Otsiel, Eehud ja Samgar.

1. Nämä ovat ne kansat, jotka Herra jätti paikoilleen koetellakseen niiden kautta Israelia, kaikkia niitä, jotka eivät olleet kokeneet mitään kaikista Kanaanin sodista

1 Now these are the nations which Jehovah left to prove Israel by them, (even as many (of Israel) as had not known all the wars of Canaan,

1. Dies sind die Heiden, die der HERR ließ bleiben, daß er durch sie Israel versuchte, alle, die nicht wußten um die Kriege Kanaans,

1. ESTAS pues son las gentes que dejó Jehová para probar con ellas a Israel, es a saber, a todos los que no habían conocido todas las guerras de Canaán.

1 Вот те народы, которых оставил Господь, чтобы искушать ими Израильтян, всех, которыене знали о всех войнах Ханаанских, –

2. hän jätti ne ainoastaan sitä varten, että israelilaisten sukupolvet saisivat kokea sotaa, hänen opettaessaan heitä sotimaan, kuitenkin ainoastaan niitä, jotka eivät ennen olleet sotaa kokeneet — :

2 only that the generations of the sons of Israel might know, to teach them war, at least to such as formerly knew nothing of that):

2 для того только, чтобы знали и учились войне последующие роды сынов Израилевых, которые прежде не знали ее:

3. filistealaisten viisi ruhtinasta ja kaikki kanaanilaiset ja siidonilaiset ja hivviläiset, jotka asuivat Libanonin vuoristossa, Baal-Hermonin vuoresta siihen saakka, mistä mennään Hamatiin.

3. Viisi Philistealaisten päämiestä ja kaikki Kanaanealaiset, Zidonilaiset ja Heviläiset, jotka asuivat Libanonin vuorella, BaalHermonin vuoresta Hamatiin asti.

3. Cuin owat: wijsi Philisterein Päämiestä ja caicki Cananerit Zidonierit ja Hewerit jotca asuit Libanonin wuorella BaalHermonin wuorest Hemathin asti.

3 (namely), the five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites that dwelt in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal-hermon to the entrance of Hamath.

3. Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

3. nämlich die fünf Fürsten der Philister und alle Kanaaniter und Sidonier und Heviter, die am Berg Libanon wohnten, von dem Berg Baal-Hermon an, bis wo man kommt gen Hamath.

3. Cinco príncipes de los Filisteos, y todos los Cananeos, y los Sidonios, y los Heveos que habitaban en el monte Líbano desde el monte de Baal-hermón hasta llegar a Emat.

3 пять владельцев Филистимских, все Хананеи, Сидоняне и Евеи, живущие на горе Ливане, от горы Ваал-Ермона до входа в Емаф.

4. Nämä jäivät, että hän niiden kautta koettelisi Israelia saadakseen tietää, tottelisivatko he Herran käskyjä, jotka hän Mooseksen kautta oli antanut heidän isillensä.

4. Ja he jäivät kiusaamaan Israelia, että tiedettäisiin, tottelisivatko Herran käskyjä, jotka hän oli käskenyt heidän isillensä Moseksen kautta.

4. Ja he jäit kiusaman Israeli että tiettäisin jos he tottelisit HERran käskyjä jotca hän oli käskenyt heidän Esijsillens Mosexen cautta.

4 And they were (left), to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would listen to the commandments of Jehovah, which he commanded their fathers by Moses.

4. And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

4. Dieselben blieben, Israel durch sie zu versuchen, daß es kund würde, ob sie den Geboten des HERRN gehorchten, die er ihren Vätern geboten hatte durch Mose.

4. Estos pues fueron dejados para probar por ellos a Israel, para saber, si obedecían a los mandamientos de Jehová, que había mandado a sus padres por mano de Moisés.

4 Они были оставлены , чтобы искушать ими Израильтян и узнать, повинуются ли онизаповедям Господним, которые Он заповедал отцам их чрез Моисея.

5. Israelilaiset asuivat siis kanaanilaisten, heettiläisten, amorilaisten, perissiläisten, hivviläisten ja jebusilaisten keskellä,

5. Kuin Israelin lapset asuivat keskellä Kanaanealaisia, Hetiläisiä, Amorilaisia, Pheresiläisiä, Heviläisiä ja Jebusilaisia,

5. COsca Israelin lapset asuit keskellä Cananerejä Hetherejä ja Jebuserejä:

5 And the sons of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

5. And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

5. Da nun die Kinder Israel also wohnten unter den Kanaanitern, Hethitern, Amoritern, Pheresitern, Hevitern und Jebusitern,

5. Y como los hijos de Israel habitaban entre los Cananeos, Jetteos, Amorreos, Ferezeos, Heveos, y Jebuseos:

5 И жили сыны Израилевы среди Хананеев, Хеттеев, Аморреев, Ферезеев, Евеев, и Иевусеев,

6. ja he ottivat heidän tyttäriänsä vaimoikseen ja antoivat omia tyttäriänsä heidän pojillensa ja palvelivat heidän jumaliansa.

6. Ottivat he heidän tyttäriänsä emännäksensä ja antoivat tyttäriänsä heidän pojillensa, ja palvelivat heidän jumaliansa.

6. Otit he heidän tyttärens emännäxi ja annoit poicans heidän tyttärillens ja palwelit heidän jumalitans.

6 And they took their daughters to be their wives and gave their own daughters to their sons and served their gods.

6. nahmen sie jener Töchter zu Weibern und gaben ihre Töchter jener Söhnen und dienten jener Göttern.

6. Tomaron de sus hijas por mujeres, y dieron sus hijas a los hijos de ellos, y sirvieron a sus dioses.

6 и брали дочерей их себе в жены, и своих дочерей отдавали за сыновей их, и служили богам их.

7. Näin israelilaiset tekivät sitä, mikä oli pahaa Herran silmissä, ja unhottivat Herran, Jumalansa, ja palvelivat baaleja ja aseroita.

7. Ja Israelin lapset tekivät pahaa Herran edessä, ja unhottivat Herran Jumalansa, ja palvelivat Baalia ja metsistöitä.

7. Ja Israelin lapset teit paha HERran edes ja unhotit HERran heidän Jumalans ja palwelit Baali ja pyhiä medziä.

7 And the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah and forgot Jehovah their God and served the Baals {Baalim} and the Asheroth {Asherahs}.

7. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

7. Und die Kinder Israel taten übel vor dem HERRN und vergaßen des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und dienten den Baalim und den Ascheroth.

7. E hicieron lo malo los hijos de Israel en ojos de Jehová: y olvidados de Jehová su Dios sirvieron a los Baales, y a los (ídolos de los) bosques.

7 И сделали сыны Израилевы злое пред очами Господа, и забыли Господа Бога своего, и служили Ваалам и Астартам.

8. Silloin Herran viha syttyi Israelia kohtaan, ja hän myi heidät Kuusan-Risataimin, Mesopotamian kuninkaan, käsiin; ja israelilaiset palvelivat Kuusan-Risataimia kahdeksan vuotta.

8. Niin julmistui Herran viha Israeliin, ja hän myi heidät KusanRisataimin, Mesopotamian kuninkaan käteen; ja Israelin lapset palvelivat KusanRisataimia kahdeksan ajastaikaa.

8. Nijn julmistui HERran wiha Israelin päälle ja myi heidän ChusanRisathaimin Mesopotamian Cuningan käteen ja Israelin lapset palwelit ChusanRisathaimi cahdexan ajastaica.

8 Therefore the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel and he sold them into the hand of Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia, And the sons of Israel served Cushan-rishathaim eight years.

8. Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.

8. Da ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er verkaufte sie unter die Hand Kusan-Risathaims, des Königs von Mesopotamien; und dienten also die Kinder Israel dem Kusan-Risathaim acht Jahre.

8. Y la saña de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, y vendióles en manos de Cusan-rasataim rey de Mesopotamia, y sirvieron los hijos de Israel a Cusan-rasataim ocho años.

8 И воспылал гнев Господень на Израиля, и предал их в руки Хусарсафема, царя Месопотамского, и служили сыны Израилевы Хусарсафему восемь лет.

9. Mutta israelilaiset huusivat Herraa, ja Herra herätti israelilaisille vapauttajan, joka heidät vapautti, Otnielin, Kenaan, Kaalebin nuoremman veljen, pojan.

9. Ja Israelin lapset huusivat Herran tykö, ja Herra herätti heille vapahtajan, joka heitä vapahti, Otnielin, Kalebin nuorimman veljen Kenaksen pojan.

9 And when the sons of Israel cried to Jehovah, Jehovah raised up a savior to the sons of Israel, who saved them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

9. And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

9. Da schrieen die Kinder Israel zu dem HERRN; und der HERR erweckte ihnen einen Heiland, der sie erlöste; Othniel, den Sohn Kenas, Kalebs jüngsten Bruder.

9. Y clamaron los hijos de Israel a Jehová, y Jehová despertó salvador a los hijos de Israel, y librólos, es a saber, a Otoniel hijo de Cenez, hermano menor de Caleb.

9 Тогда возопили сыны Израилевы к Господу, и воздвигнул Господьспасителя сынам Израилевым, который спас их, Гофониила, сына Кеназа,младшего брата Халевова.

10. Ja Herran henki tuli häneen, ja hän oli tuomarina Israelissa; hän lähti sotaan, ja Herra antoi Kuusan-Risataimin, Aramin kuninkaan, hänen käsiinsä, ja Kuusan-Risataim sai tuntea hänen kätensä voimaa.

10. Ja Herran henki tuli hänen päällensä, ja hän oli tuomari Israelissa, joka myös läksi sotaan; ja Herra antoi KusanRisataimin, Syrian kuninkaan tulla hänen käsiinsä, että hänen kätensä tuli voimalliseksi KusanRisataimin päälle.

10 And the Spirit of Jehovah came upon him and he judged Israel. And he went out to war and Jehovah delivered Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand and his hand prevailed against Cushan-rishathaim.

10. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

10. Und der Geist des HERRN kam auf ihn, und er ward Richter in Israel und zog aus zum Streit. Und der HERR gab den König von Mesopotamien, Kusan-Risathaim, in seine Hand, daß seine Hand über ihn zu stark ward.

10. Y el Espíritu de Jehová fué sobre él, y juzgó a Israel, y salió en batalla, y Jehová entregó en su mano a Cusan-rasataim rey de Siria: y prevaleció su mano contra Cusan-rasataim.

10 На нем был Дух Господень, и был он судьею Израиля.Он вышел на войну, и предал Господь в руки его Хусарсафема, царяМесопотамского, и преодолела рука его Хусарсафема.

11. Ja maassa oli rauha neljäkymmentä vuotta; sitten Otniel, Kenaan poika, kuoli.

11. Ja maa lepäsi neljäkymmentä ajastaikaa; ja Otniel Kenaksen poika kuoli.

11. Silloin maa lepäis neljäkymmendä ajastaica ja Athniel Kenan poica cuoli.

11 And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

11. And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

11. Da ward das Land still vierzig Jahre. Und Othniel, der Sohn Kenas, starb.

11. Y reposó la tierra cuarenta años: y murió Otoniel hijo de Cenez.

11 И покоилась земля сорок лет. И умер Гофониил, сын Кеназа.

12. Mutta israelilaiset tekivät jälleen sitä, mikä oli pahaa Herran silmissä. Silloin Herra vahvisti Eglonin, Mooabin kuninkaan, Israelia väkevämmäksi, koska he tekivät sitä, mikä oli pahaa Herran silmissä.

12. Mutta Israelin lapset tekivät vielä pahaa Herran edessä; niin vahvisti Herra Eglonin, Moabilaisten kuninkaan Israelia vastaan, että he pahaa tekivät Herran edessä.

12. MUtta Israelin lapset teit wielä paha HERran edes. Nijn wahwisti HERra Eglonin Moabiterein Cuningan Israeli wastan että he paha teit HERran edes.

12 And the sons of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah. And Jehovah strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel because they had done what was evil in the sight of Jehovah.

12. And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

12. Aber die Kinder Israel taten fürder übel vor dem HERRN. Da stärkte der HERR den Eglon, den König der Moabiter, wider Israel, darum daß sie übel taten vor dem HERRN.

12. Y tornaron los hijos de Israel a hacer lo malo delante de los ojos de Jehová: y Jehová esforzó a Eglón rey de Moab contra Israel, por cuanto habían hecho lo malo delante de los ojos de Jehová.

12 Сыны Израилевы опять стали делать злое пред очами Господа, и укрепил Господь Еглона, царя Моавитского, против Израильтян, за то, что они делали злое пред очами Господа.

13. Ja tämä kokosi luoksensa ammonilaiset ja amalekilaiset, lähti liikkeelle ja voitti Israelin, ja he valtasivat Palmukaupungin.

13. Ja hän kokosi tykönsä Ammonin lapset ja Amalekilaiset, ja meni ja löi Israelin, ja omisti Palmukaupungin.

13. Ja cocois tygöns Ammonin lapset ja Amalechiterit ja hän meni ja löi Israelin ja omisti palmuCaupungin.

13 And he gathered to him the sons of Ammon and Amalek and he went and killed* Israel and they possessed the city of palm trees.

13. And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

13. Und er sammelte zu sich die Kinder Ammon und die Amalekiter und zog hin und schlug Israel und nahm ein die Palmenstadt.

13. Y juntó consigo a los hijos de Ammón, y de Amalec; y fué, e hirió a Israel, y tomó la ciudad de las palmas.

13 Он собрал к себе Аммонитян и Амаликитян, и пошел и поразил Израиля, и овладели они городом Пальм.

14. Ja israelilaiset palvelivat Eglonia, mooabilaisten kuningasta, kahdeksantoista vuotta.

14. Ja Israelin lapset palvelivat Eglonia, Moabilaisten kuningasta kahdeksantoistakymmentä ajastaikaa.

14. Ja Israelin lapset palwelit Egloni Moabiterein Cuningast cahdexantoistakymmendä ajastaica.

14 And the sons of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

14. So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

14. Und die Kinder Israel dienten Eglon, dem König der Moabiter, achtzehn Jahre.

14. Y sirvieron los hijos de Israel a Eglón rey de los Moabitas diez y ocho años.

14 И служили сыны Израилевы Еглону, царю Моавитскому, восемнадцать лет.

15. Ja israelilaiset huusivat Herraa, ja Herra herätti heille vapauttajan, benjaminilaisen Eehudin, Geeran pojan, vasenkätisen miehen. Kun israelilaiset lähettivät hänet viemään veroa Eglonille, Mooabin kuninkaalle,

15. Niin huusivat Israelin lapset Herran tykö, ja Herra herätti heille vapahtajan, Ehudin Geran pojan, Jeminin pojan, joka oli kurittu; ja Israelin lapset lähettivät hänen kanssansa lahjoja Eglonille, Moabilaisten kuninkaalle.

15. NIin huusit Israelin lapset HERran tygö ja HERra herätti heille wapahtajan Ehudin Geran pojan Jeminin pojan joca oli curittu. Ja cosca Israelin lapset lähetit lahjoja Eglonille Maobiterein Cuningalle hänen cansans.

15 But when the sons of Israel cried to Jehovah, Jehovah raised up for them a savior, Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. And the sons of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab.

15. But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.

15. Da schrieen sie zu dem HERRN; und der HERR erweckte ihnen einen Heiland: Ehud, den Sohn Geras, den Benjaminiten, der war links. Und da die Kinder Israel durch ihn Geschenk sandten Eglon, dem König der Moabiter,

15. Y clamaron los hijos de Israel a Jehová, y Jehová les despertó salvador, a Aod, hijo de Gera, hijo de Jemini, el cual tenía cerrada la mano derecha. Y los hijos de Israel enviaron con él un presente a Eglón rey de Moab.

15 Тогда возопили сыны Израилевы к Господу, и Господь воздвигнул имспасителя Аода, сына Геры, сына Иеминиева, который был левша. И послали сыны Израилевы с ним дары Еглону, царю Моавитскому.

16. niin Eehud teki itsellensä kaksiteräisen miekan, jalan pituisen, ja sitoi sen takkinsa alle oikealle kupeelleen.

16. Ja Ehud teki itsellensä kaksiteräisen miekan, kyynärää pitkän, sitoi sen vaatteensa alle, oikean reitensä päälle,

16. Teki Ehud caxiteräisen miecan hänellens kynärätä pitkän ja sidoi waattens ala oikian reitens päälle.

16 And Ehud made for himself a sword which had two edges, a cubit in length. And he girded it under his garments upon his right thigh.

16. But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

16. machte sich Ehud ein zweischneidig Schwert, eine Elle lang, und gürtete es unter sein Kleid auf seine rechte Hüfte

16. Y Aod se había hecho un cuchillo agudo de ambas partes de longura de un codo: y traíalo ceñido debajo de sus vestidos a su lado derecho.

16 Аод сделал себе меч с двумя остриями, длиною в локоть, и припоясал его под плащом своим к правому бедру,

17. Ja hän toi veron Eglonille, Mooabin kuninkaalle. Mutta Eglon oli hyvin lihava mies.

17. Ja kantoi lahjat Eglonille, Moabilaisten kuninkaalle; ja Eglon oli sangen lihava mies.

17. Ja candoi lahjoi Eglonille Moabiterein Cuningalle ja Eglon oli sangen lihawa mies.

17 And he offered the tribute to Eglon king of Moab. Now Eglon was a very fat man.

17. And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.

17. und brachte das Geschenk dem Eglon, dem König der Moabiter. Eglon aber war ein sehr fetter Mann.

17. Y presentó el presente a Eglón rey de Moab: y Eglón era hombre muy grueso:

17 и поднес дары Еглону, царю Моавитскому; Еглон же был человек очень тучный.

18. Kun hän oli saanut tuoduksi veron, saattoi hän väen, joka oli verolahjoja kantanut, matkalle.

18. Kuin hän oli lahjat antanut, päästi hän kansan, jotka olivat lahjoja kantaneet.

18. Cosca hän oli lahjat andanut pois häneldäns päästi hän Canssan jotca olit lahjoja candanet.

18 And when he had made an end of offering the tribute, he sent away the men who bore the tribute.

18. And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.

18. Und da er das Geschenk hatte überantwortet, ließ er das Volk von sich, die das Geschenk getragen hatten,

18. Y luego que él hubo presentado el presente, envió al pueblo que habían traido el presente.

18 Когда поднес Аод все дары и проводил людей, принесших дары,

19. Mutta itse hän kääntyi takaisin Gilgalin luona olevilta jumalankuvilta ja käski sanoa: Minulla on salaista asiaa sinulle, kuningas. Niin tämä sanoi: Hiljaa! Ja kaikki, jotka seisoivat hänen luonaan, menivät hänen luotaan ulos.

19. Ja palasi itse epäjumalista Gilgalissa ja sanoi: minulla on, kuningas, jotakin salaista sinulle sanomista. Niin hän sanoi: vaiti! Ja kaikki menivät ulos, jotka hänen ympärillänsä seisoivat.

19. Ja palais nijstä epäjumalist Gilgalis ja sanoi Cuningalle: minulla on Cuningas jotakin salaist sinulle sanomist: nijn hän sanoi: wait ja caicki menit ulos jotca hänen ymbärilläns seisoit:

19 But he himself turned back from the quarries that were by Gilgal and said, I have a secret errand to you, O king. And he said, Keep silence. And all who stood by him went out from him.

19. But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.

19. und kehrte um von den Götzen zu Gilgal und ließ ansagen: Ich habe, o König, dir was Heimliches zu sagen. Er aber hieß schweigen, und gingen aus von ihm alle, die um ihn standen.

19. Y tornándose desde los ídolos que están en Galgala, dijo: Rey, una palabra secreta tengo que decirte. El entónces dijo: Calla. Y saliéronse de delante de él todos los que estaban delante de él.

19 то сам возвратился от истуканов, которые в Галгале, и сказал: у меня есть тайное слово до тебя, царь. Он сказал: тише! И вышли от него все стоявшие при нем.

20. Kun Eehud oli tullut hänen luoksensa, hänen istuessaan yksin viileässä yläsalissaan, sanoi Eehud: Minulla on sinulle sana Jumalalta. Silloin hän nousi istuimeltaan,

20. Ja Ehud tuli hänen tykönsä, ja hän istui suvisalissa, joka hänellä oli, yksinänsä. Ja Ehud sanoi: minulla on Jumalan sana sinun tykös; niin nousi hän istuimeltansa.

20. Ja Ehud tuli hänen tygöns ja hän istui suwisalis yxinäns. Ja Ehud sanoi: minulla on Jumalan sana sinun tygös nijn nousi hän istuimeldans.

20 And Ehud came to him. And he was sitting by himself alone in the cool upper room. And Ehud said, I have a message from God to you. And he arose out of his seat.

20. And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.

20. Und Ehud kam zu ihm hinein. Er aber saß oben in der Sommerlaube, die für ihn allein war. Und Ehud sprach: Ich habe Gottes Wort an dich. Da stand er auf vom Stuhl.

20. Y Aod entró a él, el cual estaba sentado solo en una sala de verano. Y Aod dijo: Tengo palabra de Dios para tí. El entónces se levantó de la silla.

20 Аод вошел к нему: он сидел в прохладной горнице, которая была у него отдельно. И сказал Аод: у меня есть до тебя, слово Божие. Еглон встал со стула.

21. mutta Eehud ojensi vasemman kätensä ja tempasi miekan oikealta kupeeltaan ja pisti sen hänen vatsaansa,

21 And Ehud put forth his left hand and took the sword from his right thigh and thrust it into his body.

21 Аод простер левую руку свою и взял меч с правого бедра своего и вонзил его в чрево его,

22. niin että kahvakin meni sisään terän mukana ja terä upposi kokonaan ihraan, sillä hän ei vetänyt ulos miekkaa hänen vatsastaan. Sitten hän meni ulos laakealle katolle.

22 And the handle also went in after the blade and the fat closed upon the blade, for he did not draw the sword out of his body and it came out behind.

22. And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.

22. daß auch das Heft der Schneide nach hineinfuhr und das Fett das Heft verschloß; denn er zog das Schwert nicht aus seinem Bauch.

22. De tal manera que la empuñadura entró también tras la hoja, y la grosura encerró la hoja, que él no sacó el cuchillo de su vientre: y el estiércol salió.

22 так что вошла за острием и рукоять, и тук закрыл острие, ибо Аод не вынул меча из чрева его, и он прошел в задние части.

23. Aber Ehud ging zum Saal hinaus und tat die Tür der Sommerlaube hinter sich zu und verschloß sie.

23 И вышел Аод в преддверие, и затворил за собою двери горницы, изамкнул.

24. Da er nun hinaus war, kamen seine Knechte und sahen, daß die Tür verschlossen war, und sprachen: Er ist vielleicht zu Stuhl gegangen in der Kammer an der Sommerlaube.

24. Y salido él, vinieron sus siervos, los cuales viendo las puertas de la sala cerradas, dijeron: sin duda él cubre sus piés en la sala de verano.

24 Когда он вышел, рабы Еглона пришли и видят, вот, дверигорницы замкнуты, и говорят: верно он для нужды в прохладной комнате.

25. Sitten he odottivat kyllästyksiin asti, mutta kun hän ei sittenkään avannut yläsalin ovia, ottivat he avaimen ja avasivat itse. Ja katso, heidän herransa makasi kuolleena lattialla.

25 And they delayed till they were ashamed, and behold, he did not open the doors of the upper room. Therefore they took the key and opened, and behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.

25 Ждали довольно долго, но видя, что никто не отпирает дверей горницы, взяли ключ и отперли, и вот, господин их лежит на земле мертвый.

26 Пока они недоумевали, Аод между тем ушел, прошел мимо истуканов и спасся в Сеираф.

27. Ja sinne tultuaan hän puhalsi pasunaan Efraimin vuoristossa. Silloin israelilaiset laskeutuivat hänen kanssaan vuoristosta, ja hän heidän etunenässään.

27. Ja kuin hän sinne tuli, puhalsi hän torveen Ephraimin vuorella. Ja Israelin lapset menivät hänen kanssansa alas vuorelta, ja hän heidän edellänsä.

27 And it happened, when he came, that he blew a trumpet in the hill-country of Ephraim. And the sons of Israel went down with him from the hill-country and he before them.

27. And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them.

27 Придя же вострубил трубою на горе Ефремовой, и сошли с ним сыны Израилевы с горы, и он шел впереди их.

28. Ja hän sanoi heille: Seuratkaa minua, sillä Herra antaa teidän vihollisenne, mooabilaiset, teidän käsiinne. Silloin he laskeutuivat hänen jäljessään alas, valtasivat mooabilaisten tieltä Jordanin kahlauspaikat eivätkä päästäneet ketään yli.

28. Ja hän sanoi heille: seuratkaat minua, sillä Herra on antanut teidän vihamiehenne Moabilaiset teidän käsiinne. Ja he seurasivat häntä, ja voittivat Jordanin luotuspaikat Moabiin päin, ja ei sallineet yhdenkään mennä ylitse;

28 And he said to them, Follow after me, for Jehovah has delivered your* enemies the Moabites into your* hand. And they went down after him and took the fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and did not allow a man to pass over.

28. And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to pass over.

28. und sprach zu ihnen: Jagt mir nach; denn der HERR hat euch die Moabiter, eure Feinde, in eure Hände gegeben! Und sie jagten ihm nach und gewannen die Furten am Jordan, die gen Moab gehen, und ließen niemand hinüber

28. Entónces él les dijo: Seguídme, porque Jehová ha entregado vuestros enemigos los Moabitas en vuestras manos. Y descendieron en pos de él, y tomaron los vados del Jordán a Moab; y no dejaron pasar a ninguno.

28 И сказал им: идите за мною, ибо предал Господь врагов ваших Моавитян в руки ваши. И пошли за ним, и перехватили переправучерез Иордан к Моаву, и не давали никому переходить.

29. Ja he voittivat silloin Mooabin, lähes kymmenen tuhatta miestä, kaikki voimakkaita ja sotakuntoisia miehiä; eikä ainoakaan päässyt pakoon.

29. Ja tappoivat Moabilaisia sillä ajalla lähes kymmenentuhatta miestä, kaikki parhaat ja väkevät sotamiehet, niin ettei yhtäkään heistä päässyt.

29 And they killed* about ten thousand men of Moab at that time, every robust man and every man of valor and there escaped not a man.

29. And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man.

29. und schlugen die Moabiter zu der Zeit, bei zehntausend Mann, allzumal die besten und streitbare Männer, daß nicht einer entrann.

29. E hirieron en aquel tiempo de los Moabitas como diez mil hombres, todos valientes, y todos hombres de guerra: no escapó varón.

29 И побили в то время Моавитян около десяти тысяч человек, все здоровых и сильных, и никто не убежал.

30. Niin täytyi Mooabin silloin nöyrtyä Israelin käden alle. Ja maassa oli rauha kahdeksankymmentä vuotta.

30. Ja niin tulivat Moabilaiset painetuksi sillä ajalla Israelin lasten kätten alle; ja maa lepäsi kahdeksankymmentä ajastaikaa.

30 So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest eighty years.

31. Darnach war Samgar, der Sohn Anaths; der schlug sechshundert Philister mit einem Ochsenstecken, und auch er erlöste Israel.

31. Después de este, fué Samgar hijo de Anat, el cual hirió seiscientos hombres de los Filisteos con una aguijada de los bueyes; y él también salvó a Israel.

31 После него был Самегар, сын Анафов, который шестьсот человек Филистимлян побил воловьим рожном; и он также спас Израиля.
