Daarajeves antaa luvan temppelin rakentamiseen. Temppeli valmistuu ja vihitään. Pääsiäisjuhla.

1. Niin kuningas Daarejaves antoi käskyn, että asiaa tutkittaisiin Baabelin arkistossa, jonne myös aarteet koottiin.

5 Да и сосуды дома Божия, золотые и серебряные, которые Навуходоносор вынес из храма Иерусалимского и отнес в Вавилон, пусть возвратятся и пойдут в храм Иерусалимский, каждый на место свое, и помещены будут в доме Божием.

7. Antakaa Jumalan temppelin rakennustyön olla rauhassa. Juutalaisten käskynhaltija ja juutalaisten vanhimmat rakentakoot Jumalan temppelin paikallensa.

7. Antakaat heidän tehdä työtä Jumalan huoneessa, että Juudalaisten päämies ja heidän vanhimpansa saisivat Jumalan huoneen rakennetuksi entiselle paikallensa.

8. Ja minä annan käskyn, mitä teidän on tehtävä juutalaisten vanhimmille heidän rakentaessaan Jumalan temppeliä: tuolta puolelta Eufrat-virran tulevista kuninkaan verotuloista suoritettakoon niille miehille tarkasti ja viivyttelemättä kustannukset.

8. On myös käsketty minulta, mitä Juudan vanhimmille pitää annettaman, että he rakentaisivat tämän Jumalan huoneen, nimittäin: että sille väelle pitää juuri kiiruusti ylöspitämys annettaman kuninkaan verokalusta siltä puolelta virtaa, ja ei heitä estettämän.

8 Moreover I make a decree what you* will do to these elders of the Jews for the building of this house of God: That of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the River, expenses be given with all diligence to these men, that they not be hindered.

8 И от меня дается повеление о том, чем вы должны содействовать старейшинам тем Иудейским в построении того дома Божия, и именно : из имуществацарского – из заречной подати – немедленно берите и давайте тем людям, чтобы работа не останавливалась;

9. Ja mitä tarvitaan, mullikoita, oinaita ja karitsoita polttouhreiksi taivaan Jumalalle, nisuja, suolaa, viiniä ja öljyä, se annettakoon heille Jerusalemin pappien esityksestä joka päivä, laiminlyömättä,

9 And what they have need of, both young bullocks and rams and lambs, for burnt offerings to the God of heaven, (also) wheat, salt, wine and oil, according to the word of the priests who are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail

9. Y lo que fuere necesario, becerros, y carneros, y corderos para holocaustos al Dios del cielo: trigo, sal, vino, y aceite, conforme a lo que dijeren los sacerdotes que están en Jerusalem, les sea dado cada un día sin algún embargo:

9 и сколько нужно – тельцов ли, или овнов и агнцев, на всесожженияБогу небесному, также пшеницы, соли, вина и масла, как скажут священники Иерусалимские, пусть будет выдаваемо им изо дня в день без задержки,

10. että he uhraisivat suloisesti tuoksuvia uhreja taivaan Jumalalle ja rukoilisivat kuninkaan ja hänen poikiensa hengen puolesta.

10 that they may offer sacrifices of sweet aroma to the God of heaven and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.

11. Ja minä annan käskyn, että kuka ikinä rikkoo tämän määräyksen, hänen talostaan revittäköön hirsi, ja hänet ripustettakoon ja naulittakoon siihen, ja hänen talostaan tehtäköön siitä syystä soraläjä.

11. Tämä käsky on minulta annettu, että kuka ikänä nämät sanat muuttaa, hänen huoneestansa pitää yksi hirsi reväistämän, joka pitää nostettaman ylös, ja hän siihen ripustettaman, ja hänen huoneensa pitää lokaläjäksi tehtämän sen työn tähden.

11 Also I have made a decree, that whoever will alter this word, let a beam be pulled out from his house and let him be lifted up and fastened on it and let his house be made a dunghill for this.

11. Von mir ist solcher Befehl geschehen. Und welcher Mensch diese Worte verändert, von des Hause soll man einen Balken nehmen und aufrichten und ihn daran hängen, und sein Haus soll dem Gericht verfallen sein um der Tat willen.

11. Ítem, por mí es dado mandamiento, que cualquiera que mudare este decreto, sea derribado un madero de su casa, y enhiesto sea colgado en él: y su casa sea hecha muladar por esto.

11 Мною же дается повеление, что если какой человек изменит это определение, то будет вынуто бревно из дома его, и будет поднят он и пригвожден к нему, а дом его за то будет обращен в развалины.

12. Ja Jumala, joka on asettanut nimensä siihen, kukistakoon jokaisen kuninkaan ja kansan, joka ojentaa kätensä rikkomaan tätä määräystä hävittämällä Jumalan temppelin Jerusalemissa. Minä Daarejaves olen antanut tämän käskyn; se tarkoin täytettäköön.

12. Jumala, joka on nimensä pannut asumaan siinä, tappakoon kaikki ne kuninkaat ja kansat, jotka ojentavat kätensä muuttamaan taikka särkemään tätä Jumalan huonetta, joka on Jerusalemissa. Minä Darius olen tämän käskyn antanut, ja se pitää juuri nopiasti tehtämän.

12 And the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow all kings and peoples who will put forth their hand to alter (the same), to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree, let it be done with all diligence.

12. Der Gott aber, der seinen Namen daselbst wohnen läßt, bringe um alle Könige und jegliches Volk, das seine Hand ausreckt, daran zu ändern und zu brechen das Haus Gottes in Jerusalem. Ich, Darius, habe dies befohlen, daß es mit Fleiß getan werde.

12. Y el Dios que hizo habitar allí su nombre destruya todo rey y pueblo que pusiere su mano para mudar o destruir esta casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalem. Yo Darío puse el decreto: sea hecho prestamente.

12 И Бог, Которого имя там обитает, да низложит всякого царя и народ, который простер бы руку свою, чтобы изменить сие ко вредуэтого дома Божия в Иерусалиме. Я, Дарий, дал это повеление; да будетоно в точности исполняемо".

13. Silloin Tattenai, Eufrat-virran tämänpuoleisen maan käskynhaltija, Setar-Boosenai ja heidän virkatoverinsa täyttivät tarkoin käskyn, jonka kuningas Daarejaves oli heille lähettänyt.

13 Then Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, Shethar-bozenai and their companions, because of what Darius the king had sent, did accordingly with all diligence.

14. Niin juutalaisten vanhimmat rakensivat, ja työ onnistui heille profeetta Haggain ja Sakarjan, Iddon pojan, ennustuksen tukemana. Ja he saivat sen valmiiksi Israelin Jumalan käskyn ja Kooreksen, Daarejaveksen ja Artahsastan, Persian kuninkaan, käskyn mukaan.

14. Ja Juudalaisten vanhimmat rakensivat, ja se menestyi, Haggain prophetan ja Sakarian Iddon pojan ennustuksen jälkeen; ja he rakensivat ja päättivät sen Israelin Jumalan käskyn jälkeen; ja Koreksen, Dariuksen ja Artahsastan Persian kuninkain käskyn jälkeen.

14 And the elders of the Jews built and prospered, through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished it according to the commandment of the God of Israel and according to the decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

14. Y los ancianos de los Judíos, edificaban y prosperaban, conforme a la profecia de Aggeo profeta, y de Zacarías, hijo de Addo: y edificaron, y acabaron por el mandamiento del Dios de Israel, y por el mandamiento de Ciro, y de Darío, y de Artaxerxes rey de Persia.

14 И старейшины Иудейские строили и преуспевали, по пророчеству Аггея пророка и Захарии, сына Адды. И построили и окончили, по воле Бога Израилева и по воле Кира и Дария и Артаксеркса, царей Персидских.

15. Tämä temppeli valmistui adar-kuun kolmanneksi päiväksi, nimittäin kuningas Daarejaveksen kuudentena hallitusvuotena.
