Daniel jalopeurain luolassa.

1. Daarejaves näki hyväksi asettaa valtakuntaansa sata kaksikymmentä satraappia, että heitä olisi kaikkialla valtakunnassa.

3 Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

3. Daniel aber übertraf die Fürsten und Landvögte alle, denn es war ein hoher Geist in ihm; darum gedachte der König, ihn über das ganze Königreich zu setzen.

3 Даниил превосходил прочих князей и сатрапов, потому что в нем был высокий дух, и царь помышлял уже поставить его над всем царством.

4. Silloin toiset valtaherrat sekä satraapit etsivät Danielia vastaan syytä valtakunnan hallinnossa. Mutta he eivät voineet löytää mitään syytä eikä rikkomusta, sillä hän oli uskollinen, eikä hänestä laiminlyöntiä eikä rikkomusta löydetty.

4. Derhalben trachteten die Fürsten und Landvögte darnach, wie sie eine Sache an Daniel fänden, die wider das Königreich wäre. Aber sie konnten keine Sache noch Übeltat finden; denn er war treu, daß man ihm keine Schuld noch Übeltat an ihm finden mochte.

4. Entónces los presidentes, y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino: mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión o falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué hallado en él.

4 Тогда князья и сатрапы начали искать предлога к обвинению Даниила по управлению царством; но никакого предлога и погрешностей не могли найти, потому что он был верен, и никакой погрешности или вины не оказывалось в нем.

5. Silloin nämä miehet sanoivat: Me emme löydä tuossa Danielissa mitään syytä — ellemme löydä sitä hänen jumalanpalveluksessaan.

5 Then these men said, We will not find any occasion against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

5. Da sprachen die Männer: Wir werden keine Sache an Daniel finden außer seinem Gottesdienst.

5 И эти люди сказали: не найти нам предлога против Даниила, если мы не найдем его против него в законе Бога его.

6. Senjälkeen nämä valtaherrat ja satraapit riensivät kiiruusti kuninkaan tykö ja sanoivat hänelle näin: Kuningas Daarejaves eläköön iankaikkisesti!

6. Silloin tulivat päämiehet ja maanvanhimmat joukoittain kuninkaan eteen ja sanoivat hänelle näin: Kuningas Darius eläköön kauvan!

6 Then these presidents and satraps assembled together to the king and said thus to him: King Darius, live forever.

6 Тогда эти князья и сатрапы приступили к царю и так сказали ему: царь Дарий! вовеки живи!

7. Kaikki kuninkaalliset valtaherrat, maaherrat, satraapit, hallitusmiehet ja käskynhaltijat ovat keskenänsä neuvotelleet, että olisi annettava kuninkaallinen julistus ja vahvistettava kielto, että kuka ikinä kolmenkymmenen päivän kuluessa rukoilee jotakin yhdeltäkään jumalalta tai ihmiseltä, paitsi sinulta, kuningas, se heitettäköön jalopeurain luolaan.

7. Valtakunnan päämiehet, herrat, maanvanhimmat, neuvonantajat ja valtamiehet ovat ajatelleet, että kuninkaallinen käsky annettaisiin ja ankara kielto, että jos joku kolmenakymmenenä päivänä joltakulta jumalalta eli ihmiseltä, paitsi sinulta, kuningas, ainoasti jotakin anoo, pitää jalopeurain luolaan heitettämän.

7. Waldacunnan Förstit Herrat maanwanhimmat Neuwonandajat ja wircamiehet owat ajatellet että Cuningalinen käsky annetaisin ja angara kieldo että jos jocu colmenakymmenenä päiwänä joldaculda jumalalda eli ihmiseldä paidzi sinulda Cuningas ainoastans jotakin ano pitä Lejonein tygö luolaan heitettämän.

7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the deputies and the satraps, the counselors and the governors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a strong interdict, that whoever will ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, except of you, O king, he will be cast into the den of lions.

Es haben die Fürsten des Königreichs, die Herren, die Landvögte, die Räte und Hauptleute alle Gedacht, daß man einen königlichen Befehl soll ausgehen lassen und ein strenges Gebot stellen, daß, wer in dreißig Tagen etwas bitten wird von irgend einem Gott oder Menschen außer dir, König, allein, solle zu den Löwen in den Graben geworfen werden.

7. Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo de promulgar un edicto real, y confirmarle: Que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios o hombre por espacio de treinta dias, si no de tí, o! rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

7 Все князья царства, наместники, сатрапы, советники и военачальники согласились между собою, чтобы сделано было царское постановление и издано повеление, чтобы, кто в течение тридцати дней будет просить какого-либо бога или человека, кроме тебя, царь, того бросить в львиный ров.

8 Now, O king, establish the interdict and sign the writing, that it is not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.

8. Darum, lieber König, sollst du solch Gebot bestätigen und dich unterschreiben, auf daß es nicht geändert werde, nach dem Rechte der Meder und Perser, welches niemand aufheben darf.

8. Ahora, o! rey, confirma el edicto, y firma la escritura, para que no se pueda mudar, conforme a la ley de Media y de Persia, que no se quebranta.

8 Итак утверди, царь, это определение и подпиши указ, чтобы он был неизменен, как закон Мидийский и Персидский, и чтобы онне был нарушен.

10. Niin pian kuin Daniel oli saanut tietää, että kirjoitus oli kirjoitettu, meni hän taloonsa, jonka yläsalin ikkunat olivat avatut Jerusalemiin päin. Ja hän lankesi kolmena hetkenä päivässä polvillensa, rukoili ja kiitti Jumalaansa, aivan niinkuin hän ennenkin oli tehnyt.

10 And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he knelt upon his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he did formerly.

10. Als nun Daniel erfuhr, daß solch Gebot unterschrieben wäre, ging er hinein in sein Haus (er hatte aber an seinem Söller offene Fenster gegen Jerusalem); und er fiel des Tages dreimal auf seine Kniee, betete, lobte und dankte seinem Gott, wie er denn bisher zu tun pflegte.

10. Y Daniel cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cenadero, que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día; y oraba, y daba gracias delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer ántes.

10 Даниил же, узнав, что подписан такой указ, пошел в дом свой; окна же в горнице его были открыты против Иерусалима, и он три раза в день преклонял колени, и молился своему Богу, и славословил Его, как это делал он и прежде того.

11. Silloin nuo miehet riensivät kiiruusti sinne ja tapasivat Danielin rukoilemasta ja avuksi huutamasta Jumalaansa.

11 Then these men assembled together and found Daniel making petition and supplication before his God.

11. Da kamen diese Männer zuhauf und fanden Daniel beten und flehen vor seinem Gott.

11. Entónces aquellos varones se juntaron, y hallaron a Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

11 Тогда эти люди подсмотрели и нашли Даниила молящегося и просящего милости пред Богом своим,

12. Sitten he astuivat kuninkaan eteen ja muistuttivat kuninkaan kiellosta: Etkö ole kirjoittanut kieltoa, että kuka ikinä kolmenkymmenen päivän kuluessa rukoilee jotakin yhdeltäkään jumalalta tai ihmiseltä, paitsi sinulta, kuningas, se heitettäköön jalopeurain luolaan? Kuningas vastasi ja sanoi: Kielto on luja, meedialaisten ja persialaisten peruuttamattoman lain mukaan.

12. Niin he astuivat edes ja puhuivat kuninkaan kanssa siitä kuninkaallisesta käskystä ja sanoivat: Etkös kirjoittanut käskyn alle, että jos joku ihminen kolmenakymmenenä päivänä jotakin anova olis joltakulta jumalalta eli ihmiseltä, paitsi sinulta ainoastansa, kuningas, se pitää jalopeurain luolaan heitettämän? Kuningas vastasi ja sanoi: Se on tosi, ja Mediläisten ja Persialaisten oikeutta ei pidä kenenkään rikkoman.

12. Ja astuit edes ja puhuit Cuningan cansa sijtä Cuningalisesta käskyst ja sanoit: Herra Cuningas etkös kirjoittanut käskyn ala että jos jocu colmena kymmenenä päiwänä jotakin anowa olis joldaculda jumalalda eli ihmiseldä paidzi sinulda ainoastans Cuningas piti Lejonein tygö luolaan heitettämän? Cuningas wastais ja sanoi: se on totta ja Medein ja Persialaisten oikeutta ei pidä kenengä rickoman.

12 Then they came near and spoke before the king concerning the king's interdict. Have you not signed an interdict, that every man who will make petition to any god or man within thirty days, except to you, O king, will be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? Und traten hinzu und redeten mit dem König von dem königlichen Gebot: Herr König, hast du nicht ein Gebot unterschrieben, daß, wer in dreißig Tagen etwas bitten würde von irgend einem Gott oder Menschen außer dir, König, allein, solle zu den Löwen in den Graben geworfen werden? Der König antwortete und sprach: Es ist wahr, und das Recht der Meder und Perser soll niemand aufheben.

Entónces llegáronse, y hablaron delante del rey del edicto real, diciendo: ¿No confirmaste edicto, que cualquiera que pidiere a cualquier dios o hombre por espacio de treinta dias, si no a tí, o! rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey, y dijo: Verdad es, conforme a la ley de Media y de Persia, que no se quebranta.

12 потом пришли и сказали царю о царском повелении: не ты ли подписал указ, чтобы всякого человека, который в течение тридцати дней будет просить какого-либо бога или человека, кроме тебя, царь, бросать в львиный ров? Царь отвечал и сказал: это слово твердо, как закон Мидян и Персов, не допускающий изменения.

13. Silloin he vastasivat ja sanoivat kuninkaalle: Daniel, joka on juutalaisia pakkosiirtolaisia, ei välitä sinusta, kuningas, eikä kiellosta, jonka olet kirjoittanut, vaan kolmena hetkenä päivässä hän toimittaa rukouksensa.

13. He vastasivat ja sanoivat kuninkaalle: Daniel, yksi Juudalaisista vangeista, ei tottele sinua, herra kuningas, eikä sinun käskyäs, jonka allekirjoittanut olet; sillä hän rukoilee kolmasti päivässä.

13 Then they answered and said before the king, That Daniel, who is of the sons of the captivity of Judah, does not regard you, O king, nor the interdict that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.

13. Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

13. Sie antworteten und sprachen vor dem König: Daniel, der Gefangenen aus Juda einer, der achtet weder dich noch dein Gebot, das du verzeichnet hast; denn er betet des Tages dreimal.

13. Entónces respondieron, y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de tí, o! rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; ántes tres veces al día pide su petición.

13 Тогда отвечали они и сказали царю, что Даниил, который из пленных сынов Иудеи, не обращает внимания ни на тебя, царь, ни на указ, тобою подписанный, но три раза в день молится своими молитвами.

14. Mutta kun kuningas sen kuuli, tuli hän sangen murheelliseksi, ja hän mietti, miten voisi pelastaa Danielin; auringon laskuun asti hän vaivasi itseään vapauttaaksensa hänet.

14. Kuin Kuningas sen kuuli, tuli hän sangen murheelliseksi ja ahkeroitsi suuresti, että hän Danielin vapahtais; ja vaivasi itsiänsä auringon laskemaan asti, että hän hänet pelastais.

14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was very displeased and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him. And he labored till the going down of the sun to rescue him.

14. Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

14. Da der König solches hörte, ward er sehr betrübt und tat großen Fleiß, daß er Daniel erlöste, und mühte sich bis die Sonne unterging, daß er ihn errettete.

14. El rey entónces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en grande manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para escaparle; y hasta que el sol fué puesto trabajó por escaparle.

14 Царь, услышав это, сильно опечалился и положилв сердце своем спасти Даниила, и даже до захождения солнца усиленно старался избавить его.

15. Silloin ne miehet riensivät kiiruusti kuninkaan tykö ja sanoivat kuninkaalle: Tiedä, kuningas, meedialaisten ja persialaisten laki on, ettei mitään kuninkaan vahvistamaa kieltoa tai julistusta peruuteta.

15. Vaan ne miehet tulivat joukoittain kuninkaan tykö ja sanoivat hänelle: Tiedä, herra kuningas, että Mediläisten ja Persialaisten oikeus on, että kaikki kiellot ja käskyt, joita kuningas päättänyt on, pitää muuttumattomat oleman.

15 Then these men assembled together to the king and said to the king, Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no interdict nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.

15. Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

15. Aber die Männer kamen zuhauf zu dem König und sprachen zu ihm: Du weißt, Herr König, daß der Meder und Perser Recht ist, daß alle Gebote und Befehle, so der König beschlossen hat, sollen unverändert bleiben.

15. Entónces aquellos varones se juntaron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, o! rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto o ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda ser mudada.

15 Но те люди приступили к царю и сказали ему: знай, царь, что по закону Мидян и Персов никакое определение или постановление, утвержденное царем, не может быть изменено.

16. Silloin kuningas käski tuoda Danielin ja heittää hänet jalopeurain luolaan. Ja kuningas puhui Danielille ja sanoi: Sinun Jumalasi, jota sinä lakkaamatta palvelet, pelastakoon sinut. Sitten tuotiin kivi ja pantiin luolan suulle,

16. Silloin kuningas käski, ja he toivat Danielin edes ja heittivät hänet jalopeurain luolaan. Mutta kuningas puhui ja sanoi Danielille: Sinun Jumalas, jotas lakkaamata palvelet, auttakoon Sinua!

16 Then the king commanded and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you.

16. Da befahl der König, daß man Daniel herbrächte; und sie warfen ihn zu den Löwen in den Graben. Der König aber sprach zu Daniel: Dein Gott, dem du ohne Unterlaß dienst, der helfe dir!

16. Entónces el rey mandó, y trajeron a Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey, dijo a Daniel: El Dios tuyo, a quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

16 Тогда царь повелел, и привели Даниила, и бросилив ров львиный; при этом царь сказал Даниилу: Бог твой, Которому ты неизменно служишь, Он спасет тебя!

17 И принесен был камень и положен на отверстие рва, и царь запечатал его перстнем своим, и перстнем вельмож своих, чтобы ничто не переменилось в распоряжении о Данииле.

20. Ja kuin hän luolan tykö lähestyi, huusi hän Danielia surkialla äänellä ja kuningas puhui ja sanoi Danielille: Daniel, sinä elävän Jumalan palvelia, onko Jumalas, jotas ilman lakkaamata palvelet, voinut sinut jalopeuroilta pelastaa?

20 And when he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a lamentable voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?

20. Und als er zum Graben kam rief er Daniel mit kläglicher Stimme. Und der König sprach zu Daniel: Daniel, du Knecht des lebendigen Gottes, hat dich auch dein Gott, dem du ohne Unterlaß dienst, können vor den Löwen erlösen?

20 и, подойдя ко рву, жалобным голосом кликнул Даниила, и сказал царь Даниилу: Даниил, раб Бога живаго! Бог твой, Которому тынеизменно служишь, мог ли спасти тебя от львов?

21. Silloin Daniel vastasi kuninkaalle: Kuningas eläköön iankaikkisesti!

22. Mein Gott hat seinen Engel gesandt, der den Löwen den Rachen zugehalten hat, daß sie mir kein Leid getan haben; denn vor ihm bin ich unschuldig erfunden; so habe ich auch wider dich, Herr König, nichts getan.

22. El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, porque no me hiciesen mal; porque delante de él se halló justicia en mí; y aun delante de tí, o! rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

22 Бог мой послал Ангела Своего и заградил пасть львам, и они не повредили мне, потому что я оказался пред Ним чист, да и перед тобою, царь, я не сделал преступления.

23. Silloin kuningas ihastui suuresti ja käski ottaa Danielin ylös luolasta. Ja kun Daniel oli otettu ylös luolasta, ei hänessä havaittu mitään vammaa; sillä hän oli turvannut Jumalaansa.

23 Then the king was exceedingly glad and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den and no manner of harm was found upon him, because he had trusted in his God.

23. Da ward der König sehr froh und hieß Daniel aus dem Graben ziehen. Und sie zogen Daniel aus dem Graben, und man spürte keinen Schaden an ihm; denn er hatte seinem Gott vertraut.

23. Entónces el rey fué en grande manera alegre con él; y mandó sacar a Daniel del foso; y Daniel fué sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

23 Тогда царь чрезвычайно возрадовался о нем и повелел поднять Даниила изо рва; и поднят был Даниил изо рва, и никакого повреждения не оказалось на нем, потому что он веровал в Бога своего.

24. Ja kuningas käski tuoda ne miehet, jotka olivat syyttäneet Danielia, ja heittää heidät lapsineen ja vaimoineen jalopeurain luolaan; eivätkä he ehtineet luolan pohjaan, ennenkuin jalopeurat hyökkäsivät heidän kimppuunsa ja murskasivat kaikki heidän luunsa.

24 And the king commanded and they brought those men who had accused Daniel and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their sons and their wives. And the lions had the mastery of them and broke all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.

24. Da hieß er die Männer, so Daniel verklagt hatten, herbringen und zu den Löwen in den Graben werfen samt ihren Weibern und Kindern. Und ehe sie auf den Boden hinabkamen, ergriffen sie die Löwen und zermalmten alle ihre Gebeine.

24. Y mandándolo el rey, fueron traidos aquellos varones que habían acusado a Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

24 И приказал царь, и приведены были те люди, которые обвиняли Даниила, и брошены в львиный ров, как они сами, так и дети их и жены их; и они не достигли до дна рва, как львы овладели ими и сокрушили все кости их.

25. Sitten kuningas Daarejaves kirjoitti kaikille kansoille, kansakunnille ja kielille, mitä koko maan päällä asuu: Suuri olkoon teidän rauhanne!

26. Minä olen antanut käskyn, että minun valtakuntani koko valtapiirissä vavistakoon ja peljättäköön Danielin Jumalaa. Sillä hän on elävä Jumala ja pysyy iankaikkisesti. Hänen valtakuntansa ei häviä, eikä hänen herrautensa lopu.

26. Se käsky on minulta asetettu, että kaikessa minun kuninkaan valtakunnassani Danielin Jumalaa peljättämän ja vavistaman pitää, sillä hän on elävä Jumala, joka ijankaikkisesti pysyy, ja hänen valtakuntansa on katoomatoin, ja hänen voimansa loppumatoin.

26 I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God and steadfast forever. And his kingdom is what will not be destroyed and his dominion will be even to the end.

26. Das ist mein Befehl, daß man in der ganzen Herrschaft meines Königreiches den Gott Daniels fürchten und scheuen soll. Denn er ist der lebendige Gott, der ewiglich bleibt, und sein Königreich ist unvergänglich, und seine Herrschaft hat kein Ende.

26. De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel; porque él es Dios viviente, y permaneciente por todos los siglos; y su reino que no se deshará, y su señorío hasta la fin:

26 Мною дается повеление, чтобы во всякой области царства моеготрепетали и благоговели пред Богом Данииловым, потому что Он есть Бог живый и присносущий, и царство Его несокрушимо, и владычество Егобесконечно.

27. Que escapa, y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo, y en la tierra: el cual libró a Daniel del poder de los leones.

27 Он избавляет и спасает, и совершает чудеса и знамения на небе и на земле; Он избавил Даниила от силы львов".

28. Ja tämä Daniel oli korkeassa arvossa ja kunniassa Daarejaveksen valtakunnassa sekä persialaisen Kooreksen valtakunnassa.

28. Ja Daniel tuli voimalliseksi Dariuksen valtakunnassa ja Koreksen Persialaisen valtakunnassa.

28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
