos de Judá en Jerusalem.

16 И Тиряне жили в Иудее и привозили рыбу и всякий товар и продавали в субботу жителям Иудеи и в Иерусалиме.

17. Ja minä nuhtelin Juudan ylimyksiä ja sanoin heille: Kuinka te teette näin pahasti ja rikotte sapatinpäivän?

17. Niin minä nuhtelin Juudan päämiehiä ja sanoin heille: mikä paha se on, jonka te teette, ja rikotte sabbatin päivän?

17 Then I contended with the ranking men of Judah and said to them, What evil thing is this that you* do and profane the Sabbath day?

17. Da schalt ich die Obersten in Juda und sprach zu ihnen: Was ist das für ein böses Ding, das ihr tut, und brecht den Sabbattag?

17. Y reprendí a los señores de Judá, y díjeles: ¿Qué mala cosa es esta que vosotros hacéis, que profanáis el día del sábado?

17 И я сделал выговор знатнейшим из Иудеев и сказал им: зачем вы делаете такое зло и оскверняете день субботний?

18. Eikö Jumalamme juuri sen tähden, että teidän isänne näin tekivät, antanut kaiken tämän onnettomuuden kohdata meitä ja tätä kaupunkia? Ja te tuotatte nyt vielä suuremman vihan Israelin ylitse, kun rikotte sapatinpäivän.

18. Eikö teidän isänne niin tehneet? ja meidän Jumalamme toi kaiken tämän onnettomuuden meidän päällemme ja tämän kaupungin päälle; ja te saatatte vielä nyt vihan enemmäksi Israelin päälle, että te rikotte sabbatin.

18 Did not your* fathers thus and did not our God bring all this evil upon us and upon this city? Yet you* bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the Sabbath.

18. Taten nicht eure Väter also, und unser Gott führte all dies Unglück über uns und über diese Stadt? Und ihr macht des Zorns über Israel noch mehr, daß ihr den Sabbat brecht!

18. ¿No hicieron así vuestros padres, y trajo nuestro Dios sobre nosotros todo este mal, y sobre esta ciudad? y vosotros añadís ira sobre Israel profanando el sábado.

18 Не так ли поступали отцы ваши, и за то Бог наш навел на нас и на город сей все это бедствие? А вы увеличиваете гнев Его на Израиля, оскверняя субботу.

19. Ja niin pian kuin oli tullut pimeä ennen sapattia Jerusalemin porteissa, käskin minä sulkea ovet ja kielsin avaamasta niitä ennen kuin sapatin jälkeen. Ja minä asetin palvelijoitani porteille, ettei yhtään kuormaa pääsisi kaupunkiin sapatinpäivänä.

19. Ja kuin varjo peitti Jerusalemin portin ennen sabbatia, käskin minä ne sulkea, ja kielsin avaamasta ennenkuin jälkeen sabbatin. Ja minä panin muutamia palvelioitani portteihin, ettei yhtään kantamusta olisi tuotu sisälle sabbatin päivänä.

19. JA cosca Jerusalemin portit olit awatut ennen Sabbathia käskin minä ne sulke ja kielsin awamast ennencuin jälken Sabbathin ja minä panin muutamita palwelioitani porttein ettei yhtän candamust olis tuotu sisälle Sabbathin päiwänä.

19 And it happened that, when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the Sabbath, I commanded that the doors should be shut and commanded that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. And I set some of my servants over the gates that there should be no burden brought in on the Sabbath day.

19. Und da es in den Toren zu Jerusalem dunkel ward vor dem Sabbat, hieß ich die Türen zuschließen und befahl, man sollte sie nicht auftun bis nach dem Sabbat. Und ich bestellte meiner Leute etliche an die Tore, daß man keine Last hereinbrächte am Sabbattage.

19. Y fué que como la sombra llegó a las puertas de Jerusalem ántes del sábado, dije que se cerrasen las puertas, y dije que no las abriesen hasta después del sábado: y puse a las puertas algunos de mis criados, para que no entrase carga en día de sábado.

20. Kauppiaat ja kaikenlaisen tavaran myyjät jäivät yöksi Jerusalemin ulkopuolelle, kerran ja toisen.

21. Mutta minä varoitin heitä ja sanoin heille: Minkätähden te jäätte yöksi muurin edustalle? Jos vielä kerran teette sen, niin minä käyn teihin käsiksi. Sen jälkeen he eivät enää tulleet sapattina.

21. Da zeugte ich wider sie und sprach zu ihnen: Warum bleibt ihr über Nacht um die Mauer? Werdet ihr's noch einmal tun, so will ich Hand an euch legen. Von der Zeit an kamen sie des Sabbats nicht.

21. Y les protesté, y les dije: ¿Por qué quedáis vosotros delante del muro? Si lo hacéis otra vez, meteré la mano en vosotros. Desde entónces no vinieron en sábado.

21 Но я строго выговорил им и сказал им: зачем вы ночуете возле стены? Если сделаете это в другой раз, я наложу руку на вас. С того времени они не приходили в субботу.

22. Ja minä käskin leeviläisten puhdistautua ja tulla vartioimaan portteja, että sapatinpäivä pyhitettäisiin. Muista minua, Jumalani, myös tämän tähden ja armahda minua suuressa laupeudessasi.

22 And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, O my God, this also and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

22 И сказал я левитам, чтобы они очистились и пришли содержать стражу у ворот, дабы святить день субботний. И за сие помяни меня, Боже мой, и пощади меня по великой милости Твоей!

23. Siihen aikaan minä näin myös juutalaisia, jotka olivat naineet asdodilaisia, ammonilaisia ja mooabilaisia vaimoja.

24. Ja heidän lapsistaan puolet puhuivat asdodinkieltä tai jonkun muun kansan kieltä, eivätkä osanneet puhua juudankieltä.

24 и от того сыновья их в половину говорят по-азотски, или языком других народов, и не умеют говорить по-иудейски.

25. Silloin minä nuhtelin heitä ja kirosin heidät, jopa löin muutamia heistä ja revin heitä parrasta; ja minä vannotin heitä Jumalan kautta: Älkää antako tyttäriänne heidän pojillensa älkääkä ottako heidän tyttäriään vaimoiksi pojillenne tai itsellenne.

25. Ja minä nuhtelin heitä ja kirosin heitä, ja löin muutamia miehiä, ja repelin hiuksia heidän päästänsä, ja vannotin heitä Jumalan kautta: ei teidän pidä antaman tyttäriänne heidän pojillensa, eikä ottaman heidän tyttäriänsä teidän pojillenne eli itse teillenne.

25. Ja minä rangaisin ja kiroisin heitä ja löin muutamita miehiä ja tukistelin heitä ja wannotin heitä Jumalan cautta: Ei teidän pidä andaman teidän tyttäritän heidän pojillens eikä ottaman heidän tyttäritäns teidän pojillen eli idze teillen.

25 And I contended with them and cursed them and killed* certain of them and plucked off their hair and made them swear by God, (saying), You* will not give your* daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your* sons, or for yourselves.

25 Я сделал за это выговор и проклинал их, и некоторых из мужей бил, рвал у них волоса и заклинал их Богом, чтобы они не отдавали дочерей своих за сыновей их и не брали дочерей их за сыновей своих и за себя.

26. Eikö Salomo, Israelin kuningas, tehnyt juuri tuollaista syntiä? Ei yhdelläkään monien kansojen joukossa ollut hänen vertaistaan kuningasta; hän oli Jumalallensa rakas, ja Jumala asetti hänet koko Israelin kuninkaaksi. Kuitenkin muukalaiset vaimot saattoivat hänetkin tekemään syntiä.

26. Eikö Salomo Israelin kuningas niiden kanssa syntiä tehnyt? Ja ei kuitenkaan ollut yhtään kuningasta hänen vertaistansa monen pakanan seassa, ja hän oli rakas Jumalallensa, ja Jumala pani hänen koko Israelin kuninkaaksi; kuitenkin saattivat muukalaiset hänenkin syntiä tekemään.

26. Eikö Salomo Israelin Cuningas sijnä syndiä tehnyt? Ja ei cuitengan ollut yhtän Cuningast hänen wertaistans pacanain seas ja hän oli racas hänen Jumalallens ja Jumala pani hänen coco Israelin Cuningaxi cuitengin saatit muucalaiset waimot hänengin syndiä tekemän.

26 Did not Solomon King of Israel sin by these things? Yet there was no king like him among many nations and he was beloved of his God and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless foreign women caused even him to sin.

26. Hat nicht Salomo, der König Israels, daran gesündigt? Und war doch in vielen Heiden kein König ihm gleich, und er war seinem Gott lieb, und Gott setzte ihn zum König über ganz Israel; dennoch machten ihn die ausländischen Weiber sündigen.

26. ¿No pecó por esto Salomón rey de Israel? y en muchas gentes no hubo rey como él, que era amado de su Dios: y Dios le había puesto por rey sobre todo Israel: aun a él hicieron pecar las mujeres extranjeras.

26 Не из-за них ли, говорил я, грешил Соломон, царь Израилев? У многих народовне было такого царя, как он. Он был любим Богом своим, и Бог поставил его царем над всемиИзраильтянами; и однако же чужеземные жены ввели в грех и его.

27. Ja nytkö meidän täytyy kuulla teistä, että te olette tehneet kaiken tämän suuren pahan ja olleet uskottomat meidän Jumalaamme kohtaan, kun olette naineet muukalaisia vaimoja?

27 И можно ли нам слышать о вас, что вы делаете все сие великое зло, грешите пред Богом нашим, принимая в сожительствочужеземных жен?

31. Ja uhrihalkoja määrätyillä ajoilla, ja ensimäisiä hedelmiä. Minun Jumalani, muista minua hyvyydellä!
