Ruth lepää Booan jalkapohjissa.

1. Und Naemi, ihre Schwiegermutter, sprach zu ihr: Meine Tochter, ich will dir Ruhe schaffen, daß dir's wohl gehe.

1. Y DÍJOLE su suegra Noemí: Hija mía, ¿no te tengo de buscar descanso, que te sea bueno?

1 И сказала ей Ноеминь, свекровь ее: дочь моя, не поискать ли тебе пристанища, чтобы тебе хорошо было?

2. Onhan Booas, jonka palvelijattarien kanssa olit, sukulaisemme; katso, hän viskaa tänä yönä ohria puimatantereella.

2. Boas, meidän sukulaisemme, jonka piikain tykönä sinä olet ollut, katso, hän viskaa tänä yönä ohria luvassansa.

2. Boas meidän sucum jonga pijcain tykönä sinä olet ollut wisca tänä yönä ohria hänen luwasans.

2 And now is not Boaz our kinsman, with whose maidens you were? Behold, he winnows barley tonight in the threshing-floor.

2. And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

2. Nun, der Boas, unser Verwandter, bei des Dirnen du gewesen bist, worfelt diese Nacht Gerste auf seiner Tenne.

2. ¿No es nuestro pariente Booz, con cuyas mozas tú has estado? He aquí que él avienta esta noche la parva de las cebadas.

2 Вот, Вооз, со служанками которого ты была, родственник наш; вот, он в эту ночь веет на гумне ячмень;

3. Niin peseydy nyt ja voitele itsesi ja pukeudu ja mene puimatantereelle; mutta älä näyttäydy hänelle, ennenkuin hän on syönyt ja juonut.

3. Niin pese itses ja voitele sinus, ja vaateta itses ja mene luvaan, ettei yksikään sinua tunne, siihenasti kuin syöty ja juotu on.

3. Nijn pese idzes ja woitele sinus öljyllä ja waateta idzes ja mene luwaan ettei yxikän sinua tunne sijhenasti cuin syöty ja juotu on.

3 Therefore wash yourself and anoint you and put your garments upon you and get you down to the threshing-floor. But do not make yourself known to the man until he will have done eating and drinking.

3. Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

3. So bade dich und salbe dich und lege dein Kleid an und gehe hinab auf die Tenne; gib dich dem Manne nicht zu erkennen, bis er ganz gegessen und getrunken hat.

3. Tú pues lavarte has, y ungirte has, y vestirte has tus vestidos, y vendrás a la era, y no te darás a conocer al varón hasta que él acabe de comer y de beber.

3 умойся, помажься, надень на себя нарядные одежды твои и пойди на гумно, но не показывайся ему, доколе не кончит есть и пить;

4. Kun hän panee maata, niin katso, mihin paikkaan hän panee maata, ja mene ja nosta peitettä hänen jalkojensa kohdalta ja pane siihen maata; hän sanoo sitten sinulle, mitä sinun on tehtävä."

4. Kuin hän maata panee, niin katso paikka, kussa hän makaa: niin mene ja nosta vaate hänen jalkainsa päältä ja pane siihen maata; niin hän kyllä sinulle sanoo, mitä sinun tekemän pitää.

4. Cosca hän idzens lewätä pane nijn cadzo cuhunga hän pane ja mene ja nosta waatten liewe hänen jalcains pääldä ja pane idzes lewätä nijn hän kyllä sinulle sano mitä sinun tekemän pitä.

4 And it will be, when he lies down, that you will notice the place where he will lie. And you will go in and uncover his feet and lie you down. And he will tell you what you will do.

4. And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.

4. Wenn er sich dann legt, so merke den Ort, da er sich hin legt, und komm und decke auf zu seinen Füßen und lege dich, so wird er dir wohl sagen, was du tun sollst.

4. Y cuando él se acostare, sabe tú el lugar donde él se acostará, y vendrás, y descubrirás los piés, y acostarte has: y él te dirá lo que hayas de hacer.

4 когда же он ляжет спать, узнай место, где он ляжет; тогда придешь и откроешь у ног его и ляжешь; он скажет тебе, что тебе делать.

5. Ruut vastasi hänelle: "Minä teen kaiken, mitä sanot."

5. Hän sanoi hänelle: kaikki, mitä sinä sanot minulle, teen minä.

5. Hän sanoi hänelle: caicki mitä sinä sanot minulle teen minä.

5 And she said to her, All that you say I will do.

5. And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.

5. Sie sprach zu ihr: Alles, was du mir sagst, will ich tun.

5. Y ella le respondió: Todo lo que tú me mandáres, haré.

5 Руфь сказала ей: сделаю все, что ты сказала мне.

6. Niin hän meni alas puimatantereelle ja teki aivan niin, kuin hänen anoppinsa oli häntä käskenyt.

6. Hän meni luvaan ja teki kaikki mitä hänen anoppinsa hänelle käski.

6. HÄn meni luwaan ja teki caicki cuin hänen anoppins hänelle käski.

6 And she went down to the threshing-floor and did according to all that her mother-in-law commanded her.

6. And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.

6. Sie ging hinab zur Tenne und tat alles, wie ihre Schwiegermutter geboten hatte.

6. Y descendiendo a la era, hizo todo lo que su suegra le había mandado.

6 И пошла на гумно и сделала все так, как приказывала ей свекровь ее.

7. Ja kun Booas oli syönyt ja juonut, tuli hänen sydämensä iloiseksi, ja hän meni maata viljakasan ääreen. Ja Ruut tuli hiljaa ja nosti peitettä hänen jalkojensa kohdalta ja pani siihen maata.

7. Ja kuin Boas oli syönyt ja juonut, tuli hänen sydämensä iloiseksi, ja hän meni levätä yhden kuhilaan taa. Ja hän tuli salaisesti ja nosti vaatteen hänen jalkainsa päältä, ja pani siihen levätä.

7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain. And she came softly and uncovered his feet and laid down.

7. And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down.

7. Und da Boas gegessen und getrunken hatte, ward sein Herz guter Dinge, und er kam und legte sich hinter einen Kornhaufen; und sie kam leise und deckte auf zu seinen Füßen und legte sich.

7. Y como Booz hubo comido y bebido, y su corazón estuvo bueno, entróse a dormir a un canto del montón. Entónces ella vino escondidamente, y descubrió los piés, y acostóse.

7 Вооз наелся и напился, и развеселил сердце свое, и пошел и лег спать подле скирда. И она пришла тихонько, открыла у ног его и легла.

8. Puoliyön aikana mies säikähti ja kumartui eteenpäin; ja katso, nainen makasi hänen jalkapohjissaan.

8. Puoliyön aikaan peljästyi mies ja käänsi itsensä: ja katso, vaimo makasi hänen jalkainsa juuressa.

8 And it happened at midnight, that the man was startled and turned himself, and behold, a woman lay at his feet.

8. And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.

8. Da es nun Mitternacht ward, erschrak der Mann und beugte sich vor; und siehe, ein Weib lag zu seinen Füßen.

8. Y aconteció, que a la media noche el varón se estremeció, y atentó, y, he aquí la mujer que estaba acostada a sus piés.

8 В полночь он содрогнулся, приподнялся, и вот, у ног его лежит женщина.

9. Ja hän kysyi: "Kuka sinä olet?" Hän vastasi: "Minä olen Ruut, palvelijattaresi. Levitä liepeesi palvelijattaresi yli, sillä sinä olet minun sukulunastajani."

9. Ja hän sanoi: kukas olet? Hän vastasi: minä olen Ruut, sinun palkollises: levitä siipes piikas ylitse, sillä sinä olet perillinen.

9. Ja hän sanoi: cucas olet? hän wastais: minä olen Ruth sinun palcollises lewitä sinun sijpes ylidze sinun pijcas: sillä sinä olet perillinen.

9 And he said, Who are you? And she answered, I am Ruth your handmaid. Therefore spread your skirt over your handmaid, for you are a near kinsman.

9. And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.

9. Und er sprach: Wer bist du? Sie antwortete: Ich bin Ruth, deine Magd. Breite deine Decke über deine Magd; denn du bist der Erbe.

9. Entónces él dijo: ¿Quién eres? Y ella respondió: Yo soy Rut tu sierva: extiende el canto de tu capa sobre tu sierva, que redentor eres.

9 И сказал ей Вооз : кто ты? Она сказала: я Руфь, раба твоя, простри крыло твое на рабу твою, ибо ты родственник.

10. Hän sanoi: "Herra siunatkoon sinua, tyttäreni! Sinä olet osoittanut sukurakkauttasi nyt viimeksi vielä kauniimmin kuin aikaisemmin, kun et ole kulkenut nuorten miesten jäljessä, et köyhien etkä rikkaitten.

10. Hän sanoi: siunattu ole sinä Herrassa, minun tyttäreni: sinä olet parantanut ensimäisen armotyön sillä viimeisellä, ettes ole seurannut nuorukaisia, köyhiä eli rikkaita.

10. HÄn sanoi: siunattu ole sinä HERrasa minun tyttären sinä olet parandanut ensimäisen armon työn sillä wijmeisellä ettes ole seurannut nuorucaisia rickaita eli köyhiä.

10 And he said, You are blessed of Jehovah, my daughter. You have shown more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as you did not follow young men, whether poor or rich.

10. And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.

10. Er aber sprach: Gesegnet seist du dem HERRN, meine Tochter! Du hast deine Liebe hernach besser gezeigt den zuvor, daß du bist nicht den Jünglingen nachgegangen, weder reich noch arm.

10. Y él dijo: Bendita seas tú de Jehová, hija mía, que has hecho mejor tu postrera gracia que la primera: no yendo tras los mancebos, sean pobres, o sean ricos.

10 Вооз сказал: благословенна ты от Господа, дочь моя! это последнее твое доброе дело сделала ты еще лучше прежнего, что ты не пошла искать молодых людей, ни бедных, ни богатых;

11. Ja nyt, tyttäreni, älä pelkää; kaiken, mitä sanot, teen minä sinulle. Sillä minun kansani portissa jokainen tietää sinut kunnialliseksi naiseksi.

11. Ja nyt, tyttäreni, älä pelkää: kaikki, mitäs sanot, teen minä sinulle; sillä koko minun kansani kaupunki tietää, ettäs olet kunniallinen vaimo.

11. Minun tyttären älä pelkä caicki mitäs sanot teen minä sinulle: sillä coco minun Canssani Caupungi tietä ettäs olet cunniallinen waimo.

11 And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do to you all that you say, for all the city of my people know that you are a worthy woman.

11. And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.

11. Nun, meine Tochter, fürchte dich nicht. Alles was du sagst, will ich dir tun; denn die ganze Stadt meines Volkes weiß, daß du ein tugendsam Weib bist.

11. No hayas temor pues ahora, hija mía: yo haré contigo todo lo que tú dijeres, pues que toda la puerta de mi pueblo sabe que eres mujer virtuosa.

11 итак, дочь моя, не бойся, я сделаю тебе все, что ты сказала; ибо у всех ворот народа моего знают, что ты женщина добродетельная;

12. Totta on, että minä olen sinun sukulunastajasi, mutta on vielä toinen sukulunastaja, joka on läheisempi kuin minä.

12. Se on tosi, että minä olen perillinen; mutta toinen on läheisempi minua.

12. Se on tosi että minä olen perillinen mutta yxi toinen on lähimmäisembi minua.

12 And now it is true that I am a near kinsman. However there is a kinsman nearer than I.

12. And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.

12. Nun, es ist wahr, daß ich der Erbe bin; aber es ist einer näher denn ich.

12. Y ahora aunque es cierto que yo soy el redentor; con todo eso hay otro redentor más cercano que yo.

12 хотя и правда, что я родственник, но есть еще родственник ближе меня;

13. Jää tähän yöksi; jos hän huomenna lunastaa sinut, niin hyvä; lunastakoon. Mutta jollei hän halua lunastaa sinua, niin minä lunastan sinut, niin totta kuin Herra elää. Lepää siinä aamuun asti."

13. Ole tässä yö, ja jos hän huomenna omistaa sinun, niin se on hyvä, vaan jollei hän tahdo omistaa sinua, niin minä omistan sinun, niin totta kuin Herra elää: lepää huomeneen asti.

13. Ole täsä yö jos hän huomen omista sinun nijn se on hywä waan jollei nijn minä otan sinun nijn totta cuin HERra elä: lewä huomenen asti.

13 Remain this night and it will be in the morning that if he will perform to you the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part. But if he will not do the part of a kinsman to you, then I will do the part of a kinsman to you, as Jehovah lives. Lie down until the morning.

13. Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

13. Bleibe über Nacht. Morgen, so er dich nimmt, wohl; gelüstet's ihn aber nicht, dich zu nehmen, so will ich dich nehmen, so wahr der HERR lebt. Schlaf bis zum Morgen.

13. Reposa esta noche, y cuando sea de día, si aquel te redimiere, bien, redímate: mas si él no te quisiere redimir, yo te redimiré, vive Jehová. Reposa pues hasta la mañana.

13 переночуй эту ночь; завтра же, если он примет тебя, то хорошо, пусть примет; а если он не захочет принять тебя, то я приму; жив Господь! Спи до утра.

14. Niin hän lepäsi hänen jalkapohjissaan aamuun asti, mutta nousi, ennenkuin kukaan vielä voi tuntea toisensa. Ja Booas ajatteli: "Älköön tulko tunnetuksi, että tuo nainen on tullut tänne puimatantereelle."

14. Ja hän lepäsi huomeneen asti hänen jalkainsa juuressa, ja nousi ennenkuin yksikään toisensa tunsi, ja sanoi: ei pidä kenenkään tietämän vaimon luvaan tulleeksi.

14. Ja hän lewäis huomenen asti hänen jalcains juures. Ja hän nousi ennencuin yxikän toisens tunsi ja hän ajatteli ettei yxikän tietäis waimo luwaan tullexi.

14 And she lay at his feet until the morning. And she rose up before one could discern another. For he said, Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing-floor.

14. And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.

14. Und sie schlief bis zum Morgen zu seinen Füßen. Und sie stand auf, ehe denn einer den andern erkennen konnte; und er gedachte, daß nur niemand innewerde, daß das Weib in die Tenne gekommen sei.

14. Y reposó a sus piés hasta la mañana,y levantóse ántes que nadie pudiese conocer a otro, y él dijo. No se sepa que la mujer haya venido a la era:

14 И спала она у ног его до утра и встала прежде, нежели могли они распознать друг друга. И сказал Вооз: пусть не знают, что женщина приходила на гумно.

15. Ja hän sanoi: "Anna tänne vaippa, joka on ylläsi, ja pidä sitä." Ja Ruut piti sitä. Silloin hän mittasi siihen kuusi mittaa ohria ja pani ne hänen selkäänsä. Ja hän meni kaupunkiin.

15. Ja hän sanoi: anna liinavaattees joka ylläs on, ja ota siihen; ja hän otti siihen. Ja hän mittasi hänelle kuusi mittaa ohria ja pani ne hänen päällensä. Ja hän itse tuli kaupunkiin.

15. Ja sanoi: ojenna tänne sinun waattes cuin ylläs on ja lewitä edes ja hän piti sen edes. Ja hän mittais hänelle cuusi mitta ohria ja pani hänen päällens. Ja hän idze tuli Caupungijn.

15 And he said, Give me the cloak that is upon you and hold it. And she held it and he measured six (measures) of barley and laid it on her and he went into the city.

15. Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city.

15. Und sprach: Lange her den Mantel, den du anhast, und halt ihn. Und sie hielt ihn. Und er maß sechs Maß Gerste und legte es auf sie. Und er kam in die Stadt.

15. Y dijo a ella: Llega el lienzo que traes sobre tí, y ten de él. Y teniendo de él, él midio seis medidas de cebada, y púsoselas acuestas, y vínose a la ciudad.

15 И сказал ей: подай верхнюю одежду, которая на тебе, подержи ее. Она держала, и он отмерил ей шесть мер ячменя, и положил на нее, и пошел в город.

16. Ja Ruut tuli anoppinsa luo, joka sanoi: "Kuinka kävi, tyttäreni?" Niin hän kertoi hänelle kaikki, mitä mies oli hänelle tehnyt;

16. Mutta vaimo meni anoppinsa tykö, joka sanoi: kuinka sinulle menestyy, tyttäreni? Ja hän jutteli hänelle kaikki, mitä mies oli tehnyt,

16. Mutta waimo meni anoppins tygö joca sanoi: cuinga sinun menesty minun tyttären? ja hän jutteli hänelle caicki mitä mies oli tehnyt.

16 And when she came to her mother-in-law, she said, Who are you, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.

16. And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.

16. Sie aber kam zu ihrer Schwiegermutter; die sprach: Wie steht's mit dir, meine Tochter? Und sie sagte ihr alles, was ihr der Mann getan hatte,

16. Y vino a su suegra, la cual le dijo: ¿Qué pues, hija mía? Y ella le declaró todo lo que con aquel varón le había acontecido.

16 А Руфь пришла к свекрови своей. Та сказала ей : что, дочь моя? Она пересказала ей все, что сделал ей человек тот.

17. ja hän sanoi: "Nämä kuusi mittaa ohria hän antoi minulle, sanoen: 'Et saa mennä tyhjin käsin anoppisi luo'."

17. Ja sanoi: nämät kuusi mittaa ohria antoi hän minulle; sillä hän sanoi: ei pidä sinun tyhjin käsin menemän anoppis tykö.

17. Ja sanoi: nämät cuusi mitta ohria andoi hän minulle: sillä hän sanoi: ei pidä sinun tyhjin käsin menemän sinun anoppis tygö.

17 And she said, He gave me these six (measures) of barley, for he said, Do not go empty to your mother-in-law.

17. And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.

17. und sprach: Diese sechs Maß Gerste gab er mir; denn er sprach: Du sollst nicht leer zu deiner Schwiegermutter kommen.

17. Y dijo: Estas seis medidas de cebada me dió, diciéndome: Porque no vayas vacía a tu suegra.

17 И сказала ей : эти шесть мер ячменя он дал мне и сказал мне:не ходи к свекрови своей с пустыми руками.

18. Silloin Noomi sanoi: "Pysy alallasi, tyttäreni, kunnes saat tietää, kuinka asia päättyy; sillä mies ei suo itselleen lepoa, ennenkuin hän tänä päivänä saattaa asian päätökseen."

18. Hän sanoi: ole hiljakses, tyttäreni, niinkauvan että sinä saat nähdä, kuinka tämä tapahtuu; sillä ei se mies lakkaa ennen kuin hän tämän tänäpäivänä hyvin lopettaa.

18. Hän sanoi: ole hiljaxens tyttären nijncauwan ettäs saat nähdä cuinga tämä tapahtu: sillä ei se mies lacka ennen cuin hän tämän tänäpäiwänä hywin lopetta.

18 Then she said, Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will fall, for the man will not rest until he has finished the thing this day.

18. Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

18. Sie aber sprach: Sei still, meine Tochter, bis du erfährst, wo es hinaus will; denn der Mann wird nicht ruhen, er bringe es denn heute zu Ende.

18. Entónces ella dijo: Reposa, hija mía, hasta que sepas como cae la cosa; porque aquel hombre no reposará hasta que hoy concluya el negocio.

18 Та сказала: подожди, дочь моя, доколе не узнаешь, чем кончится дело; ибо человек тот не останется в покое, не кончив сегодня дела.
