Rehabeam kuninkaana. Valtakunnan jakaantuminen

1. Rehabeam meni Sikemiin, sillä koko Israel oli tullut Sikemiin tekemään häntä kuninkaaksi.

1 And Rehoboam went to Shechem. For all Israel came to Shechem to make him king.

1. And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.

1. Rehabeam zog gen Sichem; denn ganz Israel war gen Sichem gekommen, ihn zum König zu machen.

1. Y ROBOAM fué a Siquem, por- que en Siquem se había juntado todo Israel para hacerle rey.

1 И пошел Ровоам в Сихем, потому что в Сихем сошлись все Израильтяне, чтобы поставить его царем.

2. Kun Jerobeam, Nebatin poika, kuuli sen — hän oli Egyptissä, jonne oli paennut kuningas Salomoa — palasi Jerobeam Egyptistä.

2. Ja kuin Jerobeam, Nebatin poika sen kuuli joka oli Egyptissä, johonka hän oli paennut kuningas Salomon edestä, niin hän tuli Egyptistä jälleen.

2. Ja cosca Jerobeam Nebathin poica joca oli Egyptis sen cuuli ( johonga hän oli paennut Cuningas Salomon edest ) nijn hän tuli jällens.

2 And it happened, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it, (for he was in Egypt, from where he had fled from the presence of king Solomon), that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

2. And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of Solomon the king, heard it, that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

2. Und da das Jerobeam hörte, der Sohn Nebats, der in Ägypten war, dahin er vor dem König Salomo geflohen war, kam er wieder aus Ägypten.

2. Y como Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el cual estaba en Egipto, donde había huido a causa del rey Salomón, lo oyó, volvió de Egipto.

2 Когда услышал о сем Иеровоам, сын Наватов, - он находился в Египте, куда убежал от царя Соломона, – то возвратился Иеровоам из Египта.

3. Ja he lähettivät kutsumaan hänet. Niin Jerobeam ja koko Israel tuli saapuville, ja he puhuivat Rehabeamille sanoen:

3. Sillä he lähettivät ja antoivat hänen kutsuttaa. Ja Jerobeam tuli ja kaikki Israel; ja he puhuivat Rehabeamille ja sanoivat:

3 And they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all Israel came and they spoke to Rehoboam, saying,

3. Und sie sandten hin und ließen ihn rufen. Und Jerobeam kam mit dem ganzen Israel, und sie redeten mir Rehabeam uns sprachen:

3. Y enviaron y llamáronle. Y vino Jeroboam, y todo Israel, y hablaron a Roboam, diciendo:

3 И послали и звали его; и пришел Иеровоам и весь Израиль, и говорили Ровоаму так:

4. Sinun isäsi teki meidän ikeemme raskaaksi; mutta huojenna sinä nyt se kova työ, jota isäsi teetti, ja se raskas ies, jonka hän pani meidän niskaamme, niin me palvelemme sinua.

4. Sinun isäs teki meidän ikeemme ylen kovaksi; niin huojenna nyt isäs kova palvelus ja se raskas ijes, jonka hän laski meidän päällemme, niin me olemme sinun alamaises.

4. Sinun Isäs teki meidän ikem ylön cowaxi nijn huojenna nyt sinun Isäs cowa palwelus ja se rascas ijes jonga hän laski meidän päällem nijn me olem sinun alemmaises.

4 Your father made our yoke grievous. Now therefore make you the grievous service of your father and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter and we will serve you.

4. Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.

4. Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu hart gemacht; so erleichtere nun du den harten Dienst deines Vaters und das schwere Joch, das er auf uns gelegt hat, so wollen wir dir untertänig sein.

4. Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo, afloja tú pues ahora algo de la dura servidumbre, y del grave yugo con que tu padre nos apremió, y servirte hemos.

4 отец твой наложил на нас тяжкое иго; но ты облегчи жестокую работу отца твоего и тяжкое иго, которое он наложил на нас, и мы будем служить тебе.

5. Hän vastasi heille: Odottakaa kolme päivää ja tulkaa sitten takaisin minun tyköni. Ja kansa meni.

5. Ja hän sanoi heille: tulkaat minun tyköni jälleen kolmantena päivänä; ja kansa meni pois.

5. Ja hän sanoi heille: tulcat minun tygöni jällens colmandena päiwänä: ja Canssa meni matcaans.

5 And he said to them, Come again to me after three days. And the people departed.

5. And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.

5. Er sprach zu ihnen: Über drei Tage kommt wieder zu mir. Und das Volk ging hin.

5. Y él les dijo: Volvéd a mí de aquí a tres dias. Y el pueblo se fué.

5 И сказал им Ровоам : через три дня придите опять ко мне. И разошелся народ.

6. Kuningas Rehabeam neuvotteli vanhain kanssa, jotka olivat palvelleet hänen isäänsä Salomoa, kun tämä vielä eli, ja kysyi: Kuinka te neuvotte vastaamaan tälle kansalle?

6. Ja kuningas Rehabeam kysyi neuvoa vanhimmilta, jotka seisoivat hänen isänsä Salomon edessä hänen eläissänsä, ja sanoi: mitä te neuvotte vastaamaan tätä kansaa?

6 And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel do you* give me to return an answer to this people?

6. Und der König Rehabeam ratfragte die Ältesten, die vor seinem Vater Salomo gestanden waren, da er am Leben war, und sprach: Wie ratet ihr, daß ich diesem Volk Antwort gebe?

6. Entónces el rey Roboam tomó consejo con los viejos que habían estado delante de Salomón su padre, cuando vivía, y díjoles: ¿Cómo aconsejáis vosotros que responda a este pueblo?

6 И советовался царь Ровоам со старейшинами, которые предстояли пред лицем Соломона, отца его, при жизни его, и говорил: как вы посоветуете отвечать народу сему?

7. He vastasivat hänelle ja sanoivat: Jos sinä olet hyvä tätä kansaa kohtaan, olet armollinen heille ja puhut heille hyviä sanoja, niin he ovat sinun palvelijoitasi kaiken elinaikasi.

7. He puhuivat hänen kanssansa ja sanoivat: jos olet tälle kansalle ystävällinen ja suosittelet heitä, puhutellen heitä hyvillä sanoilla, niin he ovat aina sinulle alamaiset.

7 And they spoke to him, saying, If you are kind to this people and please them and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.

7. And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever.

7. Sie redeten mit ihm und sprachen: Wirst du diesem Volk freundlich sein und sie gütig behandeln und ihnen gute Worte geben, so werden sie dir untertänig sein allewege.

7. Y ellos le hablaron, diciendo: Si te hubieres humanamente con este pueblo, y los agradares, y les hablares buenas palabras, ellos te servirán perpetuamente.

7 Они сказали ему: если ты будешь добр к народу сему и угодишь им и будешь говорить с ними ласково, то они будут тебе рабами на все дни.

8. Mutta hän hylkäsi tämän neuvon, jonka vanhat hänelle antoivat, ja neuvotteli nuorten miesten kanssa, jotka olivat kasvaneet hänen kanssaan ja jotka palvelivat häntä.

8. Mutta hän hylkäsi vanhimpain neuvon, jonka he antoivat hänelle, ja piti neuvoa nuorukaisten kanssa, jotka hänen kanssansa kasvaneet olivat ja seisoivat hänen edessänsä,

8 But he forsook the counsel of the old men which they had given him and took counsel with the young men that grew up with him, who stood before him.

8. But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.

8. Er aber ließ außer acht den Rat der Ältesten, den sie ihm gegeben hatten, und ratschlagte mit den Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren und vor ihm standen,

8. Mas él dejando el consejo de los viejos, que le dieron, tomó consejo con los jóvenes, que se habían criado con él, y que asistían delante de él.

8 Но он оставил совет старейшин, который они давали ему, и стал советоваться с людьми молодыми, которые выросли вместе с ним,предстоящими пред лицем его;

9. Hän kysyi heiltä: Kuinka te neuvotte meitä vastaamaan tälle kansalle, joka on puhunut minulle sanoen: 'Huojenna se ies, jonka sinun isäsi on pannut meidän niskaamme'?

9. Ja sanoi heille: mitä te neuvotte vastaamaan tätä kansaa, joka minun kanssani puhui ja sanoi: huojenna se ijes, jonka isäs laski meidän päällemme?

9. Ja sanoi heille: mitä te neuwotte wastaman tätä Canssa joca minun cansani puhui ja sanoi: huojenna se ijes jonga Isäs laski meidän päällem?

9 And he said to them, What counsel do you* give, that we may return an answer to this people who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke that your father put upon us lighter?

9. And he said unto them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us?

9. und sprach zu ihnen: Was ratet ihr, daß wir diesem Volk antworten, die mit mir geredet haben und sagen: Erleichtere das Joch, das dein Vater auf uns gelegt hat?

9. Y díjoles: ¿Qué aconsejáis vosotros que respondamos a este pueblo que me ha hablado, diciendo: Alivia algo del yugo que tu padre puso sobre nosotros?

9 и сказал им: что вы посоветуете мне отвечать народу сему, говорившему мне так: облегчи иго, которое наложил на нас отец твой?

10. Niin nuoret miehet, jotka olivat kasvaneet hänen kanssaan, vastasivat hänelle sanoen: Sano näin tälle kansalle, joka on puhunut sinulle sanoen: 'Sinun isäsi teki meidän ikeemme raskaaksi, mutta huojenna sinä se meiltä' — sano heille näin: 'Minun pikkusormeni on paksumpi kuin minun isäni lantio.

10. Ja nuorukaiset, jotka olivat kasvaneet hänen kanssansa, puhuivat hänelle ja sanoivat: sano näin kansalle, joka puhui kanssas ja sanoi: isäs teki meidän ikeemme ylen raskaaksi, huojenna sinä se; ja sano heille: minun pienin sormeni pitää oleman paksumpi isäni kupeita.

10 And the young men that grew up with him spoke to him, saying, Thus you will say to the people who spoke to you, saying, Your father made our yoke heavy, but make you it lighter to us. Thus you will say to them, My little finger is thicker than my father's loins.

10. And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

10. Die Jungen aber, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren, redeten mit ihm und sprachen: So sollst du sagen zu dem Volk, das mit dir geredet und spricht: Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu schwer gemacht; mache du unser Joch leichter, und sprich zu ihnen: Mein kleinster Finger soll dicker sein den meines Vaters Lenden.

10. Entónces los jóvenes, que se habían criado con él, le hablaron, diciendo: Así dirás al pueblo que te ha hablado, diciendo: Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo, tú pues descárganos. Así les dirás: El menor dedo mío es más grueso que los lomos de mi padre.

10 И говорили ему молодые люди, выросшие вместе с ним, и сказали: так скажи народу, говорившему тебе: отец твой наложил на нас тяжкое иго, а ты облегчи нас, – так скажи им: мизинецмой толще чресл отца моего.

11. Jos siis isäni on sälyttänyt teidän selkäänne raskaan ikeen, niin minä teen teidän ikeenne vielä raskaammaksi; jos isäni on kurittanut teitä raipoilla, niin minä kuritan teitä piikkiruoskilla.'

11. Jos minun isäni on laskenut raskaan ikeen teidän päällenne, niin minä vielä lisään teidän ikeesenne: minun isäni rankaisi teitä ruoskilla, mutta minä skorpioneilla.

11. Jos minun Isän on laskenut ylön rascan iken teidän päällen nijn minä wielä lisän sijhen: minun Isän rangais teitä ruoskilla mutta minä Scorpioilla.

11 And now my father burdened you* with a heavy yoke, I will add to your* yoke. My father disciplined you* with whips, but I with scorpions.

11. For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

11. Hat nun mein Vater auf euch ein schweres Joch geladen, so will ich eures Joches noch mehr machen: mein Vater hat euch mit Peitschen gezüchtigt, ich aber mit Skorpionen.

11. Así que mi padre os cargó de grave yugo, y yo añadiré a vuestro yugo: mi padre os castigó con azotes, y yo con escorpiones.

11 Отец мой наложил на вас тяжкое иго, а я увеличу иго ваше; отец мой наказывал вас бичами, а я буду бить вас скорпионами.

12. Niin Jerobeam ja koko kansa tuli Rehabeamin tykö kolmantena päivänä, niinkuin kuningas oli käskenyt, sanoen: Tulkaa takaisin minun tyköni kolmantena päivänä.

12. Kuin Jerobeam ja kaikki kansa tulivat jälleen Rehabeamin tykö kolmantena päivänä, niinkuin kuningas puhunut oli, sanoen: tulkaat minun tyköni kolmantena päivänä jälleen;

12. COsca Jerobeam ja caicki Canssa tulit jällens Rehabeamin tygö colmandena päiwänä nijncuin Cuningas sanonut oli tulcat minun tygöni colmandena päiwänä jällens.

12 So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king commanded, saying, Come to me again the third day.

12. So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king bade, saying, Come again to me on the third day.

12. Als nun Jerobeam und alles Volk zu Rehabeam kam am dritten Tage, wie denn der König gesagt hatte: Kommt wieder zu mir am dritten Tage,

12. Vino pues Jeroboam y todo el pueblo a Roboam al tercero día, como el rey les había mandado, diciendo: Volvéd a mí de aquí a tres dias.

12 И пришел Иеровоам и весь народ к Ровоаму на третий день, как приказал царь, сказав: придите ко мне опять чрез три дня.

13. Ja kuningas antoi heille kovan vastauksen. Sillä kuningas Rehabeam hylkäsi vanhain neuvon

13. Niin kuningas vastasi heitä kovasti; ja kuningas Rehabeam hylkäsi vanhimpain neuvon,

13. Silloin Cuningas wastais heitä cowast ja Cuningas Rehabeam hyljäis wanhimmitten neuwon.

13 And the king answered them roughly. And king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,

13. And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,

13. antwortete ihnen der König hart. Und der König Rehabeam ließ außer acht den Rat der Ältesten

13. Y respondióles el rey ásperamente; y dejó el rey Roboam el consejo de los viejos,

13 Тогда царь отвечал им сурово, ибо оставил царь Ровоам совет старейшин, и говорил им по совету молодых людей так:

14. ja puhui heille nuorten miesten neuvon mukaan, sanoen: Jos minun isäni on tehnyt teidän ikeenne raskaaksi, niin minä teen sen vielä raskaammaksi; jos minun isäni on kurittanut teitä raipoilla, niin minä kuritan teitä piikkiruoskilla.

14. Ja puhui heidän kanssansa nuorukaisten neuvon jälkeen ja sanoi: isäni on teidän ikeenne raskaaksi tehnyt, mutta minä lisään siihen: isäni on rangaissut teitä ruoskilla, mutta minä skorpioneilla.

14. Ja puhui heidän cansas nuorucaisten neuwon jälken ja sanoi: ongo minun Isän teidän iken ylön rascaxi tehnyt nijn minä lisän sijhen: minun Isän on rangaisnut teitä ruoskilla mutta minä Scorpioilla.

14 and spoke to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your* yoke heavy, but I will add to it. My father disciplined you* with whips, but I with scorpions.

14. And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

14. und redete mit ihnen nach dem Rat der Jungen und sprach: Hat mein Vater euer Joch schwer gemacht, so will ich noch mehr dazu machen: mein Vater hat euch mit Peitschen gezüchtigt, ich aber mit Skorpionen.

14. Y hablóles conforme al consejo de los mancebos, diciendo: Mi padre agravó vuestro yugo, y yo añadiré a vuestro yugo: mi padre os castigó con azotes, y yo con escorpiones.

14 отец мой наложил на вас тяжкое иго, а я увеличу его; отец мой наказывал вас бичами, а я буду бить вас скорпионами.

15. Kuningas ei siis kuullut kansaa; sillä Jumala sen niin salli täyttääkseen sanansa, jonka hän oli puhunut Jerobeamille, Nebatin pojalle, siilolaisen Ahian kautta.

15. Ja ei kuningas kuullut kansaa; sillä se oli niin asetettu Jumalalta, että Herra tahtoi vahvistaa sanansa, jonka hän puhui Ahian Silonilaisen kautta Jerobeamille Nebatin pojalle.

15. Nijn ei Cuningas cuullut Canssa: sillä se oli nijn asetettu Jumalalda että HERra tahdoi wahwista sanans cuin hän puhui Ahian cautta Silost Jerobeamille Nebathin pojalle.

15 So the king did not listen to the people. For it was brought about by God, that Jehovah might establish his word, which he spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

15. So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

15. Also gehorchte der König dem Volk nicht; denn es war also von Gott gewandt, auf daß der HERR sein Wort bestätigte, das er geredet hatte durch Ahia von Silo zu Jerobeam, dem Sohn Nebats.

15. Y no escuchó el rey al pueblo: porque era la voluntad de Dios para complir Jehová su palabra que había hablado por Ahías Silonita a Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat.

15 И не послушал царь народа, потому что так устроено было от Бога, чтоб исполнить Господу слово Свое, которое изрек Он чрез Ахию Силомлянина Иеровоаму, сыну Наватову.

16. Kun koko Israel huomasi, ettei kuningas heitä kuullut, vastasi kansa kuninkaalle näin: Mitä osaa meillä on Daavidiin? Ei meillä ole perintöosaa Iisain poikaan. Majoillesi, Israel, joka mies! Valvo nyt huonettasi, Daavid! Ja koko Israel meni majoillensa.

16. Ja kuin kaikki Israel näki, ettei kuningas kuullut heitä, niin vastasi kansa kuningasta ja sanoi: mikä osa meillä on Davidissa? Ei meillä ole yhtään perimystä Isain pojassa: kukin majaansa, Israel! niin katso nyt David huonettas! Ja kaikki Israel meni majoillensa.

16. JA cosca caicki Israel näki ettei Cuningas cuullut heitä nijn wastais Canssa Cuningalle ja sanoi: mikä osa meillä sijtte on Dawidis eli perimys Isain pojas? cukin maajans Israel nijn cadzo nyt Dawid huonettas. Ja caicki Israel meni heidän majoins.

16 And when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? Neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse. Every man to your* tents, O Israel. Now see to your own house, David. So all Israel departed to their tents.

16. And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

16. Da aber das ganze Israel sah, daß ihnen der König nicht gehorchte, antwortete das Volk dem König und sprach: Was haben wir für Teil an David oder Erbe am Sohn Isais? Jedermann von Israel zu seiner Hütte! So siehe nun du zu deinem Hause, David! Und das ganze Israel ging in seine Hütten,

16. Y viendo todo Israel que el rey no le había oido, respondió el pueblo al rey, diciendo: ¿Qué parte tenemos nosotros con David, ni herencia en el hijo de Isaí? Israel cada uno a sus estancias: David mira ahora por tu casa. Así se fué todo Israel a sus estancias.

16 Когда весь Израиль увидел, что не слушает его царь, то отвечалнарод царю, говоря: какая нам часть в Давиде? Нет нам доли в сыне Иессеевом; по шатрам своим, Израиль! Теперь знай свой дом, Давид. И разошлись все Израильтяне по шатрам своим.

17. Niin Rehabeam tuli ainoastaan niiden israelilaisten kuninkaaksi, jotka asuivat Juudan kaupungeissa.

17. Ja Rehabeam hallitsi ainoastaan niitä Israelin lapsia, jotka asuivat Juudan kaupungeissa.

17. Ja Rebabeam hallidzi ainoastans Israelin lapset jotca asuit Judan Caupungeis.

17 But as for the sons of Israel who dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

17. But as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

17. also daß Rehabeam nur über die Kinder Israel regierte, die in den Städten Juda's wohnten.

17. Y reinó Roboam sobre los hijos de Israel, que habitaban en las ciudades de Judá.

17 Только над сынами Израилевыми, жившими в городах Иудиных, остался царем Ровоам.

18. Ja kun kuningas Rehabeam lähetti matkaan verotöiden valvojan Hadoramin, kivittivät israelilaiset hänet kuoliaaksi. Silloin kuningas Rehabeam nousi nopeasti vaunuihinsa ja pakeni Jerusalemiin.

18. Ja kuningas Rehabeam lähetti Hadoramin matkaan, joka oli veron päällä; mutta Israelin lapset kivittivät hänen kuoliaaksi. Ja kuningas Rehabeam astui nopiasti vaunuun pakenemaan Jerusalemiin.

18 Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was over the men subject to forced-labor. And the sons of Israel stoned him to death with stones. And king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

18. Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that was over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

18. Aber der König Rehabeam sandte Hadoram, den Rentmeister; aber die Kinder Israel steinigten ihn zu Tode. Und der König Rehabeam stieg stracks auf seinen Wagen, daß er flöhe gen Jerusalem.

18. Y envió el rey Roboam a Aduram, que tenía cargo de los tributos, y apedreáronle los hijos de Israel con piedras, y murió. Entónces el rey Roboam se hizo fuerte, y subiendo en un carro huyó a Jerusalem.

18 И послал царь Ровоам Адонирама, начальника над собиранием даней, и забросали его сыны Израилевы каменьями, и он умер. Царь же Ровоам поспешил сесть на колесницу, чтобы убежать в Иерусалим.
