10 luku

Epäjumalien turhuus. Herra on totinen Jumala. Kurituksen lievennystä rukoillaan.

1. Kuulkaa sana, jonka Herra on puhunut teitä vastaan, te Israelin heimo.

1 Hear the word which Jehovah speaks to you*, O house of Israel.

1. Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

1 Слушайте слово, которое Господь говорит вам, дом Израилев.

2. Näin sanoo Herra: Älkää totutelko itseänne pakanain menoon älkääkä kauhistuko taivaan merkkejä, sillä pakanat niitä kauhistuvat.

2. Näitä sanoo Herra: ei teidän pidä oppiman pakanain tapaa, eikä teidän pidä taivaan merkkejä pelkäämän; sillä pakanat niitä pelkäävät.

2 Jehovah says thus: Learn not the way of the nations and do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the nations are dismayed at them.

2. Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

2. So spricht der HERR: Ihr sollt nicht nach der Heiden Weise lernen und sollt euch nicht fürchten vor den Zeichen des Himmels, wie die Heiden sich fürchten.

2. Jehová dijo así: No aprendáis el camino de las naciones; ni de las señales del cielo tengáis temor, aunque las naciones las teman.

2 Так говорит Господь: не учитесь путям язычников и не страшитесь знамений небесных, которых язычники страшатся.

3. Sillä kansat noudattavat turhia jumalia; sillä ne ovat puuta, joka hakataan metsästä, puusepän kätten tekemiä, työaseella tehtyjä.

3. Sillä pakanain asetukset ei ole muu kuin turhuus; sillä he hakkaavat puun metsästä, ja työmies valmistaa sen kirveellä.

3 For the customs of the peoples are vanity. For a man cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.

3. Denn der Heiden Satzungen sind lauter Nichts. Denn sie hauen im Walde einen Baum, und der Werkmeister macht Götter mit dem Beil

3. Porque las leyes de los pueblos vanidad son; porque leño del monte cortaron, obra de manos de artífice con cepillo.

3 Ибо уставы народов – пустота: вырубают дерево в лесу, обделываютего руками плотника при помощи топора,

4. Ne koristetaan hopealla ja kullalla sekä kiinnitetään nauloilla ja vasaroilla, niin etteivät ne horju.

4. Ja kaunistaa sen hopialla ja kullalla, ja kiinnittää sen nauloilla ja vasaralla, ettei se järky.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold. They fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move.

4. und schmückt sie mit Silber und Gold und heftet sie mit Nägeln und Hämmern, daß sie nicht umfallen.

4. Con plata y oro lo engalanan, con clavos y martillos lo afirman, porque no se salga.

5. Ne ovat kuin linnunpelätin kurkkumaalla, eivät ne voi puhua; kantamalla täytyy niitä kantaa, sillä eivät ne voi astua. Älkää peljätkö niitä, sillä eivät ne voi pahaa tehdä; mutta eivät ne myöskään voi tehdä hyvää.

5. Ne ovat tehdyt niinkuin vahvat palmupuut, vaan ei he taida puhua; ja heitä täytyy myös kantaa, sillä ei he taida käydä; sentähden ei teidän pidä niitä pelkäämän, sillä ei ne taida pahaa eikä hyvää tehdä.

5 They are like a palm tree, of turned work and do not speak. They must be carried, because they cannot go. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor is it in them to do good.

5. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

5. Es sind ja nichts als überzogene Säulen. Sie können nicht reden; so muß man sie auch tragen, denn sie können nicht gehen. Darum sollt ihr euch nicht vor ihnen fürchten: denn sie können weder helfen noch Schaden tun.

5. Como una palma lo igualan, y no hablan: son llevados, porque no pueden andar: no tengáis temor de ellos; porque ni pueden hacer mal, ni para hacer bien tienen poder.

5 Они – как обточенный столп, и не говорят; их носят, потому что ходить не могут. Не бойтесь их, ибо они не могут причинить зла, но и добра делать не в силах.

6. Ei ole ketään sinun vertaistasi, Herra; sinä olet suuri, ja suuri ja voimallinen on sinun nimesi.

6. Mutta Herra, ei yksikään ole sinun vertaises; sinä olet suuri, ja sinun nimes on suuri; jonka sinä töilläs taidat osoittaa.

6. MUtta HERra ei yxikän ole sinun wertas sinä olet suuri ja sinun nimes on suuri jongas töilläs taidat osotta.

6 There is none like you, O Jehovah. You are great and your name is great in might.

6. Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

6. Aber dir, HERR, ist niemand gleich; du bist groß, und dein Name ist groß, und kannst es mit der Tat beweisen.

6. No hay semejante a tí, o! Jehová, grande tú, y grande tu nombre en fortaleza.

6 Нет подобного Тебе, Господи! Ты велик, и имя Твое велико могуществом.

7. Kuka ei sinua pelkäisi, sinä kansojen kuningas? Sillä siihen sinä olet arvollinen. Sillä kaikissa kansojen viisaissa ja kaikissa heidän valtakunnissansa ei ole yhtäkään sinun vertaistasi.

7. Kenenkä ei pitäisi sinua pelkäämän, sinä pakanain kuningas? Sinua pitää kuultaman; sillä ei kaikkein pakanain viisasten seassa eikä yhdessäkään valtakunnassa ole sinun vertaistas.

7. Kenengä ei pidäis sinua pelkämän sinä pacanain Cuningas? sinua pitä cuultaman: sillä ei caickein pacanain lasten seas eikä yhdesäkän waldacunnas ole sinun wertas.

7 Who should not fear you, O King of the nations? For to you it is befitting, inasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations and in all their royal estate, there is none like you.

7. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

7. Wer sollte dich nicht fürchten, du König der Heiden? Dir sollte man gehorchen; denn es ist unter allen Weisen der Heiden und in allen Königreichen deinesgleichen nicht.

7. ¿Quién no te temerá, o! rey de las naciones? porque a tí compete; porque entre todos los sabios de las naciones, y en todos sus reinos no hay semejante a tí.

7 Кто не убоится Тебя, Царь народов? ибо Тебе единому принадлежит это; потому что между всеми мудрецами народов и во всех царствах их нет подобного Тебе.

8. He ovat kaikki tyynni järjettömiä, tyhmiä. Turhain jumalien opettamista! Ne ovat puuta,

8. He ovat kaikki tyhmät ja taitamattomat; sillä puu osoittaa turhuuden.

8 But they are together stupid and foolish, the instruction of idols! It is but a block of wood.

8. But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

8. Sie sind allzumal Narren und Toren; denn ein Holz muß ja ein nichtiger Gottesdienst sein.

8. Y todos se enloquecerán, y se entoncerán: enseñamiento de vanidades es el mismo leño.

8 Все до одного они бессмысленны и глупы; пустое учение – это дерево.

9. ohueksi taottua hopeata, joka tuodaan Tarsiista, ja Uufaan kultaa, taiturin ja kultasepän kätten tekoa. Punasinistä ja punaista purppuraa on niiden puku. Taitajain tekoa ovat ne kaikki.

9. Taottu hopia tuodaan Tarsiksesta ja kulta Uphasta, valmistettu työmiehiltä ja hopiasepiltä; he puetetaan sinisillä villoilla ja purpuralla, jotka kaikki ovat taitavain työt.

9 There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz, the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith, blue and purple for their clothing. They are all the work of skillful men.

9. Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

9. Silbernes Blech bringt man aus Tharsis, Gold aus Uphas, durch den Meister und Goldschmied zugerichtet; blauen und roten Purpur zieht man ihm an, und ist alles der Weisen Werk.

9. Traerán plata extendida de Társis, y oro de Ufaz: obrará el artífice, y las manos del fundidor: vestirlos han de cárdeno y de púrpura: obra de sabios es todo.

9 Разбитое в листы серебро привезено из Фарсиса, золото – из Уфаза, дело художника и рук плавильщика; одежда на них – гиацинт и пурпур: все это – дело людей искусных.

10. Mutta Herra on totinen Jumala; hän on elävä Jumala ja iankaikkinen kuningas. Hänen vihastansa vapisee maa, ja kansat eivät kestä hänen suuttumustansa.

10. Mutta Herra on totinen Jumala, elävä Jumala ja ijankaikkinen kuningas; hänen vihansa edessä vapisee maa, ja pakanat ei taida kärsiä hänen uhkaustansa.

10. Mutta HERra on oikia Jumala eläwä Jumala ja ijancaickinen Cuningas hänen wihans edes wapise maa ja pacanat ei taida kärsiä hänen uhcaustans.

10 But Jehovah is the true God. He is the living God and an everlasting King. At his wrath the earth trembles and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.

10. But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

10. Aber der HERR ist ein rechter Gott, ein lebendiger Gott, ein ewiger König. Vor seinem Zorn bebt die Erde, und die Heiden können sein Drohen nicht ertragen.

10. Mas Jehová Dios es la verdad, él mismo es Dios vivo, y Rey eterno: de su ira tiembla la tierra, y las naciones no pueden sufrir su saña.

10 А Господь Бог есть истина; Он есть Бог живый и Царь вечный. От гнева Его дрожит земля, и народы не могут выдержать негодования Его.

11. Sanokaa heille näin: Jumalat, jotka eivät ole tehneet taivasta eikä maata, ne katoavat maan päältä ja taivaan alta.

11. Niin sanokaat siis heille näin: jumalat, jotka ei taivasta eikä maata tehneet ole, kadotkaan maasta ja taivaan alta.

11. Nijn sanocat sijs heille näin: jumalat jotca ei taiwasta eikä maata tehnet ole cadotcan maasta ja taiwan alda.

11 Thus you* will say to them: The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.

11. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

11. So sprecht nun zu ihnen also: Die Götter, die Himmel und Erde nicht gemacht haben, müssen vertilgt werden von der Erde und unter dem Himmel.

11. Decirles heis así: Dioses que no hicieron el cielo ni la tierra, perezcan de la tierra, y de debajo de estos cielos.

11 Так говорите им: боги, которые не сотворили неба и земли, исчезнут с земли и из-под небес.

12. Hän on tehnyt maan voimallansa, vahvistanut maanpiirin viisaudellansa ja levittänyt taivaat taidollansa.

12. Mutta hän on tehnyt maan voimallansa, ja vahvistanut maan piirin viisaudellansa, on myös levittänyt taivaan ymmärryksellänsä.

12. Mutta hän on tehnyt maan woimallans ja mailman pijrin wijsaudellans on myös lewittänyt taiwan ymmärryxelläns.

12 He has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom and by his understanding he has stretched out the heavens.

12. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

12. Er hat aber die Erde durch seine Kraft gemacht und den Weltkreis bereitet durch seine Weisheit und den Himmel ausgebreitet durch seinen Verstand.

12. El que hace la tierra con su potencia, el que pone en órden el mundo con su saber, y extiende los cielos con su prudencia:

12 Он сотворил землю силою Своею, утвердил вселенную мудростью Своеюи разумом Своим распростер небеса.

13. Kun hän jylisee, käy vetten pauhina taivaalla, ja hän nostaa pilvet maan ääristä, tekee salamat ja sateen ja tuo tuulen sen säilytyspaikoista.

13. Koska hän jylistää, silloin on paljo vettä taivaan alla, ja vetää ylös udun maan ääristä; hän tekee pitkäisen leimauksen sateen kanssa, ja antaa tuulen tulla kammioistansa.

13 When he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind out of his treasuries.

13. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

13. Wenn er donnert, so ist des Wassers die Menge unter dem Himmel, und er zieht die Nebel auf vom Ende der Erde; er macht die Blitze im Regen und läßt den Wind kommen aus seinen Vorratskammern.

13. A su voz se da multitud de aguas en el cielo, y hace subir las nubes de lo postrero de la tierra: hace los relámpagos con la lluvia, y hace salir al viento de sus escondederos.

13 По гласу Его шумят воды на небесах, и Он возводит облака от краев земли, творит молнии среди дождя и изводит ветер из хранилищ Своих.

14. Järjetön on jokainen ihminen, tietoa vailla, häpeän saa jokainen kultaseppä veistetystä kuvasta, petosta on hänen valamansa kuva, eikä niissä henkeä ole.

14. Kaikki ihmiset ovat tyhmät taidossansa, ja kaikki hopiasepät ovat häpiässä kuvinensa; sillä heidän kuvansa ovat petos, ja ei niissä ole henkeä.

14. Caicki ihmiset owat tyhmät heidän taidosans ja caicki hopiasepät owat häpiäs cuwinens: sillä heidän cuwans owat petos ja ei heisä ole henge.

14 Every man has become stupid, without knowledge. Every goldsmith is put to shame by his graven image. For his molten image is falsehood and there is no breath in them.

14. Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

14. Alle Menschen sind Narren mit ihrer Kunst, und alle Goldschmiede bestehen mit Schanden mit ihren Bildern; denn ihre Götzen sind Trügerei und haben kein Leben.

14. Todo hombre se embrutece a esta ciencia: avergüéncese de su vaciadizo todo fundidor; porque mentira es su obra de fundición, ni hay espíritu en ellos.

14 Безумствует всякий человек в своем знании, срамит себя всякий плавильщик истуканом своим , ибо выплавленное им есть ложь, и нет в нем духа.

15. Turhuutta ne ovat, naurettavia tekeleitä; kun niiden rangaistus tulee, ne hukkuvat.

15. Se on kaikki turha ja petollinen työ; heidän pitää hukkuman, kuin heitä etsiskellään.

15. Se on caicki turha ja petollinen työ heidän pitä huckuman cosca heitä edzitellän.

15 They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation they will perish.

15. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

15. Es ist eitel Nichts und ein verführerisches Werk; sie müssen umkommen, wenn sie heimgesucht werden.

15. Vanidad son, obra digna de escarnios: en el tiempo de su visitación perecerán.

15 Это совершенная пустота, дело заблуждения; во время посещения их они исчезнут.

16. Näiden kaltainen ei ole hän, joka on Jaakobin osa, sillä hän on kaiken Luoja, ja Israel on hänen perintösukunsa: Herra Sebaot on hänen nimensä.

16. Mutta Jakobin osa ei ole senkaltainen; vaan hän on se, joka kaikki luonut on, ja Israel on hänen perintönsä vitsa: Herra Zebaot on hänen nimensä.

16. Mutta Jacobin osa ei ole sencaltainen: waan hän on se joca caicki luonut on ja Israel on hänen perindöns widza hänen nimens on HERra Zebaoth.

16 The portion of Jacob is not like these. For he is the former of all things and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance. Jehovah of hosts is his name.

16. The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

16. Aber also ist der nicht, der Jakobs Schatz ist; sondern er ist's, der alles geschaffen hat, und Israel ist sein Erbteil. Er heißt HERR Zebaoth.

16. No es como ellos la suerte de Jacob; porque él es el Hacedor de todo; e Israel es la vara de su herencia, Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre.

16 Не такова, как их, доля Иакова; ибо Бог его есть Творец всего, и Израиль есть жезл наследия Его; имя Его – Господь Саваоф.

17. Kokoa tavarasi maasta pois, sinä, joka piiritettynä istut.

17. Ota sinun kauppas pois maasta, joka asut vahvassa kaupungissa.

17. Ota sinun cauppas pois maasta joca asut wahwas Caupungisa: sillä näin sano HERra:

17 Gather up your wares out of the land, O you who abides in the siege.

17. Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

17. Tue deinen Kram weg aus dem Lande, die du wohnest in der Feste.

17. Recoge de las tierras tus mercaderías, la que moras en lugar fuerte:

17 Убирай с земли имущество твое, имеющая сидеть в осаде;

18. Sillä näin sanoo Herra: Katso, tällä haavaa minä linkoan pois maan asukkaat ja ahdistan heitä, niin että saavat tarpeeksensa.

18. Sillä näin sanoo Herra: katso, minä heitän lingolla pois maan asuvaiset tällä erällä, ja vaivaan niin heitä, että heidän pitää sen tunteman.

18. Cadzo minä heitän pois tällä haawalla maan asujamet ja waiwan nijn heitä että heidän pitä sen tundeman.

18 For Jehovah says thus, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this time and will distress them, that they may feel it.

18. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

18. Denn so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will die Einwohner des Landes auf diesmal wegschleudern und will sie ängsten, daß sie es fühlen sollen.

18. Porque así dijo Jehová: He aquí que arrojaré con honda esta vez los moradores de la tierra, y afligirlos he, para que hallen.

18 ибо так говорит Господь: вот, Я выброшу жителей сей земли на сей раз и загоню их в тесное место, чтобы схватили их.

19. Voi minua minun vammani tähden! Kipeä on minun haavani; mutta minä sanon: Tämä on minun vaivani, minun on se kannettava.

19. Voi minun murheeni ja sydämeni suru! vaan minä luulen, että se on minun vaivani, jonka minun pitää kärsimän.

19. Woi minun murheni ja sydämeni suru: waan minä luulen että se on minun waiwan jonga minun pitä kärsimän: minun majan on hajotettu ja caicki minun nuorani owat catkennet.

19 Woe is me because of my hurt! My wound is grievous, but I said, Truly this is my grief and I must bear it.

19. Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.

19. Ach mein Jammer und mein Herzeleid! Ich denke aber: Es ist meine Plage; ich muß sie leiden.

19. ¡Ay de mí! sobre mi quebrantamiento, mi llaga es llena de dolor. Yo empero dije: Ciertamente enfermedad mía es esta, y de sufrirla he.

19 Горе мне в моем сокрушении; мучительна рана моя, но я говорю сам в себе: „подлинно, это моя скорбь, и я буду нести ее;

20. Minun telttani on hävitetty, ja kaikki minun telttaköyteni ovat katkotut; minun lapseni ovat lähteneet luotani, eikä niitä enää ole. Ei ole enää, kuka telttani pystyttäisi ja nostaisi seinieni kankaan.

20. Minun majani on hajoitettu, ja kaikki minun nuorani ovat katkenneet; minun lapseni ovat pois menneet minun tyköäni, eikä yhtään enään ole, eikä ole, joka rakentaa minun majani jälleen, ja ei kenkään pane ylös minun telttaani.

20 My tent is destroyed and all my cords are broken. My sons have gone forth from me and they are not. There is none to spread my tent any more and to set up my curtains.

20. My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

20. Meine Hütte ist zerstört, und alle meine Seile sind zerrissen. Meine Kinder sind von mir gegangen und nicht mehr da. Niemand ist, der meine Hütte wieder aufrichte und mein Gezelt aufschlage.

20. Mi tienda es destruida, y todas mis cuerdas rotas: mis hijos fueron sacados de mí, y perecieron: no hay ya más quien extienda mi tienda, ni quien levante mis cortinas.

20 шатер мой опустошен, и все веревки мои порваны; дети мои ушли от меня, и нет их: некому уже раскинуть шатра моего и развесить ковров моих,

21. Sillä paimenet olivat järjettömät eivätkä etsineet Herraa; sentähden he eivät menestyneet, vaan koko heidän laumansa hajotettiin.

21. Sillä paimenet ovat tyhmäksi tulleet, eikä kysy Herraa; sentähden ei he ymmärrä, vaan kaikki heidän laumansa on hajoitettu.

21. Sillä paimenet owat tyhmäxi tullet eikä kysy HERra.

21 For the shepherds have become stupid and have not inquired of Jehovah. Therefore they have not prospered and all their flocks are scattered.

21. For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

21. Denn die Hirten sind zu Narren geworden und fragen nach dem HERRN nicht; darum können sie auch nichts Rechtes lehren, und ihre ganze Herde ist zerstreut.

21. Porque los pastores se embrutecieron, y no buscaron a Jehová: por tanto no prosperaron, y todo su ganado se esparció.

21 ибо пастыри сделались бессмысленными и не искали Господа, а потому они и поступали безрассудно, и все стадо их рассеяно".

22. Ääni kuuluu! Katso, se tulee, suuri pauhina pohjoisesta maasta, tekemään Juudan kaupungit autioiksi, aavikkosutten asunnoksi.

22. Katso, sanoma tulee ja suuri vavistus pohjan maalta, saattamaan Juudan kaupungit kylmille ja lohikärmeiden asuinsiaksi.

23 O Jehovah, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

24 O Jehovah, instruct me, but in measure, not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.

25 Излей ярость Твою на народы, которые не знают Тебя, и на племена, которые не призывают имени Твоего; ибо они съели Иакова, пожрали его и истребили его, и жилище его опустошили.
