Lesken öljy. Suunemilainen vaimo ja hänen poikansa. ”Padassa on kuolema” Sata miestä ravitaan.

1. Eräs nainen, profeetanoppilaan vaimo, huusi Elisalle sanoen: Minun mieheni, sinun palvelijasi, kuoli, ja sinä tiedät, että palvelijasi oli herraapelkääväinen mies. Nyt velkoja tulee ottamaan minun molemmat poikani orjikseen.

1 Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, Your servant my husband is dead and you know that your servant feared Jehovah and the creditor has come to take my two children to him to be bondmen.

1. Und es schrie ein Weib unter den Weibern der Kinder der Propheten zu Elisa und sprach: Dein Knecht, mein Mann, ist gestorben, so weißt du, daß er, dein Knecht, den HERRN fürchtete; nun kommt der Schuldherr und will meine beiden Kinder nehmen zu leibeigenen Knechten.

1. UNA mujer de las mujeres de los hijos de los profetas clamó a Eliseo, diciendo: Tu siervo mi marido es muerto: y tú sabes que tu siervo era temeroso de Jehová: y ha venido el acreedor para tomarse dos hijos míos por siervos.

1 Одна из жен сынов пророческих с воплем говорила Елисею: раб твой, мой муж, умер; а ты знаешь, что раб твой боялся Господа;теперь пришел заимодавец взять обоих детей моих в рабы себе.

2. Elisa sanoi hänelle: Mitä minä voin tehdä sinun hyväksesi? Sano minulle, mitä sinulla on talossasi. Hän vastasi: Palvelijattarellasi ei ole talossa muuta kuin öljyä sen verran, kuin minä tarvitsen voidellakseni itseäni.

2 And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what have you in the house? And she said, Your handmaid has not anything in the house except a pot of oil.

2. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

2. Elisa sprach zu ihr: Was soll ich dir tun? Sage mir, was hast du im Hause? Sie sprach: Deine Magd hat nichts im Hause denn einen Ölkrug.

3 И сказал он: пойди, попроси себе сосудов на стороне, у всех соседей твоих, сосудов порожних; набери немало,

4 And you will go in and shut the door upon you and upon your sons and pour out into all those vessels and you will set aside what is full.

4. und gehe hinein und schließe die Tür zu hinter dir und deinen Söhnen und gieß in alle Gefäße; und wenn du sie gefüllt hast, so gib sie hin.

4. Y entra y cierra la puerta tras tí, y tras tus hijos: y echa en todos los vasos, y en estando uno lleno, pónlo a parte.

4 и пойди, запри дверь за собою и за сыновьями твоими, и наливай вовсе эти сосуды; полные отставляй.

5 И пошла от него и заперла дверь за собой и за сыновьями своими. Они подавали ей, а она наливала.

6. Ja kun astiat olivat täynnä, sanoi hän pojallensa: Tuo minulle vielä yksi astia. Mutta hän vastasi hänelle: Ei ole enää astiata. Silloin öljy tyrehtyi.

6 And it happened, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said to her, There is no more a vessel. And the oil halted.

6. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

6 Когда наполнены были сосуды, она сказала сыну своему: подай мне ещесосуд. Он сказал ей: нет более сосудов. И остановилось масло.

7 И пришла она, и пересказала человеку Божию. Он сказал: пойди, продай масло и заплати долги твои; а что останется, тембудешь жить с сыновьями твоими.

8 And it fell on a day that Elisha passed to Shunem where there was a prominent woman. And she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as often as he passed by he turned in there to eat bread.

8. Und es begab sich zu der Zeit, daß Elisa ging gen Sunem. Daselbst war eine reiche Frau; die hielt ihn, daß er bei ihr aß. Und so oft er daselbst durchzog, kehrte er zu ihr ein und aß bei ihr.

8. Aconteció también, que un día Eliseo pasaba por Suna: y había allí una mujer principal, la cual le constriñó a que comiese del pan: y así cuando pasaba por allí, veníase a su casa a comer del pan.

8 В один день пришел Елисей в Сонам. Там одна богатая женщина упросила его к себе есть хлеба; и когда он ни проходил, всегда заходил туда есть хлеба.

9. Niin vaimo sanoi miehellensä: Katso, minä olen huomannut, että hän, joka aina kulkee meidän kauttamme, on pyhä Jumalan mies.

9 And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God who passes by us continually.

9. Und sie sprach zu ihrem Mann: Siehe, ich merke, daß dieser Mann Gottes heilig ist, der immerdar hier durchgeht.

9. Y ella dijo a su marido: He aquí, ahora yo entiendo que este, que siempre pasa por nuestra casa, es varón de Dios santo.

9 И сказала она мужу своему: вот, я знаю, что человек Божий, который проходит мимо нас постоянно, святой;

10. Muurauttakaamme pieni yliskammio ja pankaamme hänelle sinne vuode, pöytä, tuoli ja lamppu, niin että hän tullessaan meidän luoksemme voi vetäytyä sinne.

10. Tehkäämme siis tähän ylistupa, ja pankaamme hänelle sinne vuode, pöytä, istuin ja kynttiläjalka, että hän sinne menis, kuin hän meidän tykömme tulee.

10 I beseech you, let us make a little chamber on the wall. And let us set a bed for him there and a table and a seat and a lamp-stand. And it will be, when he comes to us, that he will turn in there.

10. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

10. Laß uns ihm eine kleine bretterne Kammer oben machen und ein Bett, Tisch, Stuhl und Leuchter hineinsetzen, auf daß er, wenn er zu uns kommt, dahin sich tue.

10. Yo te ruego que hagamos una pequeña cámara de paredes, y pongamos en ella cama, y mesa, y silla, y candelero, para que cuando viniere a nuestra casa, se recoja en ella.

10 сделаем небольшую горницу над стеною и поставим ему там постель,и стол, и седалище, и светильник; и когда он будет приходить к нам, пусть заходит туда.

11. Eräänä päivänä hän sitten tuli sinne, poikkesi yliskammioon ja pani sinne maata.

11 And it fell on a day that he came there and he turned into the chamber and lay there.

11. Und es begab sich zu der Zeit, daß er hineinkam und legte sich oben in die Kammer und schlief darin

11. Y aconteció, que un día él vino por allí, y recogióse en aquella cámara, y durmío en ella.

11 В один день он пришел туда, и зашел в горницу, и лег там,

12. Ja hän sanoi palvelijallensa Geehasille: Kutsu se suunemilainen vaimo. Ja hän kutsui tämän, ja hän astui hänen eteensä.

12. Ja hän sanoi palveliallensa Gehatsille: kutsu Sunemin vaimo tänne. Ja kuin hän oli kutsunut hänen, astui hän hänen eteensä.

13. Niin hän sanoi palvelijalle: Sano hänelle: 'Katso, sinä olet nähnyt kaiken tämän vaivan meidän tähtemme. Voisinko minä tehdä jotakin sinun hyväksesi? Onko sinulla jotakin esitettävää kuninkaalle tai sotapäällikölle?' Mutta hän vastasi: Minähän asun heimoni keskellä.

13. Niin hän sanoi hänelle: sano hänelle: katso, sinä olet tehnyt meille kaiken tämän palveluksen, mitä minun pitää sinulle tekemän? Onko sinulla asiaa kuninkaan taikka sodanpäämiehen tykö? Hän sanoi: minä asun keskellä minun kansaani.

13 И сказал ему: скажи ей: „вот, ты так заботишься о нас; что сделать бытебе? не нужно ли поговорить о тебе с царем, или с военачальником?" Она сказала: нет, среди своего народа я живу.

14. Niin hän kysyi: Eikö siis voi tehdä mitään hänen hyväksensä? Geehasi vastasi: Voi kyllä: hänellä ei ole poikaa, ja hänen miehensä on vanha.

14 And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Truly she has no son and her husband is old.

14 И сказал он: что же сделать ей? И сказал Гиезий: да вот, сына нет у нее, а муж ее стар.

15. Hän sanoi: Kutsu hänet. Niin tämä kutsui hänet, ja hän astui ovelle.

16. Ja Elisa sanoi: Tähän aikaan tulevana vuonna on sinulla poika sylissäsi. Hän vastasi: Ei, herrani; sinä Jumalan mies, älä petä palvelijatartasi.

16. Ja hän sanoi: tähän määrättyyn aikaan vuoden perästä pitää sinun syleilemän poikaa. Hän sanoi: ei, minun herrani, sinä Jumalan mies, älä vääryttele piikas edessä!

16 And he said, At this season, when the time comes round, you will embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your handmaid.

16. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

16. Und er sprach: Um diese Zeit über ein Jahr sollst du einen Sohn herzen. Sie sprach: Ach nicht, mein Herr, du Mann Gottes! lüge deiner Magd nicht!

16. Y él le dijo: A este tiempo según el tiempo de la vida, abrazarás un hijo. Y ella dijo: No señor mío, varón de Dios, no hagas burla de tu sierva.

16 И сказал он: через год, в это самое время ты будешь держать на руках сына. И сказала она: нет, господин мой, человек Божий, не обманывай рабы твоей.

17. Mutta vaimo tuli raskaaksi ja synnytti pojan seuraavana vuonna juuri sinä aikana, jonka Elisa oli hänelle sanonut.

17. Ja vaimo tuli raskaaksi ja synnytti pojan määrättyyn aikaan vuoden perästä, niinkuin Elisa oli hänelle sanonut.

17 And the woman conceived and bore a son at that season, when the time came round, as Elisha had said to her.

17. Und die Frau ward schwanger und gebar einen Sohn um dieselbe Zeit über ein Jahr, wie ihr Elisa geredet hatte.

17 И женщина стала беременною и родила сына на другой год, в то самое время, как сказал ей Елисей.

18. Kun poika oli kasvanut isoksi, meni hän eräänä päivänä isänsä tykö, joka oli leikkuuväen luona.

39. Da ging einer aufs Feld, daß er Kraut läse, und fand wilde Ranken und las davon Koloquinten sein Kleid voll; und da er kam, schnitt er's in den Topf zum Gemüse, denn sie kannten es nicht.

39. Y salió uno al campo a coger yerbas: y halló una parra montés, y cogió de ella uvas monteses su ropa llena: y volvió, y cortólas en la olla del potaje: porque no sabían lo que era.

39 И вышел один из них в поле собирать овощи, и нашел дикое вьющееся растение, и набрал с него диких плодов полную одежду свою; и пришел и накрошил их в котел с похлебкою, так как они не знали их .

40. Ja he kaatoivat miesten syödä, mutta kun nämä maistoivat keittoa, huusivat he ja sanoivat: Jumalan mies, padassa on kuolema! Eivätkä he voineet syödä.

40. Ja kuin he sen antoivat miesten eteen syödä, söivät he liemestä ja huusivat, sanoen: Jumalan mies, kuolema on padassa! Sillä ei he saaneet syödä.

40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it happened, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out and said, O man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat of it.

40. Und da sie es ausschütteten für die Männer, zu essen, und sie von dem Gemüse aßen, schrieen sie und sprachen: O Mann Gottes, der Tod im Topf! denn sie konnten es nicht essen.

40. Y echó de comer a los varones: y fué que comiendo ellos de aquel guisado, dieron voces, diciendo: Varón de Dios, la muerte en la olla. Y no lo pudieron comer.

40 И налили им есть. Но как скоро они стали есть похлебку, то подняли крик и говорили: смерть в котле, человек Божий! И не могли есть.

41. Silloin hän sanoi: Tuokaa jauhoja. Ja hän heitti ne pataan. Sitten hän sanoi: Kaatakaa väen syödä. Eikä padassa ollut mitään vahingollista.

41. Ja hän sanoi: tuokaat tänne jauhoja, ja hän heitti pataan ja sanoi: antakaat kansalle syödä, ja ei ollut mitään vahinkoa padassa.

41. Er aber sprach: Bringt Mehl her! Und er tat's in den Topf und sprach: Schütte es dem Volk vor, daß sie essen! Da war nichts Böses in dem Topf.

41. El entónces dijo: Traed harina. Y esparcióla en la olla, y dijo: Echa de comer al pueblo. Y no hubo más mal en la olla.

41 И сказал он: подайте муки. И всыпал ее в котел и сказал Гиезию : наливай людям, пусть едят. И не стало ничего вредного в котле.

42. Ja eräs mies tuli Baal-Saalisasta ja toi Jumalan miehelle uutisleipää, kaksikymmentä ohraleipää ja tuleentumatonta viljaa repussansa. Silloin Elisa sanoi: Anna väelle syödä.

42 And a man came from Baal-shalishah and brought the man of God bread of the first-fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, Give to the people that they may eat.

42. And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

42. Es kam aber ein Mann von Baal-Salisa und brachte dem Mann Gottes Erstlingsbrot, nämlich zwanzig Gerstenbrote, und neues Getreide in seinem Kleid. Er aber sprach: Gib's dem Volk, daß sie essen!

42. Ítem, un varón vino de Baal-salisa, el cual trajo al varón de Dios, panes de primicias, veinte panes de cebada, y espigas de trigo nuevo en su espiga. Y él dijo: Dá al pueblo, y coman.

42 Пришел некто из Ваал-Шалиши, и принес человеку Божию хлебный начаток – двадцать ячменных хлебцев и сырые зерна в шелухе. И сказал Елисей: отдай людям, пусть едят.

43. Mutta hänen palvelijansa sanoi: Kuinka minä voin tarjota siitä sadalle miehelle? Hän sanoi: Anna väelle syödä; sillä näin sanoo Herra: He syövät, ja jää tähteeksikin.

43 And his servant said, What, should I set this before a hundred men? But he said, Give to the people that they may eat, for Jehovah says thus, They will eat and will leave of it.

43. And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.

43. Sein Diener sprach: Wie soll ich hundert Mann von dem geben? Er sprach: Gib dem Volk, daß sie essen! Denn so spricht der HERR: Man wird essen, und es wird übrigbleiben.

43. Y respondió el que le servía: ¿Cómo pondré esto delante de cien varones? Y él torno a decir: Dá al pueblo, y coman: porque Jehová dijo así: Comerán, y sobrará.

43 И сказал слуга его: что тут я дам ста человекам? И сказал он: отдай людям, пусть едят, ибо так говорит Господь: „насытятся, и останется".

44. Ja hän tarjosi heille; ja he söivät, ja jäi tähteeksikin, Herran sanan mukaan.

44 So he set it before them and they ate and left of it according to the word of Jehovah.

44. Und er legte es ihnen vor, daß sie aßen; und es blieb noch übrig nach dem Wort des HERRN.

44. Entónces él lo puso delante de ellos: y comieron, y sobróles conforme a la palabra de Jehová.

44 Он подал им, и они насытились, и еще осталось, по слову Господню.
