Profeetta Jeehu nuhtelee Joosafatia. Joosafat järjestaa oikeudenhoidon maassa.

1. Mutta Joosafat, Juudan kuningas, palasi onnellisesti takaisin kotiinsa Jerusalemiin.

1 И возвращался Иосафат, царь Иудейский, в мире в дом свой в Иерусалим.

2. Silloin Jeehu, Hananin poika, näkijä, meni kuningas Joosafatia vastaan ja sanoi hänelle: Oliko sinun autettava jumalatonta, ja rakastatko sinä niitä, jotka vihaavat Herraa? Sentähden on sinun päälläsi Herran viha.

2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to king Jehoshaphat, Should you help the wicked and love those who hate Jehovah? For this thing wrath is upon you from before Jehovah.

2. Und es gingen ihm entgegen hinaus Jehu, der Sohn Hananis, der Seher, und sprach zum König Josaphat: Sollst du so dem Gottlosen helfen, und lieben, die den HERRN hassen? Und um deswillen ist über dir der Zorn vom HERRN.

2. Y salióle al encuentro Jehú, hijo de Janani vidente, y dijo al rey Josafat: ¿A un impío das ayuda, y amas a los que aborrecen a Jehová? Mas la ira de la presencia de Jehová será sobre tí por ello.

2 И выступил навстречу ему Ииуй, сын Анании, прозорливец, и сказал царю Иосафату: следовало ли тебе помогать нечестивцу и любить ненавидящих Господа? За это на тебя гнев от лица Господня.

3. Kuitenkin on sinussa löydetty myös hyvää, sillä sinä olet hävittänyt aserat maasta ja kiinnittänyt sydämesi Jumalan etsimiseen.

3 Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have put away the Asheroth {Asherahs} out of the land and have set your heart to seek God.

3. Aber doch ist etwas Gutes an dir gefunden, daß du die Ascherabilder hast ausgefegt aus dem Lande und hast dein Herz gerichtet, Gott zu suchen.

3. Empero hánse hallado en tí buenas cosas, porque cortaste de la tierra los bosques, y has aparejado tu corazón a buscar a Dios.

3 Впрочем и доброе найдено в тебе, потому что ты истребил кумиры в земле Иудейской и расположил сердце свое к тому, чтобы взыскать Бога.

4. Niin Joosafat jäi Jerusalemiin. Sitten hän meni jälleen kansan keskeen, Beersebasta lähtien aina Efraimin vuoristoon saakka, ja palautti heidät takaisin Herran, heidän isiensä Jumalan, tykö.

4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem. And he went out again among the people from Beer-sheba to the hill-country of Ephraim and brought them back to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

4 И жил Иосафат в Иерусалиме. И опять стал он обходить народ свой от Вирсавии до горы Ефремовой, и обращал их к Господу, Богу отцов их.

6. Ja hän sanoi tuomareille: Katsokaa, mitä teette, sillä te ette ole tekemässä ihmisten tuomioita, vaan Herran tuomioita, ja hän on teidän kanssanne, kun te tuomitsette.

6 and said to the judges, Consider what you* do. For you* judge not for man, but for Jehovah and (he is) with you* in the judgment.

6. And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.

6. Und sprach zu den Richtern: Sehet zu, was ihr tut! denn ihr haltet das Gericht nicht den Menschen, sondern dem HERRN; und er ist mit euch im Gericht.

6. Y dijo a los jueces: Mirád lo que hacéis: porque no juzgáis en lugar de hombre, sino en lugar de Jehová, el cual está con vosotros en el negocio del juicio.

6 и сказал судьям: смотрите, что вы делаете, вы творите не суд человеческий, но суд Господа; и Он с вами в деле суда.

7. Hallitkoon siis teitä Herran pelko. Ottakaa vaari siitä, mitä teette, sillä Herrassa, meidän Jumalassamme, ei ole vääryyttä eikä puolueellisuutta, eikä hän ota lahjuksia.

7. Sentähden antakaat Herran pelvon olla teidän tykönänne, ja karttakaat teitänne ja tehkäät se; sillä Herran meidän Jumalamme tykönä ei ole yhtään vääryyttä, ei myös hän katso muotoa, eikä ota lahjoja.

7 Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you*. Take heed and do it. For there is no unrighteousness with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.

7. Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

7. Darum laßt die Furcht des HERRN bei euch sein und hütet euch und tut's; denn bei dem HERRN, unserm Gott, ist kein Unrecht noch Ansehen der Person noch Annehmen des Geschenks.

7. Sea pues con vosotros el temor de Jehová: guardád, y hacéd. Porque acerca de Jehová nuestro Dios no hay iniquidad, ni respeto de personas, ni recibir cohecho.

7 Итак да будет страх Господень на вас: действуйте осмотрительно, ибо нет у Господа Бога нашего неправды, ни лицеприятия, ни мздоимства.

8. Myöskin Jerusalemiin Joosafat asetti leeviläisiä, pappeja ja Israelin perhekunta-päämiehiä jakamaan Herran oikeutta ja ratkaisemaan riita-asioita. Ja he palasivat Jerusalemiin.

8 Moreover in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat set from the Levites and the priests and from the heads of the fathers of Israel for the judgment of Jehovah and for controversies. And they returned to Jerusalem.

8. Auch bestellte Josaphat zu Jerusalem etliche aus den Leviten und Priestern und aus den Obersten der Vaterhäuser in Israel über das Gericht des HERRN und über die Streitsachen und ließ sie zu Jerusalem wohnen,

8. Y puso también Josafat en Jerusalem a algunos de los Levitas, y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová, y para las causas; y volviéronse a Jerusalem.

8 И в Иерусалиме приставил Иосафат некоторых из левитов и священников и главпоколений у Израиля – к суду Господню и к тяжбам. И возвратились в Иерусалим.

9. Ja hän käski heitä sanoen: Tehkää Herraa peljäten, uskollisesti ja ehyellä sydämellä näin:

9 And he charged them, saying, Thus you* will do in the fear of Jehovah, faithfully and with a perfect heart.

9. und er gebot ihnen und sprach: Tut also in der Furcht des HERRN, treulich und mit rechtem Herzen.

9 И дал им повеление, говоря: так действуйте в страхе Господнем, с верностью и с чистым сердцем:

10. Jokaisessa riita-asiassa, minkä veljenne, jotka asuvat kaupungeissansa, tuovat teidän eteenne, koskipa se murhaa tai lakia, käskyä, säädöksiä tai oikeuksia, varoittakaa heitä, etteivät saattaisi itseänsä vikapäiksi Herran edessä ja ettei viha kohtaisi teitä ja teidän veljiänne. Näin tehkää, ettette tulisi vikapäiksi.

10. 10 And whenever any controversy will come to you* from your* brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you* will warn them, that they not be guilty towards Jehovah and so wrath come upon you* and upon your* brothers. Do this and you* will not be guilty.

10. And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

10. In allen Sachen, die zu euch kommen von euren Brüdern, die in ihren Städten wohnen, zwischen Blut und Blut, zwischen Gesetz und Gebot, zwischen Sitten und Rechten, sollt ihr sie unterrichten, daß sie sich nicht verschulden am HERRN und ein Zorn über euch und eure Brüder komme. Tut also, so werdet ihr euch nicht verschulden.

10. En cualquier causa que viniere a vosotros de vuestros hermanos que habitan en sus ciudades; entre sangre y sangre, entre ley y precepto, estatutos, o derechos; amonestarlos heis que no pequen contra Jehová, porque no venga ira sobre vosotros, y sobre vuestros hermanos: haciendo así, no pecaréis.

10 во всяком деле спорном, какое поступит к вам от братьев ваших, живущих в городах своих,о кровопролитии ли, или о законе, заповеди, уставах и обрядах, наставляйте их, чтобы они не провинились пред Господом, и не было бы гнева Его на вас и на братьев ваших; так действуйте, – и выне погрешите.

11. Ja katso, ylimmäinen pappi Amarja olkoon teillä esimiehenä kaikissa Herran asioissa ja Sebadja, Ismaelin poika, Juudan heimoruhtinas, kaikissa kuninkaan asioissa, ja olkoot leeviläiset teillä virkamiehinä. Olkaa lujat ja ryhtykää työhön; ja Herra olkoon sen kanssa, joka hyvä on.

11. Siehe, Amarja, der oberste Priester, ist über euch in allen Sachen des HERRN, und Sebadja, der Sohn Ismaels, der Fürst im Hause Juda's, in allen Sachen des Königs, und als Amtleute habt ihr die Leviten vor euch. Seid getrost und tut's, und der HERR wird mit dem Guten sein.

11. He aquí también Amarías sacerdote, él será el gefe sobre vosotros en todo negocio de Jehová; y Zabadías, hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; y los Levitas que serán los maestros delante de vosotros. Esforzáos pues, y hacéd: que Jehová será con el bueno.

11 И вот Амария первосвященник, над вами во всяком деле Господнем, а Зевадия, сын Исмаилов, князь дома Иудина, во всяком деле царя, и надзиратели левиты пред вами. Будьте тверды и действуйте, и будет Господь с добрым.
