Herran sana Rehabeamille. Hänen linnoituksensa ja varustuksensa. Papit ja leeviläiset siirtyvät Israelista Juudaan. Rehabeamin puolisot ja lapset.

1. Kun Rehabeam tuli Jerusalemiin, kokosi hän Juudan heimon ja Benjaminin, sata kahdeksankymmentä tuhatta sotakuntoista valiomiestä, sotimaan Israelia vastaan ja palauttamaan kuninkuutta Rehabeamille.

1 And when Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men, who were warriors, to fight against Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

1. Und da Rehabeam gen Jerusalem kam, versammelte er das ganze Haus Juda und Benjamin, hunderundachtzigtausend junger Mannschaft, die streitbar waren, wider Israel zu streiten, daß sie das Königreich wieder an Rehabeam brächten.

4. Näin sanoo Herra: Älkää menkö sotimaan veljiänne vastaan. Palatkaa kukin kotiinne, sillä minä olen sallinut tämän tapahtua.' Niin he kuulivat Herran sanoja, kääntyivät takaisin eivätkä menneet Jerobeamia vastaan.

4 Jehovah says thus, You* will not go up, nor fight against your* brothers. Return every man to his house. For this thing is of me. So they listened to the words of Jehovah and returned from going against Jeroboam.

4. So spricht der HERR: Ihr sollt nicht hinaufziehen noch wider eure Brüder streiten; ein jeglicher gehe wieder heim; denn das ist von mir geschehen. Sie gehorchten dem HERRN und ließen ab von dem Zug wider Jerobeam.

4. Así ha dicho Jehová: No subáis, ni peléeis contra vuestros hermanos: vuélvase cada uno a su casa, porque yo he hecho este negocio. Y ellos oyeron la palabra de Jehová, y tornáronse, y no fueron contra Jeroboam.

4 так говорит Господь: не ходите и не начинайте войны с братьями вашими; возвратитесь каждый в дом свой, ибо Мною сделано это. Они послушались слов Господних и возвратились из похода против Иеровоама.

10. Soran, Aijalonin ja Hebronin, jotka ovat Juudassa ja Benjaminissa; ne hän linnoitti lujiksi kaupungeiksi.

11. Hän varusti linnoitukset ja sijoitti niihin päämiehiä sekä muonavarastoja, öljyä ja viiniä

11. Ja hän teki ne vahvaksi ja pani niihin hallitsiat, ja elatuksen varaa, öljyä ja viinaa.

11 And he fortified the strongholds and put captains in them and stores of victuals and oil and wine.

12. ja jokaiseen kaupunkiin kilpiä ja keihäitä; hän varusti ne hyvin lujasti. Ja Juuda ja Benjamin olivat hänen.

12. Ja hän toimitti kaikkiin kaupunkeihin kilvet ja keihäät, ja teki ne sangen vahvaksi. Ja Juuda ja BenJamin olivat hänen allansa.

12 And in every city (he put) shields and spears and made them exceedingly strong. And Judah and Benjamin belonged to him.

12. Und in allen Städten schaffte er Schilde und Spieße und machte sie sehr stark. Juda und Benjamin waren unter ihm.

12 И дал в каждый город щиты и копья и утвердил их весьма сильно. И оставались за ним Иуда и Вениамин.

14 For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession and came to Judah and Jerusalem. For Jeroboam and his sons cast them off, that they should not execute the priest's office to Jehovah.

14. denn die Leviten verließen ihre Vorstädte und Habe und kamen zu Juda gen Jerusalem. Denn Jerobeam und seine Söhne verstießen sie, daß sie vor dem HERRN nicht des Priesteramtes pflegen konnten.

14. Porque los Levitas debajan sus ejidos, y sus posesiones, y se venían a Judá, y a Jerusalem; que Jeroboam y sus hijos los echaban del ministerio de Jehová.

14 ибо оставили левиты свои городские предместья и свои владения и пришли в Иудею и в Иерусалим, так как оставил их Иеровоам и сыновья его от священства Господня

15. Jerobeam kun oli asettanut itselleen pappeja uhrikukkuloita varten ja metsänpeikkoja varten ja vasikoita varten, jotka hän oli teettänyt.

16. Ja heitä seurasivat kaikista Israelin sukukunnista Jerusalemiin ne, jotka sydämestään antautuivat etsimään Herraa, Israelin Jumalaa, uhratakseen Herralle, isiensä Jumalalle.

16. Ja monta kaikista Israelin sukukunnista, jotka sydämestänsä etsivät Herraa Israelin Jumalaa, tulivat heidän perässänsä Jerusalemiin, uhraamaan Herralle isäinsä Jumalalle,

16 And after them, such as set their hearts to seek Jehovah, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem out of all the tribes of Israel to sacrifice to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

16. Und nach ihnen kamen aus allen Stämmen Israels, die ihr Herz gaben, daß sie nach dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, fragten, gen Jerusalem, daß sie opferten dem HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter.

16. Tras ellos vinieron también de todas las tribus de Israel, los que habían puesto su corazón en buscar a Jehová Dios de Israel: y viniéronse a Jerusalem para sacrificar a Jehová el Dios de sus padres.

16 А за ними и из всех колен Израилевых расположившие сердце свое, чтобы взыскать Господа Бога Израилева, приходили в Иерусалим, дабы приносить жертвы Господу Богу отцов своих.

17. Näin he vahvistivat Juudan valtakuntaa ja tukivat Rehabeamia, Salomon poikaa, kolme vuotta; sillä he vaelsivat Daavidin ja Salomon teitä kolme vuotta.

17 So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong three years. For they walked three years in the way of David and Solomon.

17. Und stärkten also das Königreich Juda und befestigten Rehabeam, den Sohn Salomos, drei Jahre lang; denn sie wandelten in den Wegen Davids und Salomos drei Jahre.

17. Y fortificaron el reino de Judá, y confirmaron a Roboam, hijo de Salomón, tres años; porque tres años anduvieron en el camino de David, y de Salomón.

17 И укрепили они царство Иудино и поддерживали Ровоама, сына Соломонова, три года, потому что ходили путем Давида и Соломона в сии три года.

18. Ja Rehabeam otti vaimokseen Mahlatin, joka oli Daavidin pojan Jerimotin ja Iisain pojan Eliabin tyttären Abihailin tytär.

18 And Rehoboam took him a wife, Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David, (and of) Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.

18 И взял себе Ровоам в жену Махалафу, дочь Иеромофа, сына Давидова, и Авихаиль, дочь Елиава, сына Иессеева,

19. Tämä synnytti hänelle pojat Jeuksen, Semarjan ja Saahamin.

20. Hänen jälkeensä hän nai Maakan, Absalomin tyttären, joka synnytti hänelle Abian, Attain, Siisan ja Selomitin.

20 And after her he took Maacah the daughter of Absalom. And she bore for him Abijah and Attai and Ziza and Shelomith.

21. Ja Rehabeam rakasti Maakaa, Absalomin tytärtä, enemmän kuin kaikkia muita vaimojaan ja sivuvaimojaan. Sillä hän oli ottanut kahdeksantoista vaimoa ja kuusikymmentä sivuvaimoa; ja hänelle syntyi kaksikymmentä kahdeksan poikaa ja kuusikymmentä tytärtä.

21 And Rehoboam loved Maacah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines. For he took eighteen wives and thirty concubines and fathered twenty-eight sons and thirty daughters.

21. Mas Roboam amó a Maaca la hija de Absalom sobre todas sus mujeres y concubinas: porque tomó diez y ocho mujeres, y sesenta concubinas, y engendró veinte y ocho hijos, y sesenta hijas.

21 И любил Ровоам Мааху, дочь Авессалома, более всех жен и наложницсвоих, ибо он имел восемнадцать жен и шестьдесят наложниц и родилдвадцать восемь сыновей и шестьдесят дочерей.

22. Ja Rehabeam asetti Abian, Maakan pojan, päämieheksi, ruhtinaaksi hänen veljiensä joukossa, sillä hän aikoi tehdä hänet kuninkaaksi.

22 And Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah to be chief, the ruler among his brothers. For (he intended) to make him king.

22. Und Rehabeam setzte Abia, den Sohn Maachas, zum Haupt und Fürsten unter seinen Brüdern; denn er gedachte ihn zum König zu machen.

22. Y puso Roboam a Abías, hijo de Maaca, por cabeza y príncipe de sus hermanos, porque le quería hacer rey.

22 И поставил Ровоам Авию, сына Маахи, главою и князем надбратьями его, потому что хотел воцарить его.

23. Ja viisaasti hän jakoi kaikki Juudan ja Benjaminin maakunnat ja kaikki varustetut kaupungit kaikkien poikiensa kesken ja antoi heille runsaasti elintarpeita ja hankki heille paljon vaimoja.

23 And he dealt wisely and dispersed all his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to every fortified city. And he gave them provisions in abundance. And he sought (for them) many wives.

23. And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.

23. Und er handelte klüglich und verteilte alle seine Söhne in die Lande Juda und Benjamin in alle festen Städte, und er gab ihnen Nahrung die Menge und nahm ihnen viele Weiber.

23. E hízole instruir, y esparció todos sus hijos por todas las tierras de Judá y de Benjamín, y por todas las ciudades fuertes, y dióles vituallas en abundancia, y pidió muchas mujeres.

23 И действовал благоразумно, и разослал всех сыновейсвоих по всем землям Иуды и Вениамина во все укрепленные города, и дал им содержаниебольшое и приискал много жен.
