1. Mutta profeetta Haggai ja Sakarja, Iddon poika, profeetat, ennustivat Juudassa ja Jerusalemissa oleville juutalaisille Israelin Jumalan nimeen, hänen, jonka nimiin he olivat otetut.

1. Y PROFETIZÓ Aggeo profeta, y Zacarías, hijo de Addo, profetas, a los Judíos que estaban en Judea y en Jerusalem, en nombre del Dios de Israel, a ellos.

3 В то время пришел к ним Фафнай, заречный областеначальник, и Шефар-Бознай и товарищи их, и так сказали им: кто дал вам разрешение строить дом сей и доделывать стены сии?

4. Niin me sanoimme heille niiden miesten nimet, jotka tätä rakennusta rakensivat.

4 Then we told them after this manner, (namely,) what the names of the men were who were making this building.

5. Ja juutalaisten vanhinten yllä oli heidän Jumalansa silmä, niin ettei heitä estetty työstä, vaan meni kertomus asiasta Daarejavekselle ja odotettiin sitä koskevan kirjoituksen tuloa sieltä takaisin.

5 But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews and they did not make them cease till the matter should come to Darius and then answer should be returned by letter concerning it.

5. Aber das Auge ihres Gottes war über den Ältesten der Juden, daß ihnen nicht gewehrt ward, bis daß man die Sache an Darius gelangen ließ und darüber eine Schrift wiederkäme.

5. Mas los ojos de su Dios fueron sobre los ancianos de los Judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que la causa viniese a Darío: y entónces respondieron por carta sobre esto.

5 Но око Бога их было над старейшинами Иудейскими, и те не возбраняли им, доколе дело не отправили к Дарию, и доколе не пришло решение по этому делу.

6 The copy of the letter that Tattenai, the governor beyond the River and Shethar-bozenai and his companions the Apharsathchites {emissaries}, who were beyond the River, sent to Darius the king;

6. Dies ist aber der Inhalt des Briefes Thathnais, des Landpflegers diesseits des Wassers, und Sethar-Bosnais und ihres Rats, derer von Apharsach, die diesseits des Wassers waren, an den König Darius.

6. Traslado de la carta que envió Tatanai capitán de la otra parte del río, y Star-buzanai, y sus compañeros los Arfasaqueos, que estaban de la otra parte del río, al rey Darío:

6 Вот содержание письма, которое послал Фафнай, заречный областеначальник, и Шефар-Бознай с товарищами своими Афарсахеями, которые за рекою, к царю Дарию.

7. he näet lähettivät hänelle kertomuksen, ja siihen oli kirjoitettu näin: Kuningas Daarejavekselle kaikkea rauhaa!

7 they sent a letter to him, in which was written thus: To Darius the king, all peace.

7. Und die Worte die sie zu ihm sandten, lauteten also: Dem König Darius allen Frieden!

7. Enviáronle respuesta, y de esta manera era escrito dentro de ella: Al rey Darío toda paz.

7 В донесении, которое они послали к нему, вот что написано: Дарию царю – всякий мир!

8. Tietäköön kuningas, että me menimme Juudan maakuntaan, suuren Jumalan temppelille. Sitä rakennetaan suurista kivistä, ja hirsiä pannaan seiniin. Työ tehdään tarkasti ja sujuu heidän käsissään.

8 Be it known to the king, that we went into the province of Judah to the house of the great God, which is built with great stones and timber is laid in the walls. And this work goes on with diligence and prospers in their hands.

8. Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands.

8. Es sei kund dem König, daß wir ins jüdische Land gekommen sind zu dem Hause des großen Gottes, welches man baut mit behauenen Steinen, und Balken legt man in die Wände, und das Werk geht frisch vonstatten unter ihrer Hand.

8. Sea notorio al rey que fuimos a la provincia de Judea a la casa del Dios grande, la cual se edifica de piedra de marmol, y los maderos son puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace a priesa, y prospera en sus manos.

8 Да будет известно царю, что мы ходили в Иудейскую область, к дому Бога великого; и строится он из больших камней, и дерево вкладывается в стены; и работа сия производится быстро и с успехом идет в руках их.

9. Sitten me kysyimme vanhimmilta ja sanoimme heille näin: 'Kuka on käskenyt teitä rakentamaan tätä temppeliä ja panemaan kuntoon tätä muuria?'

9. Niin me kysyimme vanhimmilta ja sanoimme heille: kuka teille antoi käskyn rakentaa tätä huonetta ja näitä muureja perustaa?

9 Then we asked those elders and said to them thus: Who gave you* a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?

9. Wir aber haben die Ältesten gefragt und zu ihnen gesagt also: Wer hat euch befohlen, dies Haus zu bauen und seine Mauern zu machen?

9 Тогда мы спросили у старейшин тех и так сказали им: кто дал вам разрешение строить дом сей и стены сии доделывать?

10. Me kysyimme heiltä myöskin heidän nimiänsä ilmoittaaksemme ne sinulle ja kirjoitimme muistiin niiden miesten nimet, jotka ovat heitä johtamassa.

10 Also, we asked them their names, to certify to you, that we might write the names of the men who were at the head of them.

10 И сверх того об именах их мы спросили их, чтобы дать знать тебе и написать имена тех людей, которые главными у них.

11. Ja he antoivat meille tämän vastauksen: 'Me olemme taivaan ja maan Jumalan palvelijoita, ja me rakennamme uudestaan temppeliä, joka oli rakennettu monta vuotta sitten. Suuri Israelin kuningas sen rakensi ja sai sen valmiiksi.

11 And thus they returned us an answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth. And are building the house that was built these many years ago, which a great King of Israel built and finished.

11. Sie aber gaben uns solche Worte zur Antwort und sprachen: Wir sind Knechte des Gottes im Himmel und der Erde und bauen das Haus, das vormals vor vielen Jahren gebaut war, das ein großer König Israels gebaut hat und aufgerichtet.

11. Y nos respondieron así, diciendo: Nosotros somos siervos del Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ha sido edificada ántes muchos años ha, que el gran rey de Israel edificó y fundó.

11 И они ответили нам такими словами: мы рабы Бога неба и земли и строим дом, который был построен за много лет прежде сего, – и великий царь у Израиля строил его и довершил его.

12. Mutta koska meidän isämme vihoittivat taivaan Jumalan, antoi hän heidät kaldealaisen Nebukadnessarin, Baabelin kuninkaan, käsiin; ja hän hävitti tämän temppelin ja vei kansan pakkosiirtolaisuuteen Baabeliin.

12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to wrath. He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away into Babylon.

12. Da aber unsre Väter den Gott des Himmels erzürnten, gab er sie in die Hand Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, des Chaldäers; der zerbrach dies Haus und führte das Volk weg gen Babel.

12. Mas después que nuestros padres ensañaron al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, Caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa, e hizo traspasar el pueblo en Babilonia.

12 Когда же отцы наши прогневали Бога небесного, Он предал их в руку Навуходоносора, царя Вавилонского, Халдеянина; и дом сей он разрушил, и народ переселил в Вавилон.

13. Mutta Kooreksen, Baabelin kuninkaan, ensimmäisenä hallitusvuotena antoi kuningas Koores käskyn rakentaa uudestaan tämän Jumalan temppelin.

13 But in the first year of Cyrus king of Babylon, Cyrus the king made a decree to build this house of God.

13. But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

13. Aber im ersten Jahr des Kores, des Königs zu Babel, befahl derselbe König Kores, dies Haus Gottes zu bauen.

13. Empero el primer año de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el rey Ciro dió mandamiento para que esta casa de Dios fuese edificada.

13 Но в первый год Кира, царя Вавилонского, царь Кир дал разрешение построить сей дом Божий;

14. Kuningas Koores antoi myös tuoda Baabelin temppelistä esiin Jumalan temppelin kulta- ja hopeakalut, jotka Nebukadnessar oli vienyt pois Jerusalemin temppelistä ja tuonut Baabelin temppeliin; ja ne annettiin Sesbassar-nimiselle miehelle, jonka hän oli asettanut käskynhaltijaksi.

14 And also the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem and brought into the temple of Babylon, those Cyrus the king took out of the temple of Babylon and they were delivered to one whose name was Sheshbazzar whom he had made governor.

14. And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;

14. Denn auch die goldenen und silbernen Gefäße im Hause Gottes, die Nebukadnezar aus dem Tempel zu Jerusalem nahm und brachte sie in den Tempel zu Babel, nahm der König Kores aus dem Tempel zu Babel und gab sie Sesbazar mit Namen, den er zum Landpfleger setzte,

14. Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalem, y los había metido en el templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados a Sasabasar, al cual había puesto por capitán.

14 да и сосуды дома Божия, золотые и серебряные, которые Навуходоносор вынес из храма Иерусалимского и отнес в храм Вавилонский, – вынес Кир царь из храма Вавилонского; и отдали их по имени Шешбацару, которого он назначил областеначальником,

15. Ja hän sanoi tälle: Ota nämä kalut, mene ja pane ne Jerusalemin temppeliin. Ja Jumalan temppeli rakennettakoon entiselle paikallensa.

15 And he said to him, Take these vessels. Go put them in the temple that is in Jerusalem and let the house of God be built in its place.

15. und sprach zu ihm: Diese Gefäße nimm, zieh hin und bringe sie in den Tempel zu Jerusalem und laß das Haus Gottes bauen an seiner Stätte.

15. Y le dijo: Toma estos vasos, vé, y pónlos en el templo que está en Jerusalem, y la casa de Dios sea edificada en su lugar.

15 и сказал ему: возьми сии сосуды, пойди и отнеси их в храм Иерусалимский, и пусть дом Божий строится на своем месте.

16. Niin tämä Sesbassar tuli ja laski Jumalan temppelin perustuksen Jerusalemissa. Ja siitä ajasta alkaen tähän saakka sitä on rakennettu, eikä se vieläkään ole valmis.'

16. Silloin tuli se Sesbatsar ja laski Jumalan huoneen perustuksen Jerusalemissa; ja siitä ajasta niin tähän asti on sitä rakennettu, ja ei ole vielä täytetty.

16 Then the same Sheshbazzar came and laid the foundations of the house of God which is in Jerusalem. And since that time even until now it has been in building and yet it is not completed.

16. Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.

16. Da kam derselbe Sesbazar und legte den Grund am Hause Gottes zu Jerusalem. Seit der Zeit baut man, und es ist noch nicht vollendet.

16. Entónces este Sasabasar vino, y puso los fundamentos de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem, y desde entónces hasta ahora se edifica, y aun no es acabada.

16 Тогда Шешбацар тот пришел, положил основания дома Божия в Иерусалиме; и с тех пор доселе он строится, и еще не кончен.

17. Jos kuningas siis hyväksi näkee, niin tutkittakoon kuninkaan aarrekammiossa siellä Baabelissa, onko niin, että kuningas Koores on antanut käskyn rakentaa tämän Jumalan temppelin Jerusalemissa; ja lähettänee kuningas meille tiedon tahdostansa tässä asiassa.

17. Nyt siis jos kuninkaalle kelpaa, niin antakaan etsiä kuninkaan tavarahuoneessa, joka on Babelissa, jos se on käsketty Kores kuninkaalta, heidän rakentaa tätä Jumalan huonetta, joka on Jerusalemissa, ja antakoon tästä asiasta meidän tietää kuninkaan tahdon.

17 Now therefore, if it seems good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure-house, which is there at Babylon, whether it is so, that a decree was made from Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.

17. Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.

17. Gefällt es nun dem König, so lasse er suchen in dem Schatzhause des Königs, das zu Babel ist, ob's von dem König Kores befohlen sei, das Haus Gottes zu Jerusalem zu bauen, und sende zu uns des Königs Meinung darüber.

17. Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro haya sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios que está en Jerusalem: y envíenos sobre esto la voluntad del rey.

17 Итак, если царю благоугодно, пусть поищут в доме царских сокровищ, там в Вавилоне, точно ли царем Киром дано разрешение строить сей дом Божий в Иерусалиме, и царскую волю о сем пусть пришлют к нам.
